  • Ur hard pressed to find a patch that didn't contain nerfs to Surviviors.

  • The idea would nerf Nurse.

Let's see how many people are on board with it now.

Why would you be able to earn it back it did it’s purpose it stopped the tunnel? It didn’t say hey slug, or wait 60 seconds it rewards you for not tunneling and punishes those for tunneling?

Bc the nerf ur proposing for it would demolish it as a perk. You could Camp a survivor, hooktrade, and down the guy who got camped and he'd have no way to escape 2nd state, just bc you hooktraded doesn't mean you didn't tunnel that guy. It just means you had an extra hook to apply.

If you slug what’s your plan wait a full minute while the other 3 do gens or chase someone while one of the other survivors gets that person up?

A slug=a hook in map pressure. You can slug them and go chase down other Surviviors, you can slug and camp the slug until the timer runs out, you can do a lot of things.

And if you aren't Tunnelling someone, you shouldn't have to wait a full 60 seconds before you can pick them up. The only time you'd have to wait a full minute to pick up a Survivior and evade decisive Is if you went back to them and downed them the second they became unhooked, which is defined as Tunnelling (which is something decisive strike is meant to punish you for doing since it's a pretty toxic move.) So in your scenario ur describing, ur complaining that a Tunnelling killer Is getting punished by a perk designed to punish Tunnelling. Idk what you want me to say here other than "duh".

If Decisive strike shut off after the killer hooks someone else, then the Survivior should be able to earn it back by saving that Survivior.

  • @TLToInfinity said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/608779#Comment_608779

So your saying slug instead of implementing a easy simple fix, where if you tunnel you get d strike, but if you don’t, you don’t get punished by a perk that is in the top 3 perks in the game usage.

Slugging isn't an easy fix? I didn't know they could D strike you while on the ground.

Simple solution to a simple problem. If you think the Survivior has Decisive strike, do not pick them up after you down them until ur positive a minute has passed since the unhook. If you have a hard time keeping track, run MYC. The duration is the same as D strikes timer.

  • They won't. Most of the complaints about him are just people not adjusting to the growing pains of playing against him.

This new Freddy reminds me of the first time I played against a Trapper. I am too horrified to even walk when I hear a heartbeat bc u know there's a trap somewhere waiting to screw you over.

  • Imagine thinking Decisive strike is still OP. It has a counter. Don't tunnel. Wanna tunnel anyways? Slug or pay the price.

  • @oke said:

I am just proving that Omegablink is beyond OP and that it DEFINITELY needs a nerf.

Btw, just to clarify - the footage is from last season, where I played in ranks 1-2 mainly. I didn't even use Omegablink on my rank 16 to 1 run, because I thought it would be too easy. I wasn't able to record my run, because OBS randomly caused my PC to freeze for a few seconds, which would lag out all the survivors.

Except that's not the title of ur post. Ur title was "Nurse isn't that hard and yes she's OP". Ur trying to prove Nurse is OP by running Omega, which everyone knows already is OP. If you wanna prove something, you aren't doing it.

Right, entitled. You big, big, brain you.

You keep telling me how I think and how I feel.

Must be working real well for you to have everyone figured out.

IF and I mean IF I run noed its because I enjoy the freak out, it makes little toxic SWF groups run for the effing hills. It keeps my games fast. If they played correctly they wouldnt be getting slugged, but no, they had to treat this as some kind of exhibition. It has nothing to do with kills. I can get Brutal Killer with no kills. I dont care about kills. Its about sending a message to any little snit who thinks they are going to be the next Toxic-Youtuber-Twitch-Lulz-personality. Run for the effing door and get out of my game.

But that is IF i use it.

Normally Its overkill on the Killers I use and I dont like running totems.

Im a Make Your Choice killer myself.

"I'm not an entitled killer. Now let me tell you about how every time I run Noed it's to teach every Survivior to not ######### with me bc this is MY game and these are MY kills."

    Ingenious.

