Actually Roblox is a great game lol. Everyone thinks they are "too grown up" for it but it's still a great game lol.BlackHack said:that keyboard joke lol , are you 12 or something, grow up kid, or go play roblox. I will not bother answering someone like you.

If blood warden was a hex and lasted forever, couldn't the killer camp the hex and hold the game as hostage? Just letting you know in case you didn't think about that!Sally55 said:Missing Healing skill checks and being healed out of dying shouldn't wake you up. What They could do is turn blood warden into a hex and make the duration last indefinitely until the hex is destroyed.Just make it trigger like NOED. Also disable the ability to heal and repair generators while in injured the dream world. You could also keep the survivor in the dream world when they're hooked and unhooked.

I feel you for real! I get a lot of salt when I play nurse and destroyed SWF.WarthogFury said:Well I got the ban appealed as they said it was unjustified after looking over my other harassers. If your talking about in general in the current build, all five generators are done in like 5 minutes without ruin. Ruin can add more time but there's a lot variables that can decide how much. Two minutes is exaggerated unless every survivor had a BNP or bugged left behind.Jack11803 said:And I’m sure it was scary for killers when all gens were done in 2 minutes
-
Didn't they say that they are fixing the no terror radius bug right? Well anyways I'm having a lot of fun with going against killers that have tinkerer II! I wish DbD was actually this scary tbh, well maybe when I'm going against a God nurse player lol.Jack11803 said:Was always active. But anyway, this just goes to show those precious “victim” killers would just as gladly be the tyrants survivors were. Pathetic hypocrisy

I mean yeah but what's the fun in that? I only SWF when I wanna play with my friends, I don't tea bag or all that non-sense lol. I usually solo Q anyways but you do make a valid point @guest602!guest602 said:@Nickenzie that would be a good idea but unfortunately that would be too easy when people are in swf
it's almost like a free reward because your friends tell you where the killer is -
I wanna see a survivor perk that mutes the terror radius for you and reward you if you survive!guest602 said:@Bbbrian2013 I completely agree with you. I love the idea of the ultra rare offering and i hope I'll see it come to life. -
I literally pooped my pants when I seen a no terror radius nurse walk around a corner and down meguest602 said:I was looking for generators when some Billy chainsawed me with thinkerer on and that was the biggest jumpscare I've had in a while! The last time I had this feeling was when I had like 80 hours of game and I got scared by a Myers using m&a + dead rabbit. I have to admit that I also love this feeling, and when you succeed to survive you feel way prouder of yourself.
Unfortunately, I'm not using it right now as a killer because I know this perk has a bug but when they will fix it it will become a part of my final build.
I was so shocked and scared all at the same time!
-
Lmao, yeah I was in the killer shack and I seen a red light at the door and since I didn't expect it, she downed me! You should have seen my face when she downed me because I didn't think the tinkerer bug would completely remove the terror radius! Then another time I was on a generator at a LT jungle gym and I was barely able to see her red light around the corner, she barely missed me! Luckily she wasn't a God nurse or else our entire survivor team would get wiped out! Definitely one of the most fun survivor games that I ever had!chemical_reject said:Yea I saw a myers with tinkered 2 the other day. He won't be slowed when he charges a shock. I put him at 100% movement speed while in therapy because survivors naturally gain madness when he's in punishment or treatment in modes.SnakeSound222 said:A lot of people (including me) say Doc is a mid tier Killer (and most of them probably think he only needs buffs, not a rework), but a few people do think he’s a low tier Killer.
I’m not sure I like him moving at 100% speed in Treatment. Will charging Shock Therapy still slow him down? It’s already easy for Survivors to run away while he’s charging his shocks. Lowering his movement speed in Treatment will make it harder for him to land the shocks unless his range is extended.
The slow speed allows survivors run away from a treatment Doctor but that's not a problem unless your always in treatment. I would get very close to a survivor, switch to treatment and shock the survivor until the survivor is at 100% madness.Nickenzie said:

