This guy beat me to it. All No Mither does it make you a prime target to the killer.
I die a little bit inside when I join a pack of randoms and one or more has No Mither - cause 99% of the time they suck in a chase and will probably kill themselves on first hook.
Gonna apologize ahead of time,,totally doing Adept David xD expect some No Mithering Potato'ing from me. I'm decent at chases, but not enough to really pull off a No Mither ego build

Whoops xD seems the forums auto-filled in xD meant to tag @MandyTalk but it randomly picked you, sorry!

I actually prefer the Farm maps over the MacMillian Maps :\ for some reason I do the worst on those...
-
I only have a nitpick with NOED activating when the Hatch is closed, which means it's just 1 Survivor VS 1 Killer...its already in the Killer's favor unless the Survivor is good at hiding and slow opening the Gate OR if the Gates are far enough..... NOED feels like overkill then.
-
Clown, this shouldn't even be a debate...even on PS4 I see more Nurses than Clown....
-
I'm about to Prestige Michael Myers after I use all his Addons & Offerings up. Gonna Prestige 3 Michael Myers, Leather Face and Freddy. Most likely those will be the only ones I ever Prestige as they are Legendary Horror Icons and lacking Cosmetics (Michael's Hospital Gown isn't my kind of cosmetic) so the Prestige Cosmetics are the only option. Not to mention they look REALLY good on those three, and if any Killers deserve some extra, it's def those three!
-
"Horror isn't even about fun anyways."
Lmao, I wish I had the "LOL" button for that statement alone... Trying to argue only a 4K is a "win" despite free escapes with hatch either open on their own or a Survivor using a Key on a closed one, despite Gens not being done and a Killer dominating but "whoops, you still ost!" Yeah,
-
If you MUST use it, my recommendation.
No Mither
Iron Will
Dead Hard
Spine Chill
-
It's intended and imo, as a Killer main who plays Plague a decent bit...its fine that a Pallet stun knocks us out of it. It's a really strong enhanced ability, getting pallet stunned and keeping Corrupted Purge, would result in a lot of free hits. I can't recall is DS and Head On cancel it as well? If they did, not sure I like thst as much.

They are indeed pretty lame. I dont plan on paying for the rift pass and I only play killer so thankfully none of survivors in any of my game will be seeing "cute" charms adorning any of my hooks.
And i personally feel like the survivors versions of charms are pretty dum. Its so small and it goes on the survivora belts... When are killers ever going to notice something like that.
(Also play on console and its pretty bad as far as graphics go so even less chance to notice these little knick knacks charm things)
But if thats what rocks some peoples boats. Good for them.
When picking em up by their booty? :3

Better and more interesting add-ons, out of so many of Killers, Legion has the most boring and lackluster ones imo.
The only other changes I want is for Feral Frenzy to not be immediately be cancelled on one missed attack, have it drain the power bar by a bit, only allowing like 3 Hits max. Faster vaulting when in Feral Frenzy would be appreciated...
-
I dun mind em tbh... *slow shrug* I'll be happy if every Killer gets a Charm version on themselves.
-
I "Won" as long as I had fun and made some good Bloodpoints. Yeah I always strive for a 3-4K in a game, but if I enjoyed the match and only got a 1-2K and/or made a good amount of Bloodpoints....I had a good game

Man, it's sad that my knee-jerk reaction is "If THIS low-priority thing is your tolerance limit, you're going to have a bad time with this game."
But I do not mean to belittle your frustration. This is a thing that should absolutely work right, especially on very difficult achievements like the one you're trying to finish.
I have dealt with plenty with this game, but yeah it's not high priority...but because unlike a lo of other Trophies/Achievements...this one kinda requires a lot to align to work and is easily thwarted. The fact I got it on my first try (yea yea low Rank) and was just denied it for no reason other than the game being broken just frustrates me. I wouldn't care if I messed up or had Survivors stop me...
*sighs heavily*
-
As a Killer main I only loosely use Sweaty for Killers that slug the 3rd Survivor and search for the last one. *slow shrugs*
-
BHVR sadly jus cant really get a handle on Totem spawns :/ I wish Totems had a different mechanic or way to be implemented so they aren't instantly found & cleansed. Maybe have Totems not visible for a couple moments/minutes, or something....because totem spawn locations can never seem to be properly balanced....either it last a couple seconds/minutes where it is insanely easy to find....or you get lucky and it lasts long enough to get some work in.
I remember there's a Totem spawn location on Yamakoa Estate thstvis 2 footsteps away from where a Survivor can spawn....I had that happen. I literally sit through the 360 camera pan right before I can control my character and during that spin...BAM Hex Totem...right there...cleansed before the Killer could so much as scratch their own as, let alone move around.
Totems themselves need an overhaul or Hex Perks need more protection or failsafes for em...
-
Nea: Harajuku head & pants + Cyberpunk Jacket!
Pig: Second Chance Head+Biker's Gear chest+The Saw weapon
The rest I dun really mix too much
-
Freddy, Huntress, Hag and Michael Myers (jus a lil bit)
EDIT: Hillbilly too, somehow misread the thread as including him with Nurse & Spirit...
-
Monto & Puppers. Occasionally I'll watch HybridPanda and Tru but I cant watch em,for too long, as sometimes their videos/matches feel pent up salt/disdain if things aren't perfect.