Killers don't have to play "fair" for your enjoyment. Why do people not understand this? It's not the goal of the killer to sit around with their thumb up their ass waiting for the survivor to choose the gen or pallet they think suits their teabagging the best, it's to kill. They kill by slugging and hooking survivors. If you don't like that Killers actively try to kill instead of gambling on survivors using whatever perks to suit your terrible gameplay, go find another game to play.

    Oh you sweet thing.

If you aren't gonna call a spade a spade there's nothing more to say to you. If you think that so much as 1 dull totem slipping through the cracks means that the Surviviors are genrushing T bagging dickweeds who deserve the instadown you are handed on a silver platter, then I'm sad to tell you that you srsly need ur head examined by someone who isn't the doctor bc clearly he shocked something in there.

Killers run it bc they feel entitled to kills. They don't run it bc they know they'll get T bagged or D striked. They run it bc they feel "I deserve the kills I get on Surviviors who beat me. And this perk will make that job easier".

It's gross. And it makes me hate the killer main community, which is rly sad bc I main killer.

I'm gonna say it's entirely balanced. As many have pointed out, cleanse totems. Simple, efficient. Learn totem spawns and check them. Sure, you won't be able to gen rush, but it'll save you time at the end of the game if noed can't even proc because all the totems are gone. That to me seems like fair counter play. If the killer notices the totems being cleansed, they can choose to stop visiting gens and try to find whoever is breaking totems, also wasting killer time, so, it all seems pretty fair imo. If you don't want to waste time looking for a totem because it isn't fun, that is your choice but it doesn't mean that noed needs a rework or a nerf. Just my opinion.

Okay congrats to you. Here's my adrenaline counter, kill the Surviviors. Do ur job.

It isn't the fault of the Surviviors that they get hit with Noed if they did make an effort to cleanse it but were unsuccessful. As long as literally 0 emphasis is given to doing totems, there's no reason to do them. If ur seriously gonna tell me that if Surviviors cleanse 4/5 totems, then the one that slips through the cracks means the Surviviors are toxic genrushing dick weasels who deserve every insta down and facecamp they get? Yeah no I'mma have to call that bullshit. How about this. If all 5 gens slip through the killers fingers before he can land a single hit, that guy Shouldn't get to have his "I'm entitled to these kills" perk.

Not all windows are foolproof. Look at ironworks of misery and tell me that has a good counter besides bamboozle. You can't predict when you get ironworks.

You also can't predict when the killer runs Noed yet every single Survivior is somehow expected to run small game to counter it. Yet conversely also hated bc they dared to cleanse the totems to prevent Noed.

You also can't predict when the killer runs Prayer Beads Spirit so you can run Spine chill to stand a fighting chance against her, yet somehow Prayer beads hasn't been nerfed despite how overpowered it is.

You can't predict when the killer runs EndFury until the black spider legs of Chthulu are crushing the pallet you beat the killer at before your very eyes as the killer lands the free hit they get for losing a mindgame. Bc a lot of people run enduring now bc of the buff it got against pallets, not everyone runs Spirit fury.

You can't predict a lot of things. That doesn't mean they're OP

  • @Chocolate_Cosmos said:

My recent games with any killer on purple ranks are offten "genrushed". I don't of course blame Survivors for that lol, that's their objective, but there is also another side objective: Totems.

I played a lot of slow down perks (Ruin, Pop Goes, etc.) and still some games I got "genrushed" anyway. So I started to play NOED instead of slow down perks and I have to say: I love it!

You can avoid NOED by doing totems --> less time on Generators --> longer games = less frustation for Killers. OR you can "genrush" and avoid doing dull totems as usual and risk that you get punished for it.

AND If you will get killed or downed by NOED, you can only blame yourself because there is very simple counter play to it: JUST. DO. TOTEMS.

Surviviors don't have to play slow for your enjoyment. Why do people not understand this? It's not the goal of the Survivior to sit around with their thumb up their ass waiting for the killer to choose the hook they think suits their chest the best, it's to survive. They survive by doing the gens. If you don't like that Surviviors actively try to survive instead of gambling on you using a perk to salvage your terrible gameplay, go find another game to play.

