Hell no
-
Neither of those platforms have cross-progression
-
I don't think that would ever make sense lore-wise, but putting that aside, i don't see how they would make justice to the character. In the books he almost never assumes the clown form, it's always mimicking fear etc...
I'm not against putting him in the game, but i'm also not in favor. There are a lot of other characters that would fit this game better

Everything except the "Invulnerability Combo"?

I'm going to be getting the switch version for the exclusive Trapper cosmetics (but I probably won't if they dont cross progress due to a contract), the portable DBD is just a bonus lmao
I read somewhere that you can't use exclusives on another platform, even when cross progression comes

I wish I was good with Nurse or Oni. Since I am not, I'd just face a corner in the basement and give them the fast game that their hearts desire and back to the survivor queue that was hopefully 15 minutes or more.
It's better to close the game during the offerings screen, it will take 3+ minutes just to let them go back to queue

I agree, but the issue is sometimes attacks on a playstyle like "it takes no skill" can be interpreted as an attack on the person. People also need to be aware of this. I can attack a way you played without attacking you
OP is talking exactly about this. Why would you attack "the way" someone played? If you say that someone have no skill, you're absolutely insulting them. If you don't have anything relevant to say, just say GG and go to you next match
-
That's why undying was needed, sadly.

I feel like they're still not aware of the massive grind this game has.
They are aware, they want this extreme and endless grind in their game

Don't main her, it's not worth it. That are a whole lot of killers that are so much fun and less frustrating to play.

It really needs to be changed, makes no sesne for someone to stand so stupidly straight when in a horror game. The lil hunch they had made sense. They were being aware. Now they don't look scared at all, its like they know they are in a game where the killer is no threat
But the killer really is no threat

You were Bubba, in this situations you just need to get one of them. Camp till they die and proceed to get another one. If you can't, stand in a corner till they leave

By that time I will be a millionaire and retire from this game it won’t take that long a game can’t last that long on live service
I'm aware that this game won't last that long, but still... I can't comprehend why devs do things at such slow pace. They could adress almost all of useless perks by just changing numbers, but they don't do and won't do.
-
I feel OP, but not because of this update. Is because everything in this game takes forever to be done. They need 3 months to do minor tweaks to a few perks, and to do extremely minor buffs to low tier killers. At this pace this game will take 15 years to be somewhat balanced.
Almost everyone in the community agree that trapper and wraith should have some simple add-ons as base kit, but the devs never listen and when they do, is some minor tweak that doesn't adress the problem (i'm looking at you wraith and trapper). This is very disheartening. I'm not quitting this game, but i've been playing less and less recently.
-
God no. There would be no mindgames with this, just an easier game for survivors
-
@Killmaster said:
Unbreakable should be basekit and the Perk should give you unlimited tokens to revive yourself.
And pebble should stun the killer for 45 seconds

What's the point of hiding the hook states for Survivors? I can literally count the states.
But then SWF where 4 players are Claudettes couldn't mess with the killer by triking him into eat a DS. Silly you...

@Purple_Orc said:
So you fixed this.
- Prevent Victor from hiding under hooked survivors, which would make other survivors unable to destroy him.
But downed Survivors are still able to hide under a hooked survivor to keep from being picked up.
This exploit has been in the game for like a year or more but Victor has only been in the game a couple of months.
I also want to mention I didn't even bother to unlock the Twins and I think this is unfair..
I personally don't care, survivors think they're so smart going under the hook, but don't seem to realize that I'm camping half of their team