You have to double pip now. They "fixed" it awhile back.
I still find it so damn backwards how the game has Survivors just escape for Adept but Killers can't simply kill for theirs. Like I still can't wrap my head around the design that Killers need a 2 pip and have much more work required but Survivors can jus hang back, do as little or as much to get the Doors opened and get the Trophy.

You pretty much have the usual go-to perk setup in mind there.
Now just make a generous sacrifice to your preferred luck-related pagan deity to decrease the chances you get survivors perfectly content with sitting in a locker/dcing just to cuck you.
Thanks for the assurance!
Lady Luck and the RNG Gods will do as they see fit then!
-
I appreciate the advice everyone! Whispers is actually a great suggestion. I never run the Perk in my general plays, but I'll actually try running it now!

I'm not sure how I could implement Bamboozle into my play style but I can see a use for it. It automatically blocks the window after one vault, correct?
Yes that's what it does. It also allows you to vault windows faster as well. The strength behind it is for closing long/safe loops and force the Survivor to run elsewhere and preferably less safe. It's great for Killers like Clown, Wraith & Michael Myers, maybe Ghost Face, to close out some of the more unforgiving loops (thinking the long Sheds/Barns/Garages). It's not meant to be a super killer Perk, but does help a fair bit, esp against Survivors thst do abuse and rely too heavily on looping the same area over an over. Some loop areas are ridiculous, with Bambizzle it can cut that down to size, possibly more so since (imo) so few Killers use it.
-
Pop Goes the Weasel is 100% meta and super useful, especially paired with Dying Light & Thanatophobia! Bamboozle is really good too, though not used as much as it once was.

I would personally do it, it does increase the odds of better items showing up
It really doesn't have a noticeable difference that's been disproven a fair bit on the forums here.
Only Prestige if you absolutely want the Bloody Cosmetic pieces amd/or if you have nothing left to work towards. I'm personally only looking to Prestige Michael Myers, Leatherface and Freddy. It's just a LOT of commitment, time and Bloodpoints. Plus if you've invested and gained a lot of Perks...I wouldn't Prestige those characters till much later.
Also good idea to mostly/only Prestige during Double Bloodpoint Events so you can maximize it.
-
For myself as a console player, I personally suck with Nurse, Hillbilly and Clown.
I LOVE Clown to death, but until I can get better Perks on him for chases (Spirit Fury & Enduring) I just always have an upward climb to do good or better against coordinated Survivors, where as every other Killer I play, I can do really well with...I feel his ability is great in design but isn't as potent as other abilities and I feel less powerful & impactful to a match :/

I don't have the Hallowed Cosmetics for Clown yet, but these are the looks I alwayw use for him. The bottom being my fav, with the Bloody Purple outfit and the shaving razorblade, Mr. Cutty 🤡 🔪
-
Vommy Mommy jus wants to give you some love 🤮 💚
-
I personally wont ever use it simply because I like using Balanced Landing and Dead Hard to extend a chase during one, rather than a speed burst at the start. I also jus hate the idea of having to tip-toe a lot so as to not waste it accidentally.
-
Sure, when Gens don't pop so damn fast when you don't constantly harass the Gens.
-
Spirit Fury and Thantaophobia elude me a LOT.
-
Good, I can practice on some Killers and attempt some Trophies without as muxh BS or hassle as I would currently

