Just make it so that if you get 2 or more iridescent emblems for the match as killer or survivor you keep it.
-
There is so much demand for this, I can only assume it will come eventually
-
I was in a chase in Hawkins and went round a corner smack bang into a zombie who downed me - I thought it was funny tbh
-
I've found the opposite, sadly. More likely to be camped and tunnelled. I had a game with a Billy at the weekend, he had already hooked a couple of teammates a couple of times before he found and downed me, and then he face-camped and hit me constantly with both basic attack and chainsaw dash until I died on hook - which he didn't do with any of the others. Couldn't help but think it was due to the charm...
-
I thought it had been reinstated when I got a RPD map offering in my Bloodweb, I used it and it sent me to another map but I lost the offering - pretty annoying, in the past when a map has been disabled the offering hasn't been lost, so I basically wasted 5k BP
-
Yeah he's definitely hot. I would have liked to see him with more exposed (and bigger) arms though

I don't know kinda clunky. Not as easy to hit those tentacle attacks on console as I'd hoped.
I find him kinda dull powerwise. I just wish he did more.
I feel the same. I'm on Xbox Series X and I found it incredibly difficult to use his tentacle, although I am the first to admit I'm just not that good. I also found him incredibly slow. I watched some streamers on PC and he seemed way faster and easier to control so I don't know if that's even a thing? Overall I found him boring to play as though (mainly because I could barely ever hit with the tentacle - couldn't get close enough and whenever I did, it was easily dodged).
-
Surely it's a matter of environmental awareness, to avoid them? I get that it might seem annoying but that's part of the core functionality of Nemesis.

For some reason on Xbox you can message other Xbox survivors as killer during the pregame lobby
That's because you can see their username
-
Aw that's a shame, I was hoping it was new meta! I still quite like pairing Calm Spirit with Lightweight recently so I can just run around all over the place and not give myself away, unless I specifically want to
-
I find Legion very boring to play against as others have said, and the add-on that causes the terror radius constantly is just incredibly tedious. Not my most hated killer to go against but definitely bottom tier.
-
Felix face with bald Dweard head and beard and David body with Jane's ass.
-
Has he still got banging pecs and a six pack?
-
Mouth is too big. His hair/fade look better though.
-
I've been keeping my BPs around the 900-1m mark so that when the RE chapter is released I can level up Nemesis but that's it.
Can someone please explain to me the thing about using up flashlights?
-
I play more survivor than killer, but I tend to stereotype survivors more when I'm a survivor to be honest.
Steve's are almost always idiots who run the killer to me, blow gens up, generally just a liability.
David's are pretty cool usually, mostly competent, try and take protection hits or distract the killer.
Nea's I tend to find play quite aggressively - usually flashlight-clickers, both killers and teammates, and if I'm going to be farmed off the hook in the killer's face, I would say 8/10 times it's a Nea.
Meg's are selfish. They rarely do anything altruistic.
Claudette's stay out of trouble but also often self-heal when they should be unhooking someone. Most likely to use a key to escape from the hatch without bringing anyone else along with them.
Felix is bae, I usually play as Felix myself and they are usually good teammates - they might not be the best at the game but they try and help.
Nancy's are usually pretty cool, they try and help, good at gens and healing.
Feng's are very hit and miss for me, they can be elusive gen jockeys or constantly in trouble and there doesn't seem to be much middle ground.
Jun's are selfish, to the point of toxic and trolling - like pointing the killer to a locker I'm hiding in or trying to open the door when I'm in one repeatedly, and they rarely unhook.
Most the others I either see very rarely or they don't leave a particular impression on me.

