  • Well, with no more trap sabo, he got a little buff.

  • Oh... dont know what to say, but nice to see a smile in adversity. :)

Actually they do use iron will, as I have been the one playing against them and checking after the match, but thanks for letting me know what's happening in my games....

In my matches, they dont need to use Iron Will to be silent when downed, thats what i meant.

  • The Iron Will is not supposed to work when you are downed (sadly?). The survivors you cant hear when downed are silent cause of a bug. They dont even use Iron Will at all.

  • All killers are strong. Ranking them is just a relative comparison. That said...

I cant see why ppl calls Clown weak, cause hes stuning strong with the good use of his bottles, and I have sweet games with him. His power is way versatile: force survivor to go another way (as a dead zone), stop looping, revealing nearby survivors when hooking (throw the bottle up the top of a high tree or wall), reveals survs position (same as before), etc. A power that makes chases way shorter and stops loops... this is strong.

I also cant get why Wraith is called weak.

    And Pig.

    And... any killer!

The only reason a killer can be seen as weak is that the person calling him weak just doesnt know how to master his power and a perfect build altogether.

I main Nurse, but for now i am in grief about her cooldown, nevertheless i am beggining to get used to it. She stills the strongest killer... but all killers are strong.

  • I dont care about being tunneled, camped or slugged. Well, slugged is boring, but the rest is not. I just need to get better, so I laugh and move on to the next match. (Sometimes I memorize the killers nickname to mori him if i get him in a future match as killer, but only in days im in bad mood).

The main thing is that if you have a low queue time between matches, you wouldnt care so much about dying quickly in a match. Thanks God the Brazilian server queues are fine, some minutes for survivor and instant for killer.

But, the way is improve your skill as survivor. So you can get tunneled but you can laugh a lot looping, 360, dribling, stuning the killer in a long chase.

Remember, dying is not losing in this game. In the other hand, killing nobody isnt either losing. Having fun is the thing, as killer and as survivor.

    GG and move on.

  • I did the key use one, but spend more than 10 keys to do that. Manage to do that with my LAST key!!! I was getting soooo upset...

  • @Beardedragon said:

simply to lessen the outrageous looping. how many are there anyway on the entire map? 15 pallets? thats a lot of looping potential.

Where am i supposed to find the time to deal with that when gens are done in very few minutes? Gen rushing + endless pallets and a guy that knows where each pallet is = thats ONE guy that will at least never die. if everyone knows = im just done.

Yes, thats it... the minimal number of pallets in a match is 8, but we got way more than that.

  • Try playing Spirit and you will see that its not that easy to use sounds when the survivor is not hurt. Even hurt, you can have a bad time hitting them after the phasing.

I know that the doctor was just updated to be a better killer, but I think there was an over adjustment. For me it's only one thing but I'm sure theres more. For me it's the secondary shockwave. It just emits a radius blast and takes all the skill out of playing the doctor. Anytime u hang someone u can just radius blast to see if a survivor is near. No trying directions or searching. Just an immediate check. I think the radius style was better when it was only an add on to the power. Since everyone has it it's just made the Doctor unbearable.

I think it was a good update overall. Like the no switch time to hit the survivors was a great choice. But the radius. Nerf it please. Smaller radius or something

Enter a locker whenever he hooks someone and wait for the blast. Or use Calm Spirit.

How about instead we bring Freddy to Switch? Please? I'll buy it if you do! I've bought pretty much all the Chapters. I'm guessing there's licensing issues, but I'd love to hear them say "We're working on it!"

How can that be? No Freddy on Switch? Why that? Cooyrights contracts can be way complex...

  • And today I got my first SWF with multiple OoO... not nice to go against, but I was playing Nurse, so I could do something, nevertheless handicapped by the cooldown...

I begin to feel... serious issues coming against the killers...

  • Its an idea, but i rather to give those buttoms an useful communication inside the game, so solo players may have more info exchange and maybe killers can communicate something to survivors.