  • @Liruliniel said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/607347#Comment_607347

Honestly the counter ability is simple. You dont loop like normal. You drop the pallet early to prevent the Spirit Enduring Combo. If you believe that they have it then it's easy to drop early. Most people seem to forget that squeezing out that very last loop is bad if you know they have it. The difference in being efficient and foolish with that combo can be interchangeable.

Except my gripe is that if you know they have it, your only counterplay is to quite literally play like you don't know how to loop. The whole reason killers run EndFury is to punish Surviviors for Landing the pallet stun, which is one of the reasons killers respect pallets. If you drop the pallet prematurely like ur suggesting all the killer does is break the pallet and either Bloodlust you to death or force you to the next loop where you gotta do the same thing. It forces you to play worse bc it will end badly for you if you do otherwise.

Honestly the only thing I'd want is for there to be a clear way to tell if the killer is running Spirit fury.

Its honestly a vicious cycle of nerfs/buffs.

Killers need x perk nerfed because too strong

    Perk x is now nerfed

Survivors now need perk Y nerfed because perk x was holding it back.

Perk Y now gets nerfed as Does Pig and Billy gets Buff.

With Perk Y nerfed and Billy now buffed due to infectious fright. A call for Perk Z to be nerfed presents itself.

Pig sits in a corner with slight nerfs *not salty at all* People proceed to call for nerfs or buffs on stuff that wont matter. The community should band together for the weaker perks/killers to be buffed to a viable playable level so everything is viable at all ranks this way the viability of the game still has some level of uniqueness.

I mean on this issue I think there should be more counterplay to EndFury since it's a really powerful combo and the counterplay is quite literally just "play like a rank 20" but a flat nerf I don't think so.

  • @ABannedCat said:

So survivors now want to nerf a 2 perk-combo that has a 100% foolproof counter?

    ######### hell this community ...

Killers want to nerf decisive strike when it has a foolproof counter. They want to nerf windows when they have a foolproof counter. This isn't a one sided thing

  • I play stealth when I play Survivior. If I am afraid I get spotted by the killer I usually just run and instaheal

  • Yeah I'm a Nurse main and thank God for this rework. Killers and Surviviors have been bitching since the dawn of time about how she ruins the game for everyone so maybe with this they'll finally shut the ######### up

Who the hell expressly and notable asked for the specific change that was made to MoM?

Who expressly and notably asked for the specific change that was made to DS?

This is the thing: the survivors lobby for specific changes and more often than not, they get exactly what they asked for. The devs alone decided on what changes happened to MoM and DS, certainly not taking killers views into account, only survivors. It's weird that instead of a straight nerf, it was re-designed to influence killers behaviour, not survivors. There is every chance that MoM might re-emerge as a strong perk when someone discovers a good use of it, it just won't be quick because surviors react in knee-jerks and just dropped it when it was changed.

When killers think something needs nerfing, there are discussions but no consensus on what the change should be forms, because we tend to be focused on holistic concerns about the state of the entire game, which don't cough up easy answers. The devs don't engage either, so we're not prompted to discuss in terms of what can be delivered and on what time-scale. If the devs don't engage in this kind of discussion, eventually it will be lost and killers will become exactly like survivor-mains.

That's bc the ideas that killers bring forth for changes like DS was "only 1 of you gets to use it and the rest of u wasted a perk slot. Sry. Better luck next time" or "just remove it entirely". There was never any cohesive idea on how to change decisive strike on the killers end of things so they didn't get what their entitled crybabies asked for.

What specific change did Surviviors get when they bitched? What specific change did they lobby for and get? Legion nerf? Did anybody that come up with Legions rework say "remove his ability to see blood in Frenzy"? This is such an ignorant and nativist statement. It just further perpetuates that Surviviors are the enemy.

  • I've heard killers ######### about Nurse just as much as Surviviors.

  • We have a Wendigo style killer in the form of Hag.

Pennywise is probably the killer I'd want to see the most but if we get a Wendigo, we need to get either Sam or Mike from Until Dawn (because spoiler alert, Sam and Mike are the only characters that cannot die until the grand finale of the game)

  • Calling it. Remove all extra blinks add ons except Campbells, rework Campbells into fragile wheeze, and then nerf range add ons by 25-50% and/or remove their ability to stack.

