@ToxicAddiction I don't get why you would want to play a multiplayer game with cheaters and attempt to shame someone for going through the hassle to report them. That person is attempting to clean up the game and help improve the game for everyone. Sometimes the community needs to help police itself.

Yeah, we don't want legitimate toxic people in Dead by Daylight. If more people used the report system then this wouldn't be much of a problem.

Because of the notion that she takes "skill" and therefore it's completely ok that she completely breaks the game in it's entirety esp. omegablink. Let's just ignore the fact that getting good on her is a matter of practice and it's not even a long practice session.

    @MhhBurgers

Nurse is hard to learn, not only do you have to get the muscle memory down for her regular blinks but also for her other add-ons as well (including omega blink) since they also change her blinks. She doesn't break the game either, you just need to learn how to stealth and juke as a survivor. It's a different playstyle you have to adapt to just like the Doctor, Spirit, and etc.

Talking about "your definition" of breaking the game, Legion does the same thing but there's absolutely no skill behind it since his power is so straight forward. It's so ironic that you hate killers that "break the game" when you yourself say Legion, a killer who also breaks the game, is fine. You just contradicted yourself right there, so which one is it? Are you okay with killers who break the game or do you dèteste killers who break the game? If you hate killers that break the game, why endorse Legion?

  • Well the Spirit is really good and as well as the Huntress but Nurse, in my opinion, is starting to be accepted by community. That's why I didn't think nurse instantly.

The developers did that, but survivors complained about her.

What does the pronoun "her" mean? :)

I said that Legion player was terrible because imagine getting looped as Legion. That's almost as ridiculous as getting looped as Nurse. You'll have to be the most boosted killer for that to happen to you.

Whatever you say, hipster. The devs will rework Legion simply because they're 'not happy with him'. It's only a matter of time. If your that uptight because people think a killer is #########, I cannot wait to see how you'll react when they fix him.

Also who the ######### cares about fog-whispers in a Legion thread? No idea why you brought them up in the first other than to virtue signal.

And you still haven't told me that "huge" difference between a Rank 7 Legion and a Rank 1.

"And you still haven't told me that "huge" difference between a Rank 7 Legion and a Rank 1."

It's because there isn't one, you can hardly tell the difference between a rank 10 Legion from a rank 1 Legion because his power is too straightforward. Anyone can vault pallets while periodically hitting M1, there's nothing to it. Legion just needs a rework, he's a crap killer.

If you have a One Drive you can upload clips directly to that and share it from Xbox. Also you could use http://xboxclips.com to share/download them as well.

Also you can set up you Xbox DVR to record up to 2 minutes automatically when you make a clip. Or just press Xbox button > back button (I call it the "with cheese button" because it looks like 2 slices of cheese) > select "record last 2 minutes" and boom you have a 2 minute clip, which is often plenty.

Thank you for the information fox, but I use http://xboxclips.com to get my videos online! I'll check into what you said, but again, thank you!

  • No more DS so legion can gain alot of momentum no matter who he goes for.

I feel like you made this thread with the intentions of causing drama because YOU KNOW everyone hates him due to his cheap playstyle and you named the thread into something that survivors know isn't true. It's amazing how you listed things to get even more salt, it's kinda sad that you're trying to get a reaction. Legion is a mistake, the developers should have made a killer that has a learning curve and rewards you for being good. End of discussion.

You can still press record you know. You can lengthen the time of recording. While it is not as long as PS4, just try to clip it immediately after the offense.

I wished there was an option to automatically record 5 minutes from the past. That would be cool instead of recording every game you play in hopes of finding said player who violated a Dead by Daylight rule.

    Hey All,

There is a way to enter a text description of the issue, but it requires 4 completely separate actions to complete (DO NOT EXIT THE GAME UNTIL STEP 4):

    1) Press and hold the Share button to bring up the context menu, and then press square to save the gameplay recording. I have my PS4 setup to save up to 60 minutes of gameplay, and I think the default is 15 minutes. You can change this in settings.

