Since when we’re people of the LGBTQ oppressors?
All you need is a little power to become an oppressor. I dunno if you've lived under a rock since 2014 but the lgbt community is notorious for ruining lives and careers of people for just having a difference of opinion. Hell, they made bhvr backpedal on their stance to leave sexuality up to the players via harrassement.

I mean it’s true that lgbt people are being discriminated and mistreated in other countries but yeah that isn’t really bhvr’s concern.
There are a lot of good reasons for representation though. It gives people insight in LGBT people through the characters lore aswell as having a character people can relate to. Really nothing bad can come out of this
And if bhvr wanted to add an lgbt character of their own volition that would be really cool. But I campaigned for tolerance of the gay community, not forced acceptance via oppression. I don't want people to step on my shoes as a gay person, Im not gonna do it to others too.

so they made straight characters after month of abuse that's what you're saying
Dude. Don't be dumb. New survivors and characters are planned way in advance and they roll stuff out as its finished.

They still don’t have to anyway. At this point BHVR are pretty used to critics so I’m sure it wouldn’t effect them.
While I don’t agree with harassing them asking for more representation is completely fine
Asking for representation is fine, yes. But not demanding like the community has been for a long time now and giving a plethora of reasons like the OP has. The OP had the audacity to imply its BHVR's responsibility to include LGBT characters because a certain religious ideology is killing us for just existing. Like c'mon.

No they said that then went back on their word by making characters with defined sexuality's and now people want their sexuality's represented too its not that hard.
Yeah. After months of abuse from SJWs. Jesus.

Tbf we aren’t really forcing them here and we never have. Every character so far( barring licenced and felix) are left up to the player to have their own head canon about their sexuality
If the devs want to make an lgbt character they are going to whether we tell them to or not
Months and months of demanding and harrassement towards the devs to include an LGBT character isn't forcing them to? K. And no, that's not true. The devs once stated they wanted the player to come up with their own sexuality for characters. But after that statement they were flooded with harrassement and were forced to backpedal.

Who forces them though?
they have mentioned several times they want to add LGBT chars and that their previous stand on it has changed.
not adding LGBT is actually restricting the creativity greatly and why would you just assume they will be stereotyped anyway? Nothing points to that..
The community does. Don't be dumb. In 2021 its all the rage that if SJWs don't get what they want they bombard companies with threats of boycotts or general abuse. BHVR stated once that they wanted players to come up with their own ideas for character's sexuality. Then after months of abuse BHVR backpedalled. I didn't fight for gay rights in the 00s for the LGBT youth of today to become the oppressors. My generation fought for tolerance, NOT forced acceptance. And that's exactly what's going on in social justice land.
Really? Lol. If you force a company to make the gay character they're gonna give you the GAAAAAAAY character.
-
As a gay man I disagree with the OP 100%. By forcing the devs into representation and diversity we stifle the free will of creatives and it creates ######### stereotypes in return.

Respecting him getting to rank 1? LOL Every decent player knows rank means almost nothing. I get to rank 1 both sides without even trying and so does everybody else. Why do you think are so many noob survivors and killers at rank 1? Because it's incredibly easy to rank up.
Also, I'm not saying he is mediocre because I don't like him, I say he is mediocre because his gameplay is mediocre. I've watched enough of his streams to know that. He misjudges situations so often, blames the game for it and then tries to talk himself out of the situation because he knows "everything" about the game.
This!! He applies zero gen pressure due to proxy camping and hook trading and then wonders why 4 gens popped. Then he says, "GeNrUsH iS rEaL" and talks about survivors being OP, etc etc...
-
The best part about Tru3's tournament is how he banned hatch escapes because he realized he could lose the match. Lmfao.
-
Everything is pointing to a Resident Evil Resistance crossover.
The glitch on the logo is like the camera glitch that that hacking survivor can perform. Like a camera glitching out.
The picture with Feng by the monitors. (Note: Feng is the resident gamer of the group) The Mastermind in Resistance IS played by a gamer. And they use multiple monitors to track the progress of survivors.
Magnum Opus basically means one's greatest work. Mastermind.
I'm so glad cuz Leaks was calling for a FNAF crossover and I do not want that community hopping over to DbD LOL

Have you had killers bringing enduring for the sole of purpose of countering the pallet vacuum? They expect it and immediately turn around to get the grab. Cuz I have. :) Its been fun. This is what breeds toxic survivors.

