I think it's because the mending LITERALLY takes like 13 minutes to compete with those addons. BL and Haddonfield is annoying sure, but there are addons to help counter it and other specific killers to counter it. Its unfortunately a map design problem along with many other maps that need fixing. But the Legion mending is an extremely game breaking exploit that probably should've been hotfixed

Once you complete a generator in the killers terror radius, the killers aura will be revealed to you for 1/2/3 seconds

@Detective_Jonathan strangely, I do too. Things looked more simple, I guess. It really just seemed more dark and gloomy so it was more fitting

The perks I ran (before I prestiged her) were ruin, pgtw, stbfl, and overcharge. It worked out pretty well most of the time

In case anyone was curious as to how this all happened, the short version is I walked straight into a roaming boss and got rekt'd.
The long version is: The Collector appeared and we began combat and held our own for a while. Shad03 and I kept the collected minions at bay while Hoodedfengm1n kept pelting the boss with Divine Judgement because the only other person who would've had ranged attacks was Shad03 who I had reslotted to all melee skills, because Legion. So for a while it was working, Hoodedfengm1n chipped away the boss's health, Shad03 and myself kept stabbing and smiting all of the minions, and DocOctober kept spamming Wyrd restoration to heal everyone.
Then things went south faster than a Susie's Mix Tape Feral Frenzy. DocOctober got hit by a critical hit that did 41 damage ("That's a lot of damage!") that sent him straight to death's door. (Basically, a health state where 1 more hit has a good chance to kill you.) Before I can even think to myself, it's okay I'll have him heal he gets stabbed in the chest by a Collected Highwayman and dies. As I prepared to retreat the other Collected Highwayman got a crit with an attack with a bleed effect and put Shad03 at death's door. Then, when it was Shad03's turn to act he instantly bled out and died. Desperately spamming retreat to save Hoodedfengm1n and myself we just barely escaped, however it turned out that I was too stressed out. After escaping the boss I immediately had a heart attack and died leaving Hoodedfengm1n the sole survivor.
There's not really any lessons to be learned here other than Darkest Dungeon doesn't mess around. Just figured I'd share in case you guys found it interesting.

I think the reason it has exhaustion is because you could use head in and stun, then run out with sprint burst or lithe with a nearby window. That's probably why they gave it the exhaustion effect

@CornChip Ah I see. But maybe make the other perks more useful first since most if them dont outclass the usual BBQ, ruin, Nurses and Noed. Either way though, I still think it should gain a token for more BP. This should apply to WGLF as well like OP said

@LCGaster @friendlykillermain alright, I went back to try RE2 again, I walked around a bit, killed a few zombies then saved my game. But when I got to a window where there was a zombie and then another zombie at the top of the staircase, I legit booked it back to the safe room and quit the game without saving. Nope, no thank you, I'm not dealing with that. My combat knife is still stuck inside the zombies back 😥

@CornChip I am so confused right now. Why would the perk become more of a must pick if all it would do is give it the missing token? I dont see how it would affect its pick rate at all. Plus it would just give the killer bloodpoints so I dont see what would be so wrong with that

Have you checked their Twitter? They've said their aware of the issues. When they fix them is what we dont know

Can you point me to the developer roadmap, where they acknowledge major issues in the game and lay out a time frame for expected fixes and/or how they intend to re-work / fix the issue?
Or only updates about minor crap with no relevance to the big picture and no exact details or time frame?

@CornChip you're literally complaining that the perk is meta because if the aura reading. Yet with this change it wouldn't do anything to change up the meta or make the perk a must pick. It would literally just be a QoL change. I'm done talking, have a good rest if your day

Developing games take time. They care, but with so much going on in the game, it becomes difficult to keep everything under control sometimes. The devs get bashed too much, they care a lot more than other game developers I've seen

@CornChip Oh no! We're allowing the killer to get more blood points! What ever shall we do?! Seriously, it would literally not hurt anyone to do this. It wouldn't show auras and theres already like 7 counters to the perk.

So I just got RE2 and I've been playing it for a bit now but, I haven't played an actual horror game in a while so after a few scares I just noped tf outta there. I forgot how much of a wuss I am when it comes to playing actual horror games XD
