Why would I need to see survivor auras? I already know they are running directly to the generator im working on, prethrowing every pallet on the way.
You mean hiding in a bush at the corner of the map?

The MMR isn´t the problem. The balance issues that became more visible with the MMR is the Problem. Turning the MMR off without changing the balancing issues is like closing your eyes and claim that everything is fine now.
Well I have the devs have plans to continue MMR because if we’re stuck with this killer players won’t stay

Why should I even waste my time in q if the game is just going to give the other team auto win?
Don’t unless you enjoy playing said killer. I enjoy playing clown so I don’t mind losing a game due to bad luck/matchmaking
-
Pretty much a survivor main. Trickster is the most annoying killer in the game. Essentially huntress but without any of the fun parts
-
We’ll look at it this way. If I play a match as clown for example I’m going in knowing I’m playing a weak killer. Knowing dbd map rng/matchmaking honestly you should accept that you’re just going to lose some games. That’s just the way the game is
-
Yep. It needs a timer of 45/60 seconds imo that resets on heal

Current dh is reminding me of old dh. The one that coukd be used to abaorb 1 hit. Literally giving survivors 3 health states. This is giving me ptsd flashbacks of old MoM
Yeah I can definitely see cases for dead hard being overpowered. Thing is the kill switch is only for mechanically broken things like bugged breakdown

It's not a fix though because it bugged the perk. I am sorry you haven't been looking into tons of evidence posted on this forum. I'll leave with a simple question though
Can you explain why, if a pallet is downed and a Nemesis at tier 2 swings their tentacle at a survivor behind it, why does the pallet not break if the validation happens? The formula for Nemesis tentacle is simple. No survivor hit=pallet break. This does not happen if there is validation, forcing the Nemesis to break the pallet. There is no other perk, add on, or any interaction that can replicate this effect. Why does this happen and why do you think it's intended?
Then that needs to change. I was actually unaware of that. We shouldn’t just be kill switched potentially OP/hated things though

i strongly disagree. It isnt healthy for the game. i remember when people needed skill to use dh effectively. now just press the button when the killer raises their weapon for an easy escape
Again the perks isn’t technically broken or doesn’t have any exploits surrounding it. Therefore the kill switch is not needed

I mean yeah when you buff a perk it does tend to be better
It was a fix. Is the perk OP? Maybe but there’s no denying it doesn’t break the game so no kill switch needed
-
Dead hard is working the best it has in quite awhile tbf

The missing voice line certainly didn´t help with the cenobite. It was the first chapter i haven´t bought. Now the next chapter looks dark, at least for killers.
Yeah. Artist looks strong and her perks are too but overcome just sounds annoying for m1 killers. Boon exponential really only serves as a final nail in the coffin for twins
-
We just need old Freddy with the teleport and some QOL fixes (For example incapacitated status effect on survivors in the transition idea by @GeneralV)
-
Probably to stop spaghetti code ######### with them. It’s easier if they only have to worry about them for 2-3 weeks as opposed to 12 months
-
@Pulsar said:
It's good on Console because it freezes people's games when you get hit.
The ethics of this are....questionable.
I remember playing Freddy with it on original Xbox one. I’m pretty sure 60% of my chases were cut short due to it

Its not the mmr, its the unbalanced state of the game that became visible with help of the mmr.
To an extent yes. MMR definitely exemplified the issue. Plus the new content has been less than stellar.

1) Do you use "Fingerless parade gloves" often?
Seems that with them and without throw arc are way too different.
2) It's just my opinion or "Pulcinella" is more stealthy?
- I hate fingerless parade gloves with a burning passion. They make higher up shots way harder and mess with my muscle memeory
- It is more stealthy than default but his black recolour is probably his most stealthy

How does it feel like to be such an amazing, beautiful person with an incredible taste in mains?
Incredible

