  • Delete noED, bring it back as the default when the game ends like back in the day.

  • They usually stay lower tier because of Mobility issues, the fact that a lot of them are M1 killers whos power doesn't help in a chase, and sometimes their stealth isn't actually stealthy at all, like you can hear them coming a mile away or you can hear them breathing or you hear a ######### wind tunnel or some stupid #########.

Basically.....BHVR keeps hand holding survivors too much for stealth killers to be the actual threat they present in their kit. And as a whole BHVR hand holds survivors too much. Giving them too much information regardless of their rank, and in general just babying them.

  • Theres been a surge of survivor players that don't know this talking about camping.

Listen....if you have a killer who is camping....DO NOT RUSH THE HOOK,

Go crash all the gens in record time and leave the map

Why would you like this to be removed? Let's remove the indicators for other killer powers and see how that goes.

Ehhh, there's a fair amount of killer powers that don't have indicators until someone is injured or effected by it. You don't get to look across the map to see hags traps when she teleports....

Tell me: How do i pressure gens that are on the opposite side of the map as (for example) Bubba or Ghostface ?

You don't....and this has been an issue for over a year, there are tons of killers who would love to ditch ruin and other slow down perks but we can't do it because of the way certain killers kits work YOU DONT HAVE TIME!!!

You just don't, you can't teleport, you cant sprint across the map, you cant set a trap and be 2 places at once, you can't put a jigsaw box on someones head and leave them to the RNG gods. Bubba, ghostface, wraith, huntress, Myers, Clown (regardless of how great you think your throws are) cannot apply the same pressure as other killers and it sticks out like a sore thumb.

And its just annoying because we've been over this topic already we've had these conversations already before, but things just got that much hotter because the tool people recommend to bandaid the problem is nerfed. Incredibly frustrating to see....

  • I like this idea, but devs don't care about killers, there I said it. We're a minority, and you only need so many of us to start games. We've been asking for a hex rework or something to assist with them for a while without running a full hex build and we never get any answers. And since we don't get any answers, hex's outside of the old ruin and the spirits hex rarely ever get used. So most of the hex's outside of that are ghost perks. Either completely useless or never used. To go along with the many other trash tier killer perks that.....considering your limited perk space are a complete waste of space.

I wish they would do something about them, hell your idea sounds amazing....but time and time again hex's get ignored....so I'm not holding my breath...

  • @SolAkira said:

Yes let's bring logic it. Trapper can step over his traps after setting them briefly. He also can just step in it and keep walking after he rearms it.

Id rather just take the ability for trapper to walk over his traps without triggering them. Its kind of a stupid mechanic to have in the first place, because in the wrong instance his power can end up operating like a wall, keeping him away from his own targets....pretty stupid....

  • Are all survivors recently like this guy?

Seriously op.....if you don't want to be tunneled or have the person you're unhooking get tunneled.....STOP MAKING UNSAFE UNHOOKS!!!!!

STOP UNHOOKING IN FRONT OF ME AND NOT BLOCKING THE HIT OF THE PERSON YOU'RE RESCUING

STOP UNHOOKING THE PERSON AND NOT ASSISTING THEM WITH A HEAL OR ANYTHING

STOP UNHOOKING PEOPLE INSIDE OF MY TERROR RADIUS

STOP UNHOOKING PEOPLE FOR BLOODPOINT FARMING

AND STOP UNHOOKING PEOPLE 2-3 SECONDS AFTER THEY'VE JUST BEEN HOOKED.....

They aren't going to die instantly, theres a timer, they have multiple chances to get back into the game. And if you're the person being unhooked.......RUN AWAY AND GO HEAL, GO HIDE, GET OUT OF DANGER AND STOP BOPPING AROUND THE MAP RANDOMLY MOANING AND BLEEDING ALL OVER THE PLACE, IM NOT OBLIGED TO LET YOU LIVE IF YOU DON'T TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!!!

If you want to stop a killer from tunneling....STOP CAMPING THE HOOK!!! You're risking your team mates life....

If you're a main surv as you claim. Why are you complaining that gens get done in 2 mins and you need ruin to do something else? If you want to clean totems, search chest or let the killer chase you no one is stoping you. Right? But you refuse to do another thing more than generators. Even with old Ruin you will be doing generators and not much else. Ocasionally a chase or two but that shows that you in red ranks want to repair and go away, is as simple as that.

