Play around what your opponents do, there is no secret tactic on how to get consistent 3-4k, if you are good you get them, if you are not you dont, simple as that.
Also I dont see the problem with slugging, it helps to keep preassure and can win you the game.
There is no other way sadly.
Slugging is the only thing you can do (or kill them all before 2 gens lul)
Sure there is, you see killers get 4k without slugging because gasp they actually know how to best play their chosen killer. Git Gud=profit problem solved and remember the average is 2 kills and don't forget the following.
You're not entitled to that 4k not unlike all 4 survivors aren't entitled to escape, if you want it earn it. Try different killers and find one that suits you best, then learn them and dominate.