    2) Click the thumbs down like normal, and select the option that best fits the situation, and then go back to the Scoreboard.

    3) Move the cursor up to the rate this match bar, and there is a box to the right that you need to click on to open a ticket. Fill out the ticket completely, and if you recorded the match, state that you have a recording. There is a bug on the web page that will continuously display a CAPTCHA test. Ignore it until you need to submit the ticket.

    4) Close DbD and find the recording that you saved.

    5) Trim the recording to just the match that you jusy played.

    6) Upload the clip to YouTube as an unlisted video. If you make it public, you may be violating the EULA.

At this point you will need to wait a few days, and you will be contacted via email with a request for the video evidence. Just go to your YouTube account, get the link to the video, and put it in your reply. You will get 1 or 2 followup emails, if you’ve done everything correctly.

This is the only way to get lagg switchers banned, so make sure you follow the steps precisely.

    HAVE FUN IN THE FOG!

Too bad I have an Xbox One instead of a PS4! 😭

  • @The_Bogeyman said:

How do ya send in video evidence and stuff on console?

Here's how I would do it, I'll record the player doing the action and then wait for my video to finish uploading online. Then I'll get the link to the online video and attach it on the ticket for them to see!

  • @not_Queen said:

Also where is that Adeloo Hag skin? Cause that thing was amazing.

    @not_Queen

I'll like to see special cosmetics for all survivors, it's a worn out set. Basically, their orginal clothing was worn out over the trials they survived. You'll have the ability to pick ONE piece from the full cosmetic set for any survivor you so please on every devotion.

Edit: @not_Queen I forgot to add on "on every devotion" lol.

  • @ToxicAddiction said:

Click the button the matches what they did you object to. If it’s not mentioned, don’t report them. I know it’s heartbreaking not to be able to tattle about imaginary offenses, but try not being pathetic for once :)

Wow, actually try reading the thread instead of assuming the absolute worst about me and my intentions of wanting a text box, ya know? ✌

  • @Delfador said:

    I don't blame them.

Killers have the option to see survivors, their outfits, names, items they bring, and they can understand if they are SWF or not.

After that, some of them chooses to dodge the lobby because they deem it to be too unfair.

Survivors don't have that option, they don't know if you are coming to the game with ebony mori or not, if you are using insta hatchets and other bullshit. However, they can see it in game.

After that, some of them chooses to dodge the game because they deem it to be too unfair.

    Simple as that.

Honestly DCing and dodging are both BS. They need to be punished more often in my opinion because it punishes players who just want a game.

  • @Mandy said:

I can only speak on a personal level, but for me - no, I don't think it's necessary and I can see it causing more issues with balance in the game @BACKSTABBER

I like rewards for Devotion - but it should not be a reward that changes game style, hence I like the cosmetic rewards.

    @MandyTalk

We should be able to pick a cosmetic piece for any survivor everytime we get a devotion point. The cosmetic could be a dirty survivor piece, like their clothing is worn out by the trials they survived. That would be very cool since it shows everyone that you love that survivor so much that you spend a devotion point to get their worn out outfit.

  • Am I the only killer who uses shrouds to pretend that I have a mori? Seriously, it works because the survivors act like I'm the Nurse.

  • @Gorgonia said:

I always choose the option that better fits the situation and then I click on the support button and complete the ticket there. It’s a pain in the ps4 tho unless you got a keyboard

@Nickenzie If you really believe that, play Freddy or Leatherface with PGTW, Franklin's, Thana and Huntress' Lullaby against good groups. It will change your view.

I can still manage a 2k with most weak killers (benchmark), it's not impossible like you're making it out to be. There have been some many changes to this game that killers don't struggle like they use to back in the old days.

  • @NoShinyPony said:

@Nickenzie That won't happen with SWF. I am just surprised that you can't see what an unfair and unbalanced item it would be.