Contrary to popular belief, survivor pips in red ranks are actually pretty tough, if the game is over in 2 minutes and you don't have an unhook or a heal or any altruism....welp.....GG no pip, and you might even depip.

As they explained in subsequent comments, OP isn't taking issue with criticism in general, they're taking issue with people who take their complaints to destructive levels. And it's true that there are a lot of people on the forums who act like spoiled children when something in the game doesn't go their way, which is why making the distinction between constructive and nonconstructive criticism is so important.

Nah this thread is high key bait.

Telling everyone to be quiet about a game they frequent and suggesting you're childish for complaining is bait. The alternative suggested is everyone be silent about problems with the game which in turn lead to silent ghosting, where a game just dies off and the community doesn't even engage enough to say anything about whats wrong with the game to tip the developers off on how to improve. We're all adults here, we can cypher through a negative comment to figure out a grievance regardless of how many expletives are used. Not having the ability to do so, would be actually childish.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

    Yep.

That said though, this game needs better tutorials

There are no tutorials on psychopathy, you just.....do it. Learn the hunt and do it.

Also, OP is being highly disingenuous saying killers (assuming killer mains) complain about DS and BT and DH.... DS got nerfed....I could care less if an entire team brought it to the match, annoying sure, but it'll only buy you about 5 seconds in my chases. Buying time? Couldn't care less, doesn't matter who I hit afterwards if you're the one saving them you're about to go down soon, and if you're the one being saved, you just gave me a free stun on your location as you mend, you're not going anywhere. And dead hard....aside from giving yourself a slight boost to reach a pallet or a window, you're likely again only saving a few seconds. Which is no time at all in a pig or plague game due to objective coverage and natural built in pressure.

Now if I was a trapper main.....I'd be pissed.

You guys need to understand that not all killers are created equal. A problem for 1 is not a problem for all. So when you see someone complain about something, instead of netting all killers into 1 box, try to ask the person complaining what killer they're playing. For instance, cannibal doesn't give a single ######### about BT for obvious reasons including Legion and Myers. And a lot of Huntress players don't give a single good god damn about DH. Tons of pigs and plagues don't care about DS as they have mechanics built in that follow a survivor into their doom even without them being hooked.

The only side in this game that can have blanket statements thrown at them are Survivors, which are literally just different skins.

@PigMainBigBrain I like Freddy, he can make fun plays. Thing i like the most is he has "high mobility" without making him so strong in chases like Nurse is, and since she is no longer high mobility we have kind of a balance.

But honestly i think Freddy is stronger than Billy on higher level play. If survivors make no or very little mistakes his power actually helps securing the hits when Billy would be helpless. He is bullyable once exits are opened while Billy is not, so i like Billy more, he punishes recklesness like noone else xD.

Wrong pig main, happy birthday to all pig mains btw.

This 100%. It’s pathetic to see but explains how some even got to red ranks. I played a trapper tonight who had ruin, noed, and an ebony Mori.

Its trapper though....would you honestly blame him?

  • I like Object of obsession, That person dies on sight. I play stealth killers....so yeah I'm camping that hook or playing like a complete bastard if I see one in game. So if the idea of the perk is to draw hate to yourself.....its doing its job. Double bonus if you're playing pig and you trap them, they're dead. You don't have to leave them alone that hat isn't coming off and if a gen goes off they got a minute and some change, you don't even have to let them touch a single box, theyre going to die either way.

Dude literally a good team can do 5 gens in less than 10 min. Tell me where's the fun in that for both sides? For survivors, boring af holding M1 all match. For killer frustrating af. Even with Ruin that happened to me a lot of times. With new ruin this will be almost every match. Killers needs slow the game down a bit.

10 minutes? Thats way too long. 6 minutes tops.

  • @CogHead said:

I think Trapper, Wraith, Demogorgon, Legion, Bubba, and Pig desperately need buffs. Trapper should just start with more traps. Wraith needs some kind of buff to his invisibility. Demogorgon either needs more portals or a shorter cool down between teleportations. Legion needs his recent nerf where his FF is no longer counted as a normal hit removed. Bubba really needs a whole rework. And Pig is probably going to get a rework.