  • When a killer brings a BPS I dont think anything. Just get happy everybody will get more BP, killer included. But i play normally, as I would play if there was no BPS. Cause BPS is already giving extra BP, so no need to "soft farm". Nothing personal.

I was recently enjoying a chill game as Freddy on Rancid Abbatoir when I met a particular Nancy. I was taking the game rather lightly for the most part, more concerned with my Daily Ritual of "Dream Chaser" than anything else. However, after I sacrificed a survivor, Nancy ran into the abattoir where it had the long route to the window and proceeded to sit there. I was initially confused but soon learned that I could no longer hook her since the hook behind the abbatoir was broken from an earlier sacrifice and by the time I was nearly at the next closest hook she had struggled free.

I'm just curious if there are other spots like this I should be mindful of in the future. I know the Thompson House second floor comes to mind.

(In case anyone is wondering what happened to Nancy I slugged her and camped her after alt tabbing to listen to this:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBAmoSX7isw )

If i may give you a tip...

In the scenario you told, the hook were previously destroyed by a sacrifice. Well...

Everytime you go for a hook, choose it wisely. And only use the map-edge hooks if you have no other option. There are strategies when choosing which hook go for, and avoiding to create a dead zone for hooking is one of them.

I wouldn't really say that you reported them, that just ensues more harassment as a result.

It's best to just report what you believe to be reportable (upon reviewing the Game Rules) and move on, telling them they're reported doesn't really add anything, if anything it's instigating them to continue.

Indeed. Even more, i can be a better person by not telling i reported. Tks for these words.

  • Tks, @FireHazard.

As much as i play in ps4, the offenses on chat are handled by PS Network rules, and im pretty sure that reporting had no consequences for him.

    I have 3 rules:

1 - complain but be polite, i will explain things and why i did something, and we will be friends

2 - be rude, and i dont answer, block the person and leave the chat (this is the "GG EZ" situation)

3 - be offensive and/or agressive and i say "offense reported", report (meanwhile they use to throw more offenses cause i said i reported), block and leave the chat

And there is the fourth situation:

4 - be friendly and we will be friends!!! My preferred one and the reason i dont block everybody from sending messages, cause there are a lot of good ppl out there. :D

  • Yeah, i agree, its not bannable. I just wanted to make clear this is very BM, as much as im not very deep into game expressions, except for the basic ones.

But once I reported a person for saying that in PS Network, the first time someone said me that. As I aways say "offense reported" (and nothing more) before reporting, he argued it was not an offense. I reported anyway, but then I started to ask myself if that was only a rude thing, deserving only a block, not a report.

And now I know exactly what it is, tks you all. :D

  • I like the grind with new chars. Its a chance to be forced to try new builds and improve getting out of confort zone.

I propose to change the archives and put the notes for the lore only on Free to play challenge by that i mean not giving a note on a challenge where you have to buy a dlc killer or survivor to complete it , because many of us are interested by the lore but cant maybe give money etc..

Also i propose to give the possibility for the f2p players to get all the skins too with the grind on the fault , of course people who paid for the pass will get more points from the archive and a little bit more orbs cells so everyone is winning and can enjoy the skins and the grind .

Well, if you are interested in the Lore and dont wanna spend shards to buy a char, you may read it in the internet spoilers.

  • Tks for the answers.

I wouldn't say it's a bug, since technically, the camera is inside the killers head, so when Billy stops chainsawing, his head lurches forwards, and if you're directly in front of an object, locker/wall, the camera clips through slightly. I don't think there's much that could be done beyond editing his cooldown animation to stop the camera clipping.

    This is the answer.

I was reading a post about BP and @Peanits brought up how much hard it is to get WGLF stacks compared to BBQ and I was curious as to why? Survivors already get less BP than killers and their best perk to double the little they get makes it so complicated to get stacks. How would you feel if survivors hard more ways to get WGLF Stacks, I come up with the following list of things survivors do, that we already know BHVR tracks.