Do you use Wifi or a wired connection? Using wired will help your ping. If you do not have a lot of bandwidth, limiting usage will also help. :)

Did what? We did literally nothing. They didn't apologize, they didn't make any commitments and you guys are eating it up.
They said they "heard feedback"; just like they "heard feedback" did during the Q&A. No where did they apologize. No where did they say they were changing the HUD.
"We've heard you loud and clear!
Our team is working to find some solutions to the feedback on the latest update.
We're focusing on fixing bugs (Fixing BUGS yay! Same issue we deal with every patch)
Fixing Issues with hitboxes (They've been broken for a long time now; don't hold your breath)
We are reviewing some elements of the changes in the HUD (UI) and the survivor movement. (No commitment to actually changing anything.)
All I asked for was an acknowledgment. I mean itd be extremely hypocritical at this point to keep pressing the issue. lol
-
All I wanted was some form of acknowledgment and commitment to fixing the issues. They did that. If the updates are subpar I'll raise my voice again and I hope you all do too. Until then I'mma just chill though.
-
You can always spot the killer mains in the forums because they're always quick to defend something that gives survivors a huge disadvantage. Are you a fan of the hitboxes too, OP?

Silence is a reaction.
Silence is a good reaction from a PR perspective when people are complaining over something stupid. For example: When Subway was under fire for allegedly jipping their customers 1 inch off of every footlong sub Subway decided to be silent and ignore it because it was stupid. And rightfully so. But this is pushing out a faulty product that leaves the game unplayable. I don't really know how I'm expecting to play the game when I can't tell where the killer actually is and keep getting clipped through walls or the length of two characters behind me. That's not just not fun. And I know I'm not alone in that sentiment.

They're formulating their battle plan.
As someone who holds a degree in Communications and a diploma in Public Relations AND has worked in a PR firm it does not take THIS long to formulate a battleplan and issue a statement. Lol. Two hours tops assuming the statement needs to pass through various checks. Heck, five minutes to write, "To our loyal playerbase: We're really sorry about the launch of today's mid-chapter release. We've taken the time to read through the complaints and are busy working on a strategy to combat all the issues presented to us today. In the meantime, try to enjoy the game as best as you can. We will release another statement when we have more information to share. We've also sent players x bloodpoints/shards as an apology". BOOM. I wrote that in 10 seconds.

I hope everyone is planning to speak with their wallet when the Rift drops. We have to remain vigilant and let the devs know this ######### needs to stop. Enough is enough.

You need to come to your senses that with every update and patch there is going to be bugs, some worse than others that can make an impact on gameplay. Yet, the many people that complain the game is unplayable are the ones that still allow themselves to play it. If You find the bugs to make your gameplay unplayable/unjoyable don’t play it at all. The devs are human just like you and I and make mistakes that they’re AWARE of, they don’t need constant reminders.
Speak for yourself. Queue times in NA East were instant prior to this patch. After I noticed the hitboxes were ######### I came on here and told people I was pissed and that I'd be logging off until its addressed. Turns out I'm not alone in that sentiment as a local friend of mine hopped on to try the patch and said the queue times were over 10 minutes! That's crazy on NA East. I haven't seen queues that long since before crossplay was implemented. People are not happy, dude.
-
A local friend hopped on to try the new patch against my warnings. Same issue. He said the queue time was the longest he's ever seen and won't be back on till its fixed. We're logging off in droves. Keep up the fight, guys. Enough is enough.

-
Im glad to hear this isn't an isolated issue. I invite you all to join me in logging off until this is addressed, apologized for, and fixed.
This is honestly unacceptable as someone had commented on another post that this was apparent on the PTB as well. The devs had time to fix it. They chose to ignore it and many of the other issues.
It's time, as a collective, we say enough is enough. Goodbye for now, DbD.