Base Nurse is fine. It's when her strong add ons come in that make her overwhelming

  • If that happens you got read like a book tbh

there is no skill in using a much superior fov and smaller hitboxes, I am an average looper and I can waste plenty of killer's time in a wide variety of maps.

It is bad map design, NOT skill LOL

Really bc even one tiny slip while looping can result in you going down. Ur superior FOV is to give you a stab at surviving the chase.

  • @DBDbuildsYT said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/596265#Comment_596265

This is because you are a biased survivor main, looping allows you to verse the entirety of your opposing team on your own.

That's a problem with the balance of the game, you are not the hero of the story, you are not supposed to verse the killer and win, at similar skill levels.

You are supposed to be given the chance to escape by using your number advantage.

And if a lot of loopy loppers would leave, there may be more prole coming because the game is a horror game not a joke like it is now.

All of your lobbying brought dbd to be in this situation where basically every killer is designed to try and counter the parasitic entity known as looping

Dude...are you seriously advocating for less skill expression to be among Surviviors? Big. Fat. Lmao.

Looping is pretty much the only reliable way Surviviors have to live against the killer. And looping the killer for every pallet in the game does absolutely jack ######### if you don't have a team that's doing the objective. This game should not be what it appears ur advocating for, which is "killer finds Survivior. Survivior should have no chance after that". You act like one of those killer mains who think that the only role for Surviviors is to find their favorite hook and wait for the killer to come by to see if they deserve that one or not.

  • @lasombra1979 said:

This has been posted in the past a few times by other people and gets ignored each time. The screams to nerf the Nurse come and die out, then come back a few months later. It was a quiet topic for a while here because of the Legion rage. Ghostface did not create any rage, so back to hating the Nurse.

This. In all honesty without gutting her or reworking her there will always be complaints that she's OP. She's just that killer that everyone fills in with "man I hate..." When there isn't anything to ######### about

  • @Ember_Hunter said:

My main problem? Whenever I try out a new killer(Nurse recently), I get toxic cocky survivors say stuff like "EZ CLAP" "BABI NURSE GG EZ" "Don't you know you're supposed to hook us?" "LMAO"

T-bagging at pallets for no reason then disconnecting when I down them

Doing gens and letting me yoink them, then they disconnect for being potatoes.

Running around like an idiot behind me and suiciding on hook when I hook them

Gen Rushing when I am playing respectful killer and being called an EZ killer noob

So do you want me to hook you all and kill you all and also put on NOED to satisfy your salty butts? Do you want me to insidious camp? Want me to summon ebony moris for you guys? >:(

And whenever I use a (slightly) toxic build, I get cute new survivors that I am forced to spare. It's not fair when I don't know when to activate toxic mode or respectful killer mode. :(

(Take note that I hook everyone twice and slug people to let them escape, unless someone is toxic in-game)

This! This this this this this this this. I'm fine being an Ebony Mori insidious basement camping Nurse with Omegablink, but only if the Surviviors are sandbagging T baggers with 2 battery add ons to click spam me to insanity

  • If you don't like decisive strike there is a foolproof answer to it.

Don't tunnel Surviviors off the hook

  • Yes bc if they decide they wanna bully my Ghosty-goo, then I'mma flip to Nurse and paint the Crotus Prenn Asylum in their blood

  • Really killers? Ur gonna complain that SWF is unwinnable and unbalanced yet we have Nurse?????? Srsly? Not all SWF are good first of all. Second of all, I'm sure all SWF groups will tell you that they are scared shitless of a good enough Nurse.

Also here's the other thing. Don't ######### about lobby times taking forever if ur gonna dodge lobbies

  • Here's the way I've always said it. Altruism kills. Do what benefits you the most. If you serve to benefit from saving a Survivior on the hook then save them. If it doesn't benefit you that they Survive (which is almost always untrue) then usually abandoning them is the smart decision.

