I think he's really good. Willing to bet his dash gets nerfed before live since it takes 1 second to charge and crosses the distance of a jungle gym almost instantly.
Seems no better than a huntress hatchet except you can't aim it. Plus they get the big mouth opening as a warning that its coming so...I'd give it a day before survivors learn how to read it and dodge. Great for big open space maps.....terrible power for closed spaces and small maps....
Like a new player trying to play Nurse while being stuck in the meatplant or the mental institute. Just.....not the most ideal place to be for a killer who can oops and cross 40 meters distance with a double teleport.

Well in that case this perk only punishes dumb killers.... smart killers don't face camp its a waste of pressure.....

I can't see it ever really affecting me as a killer. This would only make a difference in situations where someone's in the struggle phase but can't save them. If they can save them, that will always be preferable anyway. In other words, I'd have to be camping the hook for it to do anything.
Not to mention that I get a 4 second warning whenever someone goes to save them, since the timer pauses.
Just make it so the effects don't stack? Problem solved.

For one. No it doesn't. Small game gives you a premonition style warning when ur a piss blast from the totem to begin with.
Second of all let's say I opt to facecamp the first Survivior I hook and run Noed. What's the counter to me camping? Genrushing. But what's the counter to Noed? Not genrushing and doing totems. So if someone with Noed facecamps they force Surviviors into a lose/lose situation.
That's the rub. Surviviors have 2 options against a camping killer that runs Noed.
1. Genrush the living hell out of him. But you know what that requires? Perfect coordination, Prove Thyself, Toolboxes, no ruin, no cleansing, and no healing for the duration of the genrush. This is something only SWF can achieve and they'd need to begin the genrush the moment the Survivior got hooked, which 99 times out of 99, does not happen. And if they successfully genrush and get 2-3 gens done during the facecamp yes the guy goes down and 3 gens come up in exchange, but the killer is running Noed and the Surviviors cannot stop the ball from Rolling now or they'll lose. So they have to get that gen done and then they get punched with Noed.
2. Do the totems, heal, and work on gens. Waste a bunch of time to maybe get 1 gen done. Guy on the Hook dies for what is effectively ######### nothing. Noed is countered, yay congrats and the killer has all the time in the world to prance the day away and 3v1 his way to victory.
It's a lose/lose. Noed loses all viable counterplay when camping exists.
Dude what?!?!
If a killer is face camping someone they're literally throwing the game. You can drop all the gens but 1 during that time run them in a chase and get out at that point. On top of the fact that the killer loses points for face camping the hook....I can't even believe you're bringing face camping into this as a valid tactic when its LITERALLY THROWING THE GAME! Even if you pop 3 gens in that time the game is over for the killer.....face camping...I can't even...theres no way you play killer if you think thats a valid strat...Like what?
A 3v1 for the killer with even 1 gens left is GG. If the survivors aren't rank 20 YOU LOSE! And since you face camped 1 person for the whole game, you now have to find the other survivors, win a chase, and then hope they don't have adrenaline in the middle of that 45-60 second chase you just did, you also didn't break ANY PALLETS. At that point noED doesn't matter since you can no longer rotate the survivors around the hook assuming you did down one of them. Which leaves the game with maybe 2 of 4 survivors killed assuming nobody runs borrowed time, which would have DELETED your face camp in the first place....
BORROWED TIME.....STRAT DELETED, tunnel them...DSTRIKE..... STRAT DELETED....
Face camping....smh. I can't even begin to count the amount of high rank games where Dstrike or BT are in play to counter bad killer strategy but...what you said doesn't make any sense to any killer above rank 18....
Also what more of a hint do you need to find the totem? It literally shows you where its at in a cone where you face the camera....all it takes from there is walking up to the spawn point, and since they all spawn in the same general places around objects, boom, you're done.

No terror radius, but instead, you hear the gargling noises.
She uses her hair as a power to pop survivors at a small distance, or even slow them.
She's invisible unless you're within the radius of her gargling!
Or instead of her hair doing damage, you have 7 seconds before it injures you!
2 maps, the hospital and Kayakos house area!
2 new survivors from a wide range of the japanese cast.