And your personal feelings do not matter. Killers literally cannot win the way you want them to play unless they play absolutely perfectly, and maybe not even then. Stop trying to cripple your opponents and just get better.
And the issue is killers think that 'winning' the game (assume that means a 4k) is more important than fun. I'd rather 'lose' a fun game than win a boring one, but that's just me. Don't get how not playing every aspect of the game to the full is considered 'winning'.
It's not even about getting better - I want to be caught and hooked in this game, and I want to unhook and heal teammates, because I want the full experience of the game. I could outrun every killer and just do a gen simulator and I would be bored as hell. If you don't understand me, then I guess we just have fundamentally different definitions of fun in a game and maybe this game just isn't for me. But it sure isn't for a great many other people either then, and then what happens...?
-
I really hate when people trot out the counter to camping is just 'do gens'. Completely misses the point that this results in a boring, unfun game for EVERYONE.
If your game has a mechanic that is heavily used and has the direct consequence of making the game not be fun to play - there's a design flaw in the game IMO
-
Bubba's are almost always the scummiest killers to play against and I've noticed they are getting more and more prevalent lately - the most common killer to go up against and I very rarely have a fun match with them. Camptastic.
-
I personally feel that camping is unsportsmanlike conduct. I don't understand why killer mains do it, EXCEPT and only except for camping the very last survivor if the exit gates are open and they haven't had any kills all game and just want to get their 1k.
I just don't get it - why camp someone when you could be chasing other survivors, allowing them to heal and chasing them again, getting more hooks - all of which will get you more points. What's the fun in just killing the survivors as quickly as possible? By doing that, you're missing out on a huge part of the game and you are making a boring game for everyone - I will NEVER understand why.
-
It happens a lot, and it's really really annoying when someone does it to you but equally I can't hand on my heart say I've never done it myself, albeit accidentally. The trouble is, as a Solo Q you just can't tell if they led them to you deliberately or accidentally.
I always try, if possible, to run the killer to areas with completed generators, but a LOT of survivors don't seem to even think about this.
The worst though, as has been said, is people who run around teammates who are on hooks rather than leading the killer away from the hook. There's no excuse for that IMO, just poor play.
-
I play survivor much more than killer so I feel a bit ashamed to admit that it's fun to play as The Doctor - because I know playing versus him a survivor is not fun!!
Also find The Plague pretty fun to play as, and still quite fun to play against.
-
I don't find it happening an overwhelming amount, but it definitely isn't unusual and when it DOES happen, it really ruins enjoyment of the game - both for the one who is being tunnelled and their teammates (just makes for a boring match which then usually becomes unwinnable too so you kind of think why bother).
Had a Ghostface at Coldwind yesterday who tunnelled me - he was on me a few seconds into the match (I literally ran through the corn right into him because I didn't see which way he was coming from) and he hooked me in the shack basement. Got unhooked but he was waiting at the top of the basement stairs and downed me again while my unhooker ran past. Got unhooked and left the shack, was minding my own business opening a chest and he downed someone not far from me but instead of picking them up he went straight to me and downed me again. I instantly d/c, which is only the second time I've done it (the first time was versus a Ghostface tunneller who was tunnelling someone else and even when I deliberately tried to get in between them, still went for the one they were tunnelling who d/c so I d/c in solidarity). Not proud of it but perhaps that player will think twice about what could make an enjoyable match for EVERYONE involved in future (though I doubt it).
Camping hasn't been too bad lately though I did have a Legion who camped which again, just makes for an incredibly boring match. They were camping a teammate, I tried to draw them away but they wouldn't leave the vicinity of the hook to chase me - all the gens got done and when they hooked someone else (the first one had died on hook from the initial hook) I thought they might come for me when I was opening the gate but they still didn't leave so I just left, no point in trying for the save and giving them another kill. What doesn't make sense to me is why people play like this - it's not fun to camp a hook, and it's not fun for everyone else who just sits on gens until they are done and leaves - seriously, play a different game!
-
If no map offerings are used I get Autohaven or Macmillan about 85% of the time, corn about 10% and the rest random - I play most days and I can go several days without seeing some maps at all. I don't think I've had the hospital or Hawkins this week at all
-
Thanks, I get it now!