Play for yourself, but don't forget that you can't take down the killer by yourself and you need help to do it. The quote on Bond is very accurate. "I need you to survive so I can survive"

  • Not every map needs to be The Game in size. Besides Yamaokas isn't necessarily big. It's very long.

  • @prayer_survivor said:

Why killers don't ask for redesign of The Game map?

At high ranks gens are going to get completed no matter how much you pressure them as killer, that’s just the reality of facing skilled survivors.

Do some survivors really think completing all 5 gens means they get a free escape and if they die after that they died to a bad killer? I must be a terrible killer then.

Granted I don’t use NOED much, I prefer Rancor.

That's not the issue. The issue is that you get a speed boost and an instant down and the trigger for that was you LOSING.

I remember a swath of killer mains coming out saying decisive strike was a truckload of horseshit bc it rewarded Surviviors for LOSING.

I remember a swath of killer mains coming out and saying Mettle of man was a truckload of bullshit bc it rewarded Surviviors for LOSING.

But when Noed does the same thing? Radio. Silence. You lost your secondary AND primary objective while the Surviviors only lost their secondary. You did less than the Surviviors if NOED triggers, which means you didn't earn the benefits the perk gives you.

It's like I said a while ago "anyone here that defends Noed is honestly gonna tell me that if so much as 1 dull totem slips through the cracks then the killer deserves a speed boost and instadown even if the Surviviors did the Generators? ######### that, that's as much of a crutch as old decisive strike"

Not really. You can also be outclassed by swf. You cant say a rank 14 is playing poor vs a rank 1 in swf. You can argue this point with "leave chase etc" but they might not know to do that yet

That scenario is matchmaking at it's worst. But if that was true then no, that rank 1 SWF should escape vs a rank 14 killer. End of story.

    But was that fair?

Taking the fun out for the whole playerbase, just some addons were so strong, that they could even count as exploits?

How would you act, if your favorite killer gots reworked like that, or survivors?

What would you say, if bhvr would remove keyboard keys from the table of survivors, so that you only can move with your mouse (like in wow, when you are to lazy or sleepy, to actual use your keyboard and just move with your mouse^^)?

That you don't have deserve this, because you were always a non-toxic, fair playing and non-exploit using survivor?

Well... Welcome in our world :).

######### are you on? Bc whatever ur smokin I probably need in on it to get through the next few months at my awful ass job.

Yes Legion mains who exploited the monster that he used to be don't get to have fun doing it anymore. You know why? Bc old Legion was no fun for 80% of the people in every game involving him. You were hard pressed to find any Survivior who liked being Tunnelled down with Frank's mixtape not being able to do anything about it bc of his ungodly MS in FF. You were hard pressed to find a Survivior who liked 10 minute mending times. You were hard pressed to find a Survivior who liked still getting hit at loops they won at. You were hard pressed to find Surviviors who liked the idea of old Legion and you were hard pressed to find any non-Legion main who didn't sympathize with them.

Ur fun was at the expense of everyone else so you don't get to have your broken character anymore. Sorry you don't like that, but it's for the better.

Survivor makes a mistake it's okay you get another chance. Killer makes a mistake your entire power gets removed and you get stunned for 5 seconds and it's called proper counterplay.

What second chances still exist for Surviviors that can't be countered? Unbreakable? Don't slug. Decisive? Don't tunnel. Borrowed time? Don't camp. Mettle of Man? Don't give them protection hits. Dead hard? Bait it and it works once at best.

  • @JawsIsTheNextKiller said:

Hillbilly can sprint at 230% speed, cancels his chainsaw: barely any stun, chainsaw again almost immediately

Legion can sprint at 130% speed (or somewhere around that number), cancels their power: stun for 4 seconds

    Both balanced are they?

No. But that's bc Billy is OPAF.

  • If anything, missing an attack triggering you to lose Frenzy is about the stupidest thing anyone can complain about.

Spirit doesn't get her power back if she flubs it. Does she? Nurse still gets fatigue stunned even if she hits doesn't she? Huntress doesn't get her hatchets back if she misses, does she?