A few Buffs I recommend for Plague to streamline her ability without making it too Oppressive:
- Give survivors the Hindered status whenever they vomit for the duration of the vomiting (roughly 1.5-2 seconds). This is a small and periodic de-buff to survivors that makes the Plague more of a threat in a chase but not so much that she becomes OP or too oppressive.
- Also while a survivor vomits, give them a 6m AoE that infects everything within its radius. This allows the sickness to spread throughout the maps less predictably and reduces the workload on the Plague herself. Currently survivors spread the sickness to each other by rescuing an infected survivor, working on a gen with a fully infected survivor or healing a downed infected survivor, all of which require direct interactions, otherwise the Plague has to infect them and objects herself every time. Adding this will make the sickness spread feel more like an actual Plague, apply more pressure to the map for her, make the add-on's that increase infection time on objects more noticeable, increase the chances of the sickness spreading to other survivors, and help her gain the contagious (25bp) scoring events more often.
- Allow her to channel corrupt fountains from afar. Like Freddy's Gen Teleportation power, but I can't decide If I like the idea of her Teleporting to corrupt fountains which uses it up without giving her corrupt purge, or if she should simply be able to gain Corrupt Purge from across the map at the expense of her movement speed for 5 seconds. On one hand, If survivors cleanse they give her either incredible mobility or the best ranged attack in the game making it her choice in how to use them, on the other, she doesn't have to go to the fountains anymore and can gain her Corrupt Purge right after initiating a chase while giving survivors a small window of time to try and find cover, or gain distance from her. Either way would be a buff saves her precious time.
With these 3 changes, she would make life a little more difficult for survivors and really emphasize the choices survivors make regarding whether or not they cleanse, and when to do it strategically. With the first 2 buffs, infecting the whole team and chasing survivors is given a stronger edge that would encourage them to try and cleanse asap, but then with the 3rd buff, they are either giving her the ability to traverse the map quicker, or gain Corrupt Purge at more ideal times without having to go out of her way to obtain it. I Like these 3 buffs because they keep balance in mind and allow her to focus more on the chase and keeping up pressure on the map, instead of how it is right now: where she spends the majority of the beginning of the match trying to infect as many survivors as possible so that she'll be able to apply more pressure by the mid-end game. This is incredibly time consuming and frustrating for the player, and the infection mechanic itself doesn't really pose enough of a threat to survivors that would encourage them to cleanse vs remaining sick.
It's why I came up with these suggested buffs, but please tell me if you think they would make her too strong to go up against, because while I believe they have balance in mind, I also mained Plague for about a year since she initially came out... so I admit I am a little biased because I just want to see my go-to girl match up more evenly with the better designed and streamlined killers like Spirit, Bubba, and Blight.
It's sad to see good ideas like these and know that will never be implemented cause every single minor change in this game takes 3 to 4 months to happen

He refused to use anything but the chainsaw. I get most Bubba players prefer the chainsaw but this was more than just a preference.
If it worked, he was playing right. There's no reason to not use his power unless you're sure you won't land the hit

Yeah, this "buff" that he's receiving is cool but lame. Survivors still will have plenty of time to see him coming, spine chill will hard counter him, and those snores still will be loud AF. But don't worry, in another 2 years he'll received another minor tweak

A while ago someone posted that a mod or dev (I'm not sure which) encouraged toxic behavior on a stream of a fog whisperer (that person misteriously disappeared).
So yes, even tho I'm afraid of get banned for whatever reason, fog whisperers are allowed to do scummy things

Recover from exaustion while running would be too strong in the right hands, but I think that it should have Iron Will included in the perk, no blood and no sound would make it a more viable option

I'd still rather have the HUD we have now than the newer one.
For a game where every second counts, needing a few seconds for a whole glance of the screan will make you distracted for longer, you'll look at the HUD for info for the gens left, then the survivor health status, then your power cooldown. Now do this like 30 times a match.
The old one barely needs a second for every peace of information you need, and you can memorise the survivor's names/skins with each other so the "press escape and look at the survivors" problem can be avoided anyways, it's nice that it's in the new HUD, but the positions of every thing was just awfully placed.
So I hope they actually listen and change the position of the info, probably the biggest complaint about the HUD.
You got a point, but I'm hoping that you will get most of these informations by peripheric view. But again, I need to test it first
-
I actually don't mind, I don't think it will make any difference whatsoever. But it is a improvement to don't need to press esc to know who is who
-
It will be nerfed soon, don't worry
-
I don't think it will make a big difference, survivors will still have plenty of time to detect him, and there's spine chill, of course