Most of the time they drop it after the lunge, in a reaction to not get hit. Due to the killer doing an action first it gets priority.
Want to stop it? Throw pallets down when the killer is not near you.
Clearly you've never played survivor and been hit through a dropped pallet.
-

.... Because killers are the only role that can hit...
Incorrect. Survivors can hit killers with pallets. Come to think of it: Why don't survivors have hit priority at pallets if killers have hit priority everywhere else?
-
Doctor, in my opinion, while annoying as #########, is honestly quite balanced. He's a hard anti-looper but has counterplay in a fair amount of scenarios. And if Doctor is the killer that you hate the most he has a perk that counters him. Freddy and Spirit (with Stridor) have no counterplay and are unhealthy for the game.

Springwood is 5 different maps with very different balance.
See I felt like that prior to the rework but since the rework I don't really notice much of a difference. :/ I dunno.
-
@MikeyBoi said:
I can’t believe people aren’t mentioning springwood.
I was gonna say that Springwood is, in my opinion, the most survivor-sided map. Haddonfield has been trash ever since the Balanced Landing nerf and nobody runs it anymore. Killers will catch up fast with the stagger if you hop out of a Haddonfield window.
-
@GriffinsMarkGaming said:
All I'm gonna say about the nerf is; IF A SURVIVOR HAD TIME TO DO A GEN, WORK ON A TOTEM OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT, THEY AREN'T BEING TUNNELED.
This isn't necessarily true and is one of the reasons I have issues with the new DS. A lot of the people are under the assumption that tunneling is only possible when camping. The killer can decide to not camp and still tunnel you out of the game and the DS changes are going to make this very easy to do so.
For example:
Survivor A is a weak looper and goes down and gets hooked. Killer leaves to go down Survivor B. As Survivor B is being hooked Survivor A is unhooked by Survivor C and figures since they can't hear the killer's terror radius they are OK to start working on a generator. Seconds later the killer shows up and sees both Survivors A and C. Knowing that Survivor A has touched a gen and is a weaker looper the killer chases them without fear of DS and places them back on the hook. This can all be done in less than 30 seconds by the way. DS will still counter hard tunneling, but its going to encourage a different type of tunneling even more and I worry for weaker survivors that rely on DS to keep them in the game. And if they want to ensure that they don't get tunneled they have to basically take themselves out of the game for 60 seconds which is not healthy gameplay.

@Sluzzy said:
It is a testament to be said of the quality of gaming experience on both sides that killers rarely ragequit because they have no reasons to do so. Maybe if their ruin (crutch perk) was destroyed when the match first started or it was an entitled huntress on Haddonfield that expects an ez 4K every game. It is the only times I ever saw a killer quit. Because there is so many survivors that come and go out of the game, the devs can push the problem under the rug. The best thing survivors could do is not play.
I've definitely made my fair share of killers ragequit. Everything from cleansing ruin in the first 10 seconds of the match to looping for 5 gens into the exit gate. I don't really care if killers do this because I technically win and still get points for it. But when a teammate does it its beyond frustrating.

How do you know they are on PC? The globe icon just means they are on a different platform than you. If your on xbox and you see a globe couldn't they be on a Playstation or a Nintendo?
As for DCing itself. It's been around since the game launched. There will always be people who quit for no damn reason other than they are salty. What I hate is when your playing killer, someone rage quits and the remaining 3 get mad at you. It's not the killers fault someone quit. They should be yelling at their teammate that ditched them.
I said it above, but... someone had asked your question when I asked why previously so I started SWFing with a friend who I know plays on PC and after every match he's been confirming who the DCers are for me. In the 3 matches I mentioned above, 100% of them were PC.

Freddy is OP.
Spirit (With Stridor) is OP.
Ghostface is not OP and has proper counterplay.

You don’t know for sure if they’re PC or not. All you know is whether they’re playing on the same platform as you or not. That’s it.
I do when my SWF buddy is on PC and lets me know if they're PC or not. Spoiler alert: 100% of them are.

Its an unhealthy change for the game. It looks fixed at it's core but its gonna encourage killers to tunnel more.

Why "PC Bubba" and not just Bubba?
Console Bubbas have serious difficulty swirving around tight objects like trees. PC players, only the trash ones.
-
This is why I think Sprint Burst is the best exhaustion perk in the game. Sure, Dead Hard can help extend a chase but against killers like Bubba you won't even be able to get to use Dead Hard unless you were already injured. Sprint Burst helps you get into position so Bubba's chainsaw is no longer as effective. Being caught out of position against a PC Bubba means you're more than likely going down and there's really nothing you can do about it.