Small game is not a totem counter tho? Small game is still good to bring tho on maps where totems are more hidden.
WHAT OTHER COUNTER DO YOU NEED?!?!? If you have a perk that literally just shows you were totems are, thats the best counter you could get! Are you kidding me? Other than breaking the totems for you automatically, which isn't a counter, its just broken. The same as having some perk that auto completes a generator. You still have to do the objective. And if you don't do the objective...OOPS looks like you died~ Its just lazyness on the side of survivors that want quick farming points. And I'll admit I've fallen into that habit a few times while playing survivor, its a bad habit. The same as just running around the map without hiding, its a bad habit, where you may think you're good at looping but there's always going to be a killer thats better who will call you on your bluff mind game you and down you in your arrogance.

I would love to see a special game mode or map that incorporated locked doors or keys etc, indoor's obviously,
Imagine, a 3 story haunted mansion, where the primary objective was to hide more often than run in a chase.

Maybe that's a buff for whispers.
I mean...a perk like that would be powerful for a lot of killers. People like leatherface who bumble around a map the whole time. It would have powerful implications for low terror radius killers as well. And it would combo well with perks that reduce your terror radius like monitor and abuse. It would also improve pigs default stalk and be powerful for ghostface.....until your stalk gets broken and you have a terror radius again. It would also combo really well with the obsession terror radius perk.

NOED Rewards you for keeping unlit totems, or for survivors failing to get all totems.
It's frustrating to go against all Adrenaline survivors when you're doing well. It completely stops the snowball effect killers benefit from.
Sometimes you as a killer are not in a position to stop all the gens.
This is especially apparent for killers with low mobility and no way to teleport sprint or move across a large map to effectively protect gens. Perks like NoED and Ruin and some others help relieve the fact that you can't be as present as say a nurse or spirit or billy or even legion.
They should have a perk that increases your speed if survivors are outside of your terror radius!

It's simply a badly designed perk in my opinion. Rewards killers with cheap downs because... ????
the survivors completed their objective?
Makes no sense to me, never liked it.
Or you could just.....not be lazy and cleanse that dull totem you ran past 20 times this match? Whats the point of having dull totem cleansing if survivors aren't gonna do it or come up with some excuse as to why not to do it? I look at it this way. A killer gets punished if you don't hook anyone you're likely to lose that match. If a killer doesn't kick gens, you're likely to have that gen go off. If you don't heal yourself as a survivor you're likely 1 tapped and downed. Its almost as if there's consequences for not playing the game optimally. If you refuse to cleanse dull totems or hexes you have to deal with the consequence of those actions should the killer have perks that punish your ignorance of play. It really is that simple.

I actually play with this logic in mind, so please by all means, do not cleanse yourself so I can have full stacks of thanatophobia at all times and insta downs. I also carry a franklins just to salt the wound even further. And overcharge just to reset that progress a bit more.
Your ability to cleanse or not cleanse and it be successful is completely dependent on the build of the plague you're facing.

Hemorrhage:

You gotta learn to break the chase if you see a person aiming for long loop stretches you can lose the game like that. Use them as bait and swap targets to one of their weak team mates. Also helps to carry perks that mess up loopers from their normal state of mind.
Franklins, no more flashlight pallets, bamboozle if you know how to lock a predictable loop ahead of time, play with your food because even 1 TOKEN is strong as hell with any killer you get the speed boost on.

@ElusivePukka said:
Because some killers lack the mobility to adequately defend the gens on larger maps, and a lot of killer players would rather complain than switch up their strategies at first.
Or play nurse or spirit....
The mobility plays a bigger factor in gen rushing than just "getting to the gen"
The amount of time it takes some killers to end a chase compared to others is too damn long. For instance a nurse may take the first 30 seconds of a chase and you're down...done...
A trapper vs the same opponent in the same chase may take 60+ seconds to down someone ^ trapper has no chase tools you just force concede loops the same way hag does.
Then you have killers like pig or plague or legion who force extra objectives which has nothing to do with chase time but can extend the time it takes to get the total games gens done.
Then you have wraith, and Wraith....wraith is about as basic as you get except you can't even force people to concede loops with traps, and you have 0 ZERO extra objectives to extend the game with.
HIGH MOBILITY KILLERS DO NOT CARE ABOUT GEN RUSHING BECAUSE THE TIME IT TAKES THEM TO END YOUR LIFE IS MUCH SHORTER
A WRAITH WILL BE COMPLETELY DELETED BY GEN RUSHING BECAUSE HE HAS 0 TOOLS TO EFFECTIVELY END A CHASE OR EXTEND THE GAME
Chase effectiveness, and objective extension.
^ These 2 qualifiers are the only thing that matter to the effectiveness of a killer. Until they magically create another mechanic for survivors to complete this is it...if you get gen rushed and your killer doesn't have 1 of these qualifiers as part of their kit its game over...you lose...

