I really like this thread, so here are some of mine for killer.
- Unless you're very high up the ladder of MMR or survivors bring very specific builds, the game is for the most part balanced.
- A killer being fun to play and fun to play against is more important than strength but they should have an equal balance. A great example of this is Blight who is all three.
- As a Billy main, his rework didn't gut him and he is still an A tier killer.
- Most SWF aren't OP, and are just regular players who are trying to have fun with their friends.
- Swamp is worse than Haddonfield.
- Noed needs a nerf, its unrealistic to expect survivors to do all 5 totems if they're solo or if they're playing on an inside map.
With that, here are some of mine for survivor.
- Exhaustion perks shouldn't exist (specifically SB and DH) and if you're good at the game you won't need to use them. Additionally it's more fun not to use them.
- Flashlights are the worst item and unless you're doing challenges you shouldn't really bring them.
- Tbagging is fine IF it's to try and get the killers attention off another survivor instead.
- Spinechill is heavily overrated.
- Self Care isnt a bad perk if used right.
And finally, some general ones.
- Most sets are completely fine. If you think otherwise, don't buy them. Some however should have the head/weapon available separately.
- Most reworked maps are completely fine, with the worst two realms being Haddonfield and Swamp, two that havent been reworked.
- Hawkins Lab going is a good thing as that map was extremely unfun to play on.
Probably missed a few but that's all of mine.
-
Average Undying Hope game.
-
While we're at it, let's add alot of pride flags.
I for one would love a pan flag to use.
-
I play killer mainly, recently I've played a lot of Billy and Pinhead although I want to start maining Doc and trying out Hag as MMR is in effect.
When playing killer I usually give it my all, although I do give survivors a free escape if they play well or if they were nice.
From time to time I also play survivor, and usually I play as Jake with Open Handed, Bond, Borrowed Time and WGLF.
When playing survivor I meme around a bit, especially if the killer is doing the same. Usually this involves pointing at them when they clearly already see me, and shaking myself left and right while I'm in the dying state (which fills me with glee if they shake their head back).
-
So would you rather killers would be able to relight their totems but they only work within a 24 meter radius?
-
Unlink weapons from sets and certain heads from sets for survivors where it makes sense, otherwise I think they should focus on other things.
-
I like it as certain killers, these being Demo, Wraith, Nemesis and Pinhead.
Anyone else or survivor and I find it relatively boring, and its probably my second least favourite realm out there.
-
Frank's/Joey's grunts ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
First of all, no. Everyone would use it on either Nurse, Blight or Spirit and people who play them will have a super long queue time which isnt fair.
Second of all, Pinhead isn't OP. By most he's regarded as a C tier killer (although I'd argue B tier after learning him). If he needs anything it's some sort of small buff.
Finally, since when did Overwatch have a hero banning system?
-
Great on killer, frustrating on survivor.
-
I'd love if it was something like "Get x amount of kills with y or escape x amount of times with y." X being the number of kills/escapes required and y being the killer or survivor that released with the patch. Make it small too so it ain't too hard.
-
Making a killer mad isnt my goal at all, to me a win is if I had fun. If I escaped but I was on gens the whole match it's a loss in my book. If the killer got mad from me looping them, then I may have won if I had fun in the chase.

Thank you guys, I've successfully reported them. Let's hope I won't have to deal with any of that anymore
Glad to hear that ^^
-
For some reason, it's only after the last gen has been completed, not after the hatch is closed.

I'm still not out of the match lol. The Hackers are keeping me in the game. The egc timer ran out but I'm still stuck in the game

Aight you may need to take the ban and leave. Then, make sure to report them in the end game screen. If you dont do that you wont be able to send a ticket through support.
Additionally, if they're on steam, make sure to copy their profiles as they may change their name.

This should be where you send a ticket, apologies if I'm wrong.

If not all survivors are at the gate, it almost always buys time with the killer getting annoyed and going over to chase them out.
If they are all at the gate, then they're just being ######### or getting revenge for the killer playing toxic, usually the first one.
-
The only right awnser.
-
Wendigo from Until Dawn, when using its power the Wendigo moves much faster but can only faintly see survivors unless they move, in which they glow up orange.
During the power, you can either do a pounce attack similar to a Demogorgon shred, or you can do a screech during it, causing any survivors within 8 meters to scream and reveal their location.
The power would have a time limit (to prevent the best map pressure in the game) and missing an attack would remove you from your power.

Hypocritical

I’m definitely considering maining him after learning how to consistently find his box.
-
My best guess is that it's somewhat relatable to a lot of people to be missing a father or father-like figure in their life.
Men do tend to be more violent than women so it would make sense that many characters to feature a somewhat abusive father. Personally I dislike this stereotype as to me my father is the person I care about the most due to how nice he is, but unfortunately it is true that men are more violent.
Men also tend to work more dangerous jobs (which although is a stereotype, it is somewhat true), especially before the last generation.
As for entity reasons, no idea.
I wouldnt be opposed to an abusive mother or a very caring father character to spice it up a bit, however only if it fits. No reason to throw random lore at a character if it makes no sense.
-
I tried, spent 15 minutes waiting in a queue as killer, found a lobby but within another 10 minutes only one survivor joined.
So for now, unless I'm playing with a streamer I like, I'm sticking to cross play.
-
Personally I'm fine with his nerf to ADS but I'm against his TR nerf.
-
If they had infinite range then I'd definitely consider them too strong, but at 28m I'm going to say they're for the most part fine, especially considering you can't bless them instantly but it rather takes a bit of time.
-
Don't name call people or use slurs.
Me who literally calls everyone I know a twat.
-
After watching the recent Otz video on how to consistently find his box, I say he's fine the way he is. If you find the box first early in the match (while using LP) then you have a very strong start already.
-
Ngl this might be my favourite backstory we've had for a survivor, especially the ending.

