Well people in the community asked for it, now we gotta deal with it. Welcome to the future :).
-
I can't wait to hear all the complaints that DS is still too strong.
-
Yeah, I get it honestly and it's pretty lame to be tunneled all match. No one likes being tunneled as a survivor, or face camped even. For me, tunneling is just EZ mode and makes the majority of your matches not a challenge. I'm competitive, don't get me wrong, but I got nothin' to prove anymore as the killer at this stage of the game so I'm fairly laid back and try not to sweat the little things in-game. Now before, when I was going "ham" and getting to red ranks with Ms. Piggy, I learned quickly that most of the time it's guaranteed to get at least 2 people down and out of the game early on unless they are the fabled toxic 4-stack SWF that puts up some slight resistance.
Even then it's not too hard to just change it up and slug or chase someone else if it comes down to it. People will play how they want, but personally, I go out of my way to avoid it as the killer because to me it cheapens the competition factor and the game gets easier. The killer already has a lot of power in their role whether you acknowledge it or not, so tunneling and/or face camping is just one of those things that can make their job easier.

Like...dude, your team is dead. There are x gens left and you are dead on hook. Happened to find the hatch, and now you want to boast about your consolation prize? I don't slug for 4k so that happens sometimes, and it's weird af.
Tbagging is dumb when winning but tbagging when not winning is just...
Oh no, not a t-bag 🙄.
-
That Bubba is living in the year 7000 while we're all stuck in 2021.
-
Neither from my experience. I still see killers do extremely well with 3-4k and sometimes you'll have survivors escaping. I just see it as a better version of its previous self because the last Gideon was a mess 🤢.
-
At this point, survivors should just start the match in the dying state. though I'm sure someone would still find something to complain about...maybe crawling speed being too fast.
-
Agreed, that's just scummy. It shouldn't be allowed in the game, and even though some will disagree I don't see it any different than holding the game hostage. That is what we've wanted to move away from, and the Devs need to make it to where in that situation you somehow die quicker like the timer going faster.
-
I'm indifferent. It has a lot of great features, but its design makes it one of the more challenging maps to play on.
-
It's a meme perk. Every time I see someone with it in-game they go down in a matter of minutes. The people who can use this perk effectively in a build are few and far between.
-
Resident evil wins for me every time. There are a lot more options to pull from too in terms of who to bring in for the killer.
-
No. Needs a buff if anything.

1 strong surv 3 weak survs... A killer doenst have to chase you if he wishes not to and in this scenario the pig was in the right.
It is basic logic that if you spot a stronger opponent and there are weaker opponents avaliable. You go for the weak.
Especially in the case of pig.. Where you want to get downs so your power has a chance to slow the game down.
If you took aggro. And our as good as looping as you say you say then taking aggro would be hella good especially when people. Are going down tona pig.. Those hats are her main pressure.. When they gone the pig loses hella pressure. Sure the game would be longer.
If you had taken aggro ny bodyblocking after the first 3 downs you know for a fact that you are most ofnthe time the last hat. Piggy chases you. So what if you go down. Its not about how long you can last.. If you can last at least what 60 seconds that's enough time for the megs to reset potentially clear 1 or 2 hats. Meaning at least when it comes to your hook you should have 1 meg on a gen 1 meg clearing the hat which pig will most likely go for. And one on a gen.
Now sure your traps gonna be active after so yourll need to clear it but as long as those megs between the 3 of them last til you clear the hat.
Even with noed in play you could have 1 or 2 survivors escape.
If you hate totems take d hunch.. And a map unless the killer for a weird reason has 3rd seal your have every totem location.
Anyways reflect on what you said you can't tunnel 3 at once.
You can only tunnel one person so yeah.
After reading through your reply, I don't think my comment is the one you meant to quote. Please consider checking your post.
-
We love tunneling and NoED /s.

Hadn't seen any for a hot minute until yesterday. I've seen Billys now for the last 2 days in red ranks, and honestly, he still catches bodies. he's also as obnoxious as ever to deal with in the right hands. I think you're spot on in your posts OP, and once people didn't see him as mighty as he was those "masses" flocked to the next best thing
-
We may be spread out, but we out here. Probably bullying some poor unfortunate survivors for the glory of the Entity.
-
Similar stuff happened to me tonight after tossing a pallet. I had to play the tape over and over because it was just so unbelievable that it's 2021 and this game is still suffering from the same issues it's had since the beginning. Had to put it down for the night and take my mind off it with some Diablo. Hopefully, your next match is better.