Whenever your outside the Doctor's terror radius, you can prevent madness build up by standing near another survivor within 8 meters. -
Sometimes the Doctor can be threatening but overall he's not very strong IMO. If he tries to shock you then just keep running and don't wait at the pallet basically. He can catch you at vaults sometimes but that alone is timing!SasukeKun said:Because people want easy, and it takes a little effort to time his shock with a hit. Thank you for the kind feedback!Noct said:I think your idea is really interesting. I can't say that I agree with it though simply because it adds a lot of unnecessary variables to the end game.
Although, I do believe that the hatch is currently in a bad place and could easily be fixed by the following:
Considering current hatch mechanics, it would be great if the door was just concealed more instead of being in plain sight. Observation is an integral part of gameplay in Dead By Daylight, especially if you're a survivor or killer in an intense chase. It would seem more rewarding to me if a player who remained calm and collected was able to discern the hatch's location in a chase, rather than the current system of "Oh, hey look! I can see it 20m away from where I'm running."
In a situation where neither side knows where the hatch is, I think it's great that both the survivor and killer have to explore the map and use auditory clues to discern it's location. If it was concealed better, there would be room for more high-risk high-reward end-game gameplay while still allowing for the use of keys and maps.
Yeah, I know this rework won't fix everything wrong with hatch mechanic but it's a lot better than not having a chance to kill the last survivor unless the survivor is new. Whenever I see the last survivor, I just hit the survivor and move on, there's nothing else that I can do. I know I'm not "entitled for a 4k" but the last survivor isn't "entitled for a escape" either. I just want to give the survivor and killer a 50/50 playing field because as a killer there's nothing you can do once the survivor has found the hatch! Just hit and move on! -
Yeah that happens to me a lot. I'll vault, the animation ends, I'll begin to move away from the window, and I get downed. The worse offenders of latency are the windows on the second level of a house because I been downed in mid air multiple amount of times lol.brokedownpalace said:I mean it's clear when you're JUST on the other side of the window that it is intended for killers to be able to hit survivors, but more often than not I've started running and I'm a few feet away and I still get hit. -
It did that to me as well! Got a 3k but my devout emblem was iridescent.deadwolfwalking said:My very first game today was a SWF team. There's no need for you to smart off to me, you understand? This is why I don't like posting because there is always going to be smart off people like you! Maybe you should actually think about these changes and try not to be negative all the time because just by reading your post... your just assuming and exaggerating the worst that can happen! Additionally you didn't even account the fact that you'll start to get glow spots on you when your two minute timer starts to get closer to expiring which actually help the killer see you through the fog but what do I know?dannyfrog87 said:fog becomes very thick? hell no. that is ridiculous. want the fog to be thick oh yeah wait for it. take a fog offering ding ding. the whole fog crap your talking about favours survivors more a free escape. the hatch sink into the ground and move. also no .... and sacrificing a survivor in 2 minutes if they cant do a gen or escape. no that wont happen. all of this reminds me of deathgarden. if you want these things go play that when it comes out lol. seems that game has the mechanics your looking for
-
Let me explain it to you because obviously you didn't read carefully! If your in the Doctor's terror radius and he's in Treatment mode, you can reach 100% madness in 2:30 to 1 minute depending on your distance to him. If your in the Doctor's terror radius and he's in punishment mode, you can reach 100% madness in 5 minutes to 2:30 depending on your distance to him. So if your always in his terror radius, your going to reach 100% madness every let's say 1:45 seconds assuming you weren't in a chase and you remained far away from him when in his terror radius. That's not bad, and remember you can't decrease your madness so any madness you get is permanent until you reach 100% madness to Snap Out Of It.dannyfrog87 said:2 and a half minutes to reach full madness? hahaha! you want that as a rework? matches are usually over in less than five with gen rushing and nothing else. or chasing someone. hes weak as he is. this would make him even weaker. this is a nerf not a buff to his power ....