It better be just for scoring purposes.. if I log in and can't apply sloppy butcher or thano or noED....im uninstalling....

No....no they're not....
Perks are the equivalent of a survivors power. They all have the same capabilities outside of perks of which some are only specific to certain survivors.
There are survivor perks that mimic items...bottany and self care>med kits Proove thyself and leader>toolboxes. Sabo toolboxes come as a built in perk. The only thing you can't perk yourself into instead of an item is a flashlight.

When it comes to the examples you provide then you are correct. But when it comes to instadowns, that stuff needs to be something YOU did to earn it.
This thread is basically "I play nurse and ignore all concepts of skill used to resist the killer, can break the dynamic of the game by being 40 places at once and everybody else should just git gud like nurse"
As a pig main, I'm glad you're not a developer....

@PickCollins said:
Noed should be removed. I know I know but before the "Survivior main spotted" comments come in, I'm a filthy Nurse main. So killers as well as Surviviors hate me
Noed, simply put, does not reward the killer for good gameplay or punish the Survivior for bad gameplay. It rewards killers for bad gameplay and punishes Surviviors for good gameplay. Let's think about the trigger conditions and the dichotomy that is established.
How many totems need to be cleansed for NOED to not trigger? All 5. That means Surviviors can do 4/5 totems and Noed will still trigger. So there's a lot of effort that needs to be put into countering Noed. Let's juxtapose this with what the killer needs to do in order to trigger Noed. Which is...let the Surviviors complete the gens. This is btw, something you are NOT supposed to do. You are not supposed to let Surviviors complete their win condition in order to escape as a team. Noed allows you to let them complete their objective and rewards you for failing, which to me is gross.
Survivors have to be victims of toxic behavior to earn decisive strike and they have to work for Mettle of Man. They have to have a friend who is a victim of toxic behavior for borrowed time. Killers that ride everything on Noed are not smart killers trying to punish the genrushing toxic squadettes clicking their flashlights at poor bubba's and Wraiths who have to deal with windows. They're plain and simply put, bad at the game. And I specifically recall killer mains as a whole saying that BHVR shouldn't balance this game around people who are bad at the game.
Oh right. I forgot. Ur only bad if ur a Survivior main. If you consistently can't even get a kill with killers it's just bc Surviviors are OP, right?
You play nurse? Thats gross, your killer ignores 90% of the games mechanics and dynamics.... could it even be considered a real killer?
-
If you get 8/7/6 hooks before the last Generator is completed a broken totem will be rebuilt into a Hex totem granting you a 4% speed boost and gives Survivors the Exposed status effect until the totem is broken.
And lose yet another counter to gen rushing? No thanks....

The best survivor perks are...... I'm not gonna tell you our secrets, silly survivor you thought it was that easy?

Do you find any of the stalk movement speed ones worth it? I wonder if maybe we could get this switched out for something else...I’d like something new that freshens the character up a little, after so long maining him I feel like I’m getting super attached to spirit right now because she’s so much more of a versatile killer and there’s rewards to mastering her that I feel aren’t present for Myers (May allude to him only being mid tier)

I think the timer on RBT is fine. The only thing I think needs some buffs are her Add-ons half of them aren’t worth using.
She has a lot of add ons that aren't worth using. Namely all the skill check add ons. Theres no point to using them since its just a default skill check, and even if you run perks that make skill check zones smaller it doesn't do anything. Her hemorrhage add on is useless. Her mangled add on is useless. Her skill check add ons are useless. Her exhaustion add on is semi useless and only worth a damn if someone has sprint burst to slow down their box search.
I wish she had an add on or toxic poison add on, that made it so when you had a jigsaw box on you were injected with drugs/chemicals, similar to the movie, and it made you dizzy like the clown bottles do. That would be epic. Survivors with jigsaw boxes running around with drunk screens....