All of the 0 counterplay aspects to Legion were removed and it's for the better. Any aspect of Legion that was removed was good to be removed. Missing an attack during frenzy is a screwup. And if you screw up, you deserve to be punished for it.

What kind of crazed survivor entitlement trip are you going on? I get that you're so self centered that you think exploit sprint burst and free escape DS should be part of your kit, but Borrowed Time has been buffed 3 times since it got nerfed to a balanced state.

    You're derailing.

I like the idea of SB having more agency to it (having more control over when it triggers since most exhaustion perks are best when they trigger mid chase) but this bug goes a little far. It's an exploit that I think merits punishment but ur 100% derailing

  • @[Deleted User] said:

New killer gets released = OP pls nerf. Done.

Sorry but to claim that only survivors get nerfed is nonsense to say the least.

I'm sorry but where does Nurse still stand after god knows how long since her release?

Or Spirit/Clown/Ghostface who all got buffed when on the PTB? Ghosty-goo literally getting love taps that were inconsequential to his balance state?

Or Noed which got buffed to have expose on all 3 tiers?

Meanwhile what do Surviviors get? BHVR has pretty much handled them with "it's nerf or nothing". Exhaustion perks? nerfed. Decisive strike? nerfed. Mettle of man? gutted. Flashlights? gutted. Window vaulting? Nerfed. Stealth? gutted. Healing times? Nerfed. Sabotage? Gutted.

Whether these nerfs were needed or not is irrelevant. Pretending that Surviviors don't bear the brunt of the nerf bat just bc killers get tapped here and there is asinine

  • @Tzeentchling9 said:

Want to take about how Freddy was destroyed in a week? Or how how Survivors got Tinkerer obliterated? Or how they got Myers and all his perks destroyed? Or the absolute refusal to even try get good against Legion?

Hell, we haven't seen a viable Killer since the Devs openly mocked players for coming to a conclusion from a PTB "too quickly" and then in the end giving the Spirit all the buffs that were found she needed only "two hours into the PTB."

Freddy I concede but his rework is necessary even if he was never nerfed.

Tinkerer? Seriously?? Do you not remember the OLD instasaw? Flashlights were nerfed bc they had no counterplay, instasaw was LITERALLY no counterplay.

And ur seriously gonna complain about old Legion not being a thing anymore? I'mma quote someone else "if you think old Legion was good for the health of the game, then you aren't good for the health of the game". Old Legion was a trashy, no counterplay, lazily designed, exploit ridden piece of crap and simply nerfing the exploits would have made him even more garbage compared to Nurse, Spirit, or Billy.

  • I'm fine with an Adrenaline nerf.

But Noed needs to be gutted in response.

  • @Usui said:

Killer mains don't want to admit she's overpowerd (and has been since release) because they refuse to get better at the game period.

What an ignorant statement. You are aware Nurse is among the hardest killers in the entire game to master, right? You literally HAVE to be good to be a good Nurse.

  • (preface: I HAVE NEVER PLAYED SURVIVOR in any of the time I've played..

A lot of these statements are just full of ######### and shortsighted. Exhaustion perks were nerfed a long time ago. Window vaulting was just ######### 8 ways to Sunday by the last change to fast vaults. Pallet spawns were nerfed. D strike was nerfed so hard it needed buffed the next patch. Mettle of Man was just gutted into uselessness. Legions rework was considered a buff by anyone who didn't abuse his previous incarnation. Freddy's rework is considered a buff since it actually GIVES him a power. Pigs nerf was meant to address an issue of Pig's banking on their traps for endgame, which the devs said isn't what the traps were intended to.

Enduring was changed so that killers couldn't use it to negate D strike, giving them an opportunity to tunnel, which D strike is one of the few perks designed to counter it.

Killers more often than not get preferential treatment from the devs. Saying otherwise isn't a difference of opinion, it's just ignorant.

  • I mean hey we don't have to hate each other just bc there's one thing we can't agree on @DudeDelicious.