Bro I'm trying to do a somewhat positive thread here, since there are a bunch of other threads already complaining (many times, rightfully so) about the Undying nerf. Can you please not make this post about Undying, too? :(
Sorry bro
-
Coup de Grace, there should be other requirements besides "gens getting popped". If a token was gained by hooking someone, then it would be way more reliable and therefore could be used in more builds
-
@Orionbash said:
"Ruin + Undying gets cleansed at the start of the match and then I'm left with 2 perks. Its soooo easily counterable."
Why do you care then? 🤔 Just apply pressure.
Cause survivors have a broken and incounterable combo for over 2 years (DS and UB) and nothing is done and probably won't be done. Meanwhile killers got a combo that is counterable and requires them to aPpLy PrEsSuRe to work, but it's gutted ASAP by the devs.
Oh, and Pop got nerfed as well
-
Nothing will be done to reduce the grind, this is a feeble incentive just to make some people happy that they're getting some crumbs, but devs don't want to end or reduce the monstrous grinding that players must go through
-
@Ivaldi said:
So.. Killers.. can you explain something to me? Yes we all know by now, you guys want DS nerfed.. But do you guys even realize that the sole reason the perk even exists to begin with is due to the way a lot of Killers play? If you didn't resort to tunneling, survivors would have never needed it to begin with.
As a killer main, I've never once had an issue with DS. Why? Because i'd rather lose knowing I refused to tunnel someone.
And we know, we know.. You had that 1 rare occurrence where you downed 4 survivors in 60 seconds but still got hit with DS and that survivor was able to loop you for 5 gens, save all of his teammates and escape.
You're the one that makes the choice to tunnel someone and eat their DS, when instead you could just slug them and create even more pressure. If they have UB? So be it.. that was still 40 seconds that they were out of the game.
Lmao, you lose just to follow some made up rule created by survivors.
Aside from that, survivors get off the hook and go do a gen in front of the killer cause they have immunity, and if the killer slugs he got up with unbreakable, and if the killer eat the DS that's a long ass stun that will remove all the pressure he got

Devs why are you satisfied with the state of the Nurse? She is plagued with so many bugs that have been there for months...maybe even years? It's extremely frustrating to come out of blinks inches away from survivors only for the game to decide I wanted to hit a wall or a pallet instead. Not to mention the inconsistency of blink distances due mysterious reasons, issues with latency, etc. I don't understand the complacency when it comes to older killers, just because not many people play her doesn't mean she should be neglected to this degree. It really feels like being handicapped and regardless if I win or lose I can only play so many games before I have to switch killers due to how frustrating it gets.
They wanted to delete nurse but couldn't cause players spent money on skins, so they made her absolutelly miserable to play so only a handful of people bother to even try learn her.
-
No, we already have that with plague, and it's actually detrimental cause you can't hear ######### besides that ASMR of her
-
If it is not an indoor map, both totens will probably be gone before you can get the exposed status effect, and then you will play a game with 2 perks

Try running devour hope + undying.
We're so obsessed with slowdown, maybe we should instead be obsessed with killing the survivors before all gens get done.
As a retired Sally Slugson, this. If everyone is bleeding on the ground, no one is doing gens. The BPS you gain at the end of the match is around 20k, but well... priorities

In my opinion a glass cannon killers power is considered op in one area and horrible in another.
Nurse - high map and chase ability but gets counted by cutting off the information.
Cannibal - high chase ability with the ability to instadown multiple survivors but has little map presence.
What are other killers that have this ability?
Maybe i'm wrong on this one, but i read somewhere that nurse doesn't acutally have a great map mobility. Between time to charge blink, maximum distance of the blink and fatigue, you might as well walk with a 4/6 m/s killer in a straight line. It sure feels this way at least.
Of course she can kinda ignore obstacles, but I fell much more control over the map with Oni, Blight and Freddy.

I think the whole bloodweb is an outdated system which doesn't work well with the amount of perks there are now. If you have all the perks unlocked, you would have to dance at the level 50 for eternity before fishing out the perks you need. And the more characters and perks they add, the longer it will take. I hope they come up with a new system of unlocking perks for characters eventually.
Don't worry, they will make some kind of tweak for this in about 3 years

It's totally not useless..! I've seen it help a lot of random killer streamers in chases. Especially if you get a dull totem spawning next to the pallet in shack.
Unfortunately, I figure that the dull totem aura reading part of the perk will go when Undying is cleansed. I hope it doesn't, though, because if it does, Undying is completely and utterly nerfed to the ground with this change, tbh.
Also, I agree with you. But I play SWF almost exclusively and have no issue getting gens done and maybe even leaving Ruin up the entire game. I haven't played too many solo games within the past couple of months, but Ruin/Undying was completely oppressive in a decent portion of those games. Ruin/Undying is just one of those perk combinations that murdered solo queue, and only occasionally made life easier against SWF. I think Corrupt/Pop was and is much more consistent (and is still my least favorite build to go against)
The aura is gone whenever any HEX is destroyed. Undying is just a copy of the other HEX now.

I played on switch, and good lord what a miserable experience. A Claudette spin me around the corn for about 30 seconds before i could land a hit. Turn is too slow, FPS is horrendous... not for me

Don't do that, if you play killer you will regret till the end of times. It's absolutelly horrible to play with a controller