    • Do the equivalent of a generator = Stack
    • Heal the equivalent of 2 health state = Stack
    • Safe Unhook = Stack
    • Cleanse Totem = Stack
    • Protection Hit = Stack
    • Open Exit Gate = Stack

I have updated this post, because I can see I created some confusion, I didn't mean for each of these things to reward you a stack, I was simply trying to point out things BHVR tracks that a survivor does and how they could reward a stack.

Though I do feel like the current list excluding the the striked out items seems more fair. I do apologize for the confusion.

Like this would not only make WGLF useful for survivors who want to play the objective, it would make it so the stacks were not so complicated to get. You already have event hooks for Doing the Equivalent of a generator or health state, because those are dailies. You already have event hooks for cleansing totems and opening exit gates.

Giving survivors more way to earn stacks for WGLF might also make the people who run that perk less like to hook bomb and make stupid plays to earn a stack.

Is there anything else you think should reward survivors a stack? Is there something on this list that you think shouldn't reward a stack?

The totem cleansing is a nice idea. It will estimulate doing the secondary objective.

Opening a exit gate is also cool, cause it may allow someone to make a escape in the last second.

But healing and making gens i disagree.

    Good topic.

  • All this debate about Freddy is giving me the need to play with him today. o/

  • @Peanits said:

This was actually something that was tested earlier on when the End Game Collapse was created, for what it's worth. While it's nice, it did mean that coordinated groups had a noticeable advantage over solo players. You could communicate and have one guy wait on the gate keeping it prepped and ready to open while the other guy goes for the save. Meanwhile a solo player would have to cross their fingers and hope for the best, possibly coming back to a gate at 0%.

Ultimately it was decided against. We don't want to widen that gap anymore than it already is.

As far as the blocking the gate bit goes, that would be considered griefing and you can report them for that.

Once in the forum I suggested the regression to be just enough to avoid 99%. As much as 80% or 90% would suffice to avoid the instaOpening with 99% and would not be a harm to a solo player, or someone that legitimy stops opening the gate. First, if hes not at 90%, it wont regress. Second, if regress, will do that after some time and just until reach the 90%.

If thats an idea, heres my 5 cents. :D

The real problem is this games grind when your supposed to aim for getting all survivor and killer perks but how many survivor and killers are there and if we assume its about 2 million bp to get each survivor and killer to level 50 GL doing that for each killer and survivor. Would it be time for a increase of bloodpoints across the board like maybe 50% more?

Or maybe make the cost in BW 1k lower than it is now for everything.

  • Its a bannable behaviour, playing for the other team. Next time, report and send proof.

The details are in the game rules post: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/19450/game-rules-and-report-system#latest

  • @samination said:

I'm sure this post will stop that from happening again. Or you could turn off messages from strangers. Nah.

    Are you "the" Samination?

  • Yeah, the only toxic messages i get as survivor comes from other survivors, and its a nuisance as much as when I play killer.

Like... when im on hook at EGC by a NOED hit, i kill myself at the hook to relieve the others from trying to save me and turn the 1k into 4k. By the other side, some players think you must die to try to save then against all chances.

As a survivor main the overwhelming majority of the horrible and nasty comments I get are from other survivors. I don't post about those because I know it wouldn't surprise anyone. I posted about this one because of the combination of sheer arrogance and length of the message. It was especially weird considering I RARELY get a message from any killers other than gg

Yeah, the only toxic messages I got as survivor came from other survivors, and thats a nuisance as much as receiving those when playing killer.

  • What is the difference between rework and overhaul?

  • When his traps work well he is super. But if they dont.......

And this is a genuine question. Whats the point of this cooldown attached to an already mediocre perk? Surge doesn't work on already kicked/Surged gens so downing 2 people wont even make the gen explode twice. And even then 16% isn't crazy strong if that interaction did even work. Surge having a cooldown doesn't really make any sense as you cant surge the same gens so the cooldown is pointless.

Maybe survivors getting hit by multiple surges because they keep touching the gens, but thats the survivors fault and they should know that you have surge after a bit into the game. And honestly if 2 people get downed in the same area thats already a terrible situation for survivors and that almost never happens. In my opinion the cooldown doesn't really make any sense and shouldn't be a thing. Thanks for reading! P.S please let surge work with overcharge or killer power downs.

