What if instead of being from M1 attacks, it comes from your power? If the killer uses their power before or while hitting you, you get a stack.
Literally wouldn't work for half the killers, or pretty much any of them except nurse, freddy, huntress, and spirit
-
I don't understand how killers are 'getting boned' because survivors are complaining. As many people have said, the Legion change was needed due to the boring to go against style and i honestly think he will be stronger after the update if people try and play him differently, which means i can finally get my moneys worth. Also i play trapper and billy mostly, and i'm not having much trouble at all getting kills, unless its a 4 man survive with friends. The irony with this thread is you say their crying but you are the one complaining right now dude.

They could do something simple and gives you different amounts of shards and bloodpoints depending on your rank when the reset drops.
I know right? it wouldn't even be hard to do

So you think the way to balance this perk is make It so that It doesnt have any counter in the game? Nice :D
No, i never said i know how to nerf it, however i find it ridiculous that it's useless against billy and nurse but amazing against freddy. Balance it among killers before you nerf it, as then it won't work at all against some killers, and work ok against others, which gives survivors another situational perk that no one will run unless it's some toxic SWF group and then it's even more disgusting
-
add rank rewards...
-
@Ihatelife said:
They don't want implement something like that. But they're trying to make more ways to get a bloodpoints.
But why would they not want to? it would ONLY benefit the game

They wont separate swf and solo players since the 89 or 90% survivor play swf
They just don't though. Like 70% play solo
-
You're right SWF needs a lobby rework, but not this. It needs to be so when you finish a game, you can return to the SWF lobby with your party, to avoid wasting time
-
Loads of vaults are broken again. The latest bug is windows don't get blocked off for survivors
-
It is indeed weird how the perk works worse against better killers like billy. I think any time you are injured you should gain a stack, that way killers can get it out of the way early game so it can't be a crutch towards the end
-
I'll tell you the core reason people DC: There is no reward for ranking up, only punishment as you get harder killers. Also it's practically impossible to go past rank 8 now anyway
-
How about you only get you perk choice every 2 levels, as in there's a choice of 2 at level 25, but then none at 26, then 2 again at 27 and so on, just so you would still get them slightly slowly, but you still get a choice
-
I think perk tiers are pointless and annoying. I don't think their should be different levels, and i think the colours need to be updated. Ultra rare perks should come back and then it scales with green and purple. Yellow wouldn't be needed as all perks would be tier 3. Just some QOL stuff that would be nice

I dont like this idea the reason its combine with thrill the hunt and most of the killers are nurse and billy that makes far too ez also it will become meta
Yeh but combined with thrill of the hunt, you then only have two other slots, one of which will have a hex perk in presumably, so it is a big sacrifice
-
@Poweas said:
That works. The other thread aimed to make it disgustingly OP
Yeh that's exactly what i thought. I just wanted to honour that i stole one of his ideas.
-
How about tunnel vision but without the current affect?
Or on the complete other hand, how about blindness prevents you from seeing lit totems as lit, so they all look dull (as well as the current affect)
-
I was never a rank one, but I did pretty well for myself both a survivor and killer, but lately I've been doing terrible regardless of which side I play and I have no idea why.
Sometimes i find if i get into one short bad luck streak, i get into a negative mindset and kind of unconsciously try less. Just try and hype your self up for a few games and get back into the swing of things. Either that or switch up your perks / killer / playstyle
-
@Angelicus23 said:
Nope
Why nope. Honestly when i first read it on the other post i thought OP, but then i also thought often survivors cleanse dull totems anyway, so it would just be a subtle nerf to Noed. Also there's a high chance it would get destroyed by an unaffected survivor before you can hit everyone, yet it would still have some affect as whilst those survivors were affected, they couldnt find you other hex perks and waste time cleansing dull totems
-
@T0xicTyler said:
Self-Care is a waste of a perk slot and far too many survivors crutch on it. Seriously, try running without it and use Iron Will or something in its place.
I so agree with this. It should be called selfish care for survivors wasting time with it not doing objectives
-
I hate playing against leather faces because for the love of me and all things holy i can’t seem to get around that chainsaw but with practice comes greatness.
When i play killer i often find megs very annoying.
When i play survivors, obviously I hate Legion but Hag would have to take the cake.
Sometimes though as survivor i feel like dwights, davids, jeffs, and bills often do more harm than good as team mates
-
literally forget all of it except the seeing hex totems as dull totems part. make it so first hit gives blindness and 'totem blindness' and thats it

Are you stupid? Killers have got way less buffs than survivors and there's a BIG DIFFERENCE. With Spirit Fury, you lose a pallet, but with MOM the time it takes to hit a survivor again could be the time it takes to repair a gen if they're good in a chase. So, you think a gen and a pallet have the same importance?
Also, killers SHOULD be buffed because the game is unfairly balanced towards survivors.
Sorry are you stupid? When have survivors been buffed, it's killer killer killer every time, and i play both roles so i think i have a pretty good view on the matter
-
@Well_Placed_HexTotem said:
The only comparable killer perk is Rancor. It also punishes you for doing the objective but it has downsides all match in the aura. Plus you still have to catch that survivor.
MoM has no counter outside of using a small selection of killers and only attack a certain way. Plus Rancor only affects the Obsession... I’ve had killer matches where three survivor shows had MoM 😐
It all goes back to how unbalanced the chases are in the game. It’s too easy to run the non-meta killers for long periods of time, which is an issue because of how short the games can go.
That's not a problem with the perk, that's a problem with killers being unbalanced