Dying Light: You become obsessed with one survivor. Your obsession can free themselves from the hook without the aid of teammates during their first phase of sacrifice. When your obsession is on the hook, every survivor will receive a 30/40/50% penalty to all actions until the obsession freed or sacrificed. Only one obsession per trial.
Remember Me: You become obsessed with one survivor. Every time you attack your obsession, increase the opening time of the exit gates by 10 seconds up to a maximum of 20/30/40 seconds.
Your obsession is not affected by Remember Me. Only one obsession per trial.
Save The Best For Last:
(Doesn't need any changes)
Play with your food: You become obsessed with one survivor. Every 10 seconds you are in a chase with your obsession and you'll receive a token. For every token you have, receive a 3% movement speed increase up to a maximum of 9/12/15%. If your obsession ever enters dying state, you'll lose all of your tokens.

I don't really want a HP bar simply because the game isn't that dynamic yet for it. I think no one has ever heard of dealing a half of a health state, a quarter health state, or even losing a health state over time. I was just asking in my OP about would a HP meter make balancing easier?Damaho said:I think you missunderstood me. I wasn't saying that if we fix the current melee and health system than this game would be balanced or that there was any need to fix them at all.
For the health system that OP proposed to come into the game we would have to change many other things in the game to make it work because just getting it into the game right now would be pointless because we would trade health state icons for meaningless numbers. The devs would have to rework how healing works and how hits work to make it worthwhile.
But even then the devs couldn't just put this system along with rework hit detection in the game. With the current state, Survivors can prolong the chase quite some time. Now imagine that you didn't land your correctly (or more likely, given how everything else in this game works, you hit the head but the game says you hit the foot) and the survivor doesn't take enough damage to go down in two hits. This would extend the chases even further! The reverse would be also true, were a killer that can aim really well could one shot kill any survivor with any killer, depending on how "headshots" would work.
Like I said, this would in my opinion, unneccessarily complicate the game and would need too much work to make it worthwhile.
I'll demonstrate:
Every survivor will have 100 HP, if the survivor is above 50 HP then their health state icon will appear healthy. If the survivor is at 50 HP and lower, their health state will appear injured. Self Care or any healing action would instantly heal 50 HP at the end of the healing interaction. Certain things like a clowns bottle could do like 10 damage every second your in his AoE gas so the survivor will have to be careful. When the developers have more numbers, they can be more creative and do unique things!
Will they do a health bar based system? Unlikely but it will allow better balancing for sure IMO. -
I've made it to rank 4 without ruin with the pig, I never made it any higher ever since then! I don't play doctor hardly ever and honest he's not really the strong killer IMO. I reached rank 1 as survivor without using DS for 90% of my matches and once in a blue moon I see a doctor from the fog. I'll ask you this question @SasukeKun, why don't I see all a lot of doctors if he's as strong as people are saying he is? That's kinda ironic IMO.SasukeKun said:What Rank Killer are you? i find Doctor is one of the easiest and most threatening killers with madness and his ability to track with apparitions. He also denies survivors the use of vaulting and pallet throws if timed correctly. Why would he need to be buffed again?

Pop Quiz (Killer Edition):CptainPotato said:Wait what?
So one month back and people were talking about the doc being high tier because he can spot easily survivors, he can prevent them for dropping pallets and jumping through windows and you need to snap out of it if you want to be somewhat useful (which is also spotted by nurse's calling..)
How can you even say he's mid tier, let alone, low tier, this killer is just unfunny and unfair, his rework should take away that, but he's as powerful as ever, stop complaining about that
What makes a killer a strong killer?
A.) If the killer can end chases as fast as possible.
B.) If the killer can patrol generators really easily.
C.) If the killer is stealthy.
D.) All of the above.
If you choosed "A" then your correct!
@CptainPotato if a killer can't end chases fast and effectively consistently then the killer is either mid or low tier. The Doctor can't end chases fast and effectively consistently so he's a mid or low tier killer, IMO he's a low tier killer. I feel like his power should increase the stun duration in which you can't do anything so he can shut down loops. If the killer was as strong as you were saying then why don't I see him in rank 1? Exactly!
Oh, I'm gonna edit your quote!
CptainPotato said:How can you even say he's mid tier, let alone, low tier, this killer is just unfunny and unfair, his rework should take away that, but he's as powerful as ever, stop making valid complaints about that

I was thinking about increasing the repair time to 90/65/50/35 seconds with 90 being one survivor on a generator and 35 being four survivors on a generator. Additionally the environment should block more sides of a generator than there is currently to force higher repair times and prevent multiple survivors from working on a generator.ChesterTheMolester said:TBH a new objective like finding gas cans would make the game take longer while also be more fun for survivors.
Let's say there's a 10% to see a four side generator and a 100% chance in every game to see a single side generator. -
I just want a health bar so you can have clutch escapes with a hair of health left lol. Wouldn't that be cool?AshleyWB said:Maybe this could be done on a side mode thingy ma bob. Not the main game.