And he needs some damn cosmetics. A copy/paste of his outfits from MKX would be great.
Pretty Lady Leatherface has always and will always be my most requested Cosmetic to be added to this game, followed by New Nightmare Freddy.
-
All I can say atm...
-
Three best:
1. Art design. The design of this game, esp, the look and music is just top notch. I absolutely love the art team thst designs the cosmetics, the Perk/add-ons/offering icons. All of it is great to look at. The murals made for new events and cosmetic releases are fantastic. Including lore a bit here too. It's just, imo, a very interesting world to dig into.
2. Interesting Killers to play as & overall the design & concept of Perks &loadouts (for bith Killers & Survivor s). There's a huge plethora of different Killers to play as with mostly all unique and fun abilties to,utilize, alongside their fantastic personalities
3. Love the Perks, add-ons & offerings that offer different ways to go about playing a match. I love the variety of playing as Killer or Survivor. Once you get some Perks for both sides, different opportunities open up. Playing a Hex-Roulette build or a jumpscare Myers is immensely satisfying.
Three worst:
1. The Grind. Even if its been improved bit by bit...I still find the grind to be annoying and unfun. It takes WAY too long and too many Bloodpoints to go through each character to get them a bunch of Perks, let alone the ones you're specifically after AND even then, getting all 3 Ranks of it. Sure we get Double Bloodpoints here n there and offerings...but when several hundred thousand BPs is just barely a nudge, I feel the Grind just prevents me from playing even more with how overwhelming it can be to try to level up &,loadout Killers and Survivors. Especially with how frequently new characters are added in, which makes it more daunting for new &,curious players & can put them off. Which is usually where the veteran players that already amassed most, if not all, Perks and levels just cant see the problematic nature of DBD's grind system.
2. Latency/Lag and general instability with the game itself. Not much to go on here but, the game sometimes is a buggy, laggy mess. Had a game with a potato internet from the killer where there were huge delays in,actions...just killed off any fun...may have even been lagwitching, sometimes it's hard to,tell.
3. Finally, a chunk of the community. Simply put there are still a bit too much in toxicity and trolling within the game and it's playerbase. Ive had games where a Survivor has sandbagged & bullied others, had this happen last night when playing with my GF and two Claudettes kept body blocking her and ended up getting her tunnled & killed early...making it miserable for her. I've had games where a Survivor would follow me around and fast vault and potato on Gens TRYING to get me killed. There's no excuse for this behavior and worst yet, there's no real punishment for it. People being petty and DC on first downs or before getting hooked, just to troll or not accept their mistakes. I love playing this game....but I don't love playing with the rest of the players when this crap starts happening.

Killer: With the exception of Nurse & Hillbilly, I enjoy and love every Killer almost equally. I play em all mostly about the same. For the ones I play a lil more:
-Michael Myers: I love his gameplay & Halloween musical cues. Ge has a great toolkit and the memes with him, give me endless joy. Plus always been a fan of the Halloween movies.
-Ghost Face: I REALLY love his lore amd flavor text on his Add-ons. Lot of great & unsettling "everyday killer"material. The theme music for GF is pretty creepy too, very different. His idle animations are deliciously full of personality. Loved the Scream franchise and I felt he was done justice here.
-Legion(Susie): I dunno why, guess she semi reminds me of my High School days, wore Hoodies a lot, was seen as a "troublemaker" by many and was a bit rebellious, even if I still did my work. Hung out with the Goths and Geeks mostly, seen as a bit of outcasts VS rest of the school. Not afraid to say I,love the Yandere angle Susie has. And finally I just end up playing REALLY well as Legion.
-Pig: SAW is a fav franchise, Amanda has/had one of the more fun n unique toolkits with the Reverse Bear Traps. I just love the extra threat and mechanics she adds. She has fantastic cosmetics (some of the best imo) and I admittedly love her lil Squeak when a pallet smacks her xD. Also another Killer that's a ton of fun.
-Clown: Pretty much I love Clown's lore and personality. A VERY creepy character, expertly designed, has amazing cosmetics, always love Killer Klownz motif and his theme music is THE BEST xD
Survivor:
-Nea: Nea was my first Survivor pick as Urban Evasion and Balanced Landing were two Perks I felt were REALLY good. I loved the look of Nea and later on the Killer memes associated around her were uhh...fitting for my own personality xD
-Ash: I love Bruce Campbell, loved Evil Dead & Ash VS Evil Dead. He's voiced by Campbell, nuff said
-Dwight: Dwight is the cutest Survivor, esp as seen by the community. His Pizza Delivery outfit is amazing...enuff for me to play him
-Jane: Jane is Thicc Momma. Head On is a great n fun Perk and it's honestly nice to get a women of her calibur!