@RakimSockem name one buff that killers got equivalent to an extra hit the majority of the killer roster can't tech against.
Broken pallets where you can hit the survivor through them
The DS nerf
The latest Endgame phase
The healing nerf
Various individual killer buffs
What the hell you on about pal

Not sure what you're talking about since Iron Will never worked in the Dying State.
No im pretty sure it did back in the alpha
-
I disagree, as then survivors that crawl away would never get found
-
@Detective_Jonathan said:
lol how is this an exploit it is literally a visual bug. I had some streamer accuse me of abusing it simply because the window was blocked for him but not for me.
Ya'll need to chill out.
Yes but the survivor new it was working. Literally every time i went in a chase with her, she would go to a tractor, and just switch sides repeatedly. You can't not realise after vaulting the same window 10 times in a row. Also no it's not a visual bug, as if that was the case the survivor wouldn't see the entity spikes, but could still not vault, however she quite obviously could vault.
-
@WaffleFalafel said:
If you weren't in a chase, then she can vault all she wants. There actually is a bug where survivors can vault a window way past 3 times while in a chase, but its nothing the survivor can purposefully do. So, it would just be a bug not an exploit. Unless a dev says otherwise of course.
An exploit is using a bug to your advantage? And i was in a chase with her the entire time

Spirit Fury stuns the killer (a drawback for the killer and a positive for the survivor). MoM gives the survivor a sprint burst and slows the killer (a drawback for the killer and a positive for the survivor).
Remind me again how SF is equivalent to MoM.
Yeh but MoM also reveals the survivor, and takes longer to activate than spirit fury, and can only be used once. Your point is?
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Happening once a while even with Bamboozle. Devs are working on this bug as far as I know.
KK, thanks for letting me know. Do you know if it's specific to the tractor vault, or if it is for all vaults in some matches?
-
Whilst im still trying to get the right video format to upload it, here is a screenshot of her vaulting it whilst its blocked off. I know other survivors can block it off and another can still use it, but that is not what happened here.
-
I really don't think he needs any big buffs (sorry if that's not what your proposing i haven't actually read it). He's actually a fairly balanced killer, the problem is he's very boring to play as in my opinion
-
10 minutes is ridiculous what are you on about
-
@AlexAnarchy said:
Noed and bloodwarden too strong?
Bloodwarden only holds for 1 of 3 minutes - too strong...BS
Noed - can be prevented form happening at all and in 3 minutes can destroy the hex totem - too stroing...Nice try for another noed nerf..
You literally have 3 minutes to gtfo out of the game now, stop whining that you ca'nt bully for longer than 3 minutes now...
NOED will be weak against SWF, who will cleanse it before opening that gates, which is the opposite of what we want. NOED is getting buffed in general as now if someone is downed in say the first minute of endgame, you no longer have the option to find NOED and save the person in time. NOED being a hex perk is rather pointless now as only SWF will manage to get all 5 (or 6?) totems, but other than that, it's very unlikely you will be able to find it fast enough in the end game.
As for blood warden, you can say it's only one minute, but which minute is unknown. It's impossible to know wether a killer has the perk, so if a killer catches someone on the second minute of endgame, and hooks them on the third, anyone still in the trial is dead for certain. It essentially secretly reduces the timer to 2 minutes. Sure you could say survivors should just leave, but then it will be the case of every time someone is caught when the gates are open, they may as well be dead as no one will save them. This is boring for both sides as the game will end prematurely.
-
@Mister_xD said:
noed: not too strong. cleanse the totems before opening a door / before the last gen is done
bloodwarden: i bet it will stop the timer / make it go down slower
rancor: nope. obsession can always just leave.
dark sense: i think its fine with revealing the aura after the last gen.
bitter murmur: ^^^
hope: agreed but has nothing to do with the endgame change
wake up: ^^^
remember me: works fine imo
left behind: yes. with the new hatch mechanic, that perk is literally useless now.
adrenaline: dont think it needs to be reworked tbh
I never thought of the fact that noed can be cleansed before the exit gates are opened, but then surely that buffs SWF as they can communicate and agree not to open the gates. I also took back what i said about Rancor, and for the others i mainly think this is a good opportunity to rework them. They don't exactly need it
-
Nah the difference is, i'm a good killer, who can actually see when things are unfair, whilst you are some idiotic leatherface main, who probably never gets a kill unless he face camps with the chainsaw, and continues to comment toxic things on the forums about entitled survivors every time someone even slightly suggests a buff to them. I don't even understand why you posted a reply.
-
A timer isn't an especially big deal unless the killer had noed or bloodwarden, as they can drastically waste survivors time in the end game. Also, how am i being dramatic, all i said is some perks won't work anymore, and some could be changed to work better around it
-
@Ihatelife said:
lmao where is adrenaline at this list? Too much survivor side?
didnt think of it, il add it now
-
@gantes said:
Yes, it's clearly a buff for kills during the end game. Survivors gain literally nothing with the changes. Which is needed IMO since killers were powerless after the gates were powered and the game could be dragged for ages and held hostage etc. I think the changes will be for the better.
Though i definitely agree, i still think with these changes in place, perks like NOED will be less balanced, and could do with some changes
-
Though i like most of the new mechanics, i swear the hatch change is identical to the last one that was disregarded
-
Lol this is so true, but the community is gradually killing it. Notice how every time the community get what they want it gets worse?

@Spectro said:

Or... you know, just remove SWF? I'd rather have this than buffing killers to be able to stomp SWF and screw over solo survivors in the process.
I'm a survivor main and I hate SWF groups so much. IMO they can just get rid of it and I honestly wouldn't care.
Or do neither of these things, and instead Nerf SWF