That's debatable argument but I'm talking about actual HP like in Death Garden!Paddy4583 said:Already has it

Hmm, I guess if you say so! It's just hard to believe since I hardly ever see him in ranked lol.Runiver said:He's not low-tier. He's actually rather mid-top already in proper hands, along with Myers and Huntress.

I definitely agree!Bravo0413 said:I think if they were to do this they would have to rework the game which in it's current state with the store and all i dont think it would be worth it... Thank you for clarification! Yeah, I'm not the best survivor in the world but I definitely know doctor isn't a very strong killer. I'm actually more better at killer than I am survivor but I play survivor more since it more relaxing! When I do face a Doctor, people usually DC anyways lol.Swiftblade131 said:Personal opinion, I think he is mid tier at best. Tier lists can be made completely off of person opinion, besides Nurse, since she is undoubtedly the best killer in game, no one will argue with that.
But people even argue second position in tier list between Billy and Huntress for the longest time, now we have people saying Hag is second best, we get people saying Myers is 3rd best, some people pit him low mid tier.
Anything besides Nurse is completely opinion and experience based. Based around what I have been able to accomplish with Doctor, I put him in the middle of mid tier.

Camping is a legit strategy, just like gen rushing is...

I was thinking if Surveillance revealed survivors' auras when within 8 meters from a regressing generator for X/Y/Z seconds with a CD.Salty_Pearl said:Here is my buff to Surveillance (since we all know it's garbage)
Surveillance
Unlocks potential in one's aura reading ability. The last 3 regression generators' auras are indicated to you in white until survivors stop the regression. When survivors start to repair, their auras are shown to you for 3/4/5 seconds if you are in 24 meters of the generator.
(Sole Survivor will disable your aura, but the generator will still turn from white back to orange.) -
I'm definitely confused now lol, I was positive that he's a weak killer! I hardly ever see him in ranked, even with great survivors hitting madness skill checks... The only thing the Doctor has is his stun that prevents survivors from throwing pallets and windows but even that doesn't last long.Killigma said:I very much doubt he is in the low tier. He is a strong place and really think out of all the killers we have, he is possibly the last one that would need a rework.
-
Definitely! Thank you for your kind honest thoughts!Killigma said:Honestly I think it would just over complicate the game and if anything make it more unbalanced. Match making currently is bad enough with matching ranks, so if we were to add level stats into this I think a lot of matches would end up being a mess of at least one player being at a greater advantage than the rest. We cannot even get perks and addons balanced at the moment, never mind if stats were to be introduced lol. Personally I like the current health system, it is static and everyone is on an even playing field at base game play. Survivors get two chances before they are downed and Killers know they have two chances to down the Survivors.
-
Hmm, well maybe 2 seconds is fair! Remember your slowing down the survivor by 10% for 3 seconds and preventing them from interacting with anything for 3 seconds as well. I don't want him to be a killer where you literally can't do anything against while in a chase. I want some time where you can predict his shock, not get spammed to point where it's near impossible to dodge lol. Remember, it takes you 2:30 to reach 100% madness and 5 MINUTES if he's in punishment mode.starkiller1286 said:Sounds like a major need to him you do realize that he has a madness radius for a reason right? So survivors know when he's near and don't rank up in madness for no reason. Besides tier 1 madness is useless aside from the first scream detection so he'll have a harder time reliably finding survivors and only make him even more add-on dependant than he is now. Not to mention it takes him about a second and a half to charge his spark making it 4 seconds makes his power more useless than the wraith. -
I don't understand why everyone says he's fine... isn't he low tier?Swiftblade131 said:He's fine, granted I don't play him much. But when I do, survivors just DC, don't want to try, or I kill all of them.
They just really hate the guy xD
-
@RuniverRuniver said:I'm not sure why you think this guy needs a rework in the first place.
He's actually rather allright as it is, and slowing him down in treatment mode would kill most of his shocking plays to block pallets and vaults, which would make it WAY LESS interesting to play.An actual rework would be to give him some add-ons to slightly speed up his zapping so he could actually have proper uses of it in chases.
I made him slower in Treatment because he can slow survivors down for 3 seconds when he lands a shock and prevent them from interacting with anything for 3 seconds. Yes, maybe he might need faster add-ons but again, why should a killer heavily reliant on add-ons to just to become somewhat viable? I think he should have madness generation to survivors, even if he's in punishment.
Overall I'm just trying to make him a better killer, he's low tier for a reason. Maybe I should decrease his charge time of his shock therapy to 3 seconds to help him get key shocks, instead of 4? Then the add-ons I mentioned above that can speed this up can make him extremely viable while in a chase. Additionally he's not slown down when he charges he shock therapy?
-
Thank you for your thoughts! This could definitely over complicate things for sure but do you think this would make DbD more balanced or do you think the current "health states" is a solid health system?Killigma said:If I am understanding you correctly and you are meaning dynamic stats for players, like a RPG, generally speaking if you had hit points instead of two static conditions, killers would have to have an attack stat as well. Survivor A has 100HP and Killer A has 100 ATK would make it OP for the Killer, but if Survivor B has 300HP, Killer A would have to hit them three more times just to down them. This would over complicate the game imo.
-
That's the point but the thing is regardless of how many times you have to say it... they don't listen! Overall, people need to understand the fact that everything is still possible, it's just harder and that's how it should be IMO! If survivor is too hard then just play killer since everyone now thinks killer is now easy which it's still challenging!Kuroyu said:Don't be pricks. If he feels that way right now then its alright. Let me tell you as a survivor main: I think its even more fun and more balanced as it was before. Survivors still can win a game and punish campers for example. Just don't save someone if the killer is camping. All you have to do is being more cautious and not just trying to "play" with a killer because thats not how the game works. Well at least not how it should work.