MMR is why I quit the game. They took 1 year to make a worse system and think it’s great
-
@ShinobuSK said:
Do you get big use of yellow bottles and use them a lot?
Not as much as the tonics but they have their uses. Mainly for W gamers and at longer loops such as shack or cowshed i loops
-
What about clown is disorienting?
-
@Dwight_Fairfield said:
Clown has some cool cosmetics. Do you have a favorite?
I missed this one sorry!
Ive already shown my favourite but honourable mentions are mr puddles and punchiella
-
I’m going to hell for this
To elaborate legion is there because Susie is 16
-
We’re a very small minority of the community and our love for this game is why we are here on the forums. That’s why we want new players.
-
It shouldn’t but use them at your own risk
-
Glad you’re enjoying it. MMR is pretty much the reason I left
-
Current Freddy is literally the most uninspired killer in the game so the second one
-
Saboteur is probably the biggest example. Worse is that it goes on cooldown regardless of if you actually sabo the hook
-
Best way to play killer atm is to not take it seriously. Clearly the devs don’t want you to
-
Why they nerfed slinger for having “no counterplay” but are fine with nurse is beyond me. Both take around the same amount of skill to play well
-
Pulling my first and only “reload tech” as clown. It’s where you reload to bait the pallet stun and then hit them instead
-
It’s just a powercrept healing perk essentially. Why ever run self care when this exists?
-
Same as before really. Maps are busted as hell and nurse is way too strong compared to the other killers
-
Strategy: clown’s ability to zone and predict survivor movements is what makes him fun
-
I don’t mind it personally. The killer plays with 3 perks most the match anyway
-
Yes probably. Kinda rng dependent but get like 80% of 1 skill check would be too good
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
Because it is a busted Add-On on a Killer who is not really that good. They changed a bit on Myers quite recently, however, it did not really lift him up and busted Add-Ons like Fragrant Tuft and Tombstone Piece are still around.
Honestly fragrant tuft isn’t too OP imo unless he camps. Then there is nothing you can do.
Tombstone piece is dumb though
-
Meta seems to be moving to more guaranteed slowdown like NWO or Deadlock

Not the same. Billy is much less clunky and he is fun to play even when he is hard.
More fun is subjective but they are both clunky in different ways.
Billy has clunky animations and an micromanagement system he doesn’t need which punishes you for playing well.
Slinger has multiple cool downs after missing or hitting but is still fairly fast to shoot
-
Because they weren’t assed to balance his unique but weak power so instead they made clown 2.0 with a teleport and nerfed him into redundancy because “muh kill rates”
-
He now has the same issue as Billy. He takes way too much skill for the reward of mastering him
-

Well, I'd argue that Victor isn't the main power. Their power is well... their existence. Having two killers who can harm and down survivors present in one trial is a unique and potentially lethal power.
That's my philosophy with the Twins and why they're my favorite killer(s). I've always looked at them from a different angle compared to most of the community. I see them as two individuals who work together to hunt thanks to their Blood Bond.
Thing is Charlotte is just an m1 killer without a power essentially. Victor is her power and is what makes her good
-
Blood bond always sounded stupid to me. Her whole power is just Victor anyway
Favourite would be deathslinger. The redeemer is just a cool name

With the current loop Metas on all maps I say yes it should, but if loops and jungle gyms were actually balanced well and worked on then no. The buff really would be a result of the poor map building The Devs have done.
Dosnt mean I agree with the buff or are against it I can see where it's truly coming from.
Totally agree. Map balance is awful and maps need to be more unsafe in general. But I still think dying because you ran out of time as opposed to being outplayed is dumb

You haven't been in the boots of a killer then. If someone dedicates this much time to downing you then have at least the decency to accept your fate. He's going to lose anyway, just give him the 1K.
Yeah but it’s not fun to know “no matter how well I play here I’ll just die anyway”. Especially when the killer is worse than you.
Imagine a sloppy butcher wraith who was effectively splitting pressure between 4 survivors who don’t bring healing perks. The killer doesn’t deserve a down just because he spent 4 gens chasing 1 guy especially if he’s actively being outplayed
-
@Canas said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2651605#Comment_2651605
If a chase lasts that long then chances are the killer has lost the game anyway due to your team rushing gens meanwhile.
Yes but he still shouldn’t be given a down because I looped him well
-
About 2000 hours. Probably a 70/30 split for survivor and killer
-
Yeah I was willing to give boons a chance but they just seem almost out of place tbh. As for mikaela she was written by a 14 year old tumblr user

Sloppy is a ######### perk anyway, mangled only adds 4 or so seconds to a heal and with the boon totems is literally worthless. If this means an indirect buff to sloppy, I'd be more than happy with that
So if a killer injured me with sloppy and chases me for the time it takes me to get downed from haemorrhage that’s fair? That’s just old legion all over again