Totem spawns are already horrible and people still want more counters to it.
I don't think people are asking for counters to totems as in what can counter them, but a count of how many totems remain.
It's a definite QoL thing that I do think should be implemented - it's something that SWF teams get for free and it would level the playing field that tiny bit.
-
I'm surprised at people saying they give up if it's an indoor map. That's just bizarre to me.
-
They could easily solve the height issue for Chucky by having him standing on Tiff's shoulders - she does the running around, he does the grabbing. He could launch himself at survivors, Victor-style, and ride them. He could use voodoo powers to launch them onto hooks.
-
As survivor, if I am hooked and I progress to the second hook state and I can see my team mates are still across the map healing, doing a gen or running around aimlessly, especially when they can (or should be able to) tell the killer is currently in a chase with someone else, and they don't show any interest in coming to unhook. This happens WAY more than it should and at that point I just let myself die on the hook because I don't want to play the game with people who are either that selfish or that stupid.
If it's down to 2 of us and I've detected that the other survivor is either idiotic or selfish and is clearly just waiting for me to die so they can escape out the hatch I'll usually just go up to the killer and crouch and let them kill me. Again, can't be bothered wasting my time.
Unfortunately, these scenarios are EXTREMELY prevalent lately. I would say I only get a competent team who actually wants to work together perhaps every 1 in 4 games maximum. Solo Q for you. I had someone yesterday who unhooked me and the killer (Trickster) came back immediately, I hid in a locker and they chased the unhooker, who for some reason decided not to actually lead them away from where I was but just ran around the same tile until they were also downed so I didn't have the chance to leave, Trickster goes to restock and picks the locker I'm in and I get rehooked - that made me want to give up but I kept at it and had the satisfaction of seeing them get killed.
As killer, I will usually give up if I have only got a couple of hooks and they have done all the gens - I'll open the exit gate if I can and then move away so they can just leave. Or if they have opened them but they aren't leaving because they want to teabag me at the gate I'll just go to the middle of the map and look at my phone until they get bored of waiting - at least I wasted their time.
-
I must admit, after I actually realised that pretty much every killer was using it and I got educated on how to avoid it, I did consistently try to get into a locker before every hook but guess what - that is boring as hell. Now, if I'm on a gen I try to angle myself so I won't be exposed but otherwise unless I'm right next to a locker I don't bother. I want to get better as escaping from killers and the only way to do that is to practice being in a chase so by all means, come at me bro
-
I just did it, finally!!
-
I HATE this challenge!!
It's taking forever for me to get the 3rd one.
Another of those challenges where you need specific circumstances to have a hope of getting it.
Keep getting games where I either don't get hooked, or I get hooked and no one bothers to unhook me, or the one who unhooks me someone else unhooks them before I can reach them, or they d/c or some other failure.
It's SO annoying.

You have a very black and white view of things. No one is physically stopping you from being with someone you love, so there is no Oppression, at least in America.
Straight pride also does not have the ability to supress gay pride either.
I hope you can learn to see past sexuality and look at the bigger picture. Id hate to think Im a victim 24/7
LOL - you're really out here telling a minority group that is constantly under attack even in Western countries where being LGBT isn't illegal that just because someone may not be restraining them physically from being with someone (which is debatable in itself) that they AREN'T oppressed? Seriously dude, you need to stop talking on this because it's clear you know nothing about it and your ignorance is extremely belittling to those of us who do understand what it's like.

It isn't just this game, it's common on any social media, vocal minority of morons. When a sports team changes their pic to support pride you see horrifically ignorant comments, almost makes you ashamed to support the same team, before remembering these people are simply narrow-minded intolerant #########.
If anything it makes me want to use the charm more to show support for the community even if not a part of it, and bonus of annoying them because if any DbD player deserves true toxicity on them it is those spouting that bigoted small-minded rubbish.
It is a beautiful thing for someone to support a community even if they don't identify as part of it - it makes my lil gay heart swell, thank you.