No thank you, I like my beartraps just fine please, do not ruin my character with BHVR nonsense they almost did it before....

Your so hilarious woth your poor bait.

    "Huntress hatchet hitboxes fix"

Right because that went well the first time, totally didn't destroy the huntress to the point where they had to hotfix it and had mains quitting left and right.

    "Iri Heads rework"

For what?!?!? You act like its a Mori....

"Ghostface revealing fix" They already nerfed him in this regard and you want him to be even more useless?

"Hag Trap triggers" Hag is trash tier why nerf her more?

"Spirit Phasewalk indicator" Are you playing with the sound turned off?!?!?

Meh, you want BT nerfed and some Killer perk buffed. There is like 85% useless perks on both sides. As you say, doing the Adept achievements typically showcases you how dumb most perks are. I realized I don't have Legion's despite having him P3, but two of his perks are worthless in almost every match. Iron Maiden has a short duration and Mad Grit only helps if they body block, I see A LOT less body blocking in the present.

Thats not what he said at all....re-read the post...

I agree with this, i have no problem with them dealing with ruin, i agree that it is OP when not found and useless when it is. But something needs to be done about gens first. I played 6 games in a row against SWF red ranks that were able to get 3 gens popped during the first chase. It's ridiculous.

Damn, I'm just now catching that this was a spirit game, and you had really good perks on. I can't even say its because of the killer you're playing because spirit is a god damn map presence god. And you had 2 people injured for a thano stack....not only that but your immediate downs were godlike....I don't even know what to say....

I dunno...these devs remind me so much of what happened with Evolve before it got shut down making everything survivor sided. I don't wanna think about it....but yeah....this sucks....

People are gonna call you out for camping, but if you didn't make that play the game was over.....

######### I could only imagine how badly a trapper player would do in this situation wasting time placing their traps....

  • @Reinami said:

Seriously, games without ruin are so much more stressful as a killer. I can't play fair anymore, i have to slug and tunnel or i lose the game. Every game i play without ruin 2-3 gens done before the first chase is over. Between the chase, pallet looping and finding the first survivor it easily takes 80 seconds. Something needs to be done before ruin is nerfed.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcDFyn25XXI

Seems pretty extreme....what killer are you playing?

  • I'm completely quiet when playing pig, but sometimes I make faces, or my *BREATHING INTENSIFIES* when Im about to land a hit. Or i'll giggle under my breath.

  • Dude you're twackin. You didn't have to say it, BHVR made it worse. You say in your own words, old ruin was bad, and I agree it was pretty trash for the benefit. BHVR then goes and makes it worse. You then get on forums talking about Baby killers and ITS A TOTEM PEOPLE!

And I'm asking you from your "Rank 1 experience btw" Justify the logic in an already trash totem....being even worse now?

    You got the answer?

Ok, now from that, we've already established that people are complaining about the Ruin Change. We've already established that Ruin was a trash hex to begin with that went down in the first 40 some odd seconds of a match anyway. Now think for a minute, put yourself in the shoes of people who actually use the perk, now ask yourself......"WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU NERF SOMETHING ALREADY TRASH?" <-----Then you'll figure out why people are complaining.

Think about it like this, lets take a perk like Monsterous Shrine, <-----Perk is already unanimously terrible, now....lets go and nerf it, cut all the numbers in half.... <-------AND YOU'RE TRYING TO TELL ME YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE ARE COMPLAINING OR COMPLAINING FOR THE WRONG REASON?!?!?!

  • @ClickyClicky said:

The thing is people act like killers are hard done by. Take my games to tonight as an example, I turn the game on and its black ward with ultra rare add on, followed by Ebony mori the next game and another mori the game after.

People forget that killers have so much up their sleeve they don’t need Ruin.

I just want a few casual games as solo survivor to rank up. Its hard when I’m going against this Bs all the time. Many killers dont play chilled, they play dirty like this.

At least with Ruin gone it helps a little bit.

You act like Survivors run around with instants and ultra rares every game....they don't. That stuff is expensive, not common, and cannot be equated to a perk slot.

  • @then4321 said:

To all the baby killers out there who are whining about the Ruin change, I think you are forgetting that it's a Hex totem. It's a TOTEM people!

Why are you complaining like it slowed down the entire match? "Oh poor me, I can't kill a single survivor without it, what will I ever do???"