Dear lord, insane how people still think BHVR only cares for one side.
And because BHVR is so survivor sided, they buffed Trapper and Plague, right? And that's also why they nerfed keys into the ground, right?
Not to mention all the other good changes that killers have gotten in the past.
But how will the Spirit mains get their easy 4k with Tinkerer, Ruindying and Noed now? D:
(/s just incase someone takes this seriously)

Temporary..... Are you sure about that? Or are you joking? Because the POV change is not temporary, since the nerf it has been the same, bhvr hasn't fixed it.
If overheat does not affect you, you must be a god like billy because I use double engravings and 1 miss almost puts me in overheat, 2 saws without addons, or you backrev only.
Poor phrasing on my part, it has only caused problems for me temporarily, and while I dislike it, I have adjusted to it.
As for overheat, I do like to consider myself a really good Billy, although maybe I M1 a tad bit too much. But it wins me games consistently so that's what matters to me I suppose.

She doesnt have a slow recharge.
She doesn't have high mind game potential, and without a doubt doesnt have require lots of experience to understand.
She is given relatively accurate ways, although when going over triple the survivors speed and in full control, she shouldnt be able to know exactly where survivors are. These accurate ways include:
- Breathing
- Grunts of Pain
- Foot Steps
- Grass or any other rustling noise
- The vaulting of windows or pallets
- Scratch Marks
And that's only taking into account things inside the chase (so not finding someone healing, doing gens e.t.c).

So not as bad as changing POV, nerfing addons, bad mechanic, crashing against anything that is not on screen, also like nurse who still has massive bugs after the nerf and the twins who has a 5 second cooldown every time they use victor.
The only thing that affected me was changing his POV (which even then was temporary), and a few of the hitboxes that are stupid (like tiny branches that clearly shouldnt have a hitbox the size of a Huntress hatchet).
Otherwise, I rarely use add ons unless it's on a killer I'm uncomfortable with or I'm doing challenges, and I very rarely crash into things. Additionally, overheat very seldom comes into play for me, and I usually only get it when I'm intentionally trying to get it, although I do think that engravings should effect it in a certain way to the point that by the time you charge the chainsaw it's still equivalent to a quarter.
-
Been confirmed that his nerf is not that bad, and imo Billy's wasnt too bad from his rework (other than add ons).
-
Free kill for the killer bc I feel bad for them.
-
Jake!
-
Considering I look like I'm made of sticks, none of them.
-
A few add on changes, otherwise he's completely fine.
-
I like it. My matches feel much more accurate and much more close, especially on the killer side of things.
My teammates are no longer rubbish, nor are most of my opponents.
My only complaint are my queue times as killer, which tend to be relatively long.
-
I dont think the first part of that is the fault of BHVR...
-
If you asked me this a few months back I'd 100% agree, now however I feel that it's an above average perk. Unless you're facing a stealth killer or Spirit, the perk isn't great and facing a stealth killer ain't too common. It is a crutch perk aswell (when I say that I mean it's something you'll get addicted to and find hard to play without in future).
I think there are much better info perks out there, but if you enjoy Spinechill then go ahead and keep on using it.
-
None, Billy (My main for the past two months or so) didnt effect me at all, I never used add one (nor do I on any killer unless it's a meme/challenge), and Ive very rarely overheated with him unless im intentionally going for it. I can even win without slowdown relatively consistently (although on Haddonfield, Badham and Swamp I tend to completely flop).
Sometimes I'm glad he was nerfed because I think his old form wouldve been real annoying with Ruindying Tinkerer.
-
How did it go bad if you're starting with T3 Nemesis!?!? You're avoiding having to get 4 hits with your power early game.
Killers mains are so bad smh my head.
-
IW is enough to make me think Jake is better than any of the others, although that may be because I dislike SB and Adrenaline.
-
Could go for a better weapon though.
-
Its happening to me too unfortunately :/ also a Series X player so must be Xbox only as others have suggested.
-
Edgy teen, sounds semi accurate.

It still blows my mind that they even care about patching out unlinking linked sets and modding when the game is so incredibly busted and void of diverse content. It's like they really focus on doing the opposite of what people enjoy sometimes.
I'm going to say its most likely because they had to work on it due to the licensing with Silent Hill. All of their characters has forced linked sets which leads people to believe the license holders wanted it, not BHVR, which in turn could lead to some bad things if that promise wasnt kept due to some bug.
-
Nurse is a close second.
-
Hag, I'd genuinely rather face loads of Nurses and Spirits over a Hag.