Making charms like this is only gonna lead to bad things which sucks but that's just how people how. They simply should not bother because it ONLY leads to bad things. I don't care that much because it doesn't do anything to me but there are people out there who will get ######### on for using it an I feel bad for them. If they simply DO NOT release anything like this it'll be fine. I dont think its gonna have a big impact either way but its better to have nothing then to make something that only leads to bad things.
I don't agree and that's an incredibly negative way of looking at it, that it will ONLY lead to bad things. It may lead to bad things - but not doing something because you are afraid of pissing off BAD people is not the way to make progress.
-
Probably The Pig. I just don't enjoy playing against her, at all. I hate the trap mechanic and having to go to the puzzle boxes, and I almost always have to go to at least 3 of them to get the trap off. Just not fun or interesting to me and not what I play the game for.
-
I personally would rework the Bloodweb into more of a shop with limited stock of items - so you can buy whatever you want but there's only X amount of each thing per week/month and once you've bought them all for that time period you have to wait for the restock to buy more of the same.
It is incredibly frustrating to be forced to waste points on map add-ons like the bead or whatever it is that I never use and never see anyone else use. Same with some of the key add-ons, and the brown add-ons and offerings that I very rarely ever use.
It is also incredibly frustrating to be forced to waste points on perks that I will never use either just to clear them off the web, so I would make all the non-character specific perks available upfront, and then the character-specific ones will only become available in the shop once unlocked in the usual way.
Finally I would get rid of the mystery boxes completely because most of the time it's stuff I don't want anyway, but again the current system forces you to waste points on them just to get to something else a lot of the time.
Basically, all mine boil down to the frustration at having to waste points on stuff I don't want and will probably never use. It's a dumb system.
-
There 100% needs to be a penalty for deliberately disconnecting from a match - you are ruining the experience for 4 other people, and there should be a consequence for that.
I just wish the system was sophisticated enough to differentiate between a deliberate disconnect and an accidental disconnect. An accidental should NOT punish you at all, IMO - whereas a deliberate one I think should start at 20 minutes of being unable to queue for a match and double for each subsequent deliberate d/c within a 24h period.

Dead Hard. Borrowed Time. Decisive Strike. Adrenaline. A green or above flashlight with extended battery add-ons.
It's all...so tiresome.
I very rarely see Decisive Strike in games these days, not since the nerf. It's just not worth it.
-
DH is used a lot because it's a good perk. Heaven forbid that survivors actually use useful perks! The way some killer mains talk, you'd think survivors should literally just stand there begging to be slain.
-
My boy Felix, as I tend to play survivor as either him or David and I feel like David has enough variety already. I like Felix's mountaineering outfit but it's SO stand-out, being bright orange, that I feel like if there's ever a choice of who the killer is going to chase (like they come to a generator two or more of us are working on) they ALWAYS chase me - which is fine, I'm trying to improve my ability to evade the killer, but a slightly stealthier option would be welcome.
Also any outfit that showed a little skin wouldn't go amiss, Felix is a handsome dude and looks like he's ripped too. David shouldn't get all the horny points.

This is deliberate surely? They want you to spend money to get the character
-
I've done it now - got the teachable perk unlocked on Plague and then used Myers for it. Kind of sucks that it's clearly designed for you to use Plague to do it but it's easier on another killer.
-
Thanks for the tips on the challenge, I did think of using other characters who have Undetectable, but the problem is my Plague isn't high enough level to have unlocked Dark Devotion teachable yet, so I don't have it on any other characters. I think I'm Level 31 with her so if I play a couple more games as Plague, if I don't get it done hopefully I will be able to unlock that perk and then use Myers (I don't have Ghostface).
-
I had a very similar game this weekend as Oni. I play a lot more survivor than killer (I'm rank 8/7 survivor, I think 14/13 killer atm) and I only have green perks with Oni, he's about lvl 20 - I'm also still getting the hang of using his demon dash.
This game, 2 gens popped in the first two minutes and I had hooked one survivor - while I was chasing and downing the second, the next 3 popped - I've literally never seen it happen faster, it must have taken 5 minutes maximum.
I got my power twice in that time I think, and that was with an add-on that made it gain quicker. I charged for the nearest exit gate and they were all there and just left.
I'm on console and I honestly wondered if they had been hackers. They were purple rank survivors with typical perks and didn't all have BNP and good toolboxes so if they weren't hacking they were just super efficient. I swear one guy I didn't even see the whole game.
So I definitely feel your pain and it was a boring game - but you know what? They must have had a boring game too. The majority of the time they all spent in the game was sat with their finger on a button and pressing another button every so often and then leaving. Who finds that fun? That made me feel a bit better at such a humiliating defeat (though these guys weren't being toxic at all tbf).
-
I had no idea until reading this that you could do challenges from older tomes for the Bloodpoints. When I've completed the current one I'll go back to the others - I only started playing this year so there's loads to catch up on.
-
I actually prefer this, it encourages playing more game and takes away some of the frustration of the 'in one match do X' challenges when what you have to do can be very random and based on luck (in terms of what the other teammates/killer does) rather than skill.
-
What does the 'Grandmaster' bit for an adept challenge mean? I've done David, Bill, Felix and Dwight as adept.
