Nope. That would make sloppy butcher annoying as hell to fight against.

Still though what kind of mechanic is that also I never use the yellow bottles they are useless
Yellow bottles are far from useless. At loops 10% speed is huge when combined with the tonic and makes pretty much all loops unsafe unless you pre drop. The activation delay is used so you can get the speed boost after the survivor runs through the grey cloud

Ya and there pointless they give survivors haste why would you use it and also it’s delayed to use ….
Only if you’re bad at him will they give survivors a speed boost

My man is using one perk of course he isn’t going to win at high MMR

- Make the antidote take 0.5 seconds less to activate.
- @Phasmamain had a really good idea in which there would be separate ammo, 4 tonics and 1 antidote, but the antidote would recharge every 10 seconds. I absolutely love the idea and prefer it over simply separating the ammo.
- Change some of his add-ons. I made a thread on the changes I would make to his add-ons, as well as some changes to his base-kit.
I’m flattered :)
But yeah with your ideas. The antidote taking 2 seconds to activate is perfect and updates to his add ons would be nice. It rather he not become a meta killer due to his low skill floor but I think would put him where he should be

I opt for nerfing IW instead

If the map is so bad you could escape it before all gens were done I’d say yes

People buy them because they are licensed. They’re going to buy Freddy Krueger because he’s Freddy Krueger simple as

It’s the fatigue animation. Problem is that has to be there otherwise escaping her would be hard

Hit knifes better I guess? There isn’t much to him other than that

Expecting BHVR to fix something is the same as expecting pigs to fly.
Except that Pigs have a chance of flying (if you got this reference).
BHVR fixing something? Not so much.
Well they fixed the cosmetic bug at least! Oh wait that was actually cool :(

I give it to Jeff and Tapp players only

This is another example of a wrongly adjusted mentality. Dead By Daylight is a game of hide seek (developers own words, by their own recent video).
You are not SUPPOSED to be chased. Chasing is supposed to be the last resort. And is supposed to end in downs (hence the bloodlust mechanic intention).
Then why does the majority of the community want to be chased. Surely if the stealth was well designed then more people would enjoy it?

Killer design is not, and CANNOT revolve around what Survivors find fun. Killers do not exist for your enjoyment. They are not hired clowns for your kid's birthday party, even if a lot of Survivors treat them as such.
Yes but as an asymmetrical game it should be fun for both sides especially when they are interacting. The only time killers and survivors interact is during a chase
-
Jane because obvious reasons and Jeff because I relate to him

Yea... to counter Looping not anti-Loop... IMO there is a difference
Are they not the same thing? Ds is anti tunnelling but the killer can still tunnel you anyway. It just buys you extra time.

But the Clown doesn't stop the loop from happening... he can be looped just like any other Killer in this game
Neither does Nemesis, Hag, Huntress and so on and so forth
I’ll agree with that to an extent. But these killers from my view were clearly designed to counter looping just like nurse was made to counter infinites

DS is not anti-tunnel It's I'm bad at this game and need an extra LIFE LOL or I like to hop in lockers and troll killers build!
The devs have literally balanced it to be anti tunnel

I think you're misunderstanding the MMR section. They're referring to time spent chasing. You could empirically quantify time spent in a chase, you can't quantify "Looping".
Also, @WesCravenFan is right.
Time spent chasing is directly related to time spent looping. Killers like clown are designed specifically to stop people from running around pallets multiple times therefore are “anti loop” by design

It is relevant, because the Survivor complaints act like BHVR is somehow screwing them over on purpose for a mechanic they themselves didn't create. BHVR has actually acknowledged tunnelling as a mechanic. I've seen developers actually refer to DS as an anti-tunnel perk. I've never, EVER seen one say that running around the same rock fourteen times is a factor in ongoing game design.
It is. Why do you think they make loops the way they do. Or during the most recent QnA during the MMR section they directly mention looping has no Impact on MMR
They are well aware and design the game around it
-
@WesCravenFan said:
There are no "anti-loop" killers. There are killers with strong chase powers, that happen to be good against Survivors that attempt to loop. Anti-loop implies that running around the same tile over and over and over and over again was an intended game design that the developers built the game around.
They didn't.
That is why so many survivors get pissy when they can't loop a killer like say, Nemesis. They think they are entitled to a looping playstyle and therefore anything that threatens that is somehow bad design on BHVRs part.
They still deny looping and are therefor “anti loop” just like DS is “anti tunnel”.
Whether or not looping is intended is irrelevant
-
Yeah I miss @Boss tbh
-
I thought BT was terrible. 15 seconds of invincibility when the killer is already chasing someone else? Useless I thought

Nurse. She’s been a design failure since day 1

That sounds a bit better than a validation, if they do it right this time.
Which, knowing BHVR....they wouldn't.
Yeah that’s what I’m worried about. Tbh slinger and tricksters hitboxes are fairly decent so at least they have a better base they could work off

They'll go through walls if huntress is bad or didn't deserve the hit. If you got your hit - you got it. It's time to stop huntresses being carried by bullshit hits
Why not just change the hitbox slightly? Hit validation hasn’t been the most successful thing ever and would this imply adding it to plague, slinger and trickster too?
-
Sounds good on paper but it would probably end up making hatchets go through walls
-
Yes it is but buffing it too much would make stacking regression even stronger and more meta
-
What’s your opinion on nemesis might I ask?
-
Being asleep has so little punishment there’s no point
-
That I won’t be able to blame my losses on it :)
-
Good job. I quit the game awhile ago and have been feeling much better for it

Do you even realise how absurd that statement is ? You can't "bait" flashlight saves against survivors that have half a brain. It works against bad to average survivors who have no idea how to save properly, clicky clicky at the exit gates because they abuse SWF to feel like they are good at the game and that i 4k on my freddy with no perks or add ons. Against good survivors who will wait for you to start the animation it is just not possible. It takes 1 second to blind and the pick up animation locks you in for 2 seconds easily. And you won't always have a wall to face, i get blinded at 90 degree at some points even. And if you get that pickup, sometimes you have to make this ######### annoying thing where you have to navigate to the hook while constantly moving your pov to avoid blinds.
Flashlight saves in their current state are too frustrating and too impactful for how little effort they take.
Then why are flashlights widely considered the worst item in the game?

How can? Quentin has the most improvement update, along with Kate & Jake
I don’t know. There was a weird charm to his old face and I felt like it captured the essence of Quentin’s character better. He’s supposed to be sleep deprived but he doesn’t look like that at all with his new face

@Sluzzy said:
It is simply a symptom that killer is much easier than survivor. With so many anti-loop powers, it is never safe to loop, and with killers that throw projectiles you can't loop.
Especially with powers like nurse being able to down survivors no matter what
-
It’s kinda the issue with new killer designs. Why even attempt to loop an artist if holding W is way more consistent?

I grind perks on survivors I have and give them 1 aspect perk build (Jane with full healing, Clau with full stealth),because it would save me time from set perk build every match, and its more fun by playing in different style. So nowaday I play every survivors, not only Yui. And I play Jeff sometime (full teammate aura)
Beside, I did a Jane art 2 years ago, quality is outdated : D
Yeah I do that too. Jeff has my altruism build and Jane has my solo build. I also play Quentin sometimes but I don’t like his new face as much

How do you juke/dodge trickster? This is assuming he’s moving at 115% while throwing these blades

Clown and deathslinger should be much higher imo

We all do tbh