In 80% of my survivor matches, the totem is broken in the first 30-60 sec. Now the killer lost their perk for the rest of the match, nothing, zip, nada.

I play killer as much as I do survivor. I stopped running Ruin about 4-5 months ago because of that exact reason, what good is Ruin if it's gone in a minute.

You can still moan about it if you want, but you do not know what you're moaning about.

Right.....so....because killers shouldn't use the hex because its bad(And I agree).....thats reason to make it worse? Failing to understand your logic on this one.....

  • I never played Ruin before because it died so fast within a match....and in some cases it didn't even matter that you had it on gens would still go off in record time.

And I'm probably not gonna bother with the perk now either since its worse off. So while I'm not mad (As a pig main mind you, gens popping wasn't exactly a disaster and she has one of the best gen pressure controls built into her kit.) if my main was wraith or Myers, or Bubba, ghostface or legion, I'd uninstall. These basic M1 killers and killers who don't have exensive map pressure or lead off objectives got HELLA boned. It was bad enough that if they ran the perk it was gonna break within 60 seconds anyway. Its even worse now since in those 60 seconds that it was active its not actually doing anything. As soon as you chase someone off a gen their buddies are right there anyway.

Hex perks.....as much as I love some of the effects they provide and the new build styles you can pull off with them, aren't worth running most of the time because of how easy they are to delete, leaving you powerless for the rest of the match. And thats where the real problem is.....like....outside of haunted ground.....these hexes aren't worth running in the big scheme of things, the benefits of having them don't outweight the cost of losing them for the rest of the game. And you're guaranteed to lose. So why take a bet on a loss?

  • @DwarvenTavern said:

No. Nothing against her, but NO. I hhhhaaaaattttttttteeeeeee the grudge. Scares the hell out of me

  • You start back over at level 1.

  • Saw this thread before checking out the hex ruin change.....

THIS IS LITERALLY THE MOST USELESS PERK IN THE GAME GET OUT....

Why? Because gen tapping exists. Kicking gens dude....just no. The amount of time you spend is negated by a single click, and in order to regress a gen you have to spend time away from tracking your targets to kick it. I don't even kick gens on my killers anymore its a waste of time, and I still get 4k's because I didn't waste time BSing with a gen and instead just kept the chases up non stop. Ain't nobody got time for this new ruin unless you're completely oblivious to how pop goes the weasel works, which is far superior in every way. And its a hex.....get out....

  • @Exerlin said:

I think if there was a killer specifically designed to have two people control two different bodies that would be cool, but being able to choose any two killers would be incredibly unbalanced and probably not very fun after the first couple rounds as survivor.

Or it could be brokenly hilarious with an army of people with flashlights and toolboxes to destroy hooks running around. Or imagine an army of gen rushers!!!

Or it would look like a broken version of this. Either way they'd have to balance a lot of the stacking debuffs to make it fair.

They would also have to maybe double the amount of lockers that spawned on that map, as well as just straight up disable certain tracking perks for killers in a mode like that.

It would look like this delicious display of chaos.

Just as an aside, they would have to rebalance pigs traps for this mode specifically cause uhhh.....you're not gonna have enough time to check 10 boxes LOL

But she definitely needed SOME changes to her basekit. Yes, of course Nurse requires a high degree of skill to use, BUT mistakes were very forgiving. Being able to pretty much repeatedly blink over and over with such little drawback was not healthy.

Thats demonstrably false. Making a mistake on old nurse was 10 times more punishing than missing a swing on say a wraith....or literally every other killer in the game.

If you miss and get stunned on nurse the window of opportunity for the survivor to grab enough distance and juke you again is huge, and can only be made up for by getting the next blink right, if you screw it up its GG. I've gone up against many a "noob" nurse player as survivor....and I suck at survivor btw, but its so easy to juke and embarrass low skill level nurse players it should be reportable as abuse....

  • @Kagrenac said:

She had it coming for years. She broke the game and was left a monstrosity for that entire time. There was NOTHING you could do to counter a Nurse player that knew what they were doing before the nerf.

Looping? Ineffective against a Nurse that knows how to counter jukes.

Stealth? Good luck with that considering every new release adds more and more perks to make it harder for survivors to hide.