However, let's end this discussion since it's just about an hypothetical item that won't ever be in the game anyway.

    😭

  • @Peanits

I'll like to bring this topic back again since this is really important me! Again, even if you have no information about this, tell me because it shows me that you haven't forgot about this.

  • @NoShinyPony said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/360925#Comment_360925

@Nickenzie Of course it's super unfair. As you just admitted, it gives the survivors the opportunity to undo their mistakes. But against strong groups, that's the thing that keeps the killer in the game: Making use of the survivors' mistakes. Your watch would easily be the strongest item.

And haven't you thought about that other survivors would use the watch to undo their teammates' mistakes?

You're not considering that it literally undoes EVERYTHING such as generator repairs, totem destruction, healing, and etc. Image if you're in a chase but your Ruin got destroyed right after you downed a survivor, let's say a random survivor reversed time to prevent death hook. Guess what? You can see 15 seconds into the future and you now have the option to finish the survivor off or take care of the survivor on your Ruin. The item can backfire on the survivor since it could be wasted.

  • @NoShinyPony said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/360915#Comment_360915

@Nickenzie You play Nurse and Spirit, these are very good killers. You can't apply the same rules to Freddy or Leatherface.

Edit: forgot to add the @

You have the perks to alleviate the consequences such as Ruin, Pop Goes The Weasle, Sloppy Butcher, Franklin's, Thanatopobia, Huntress' Lullaby, and even certain killers have powers that are designed to slow the game down.

Here's a build that I use on my Pig:

BBQ, it makes survivors waste time going into lockers or else they can't finish the generator because they will be interrupted by the killer.

Hex Ruin (or Courrpted Intervention), this allows for some early mistakes and if you can get some hook momentum, survivors will likely not have enough time to search for the Ruin totem.

Make Your Choice, it allows me to potentially get more momentum by downing healthy survivors. If the exposed survivor decides to hide, that's 60 seconds of them doing nothing.

4th perk can be anything that you want, preferably a perk that boosts your lethality during a chase such as Play With Your Food or Enduring.

  • @NoShinyPony said:

@Nickenzie Wow, that would be super unfair!

Not really, it's like a redo button but it doesn't give anyone an advantage besides being able to undo your mistake just to try again. Furthermore, there is a short delay before the item is activated in which during this time, the killer can interrupt you by attacking you and cause to try again. If you get downed, you cannot use the item so you MUST predict the future or else you'll never be able to use it.

  • @The_Crusader said:

NOED is a ######### perk that boosts bad killers far beyond where they should be. It allows them to play with their crappy playstyles.

I feel like the Gatekeeper emblem needs a huge adjustment to punish those who can't put pressure on generators. I use NOED sometimes, I'll admit it but I'm such a good Nurse that it ends up being a waste of a perk slot because all of the generators never get close to being completed. Same thing with my Spirit, generators never get close to being completed because I know how to apply pressure. Currently, I favor the PTB Gatekeeper version as it rewards even less points to the killers who can't apply proper pressure and will keep the killers who rely on NOED in the bottom ranks.

  • Legion is just poorly designed, anyone who played survivor can confirm that vaulting and running is very easy; now, the only thing different with Legion is that you have to hit... *Drum Rolls* M1 while vaulting and running! Don't you see the problem??? There's no skill involved in those actions and you'll get the same results with Legion everytime because his power is too straightforward, there's nothing that separates a good Legion from a bad one besides sensitivity.

Another thing, I've played against a Frank's Legion and it was awful because I simply didn't feel like I was outplayed at all. If I get downed by a Nurse, I accept that because it took skill to land that blink while on the other hand, using Frenzy does not. Legion just needs a rework, his power doesn't have a learning curve to it and it doesn't reward players who spend hours on him because his power is too straightforward.

  • Dull totems and Hex totems should grant 1,000 blood points in the boldness category as well as a 10% Lightbringer bonus. Potentially, if you can get all 5 totems, you'll have collected 5,000 blood points and have 50% of your Lightbringer completed.