Why should it be looked at? The aura reading is very easy to counter. The bonus bloodpoints at the end of the match also doesn't do anything to help during the game.
It's not something that really bothers me but in my mind, it's one of the few remaining strong perks (along with Adrenaline) that have been around since v1.x.x and not had much done to it. There are a few perks I'd say the same for. Not necessarily asking for a change, but just taking a look at it and seeing how it is performing in the state of today's game vs. the initial release with the changes like the reworks, smaller map sizes.
-
I agree that it should be looked at because it's one of the few perks that have gone under the radar in terms of balance changes over the years. As you also eluded to in your post, it's been a long time since it's gotten any changes, and much has happened since its last buff. The only two changes I can think of off the top of my head were buffs that changed the range and bonus BP to a flat rate.
-
The one who has my heart. Was there ever even a doubt?
-
All my surv mains are near the top. Are you sure this isn't an intervention?
-
Ah yes, the classic insta-kill healthy and non-hooked survivor combo that is still in the game. Genrushing and not letting him stalk or get hooks is good, but most likely won't work forever depending on you and the 3 other survivors. So the faster you can get out and deny him the tier-up the better. What you also have to consider is their build, because any experienced Michael using Judith or Judith/tuft will also use build around those add-ons and will use something like PTYF to allow them to negate most of the slowdown drawbacks of Judith's. They also will use gen stalling perks like Dying light/Ruin. If you expect him to be hindered by the add-on, toss that notion out because there are ways to effectively work around the disadvantages. If you can't finish the game quickly, then it's only a matter of time before that Mikey-boi eats through your whole team.
-
Magical Purple Unicorn and rising here. Matchmaking is hot garbage. It makes me sad that it used to be better than this at one point and now it's just crap. Had a game with a rank 1 killer, while I'm paired with ranks 4/15/ and 20 survivors. The 20 only had 1 perk, played like they were brand new, and the icing was killing themselves on the first hook 🤪. Can we please have a gun in this game for moments like these, so we don't have to waste time and can just sacrifice ourselves to the entity?
-
I have a few of them I've gotten of the years, but a fun one on the last match I played last night I put on a really low-brow gimmick build last night on Elodie with Appraisal/Flip-Flop/Plunderer/Power Struggle. The legion downed me in a pallet, but to my surprise instead of picking me up he left to chase the last survivor in an attempt to down them. Meanwhile, I'm on the floor laying my trap card, can't believe this opportunity has actually presented itself as I get set up in the best spot to be pickup so I can hit them with a little unexpected surprise.
After downing the survivor and putting them up for the final hook he came to me, full recovery bar with that flip-flop/power struggle goodness at the ready, and I slammed on just about every button in that second I got picked up and blasted him with the pallet for the stun. A chase ensued. I was injured and bleeding out like a stuffed pig, trying to get the distance to avoid the hit from this bloody legion... it was cut short....once I saw that hatch peeking up and jumped in it as fast as I could. I never thought i'd see a flip-flop/power struggle happen, but when it did it paid off in the moments it needed to.

Sometimes i equip plunderes and Appraisal. Its almost a guaranteed red or purple key. Even pulled out 3 keys in a single match.
Those two perks have very good synergy.

siriously....Horror is horror..but anime is anime...and i will not destroy any fun from someone...if you happy with the new chapter..go for it. But for my self. I rly dont like the customisation from the killer... also to many colors and stuff like that. After 4 years It´s the first chapter i will not buy because it has nothing to do with horror....Sry
Mr. Gamer, what you've just said is one of the most insanely uninformed things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this post is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may the Entity have mercy on your soul.
-
I think the killer's appearance was based on Hisoka from HxH.
-
I dont even have a problem with NOED, but the inconsistency in arguments because NOED rewards killers for failing their objective. Reminds me of back when people crying for one surv perk to be nerfed and would use the excuse "survs getting rewarded for not doing their objective" but NoEd is okay. Like at least be consistent.