I think that person means having the current Rules Set No. 2 be base kit for Amanda and have that other idea be the new Rules Set No. 2 add-on.
Having ruleset no. 2 and only the part where survivors can't see jigsaw box auras until the trap is active would at least create some tension and pressure. As it stands now survivors especially in coms can just mark each box. Then tell each other which box they should go to next because for whatever reason after 3 people have removed traps the last person with a trap on is let free with the last unexplored box...And you have all the auras as a survivor to know exactly where they are and where to go.....

If there's only two boxes, what would prevent me from running to the other box and crouching in front of it when I hear someone fail to remove their trap at the first box? It's not a terrible idea, but it could be easily abused.
The problem with her power is.....it doesn't create any pressure until people complete a generator. And any premade group with half a brain can just push the generator up to 90% and wait for people to get their boxes off. All of this is going on while Amanda is chasing people and attempting hooks. She can only chase 1 person at a time, so if people stall out gens like this they can burn her traps and finish the game that way.
Or they can just gen rush and ignore the 1 guys timer because the time it takes to do 2 gens you can easily lead her on chases enough to where you have 3 gens left and she's just now placing a second trap. So unless the timer is running, theres literally no pressure.
IMO something that would stay true to the lore and actually possibly combat survive with friends groups is punishing gen completion after someone has a bear trap on. To either reduce the timer of the person with a bear trap. Or if someone has a bear trap on and you complete a generator the next bear trap she puts onto someone gets reduced by 10 seconds for the max timer. To prevent people just ignoring her concept and gen rushing. She can easily be gen rushed to the point where she has 1 or 2 bear traps left over.
Honestly though, the jigsaw boxes could stay how they are, but the fact you guys killed her end game capability.....yet her stealth still suffers since she has one of the loudest "I'm attacking now!" tells in the game why not just remove the lions roar so I can at least have some jump scare fun.....its bad enough they can hear me breathing from like 15 meters away......Throw us something....you gut her end game playstyle entirely but don't compensate it....can't be treating licensed killers like this, thats messed up.....

[I'm curious to know what people would do in certain situations. I'll compile the results of those who reply all the questions. And I plan on doing more.
- Run noED (even though its not that optimal on freddy in a situation where the game is pretty much over) Blood Warden cause...at this point you're gonna have to pray. Thanatophobia to stack with his basic power kit and pop goes the weasel. Plus prayer....lots of prayer. Theres no logical way to win this unless you start an altruism loop and whittle people down. But that last gen is going to get done, you probably have enough time before that last gen pops to get maybe 2 hooks and if you don't pressure that last guy you won't get any more than that. Either way the last gen is going to get done, and from there you'll have nothing left but NoED to carry you hoping to start another altruism loop. You're not gonna have enough time in most cases to sleep each person at their gen, and the amount of regression for a skillcheck wont matter.
- Its pretty much over at this point and because it even reached that long you have to question your build in the first place and stack more altruism punishment and free heals with sloppy butcher and franklins etc.
- Thano, pop goes the weasel, blood warden, noED
- nothing you have as add ons will help this situation...because you let it get this far, you should have been running jump ropes and swing chains but now you're boned....
- Any map with a close 3 gen
- A HUGE difference 2 survivors are way easier to force into altruism and get them off your god damn gen, if they dont choose altruism their friend dies. Instead of with 3 where 1 guy can be a hero while the 1 guy stays to work giving the survivors 2 benefits at once.....

Seen every SAW film on release except for the most recent one had to catch it online. Pig was my first killer purchase. Her style to me honestly fits this game more than any other killer. You have this giant trap zone full of broken down pallets and run around trying to escape this trap by solving and fixing generators, and picking up tools and flashlights to help. Adding jigsaw boxes and saw traps turns the game into a great escape horror flick. The only real thing thats missing from this game is random dangerous zone hazards.
Just imagine. Trap door floors, pallets with spikes on them! Generators laced with explosives so that if you fail a skill check it BLOWS YOUR FACE CLEAN OFF! Farm equipment thats rigged to grind up survivors if they screw up near it! 2nd story buildings with broken floors that injure you when you fall down them. Basements laced with trip wire that shoots spikes out of the wall if you touch it! The freezer room in the meat factory put a generator in it, you fail a skill check and the doors and windows close up and the survivor freezes to death!!!!
It all sounds crazy....but one can dream....