Gen Rushing? Didn't work against a character that can zoom across the map at mach 5 every few seconds.

Even if you managed to juke her it didn't matter. Her blink would recharge and she would close that distance again. There has never been a killer as powerful as her and I'm glad she's been changed.

I don't believe in nerfing things that require a high amount of skill. And nurse is easily one of the hardest killers to play mechanically outside of maybe hillbilly.

A godlike player with a nurse will dominate....

But if you have so much as an ounce of suck in you, nurse will get embarrassed all game long.

The rest of the killers do not require many brain points to control, nor thought, nor guesswork.

Im impressed that theres another person aware of the stupidity of intentionally double teaming a sole survivor.

Same witht the "1 camps, 1 hunts" concern of the same crowd. It turns the game into a 1v7.

The most optimal way to kill people in this game is to hunt....NON STOP....no camping. I main pig so, ideally I have pressure built in to ditch hooks. Other killers would have to use perks for this or mobility but I digress.

In an 8 person setting, lets assume they doubled everything except except the amount of time it takes to knock out a gen. If you screw around for any amount of time at 80 seconds each gen....Its over....if people think gens popping left and right is fast on a SWF group gen rushing an extra 4 survivors would be like listening to a slot machine with the amount of pings going off....

You just gave me an idea! Just like you said: giant map, equipment, antennas, and such.

The survivors’ goal should be the construct complex devices capable of ensnaring the killers! Different parts work together in different ways allowing for creative mousetraps.

A free killer can try to break his buddy out of the trap, but it would take significant time and effort to do so (slashing away at cages or ropes). This is time the survivors can use to prepare another snare. If both killers get trapped, the displeased Entity punishes them and allows the remaining survivors to escape!

That would be a great idea for a sort of end game.

  • @yobuddd said:

I hate to pile on. I really tried to read this despite the wall of text, but I don’t think you used a single period the entire time! If that whole thing is meant to be one sentence, then I’m afraid my brain just can’t string the thoughts together after the first 3 lines.

As for the whole 2v8 thing, a huge problem I see with the concept is that survivors have no way to win chases. Loops, pallets, etc. If the killers work together to hunt a survivor, they can each go to a different side of the pallet or loop. The survivor is doomed. Nobody would ever play this mode as a survivor after the first week.

The only solution is make the killers move the same speed as (or slower than) survivors, but that would cause lots of other problems.

I can see one issue from 2 killers trying to double team 1 survivor.... gen pressure.

The more you try to cheese chases, the more survivors are scurrying around to kill gens. I honestly think they should try it out as a game mode even if it doesn't count toward rank, just for fun. There would obviously have to be some tweaks for instance the last time we had a multiple killer glitch, things like mend and terror radius would mess up.

I did not say to increase the timer, I said to have it pause as you kick the generator so you don't lose out on the affect. Like I mentioned, I still had about 3 seconds left on the timer and it ran out as I was in the middle of kicking the generator.

As @PigMainBigBrain mentioned, it is similar to how the mend action works. It pauses while you're mending so you can finish, but if you stop mending the timer continues to count down.

Yeah, that makes sense, You would think that the skill would work like that in the first place but maybe an oversight...

  • @Mercury said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/789227#Comment_789227

Give up, they are not going to grasp your concept. It would indeed be a nice QOL change OP and would just go along with other things already stopping their timer when a condition is met = Pig Trap timer stopping when in terrorradius, mending not going down when in terror radius. I don't see why they wouldn't be able to make the timer stop ticking, once you start to kick the generator.

Thats what it reminded me of! Mend! Before they changed mend it used to bug out and continue ticking as you were doing the mend animation even if your bar wasn't fully out and you'd pass out on the floor. They later made that condition pause so people could mend and the thing would pause as you're doing the animation to remove the debuff. Legion was op as ######### during that small phase of the game....like completely broken....

  • @[Deleted User] said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/789167#Comment_789167

Then you could just hold the perk in a 3-gen strat indefinitely be repeatedly kicking and canceling the animation on a lowly progress generator, so you can kick a highly progressed one again after it's been touched from already being kicked before. Effectively reducing progress by 50% in a one-two combo.