  • A lot of people when they play killer have the mindset of "I see Survivior I chase Survivior o no why other Surviviors do that Generator while I chase dis one Survivior o no I hope I bring Noed bc dey genrushing they did a gen while I was chasing Survivior".

Sometimes chasing ISN'T what benefits you. Map control is what you need as a killer. Yes the generators get done too quickly especially with prove thyself and purple toolboxes, but you nerf gen progress and what did you just do? You solved an issue of 2-3 gens Popping mid chase, but you just ruined soloq and made playing as killer substantially easier, and it will make killers that already have amazing map pressure (Nurse, Billy, Spirit) even better.

Learn when to not chase Surviviors. Yes ur goal is to kill them, but it's also to prevent the gens from getting done.

    @PickCollins

But you make a point that a killer should fulfil MORE requirements in order to gain an ability/function that can help them turn things around whilst in a circumstance whereby they are LOSING. Ergo survivors shouldn’t have access to extra chances or saving graces UNLESS they too are also actually losing, not winning or still indeterminable which side is closer to victory.

Except that's NOT what I'm saying. What I am saying is that instadowns are incredibly impactful, and therefore the trigger for them should be either A.) Earned by the killer (Devour hope. Myc, etc). B.) Anchored on a short time limit (Myers tier 3, Haunted ground) and C.) NOT PROVIDED AS A DO OVER.

Noed fulfills category C in the bad way. It's given to killers who do not fulfill their jobs. Forget dull totems, as long as there is no emphasis on doing them aside from the Spectre of Noed, Surviviors have an excuse to not cleanse them. Killers have to fail BOTH of their core objectives to let Noed trigger. Surviviors have to fail 1. Killers fail harder than Surviviors in the event Noed triggers. Automatically that makes it a crutch perk for killers.

(I'm guessing you main killer so correct yhis assumption if it's wrong and I'm sorry if it is) but you and other killer mains sit here and argue that Surviviors get too many second chance perks. Like...lmao?

Deliverance requires good gameplay, Unbreakable requires you be slugged. D strike and BT require you get tunnelled and camped. MoM requires you tank 3 protection hits. Any good second chance perk was either gutted or reworked to make it counter toxic gameplay. Meanwhile Noed was...left alone. Bc it is supposed to match adrenaline, which requires the survivors actually win their objective in order to get it.

@PickCollins But based on what though?

    An opinion?

By your logic if the killer is LOSING and needs to have EARNED the perks activation in order for a chance to turn things around, then if survivors are losing and need to turn things around then Deliverance should require more saves before it becomes active, Unbreakable needs more prerequisites and should only be active within the last available seconds of the dying state, Borrowed Time & Decisive Strike should only be applicable when the survivors are losing AND be completely disabled after all gens are repaired (because they’re already winning), exhaustion perks should only be available after a certain amount of saves or repairs and still only be active if the survivor would be on their death hook. See where i’m going?

Deliverance rewards you for altruistic gameplay and for not being the first one hooked.

Unbreakable I could see needing some changes to trigger.

Borrowed time and D strike require the survivor to be a victim of toxic killers, ergo the requirements for it to trigger are fine. You only get hit with BT and D strike when you deserve to get hit by it.

Exhaustion perks are what give Surviviors the chance to survive chases and they've been nerfed already. They're fine.

None of what you said here makes any sense. The comparable action that Surviviors have to instadowns is instaheals, and every instaheal that Surviviors have access to either:

    A. Require Surviviors to win their primary objective for survival (adrenaline).

    B. Have a significant drawback (styptics and syringes. Will destroy ur medkit).

Meanwhile the comparable equivalent to instaheals that Surviviors have access to, killers have a bigger abundance of. Noed has no drawback in the perk aside from that it can be cleansed. Instaheals can be countered by Plague/Franklin's. Adrenaline is countered by not losing. MYC is countered by hook bombing, haunted ground is countered by not doing Totems. Devour hope is countered by doing totems. There's more but I really don't wanna dig into it.

See what I mean? Instaheals have either a requirement of good gameplay or carry a penalty. Instadowning in the case of Noed doesn't reward good gameplay, and doesn't carry an inherently penalty