Anyway, to me, Hex Perks aren't a waste of a slot if you can gain fun from using them.
And fun is subjective.
They'd be a lot of fun.....if survivors didn't know they were so obviously running and didn't blow up within 60 seconds of the match starting. For killers who aren't nurse or spirit, or hag or trapper who have natural built in ways of protecting a hex other killers are screwed. And as much as I'd love to play around with blind and skill check hexes its just not practical to run them, and thus, not fun.
IMO they should just revise the hex system. Which sucks because they have some awesome effects. Some of which are a bit crazy like devour hope......but the rest of the hex perks I don't even know why they are hexes. I'd rather have the blind hex be a normal perk and just give it a 2 minute duration instead of how it currently is. I dunno, just seems lame and a waste of energy to run them...

This is either a troll post, or this list was made by someone who never played survivor. You're also listing perks that are designed to counter standard gameplay as perks without counter play.....why would you list a perk thats supposed to counter as having no counter play when its purpose was to be the counter in the first place?
Anyway, both crows, and stridor are countered by calm spirit.
Sloppy butcher is countered by botany knowledge.
Pop goes the weasel is countered by brand new part.
Endurance is a counter so why would there be a counter for a counter?!?!?
Franklins same as endurance is a counter to flashlights, so why would there be a counter to a counter?
Hangmans is a counter, Unrelenting is just.....bad....theres no reason to ever use it so to even call it a perk is a stretch.
Bloodhound is countered by no Mither. Bamboozle is a counter to window vaults again why create a counter for a skill designed to be a counter? Theres not enough perk slots in this game to have counters for counters with counters.....
Insidious is countered by spine chill.....I'd keep going but this list is a god damn mess.....
And then you list tinker as having a counter.....dude.... theres nothing you can do to tinker to take those advantages away from the killer, they will know you are on the gen, and will get the stealth....
How did you even miss calm spirit crows?!?!?

You use 2 perks slots to inflict a 50% healing speed debuff on 1 survivor for 20 seconds ? I don't call that good.
The sad truth is that Dark Devotion is just plain bad. Its awkward to use, as you have to find your obsession, hit them, then let them go and find someone else to take by surprise within 20 seconds.
Its a gimmick that might confuse the survivors a little bit if you manage to make it work, wich you won't be able to do consistently.
honestly, it doesn't last long enough. I tried running spirit builds with it for the mind games and thats about as far as it goes. 20 seconds isn't near enough time for anything to be effective.

The power exposes only one survivor at a time, the whole point of it is to get as close as possible, stalk without being noticed, and down the survivor before the short timer runs out
Thats a cool idea and all but the problem with non invisible stealth killers is the same. You're in first person, the survivors are in 3rd person.
Now don't get me wrong, I've pulled off some amazing jump scares as pig, but in no way are those jumps a gimme. People will see you coming, and hear you coming. Thats one of the reasons why crouching as a pig around the map is a lost cause. Even if you get close enough to someone to get a good range on them, THEY WILL HEAR YOU before you even jump them. And if they don't hear your breath, they hear a giant ######### tiger sound (cause that makes sense, I totally remember tiger sounds in the SAW movies.....)
Hes going to have the same issues as pig does when trying to creep on people, only problem is he doesn't seem to have a lunge to deal with the fact that he's not sneaky in the slightest. And will likely have some sort of goofy ass breathing that gives him away.
And in larger maps, if you can't aura track survivors to actually break their line of sight and get a good position on a jump scare.....you're not gonna get them.....
So unless this mother ######### has GOD TIER aura reading none of this bullshit crouching is gonna do anything.

With the power Ghostface is going to bring to the table, iv'e been thinking about where that would put Michael on my roster.
I don't think so. You can only expose 1 person at a time, so the amount of pressure you have vs michael myers is way different. Exposing 4 people at once forces survivors to play selfishly, every man for themselves. Exposing 1 person is no different than the plague and her goofy sickness stunt. Except people wont see you coming. Great for isolating 1 target, but the rest of the team will likely play altruistically since all you did was cut your chase time down, you didn't multiply your threat like michael myers would.