If you don't have level 3 of the perk, then that's on you. Level it up so you have more time next time, or again, kick a generator 2 seconds earlier. There's no map where even if you downed a survivor in the very corner, that you can't grab them, walk them further into the map, hook them, and not be able to kick the generator you want in over 40 seconds.

The perk isn't flawed because you didn't manage your time properly.

Do you guys NOT read the post? What the op is talking about makes perfect sense.

What he's saying is, that the timer deactivates even while you're in the middle of the animation thus losing out on the perk. It doesn't freeze the timer which would make sense when you start the animation and wait for you to completely kick the gen.

As in if your bar is 50% of the way before completing and the timer drops you lose out even if you finish the gen kick. It wouldn't be a bad quality of life change, and assume you don't complete the kick and break the animation it would count as the perk timing out devoiding it.

I don't understand why people aren't grasping what he's saying?

Actually, people have been saying his teleport is very annoying when only 3 gens are left, and with his ability to see survivors working on gens near portals with his killer instinct, it makes it ridiculously hard to complete one last gen of the three remaining gens, since he always knows on which gens survivors are working, and he can teleport to those gens very fast.

Freddy, Doc, and Plague can all do the same thing....I mean, if you get 3 genned you get 3 genned thats been a thing forever....

    just for clarification:

the reason why there is no beheading is, because BHVR would have to design a headless body for each individual piece of body clothing survivors have, which would just be a huge amount of unnecessary work, therefore they dont do it.

its the same reason as why the hags mori does not include a ripped open body with organs hanging out.

That makes more sense than goofy made up junk about censorship....

In case no one has noticed yet, our characters don't even have ragdoll physics.

You'll have to look that up yourself, all I know is that Germany, and Australia, are strict asf.

Well by that logic Australia Germany and China are not allowed to play Left 4 Dead, Dying Light, or basically any zombie game ever, they aren't allowed to play Mortal Kombat, Borderlands, Saints Row, Terraria, Diablo, Path of exile..... I could keep going but literally by this logic, Australia Germany and China would be locked out of a majority of games available...ever.....

I think we should wait some more days before jumping to that conclusion. Just like survivors probably will still be able to adapt a bit to the shred ability of Demogorgon, his teleport could have more potential than some think. I personally feel like it could be really good. Especially with the Undetectable status effect the Demogorgon gets whenever he uses his teleports.

For stealth killers, sure this idea is great in theory....but it also requires you to know that the survivor is near that area....and also requires you to prelaunch and preprep that area. I'm not sure about the detection radius of these things but they seem short as hell. Like by default i think you have to be pretty much standing on top of them to be detected....which is pretty bad....which means the detection half of his power doesn't work without an add on or a survivor standing directly on top of the portal...

Wow, can definitely see this getting some kind of nerf. Hopefully not, from what I've been hearing Demo looks really fun.

Just played him around for a bit.....he's definately not pig....or any other standard M1 killer. I mean you can go that route but....using his power properly and not playing yourself is gonna be a tough one. Its like the hillbilly without the 1 shot. You can easily play yourself since the power only goes in a straight line. Now this isn't considering purple add ons or pinks or whatever, I don't use those to judge viability.

You basically get free tracking of survivors near generators, assuming you place your traps properly....the catch is, you need to have 1 trap available to yourself to mosey your lummox ass down to the place where you see survivors in tracking range. Now assuming you have to guard multiple spots....he's definitely not freddy tier in this regard...#########...gets....difficult.

I would honestly rate him below pig, and even doctor. He's not easy, and going to be considerably add on reliant and skill based. But your skill can only go so far with him so....he could be sub pig tier some days, and hillbilly tier other days depending on the person behind the wheel. If you're not good behind the wheel, this killer is not good, which is where it should be. This isn't some auto reward killer like Legion was on initial release. People are gonna find out real quick, you may be better off not using his power in some chases unless theres no pallets nearby and no window vaults and no corners.....

My recommendations on him....skip the tracking slot perk....skip the mobility perks...focus on on hit builds that slow the game down....just a little bit. Or double down on mobility and take stuff like play with your food. Exposed is also a good synergy with his power....assuming you can get one via perk or otherwise. Gen protection builds could work in theory assuming you had enough time to cover spots and teleport around. But he's just like spirit or any other killer without build in slows or odd interactions like dream world or doc shock. If you don't end your chases fast you're gonna get rushed....