    I second the OP.

  • Well, if someone is umpleasant in a chat after match, but its not an offense (cause if so i will report), i simply block the player and leave the chat room without answering anything.

  • Kkkkkkkk

  • Tell him to write a book about it. Hes soooo good, right? ;)

  • OoO is two eyes and a nose in the middle.

    Point made. :p

  • (Sarcasm Mode On) And the survivors must wait 1 minute between each generator to not "genrush".

Lets call the game Gentleman By Daylight.

    (Im not that fun... sad...)

This is a very useful topic!

Borrow time activate within a killer's terror radius. Once in the dreamworld the lullaby is not considered a terror radius. Borrowed time does not work if the rescuer is asleep.

    Tks

  • @Bullettimegod said:

Or cosmetics? You guys are clearly screwing killers via match making, ruin changes etc. Why should i care about your paychecks if you guys dont care about killers time?

Before any of you survivors come in allow me to retort to everything you are going to say.

"Get good" i would if the game was enjoyable instead i get broken match making with annoying survivors who can find everyloop and pallet drop. As well as first two gens are done so fast it really doesn't make any sense.

"Gen rushing isnt a thing" yea okay. Neither is camping or tunneling. Its "playing my objective"

"Noed promotes bad gameplay" noed is easily counterable as well as can be stopped. Tell me how i can stop ds locker jumping and the 60 sec cd. Or survivors who hide under the hooked survivor where i cant hit them. Or bt. Or sprint burst. Or any of your second chance perks.

"Swf is fine" if youre a survivor yes. If youre a killer. Fk no.

"Just apply pressure" okay! Let me split myself to 4 and be every where at once.

"3 gen them" yea. Because the game doesnt become longer and more boring for both parties!

"2k and 2 escape is fine" i agree..unless you want to pip.

"Ranks are useless." I cant agree more with how broken and mixmatched matchmaking is.

So whats the point in caring about the devs paycheck if the devs arent caring about killer mains?

    Dont buy. Use shards. :D

  • Yeah. Ace has only useless perks. But David has the most stupid perk ever made.

  • I never saw the option to change brightness on ps4...

  • @Coder said:

Killer is super fun to play. Check this video.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R98e-Y4Lu8w

    LOL LOL LOL

  • When i see a OoO user, i first assume its a SWF. If he taunts me, it def is a SWF. So I ignore him until a better moment, or I act as I care about him, to surprise others survivors.

But never thought he would tell all my moves... sad...

But, depending on the killer, as OG Nurse, i just go up to him and down him. OoO, by the other side, is a "please kill me you know im here" perk. If i test the user skill, i can get if its a looping God or not.

I do like go against OoO cause it shows me where a survivor is all the time, and rarely they are so skilled I cant down. As survivor, i think its a stupid perk to use, and only No Mither is worse.

Never got a team with more than 1 OoO user until now.

About reworking or nerfing, idk if its needed. As I said, the OoO user has a target in his head, and thats a big downside when you are against a killer thats better than you or has the proper counterplays (as Light Born against a flashlight god). So, the survivor gets in the match cocky, and is downed way fast. And will be tunneled, cause the killer knows where he is. And so you will know where others are, if hes being healed.

But... the point it is a problem against SWF is a thing. It can be enerving for the killer to be taunted all the time. But SWF itself is a big thiiiiiing, the Supreme OP Perk: SWF Voice Comm.

Let the taunter taunt, go after others until better moment. While he is taunting you, hes not doing gens.

But i liked the "obsession only" idea. It would be a nice condition to avoid meme OoO OP groups.

  • Thanks all for the answers, and specially @drimmalor for the details and explanation. Now I got it. :)

  • Her Adept was the worst to get, by all killers! 35 levels to go...... OMG.

My tip: keep on trying and trying and... you will get it eventually.

  • I changed my Ps Network ID and nothing was lost. Only older games may have a problem with the ID change. But none of mine had.