It kinda does take away the value though. if you played the game back when flashlights were still relatively op and pushed through it to get a specific cosmetic, then a little down the line someone just buys it. kinda makes you feel like youve wasted a load of time like @SpaceCoconut mentioned. Thats just how some people feel about it myself included.
Yet i said im normally on the fence about it, because ive been on the opposite end of the spectrum where your busy with life and dont have the time to play a game all day or you dont go to a specific event irl and get a code for a cosmetic. im not MASSIVELY into exclusives, im just ever so slightly for them. personal preference is all, couldnt really care which way it goes. but i do want the devotion system to actual mean something, weather though 'exclusives' or something else
With all due respect...we're playing videogames...we're already technically "wasting time". If a person won a trophy, a title or item and a year or so later, others can earn it...why does that bother a person? Not to mention, if others have it, whom are you to judge if that person "deserves" it or not, let alone when they got it to be judged by?
I can easily guesstimate that 90% of players outside of the first few seconds/minutes of going "cool costume" aren't going to really care what someone else is running. So your self enjoyment is either dependant on faux rarity/perceived value or for others to drool over you having something they can't....which illustrates my previous points of entitlement as the core reasoning.
EDIT: No one slurred at you mah dude, but go ahead and reach. :) I like to curse, deal with it with the forums censoring it genetically.

Ace is my least favorite. At least Adam doesn’t look like he’d creep on underage people. I will say that as survivor and killer, there are more nasty Adams - mean Aces are usually only encountered as killer.
Mmm, I'd agree. Ace as a Survivor I just don't like xP. I wish Adam was a bit more geeky/mad scientist ala Dexter's Lab but I like him and,his Perks WAY more than Ace & his Perks except Ace in the Hole being decent for Item hunting.

You are entitled to your opinion, but I disagree with her being the only killer that got "disgusting bubbles". All of the halloween skins are horrifically mutated versions of the killers. Plague and Clown both have big ugly pustules on them too.
Last year's Hallowed Cosmetics were extra drippy/slimy, this year seems to be a bigger focus on pustules/boils etc. :P

Although i might be on the fence regarding the topic at times. Overall i think im for exclusive items, although i myself won't be able to get many as much as i was able to in the past for the david king or huntress cosmetics for example, that shouldnt restrict others who are more fortunate with their free time.
I thought getting those exclusive items was great because i felt id actually earned something. and for someone else to just buy that, despite if they were able to get it legit or not, takes away any value the cosmetic has...
though if they add a clown or Doc cosmetic and i cant get it ima be mad.
"Takes away the value"
No...it really doesn't. It's digital, lines of code. For example, Whether you got a Hallowed/Event costume by doing the event or buying it (which surprise, can only earn 2 free) doesn't change how YOU got it. And why would someone else wearing a cosmetic demean your own enjoyment? "Earn" stuff and only feeling proud you have something because others are arbitrarily deprived of....sends of flags to me of a person's personality....
-
######### no. Sorry but exclusivity and enjoying it because it's "rare" for a damn digital item, let alone videogame stuff and not wanting others to be able to obtain it days/weeks/months/years later...just screams entitlement to me.
I had to deal with this song & dance in my MANY years of playing World of Warcraft. With the entitled crowd hating others that looted/earned mounts and/or gear & titles. Was stupid then, it's stupid now and I had a LOT of Vanilla exclusives including old PVP titles, which years later they brought back for players to earn. Same thing applies with this game & cosmetics.
-
Best Killers for me: Spirit, Ghost Face, Clown, Hag, Huntress and Plague.
Only including Ghost Face for the licensed Killers because he is an original character outside the GF Mask. Love the flavor text, theme music and lore which (imo),sells him as a creepy Killer. The rest of the licensed Killers I LOVE but putting em in a different category.
Survivors: Nea, Dwight, Kate, Jane.

Unfortunately, his perk slots need to be filled with tracking perks in order to be most effective. He needs to make up slack for the terrible lack of map pressure.
That's why I say maps can really make or break him. There's some where I'm pretty decided on a 2k at best.
-
Not a Leatherface main, but he was my first I leveled up and always loved the OG Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie. So even tho people rate him super low, still love him. I usually do decently enough, but getting the wrong map or really coordinated Survivors can make it tough.
I need to experiment with other add-ons, but my go-to are Beast's Marks & Knife Scratches (I'm fairly sure they stack?)
Nothing spectacular, but a fun 3K here.