  • Watch: Rare Item

-After a short delay, time in the trial is reversed by 15 seconds for both the killer and the survivors.

-Any progress made in the last 15 seconds will be undone (generator progress, cleaning totems, hook states, and etc.)

-The killer and the survivors will be placed at their exact position 15 seconds ago as well as the direction they were facing.

    -Item is consumed upon use.

  • @Eveline said:

    Legion.

Why? What's the reasoning behind it?

    Mine is probably Spirit.

  • I understand how you feel but that's how things are, if a killer wants you dead, you're going to be killed. Think of it as a compliment, the killer thought you was so good that you must be taken out first, ya know? Furthermore I do agree, killers often blame others for their mistakes, it's human nature to do so but at the same time, it isn't healthy for themselves. That's why I look at my mistakes during and after a match because it makes me a better killer.

  • @thesuicidefox

I can image seeing a survivor getting destroyed by a Billy that landed on them!

  • @PinkEricka said:

I need a middle finger emote for survivors.

    And for killers as well?

  • @Mister_xD said:

i would love emotes that are interactive with the other side.

like a high five the survivors can give each other AND the killer.

(i would mess around with that a lot as killer... stuff like "you wanna rescue him? high five me." or "i wonder if your in this locker... ima just gonna stand here and ask for a high five until you come out!")

I'll like to see an emote that shows the killer admiring their weapon. Some emotes could be killer specific such as the trapper looking at his trap, seeing how sharp it is.

  • @malloymk said:

I don't know what the solution is. But he is boring AF to play against. Instadown, hook, bbq and sprint, instadown, sprint back to the guy who was hooked first. Yawn.

I don't know what the answer is. I get why killers don't want him nerfed. But man is he boring to go up against.

Billy IS boring to play against, I'll like to see some more interactive changes made to him.

How about this? There will be 8 ramps in the trial that he can use to boost in the air with. The ramps will prioritize facing generators first then totems second, if that's not good enough, he can rotate the ramps in the direction he so pleases. To compensate for the extreme mobility, his chainsaw will have a heat gauge and if it fills up from overuse, you'll have to wait a while. Of course the heat gauge will deplete naturally so don't worry!

Basic communication emotes, sure. Dancing, definitely not. Can we at least try to keep this a horror game please?

The game wasn't scary in the first place to be honest but, I wouldn't mind seeing a trapper have an emote that shows him cracking his knuckles.

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

The only time I "needed" another Emote was, when a "Shrug"-Emote would be great.

Leatherface standing near the Hook with Insidious, I am pointing and waving at him so that he comes over, he shakes... A "Shrug"-Emote to indicate "Well, whatever then" before going away would have been great.

Other than that, not really needed, maybe for Survivors for basic (and useful) communication.

For Killers I dont see any reason. A dacing Myers would just make the game even less Horror than it is. This is not Fortnite.

Yes, let's assume I'm trying to make the game into Fortnite. Logic. 😂

This is just something that came across my mind since survivors already have some emotes, ya know? Not because I seen it off of Fortnite thank you very much and besides, game is stupid imo.

  • Tell me.

Nurse, learn her and you'll get great results!

  • Change log:

Decreased the exhaustion timer as it was a bit much, especially when the survivor had an item in hand.

  • @Patricia

Recently, you have updated the ranking system in patch 2.6.0 which made pips harder to obtain. With pips being harder to obtain, are you going to add rank rewards soon or are you going keep making changes until you're satisfied with the current rank system (then adding rank rewards)?

  • @artist said:

now you're making it sound like u can't dictate a chase because u can see her through every loop. you can't. there are just a few more loops you can see her over due to her height, same with huntress and myers. and we weren't speaking of her corrupt purge thats an entirely different problem. I can agree she has trouble controlling the game because she needs to go out of her way to get her corrupt.