Thinking about it a bit more, if he had to be a Legendary cosmetic, Huntress would be a better fit for Needles than Clown. Twisted Metal is all about damage-dealing projectiles, so it would make sense for Needles to use them too. Rather than using hatchets, he would use his Napalm Cone special from TM1/2/HO, and his "lullaby" would be the Sweet Tooth truck's jingle.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wps_mFczk7s
The only real problem with this is that you would need a few different animations, since Huntress carries around a big 2h axe, while Needles either has a knife or a scrap cleaver, depending on the game.
Okay now I want to see that kinda skin on huntress even more. Check this out, and the hedge shears definitely would be 2-h. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cu698R2zkVs

I like the idea and the perspective you're coming from on it integrating that core gameplay of TM (or just car deathmatch in general) into the overall character. There was an alt ending for Sophie Kane in the 2012 game where she became a serial killer like her father and that would be a great legendary. Just purely based on cannon, sex, and cameo appearances for Needles Kane as a standalone character in games like in PASBR (1h sword combat style), Clown, for me, makes the most sense.

You can imagine that there is a lot riding on the success of the TV show, especially for fans because this could be what gives the series new life (3rd times the charm, right? haha). If it does relatively well I'm hoping we see not only the new TV show, but new games, figurines, and the likes. Heck, possibly a remaster of some, if not all, the older games? One can dream.
-
Now, that'd be the dream if we got him as a unique stand-alone killer with the laugh and maybe a creepy terror radius (City park theme from TM1??) seeing as killing is all he likes to do.
-
Badham. Used to be one of my favorite maps until they murdered it and cut it into tiny pieces.

His music and themes fit very well. He's basically a walking horror movie anyway.
One of the best concerts I've seen to date.... and got to see him without the facepaint :P

That rank 16 derank on purpose
While it's not completely impossible, I'd more so assume a returning player w/ or w/o SWF.
-
All that's missing from that match was a green rank and you'd have the full rank spectrum. xD
-
Honestly, I feel you. I would've probably been too surprised to even report.

Everyone seems to think the next chapter has a LGBT character but I Just don't get why nothing they posted really leads me to believe so the person in the photo they sent looks to have a female body and maybe a beard but its too hard to tell if its a beard or a shadow ,And the person in the profile picture is said to have a mustache but I just don't see it. The only thing that really leads me to believe this is the color scheme of the profile picture being the same as the I think Bisexual flag. I just seems weird to me that everyone is so set in stone maybe I'm just missing something but it really seems like it could be up in the air on the characters sexuality.
Please let me know what I'm missing or explain why you think something I said here leads to the character being LGBT.
You aren't missing out on much. Nothing confirmed yet. Just as usual, people were speculating about the new survivor/killer. It's just once the words LGBT come up the topic becomes hot and blow up into about 20 other threads in response.
-
It's all just about been said before, but it's just a non-issue being blown out of proportion. People can argue back and forth on this until they're blue in the face, but if an LGBT+ character was added in, just like any other diverse character it won't impact the typical gameplay one bit. Some would exaggerate and have you think the apocalypse is coming to DBD, but the world will still be spinning, tomorrow will still come, the sky will still be overhead. It's just something that is blown out of proportion on the forums, but in-game, it wouldn't play any different from normal.

#########?? Omg never thought people could take something so far like that and literally abuse the system to the point that a program was create. That actually disgusts me, thank god it isn't like that anymore
I'm going to chime in because I feel like MLGA is being a bit mischaracterized here without the context of why it was used. It isn't needed now since dedicated servers, but to be fair back in the days of p2p DBD, ping was one of the bigger factors of performance and it could highly influence in-game performance since it relied on killer's Internet to host. Killers could see survivor pings, and survivors could only see their own ping, so a 3rd party app like MLGA gained popularity so survivors could see killer's ping on DBD. It was used for lobby dodging sure, but it's not like it wasn't always without reason because no-region match-making meant high-ping killers being paired up with you, or a killer could just induce lag through lag-switching which was a lot easier back then/

I wouldn't look down in iri heads as much if 1. belt didn't make the oppressive control god combo when that's what they're trying to balance away from on each side 2. Huntresses' hitboxes weren't complete shizen, 3. They actually had a counter