Legion is 110% and without add-ons, he struggles even through survivors remain injured against him. Plague is the same thing but she's just a little faster than Legion because she can't jump pallets. Therefore, what's preventing me from rushing generators while sick? She can't down me if she can't catch me, I'm ok at looping and I can stall the killer for a good minute broken. It's the same thing with Legion, that's what I'm trying to tell you. At least with Pig, you can't really rush generators when you're trapped.

  • That would be so cool. Kind of similar to Doctor, survivors in her radius would slowly start to get sicker and sicker.

I feel like it would be cheap to instantly infect a survivor who walks into your terror radius BUT I think it would be cool if you get infected faster while in it (when not in a chase).

  • @HatCreature said:

The very max I can get with 1 mil is 35, yeah that's pretty far but I never fully play a Killer until the late 40's because you just don't have enough add-ons and most of the time the perks you get is so jumbled you can't pair any of them together. And it's bullshit you can get to 50 and not get Tier 2 on your own teachables.

I feel like 1.5 million is a reasonable cap because you can stack 4 shrine cards with it making a total of 2.1 million BP.

Just for the record: I TOLD YOU SO!

It just took longer than I expected for the Devs to reverse the pallet nerf.

    Pretty good job so far.

Is this pallet buff how it was in the old days?

    She's 115% ms not 110%

I don't see where you're going with this

Unlike Legion, she's very tall, and her power is controlled by survivors. She's 115% because she can't jump pallets like the Legion. Perhaps the punishment to being sick can be increased just a little, maybe a harsher PoV penalty while increasing the time it takes to fully infect a survivor.

  • @Crazewtboy said:

Just to see if I can get some answers to clear up my confusion, does the corrupt purge down by itself? or do you have to have add ons? Is losing the broken status effect when getting hooked a visual glitch? Or is it intentional (if it is I find it pretty stupid considering that is the main punishment of being infected)?

Corrupted Purge will down survivors with and without add-ons. No, for some reason the infection reverses itself when hooked.

I still don't think you are getting the point either.

Answer the question of why do some survivors not want to heal?

You will probably find the answer is because you either stay weakened and easier to down or make her stronger for a time and be able to down you or someone easier, it's an option where you make yourself weaker regardless.

Its the mechanic that causes this and making you need to always go to a fountain is bad design, the choice needs to remain or it becomes another tedious mechanic just like the legion.

How fun would it be for a game to play out as Found, chased, puked on, goto fountain, do gens rinse and repeat each and everytime, it makes it a very linear gameplay experience.

I do understand your point, we don't want to force survivors down a single path since it can get tedious. However, what I'm saying to you is that, when you are sick you have two choices: Cure yourself or don't cure yourself. Curing yourself gives the killer her upgrade while not curing yourself makes you weak but gives you time to work on generators. With the legion and sloppy butcher killers, we often pick the choice to stay weak and rush generators because it's the most efficient strategy. Now, against the Plague, that choice in staying broken is now more enticing because you are also denying the killer her power upgrade. Staying sick needs a punishment of some sort, preferably a action decrease but just so you not forced to cure yourself immediately, becoming fully sick should take longer. This will still give the survivor a choice on WHEN they should cure themselves.

For the same reason no mether is a stupid perk. I would like to avoid one hit downs. With thanephobia would reinforce healing due to the penalty. So are you saying people don't heal aginst the cannibal or hillbilly since they can ne one shotted with the chainsaw? Or aginst the shape because their three is insta down? Also while wounded survivors make noise and drop blood which any good killer will use to find them. Gen rushing or not (which the whole gen rushing is what they are supposed to do, either survivors get blasted for gen rushing or not doing their objective.) A smart survivor is not going to want to stay in a wounded status for to long.

The only time healing is worth while is if you can gain more time from it. If you heal against a legion and he finds you, that 32 seconds is wasted on something that could've better been used on generators because he can easily injure you with Frenzy. While on the other hand, healing against a Myers is worth while because he may not have his EWIII to insta-down you.