Carter: @Jeeperrs What's the problem now?
@Jeeperrs: Sorry, DbD update 2.1.0 is too hard for me as a survivor and I quit playing the game!
Carter: Ahh, now I see what's going on! Let me tell you something that I learned in the fog, it's called natural selection @Jeeperrs!
@Jeeperrs: What's natural selection Dr. Carter?
Carter: Well I'll show you right here...
@Jeeperrs: Git Gud?
Carter: That's right, natural selection basically means you'll need to adapt and git gud @Jeeperrs!
@Jeeperrs: But I don't know how to git gud...
Carter: I'm sorry but there's no cure for that @Jeeperrs, now your dismissed! I need to teach more survivors about natural selection and hopefully they'll adapt! -
Ooo, that sounds interesting! Here's my killer idea!Vortexas said:Diseased Touch
When striking a survivor the filth from your weapon/claws inflicts a disease on them. If they spend 90 seconds in the wounded state, they immediately transition to the dying state.
Basically this killer will have a hook that he can throw and hook survivors with! If he hooks a survivor then he can pull them directly to him and get a free hit! This power would have a CD but I don't the numbers yet tho!
Add-ons would affect his CD on his hook, status effects on his hook, and having increased hook range! -
I'm strongly against the idea of having an actual killer from our world be added to DbD.KingArthanal said:
I think mods did right when they banned him for being offense. We don’t need such ppl here. Anyway, what is your opinion on his suggestion?
Here's my reasoning:
The real life killer has done something completely unacceptable! It doesn't matter if that person done something as big as doing a school shooting or as little as accidentally having a DUI caused car crash. The point is that their actions are unacceptable and why put then in a game if they did something that was unacceptable? It's like saying "Hey I did something really cold and yet I get rewarded by being on a video game!" It's gives DbD's players a bad example and can encourage younger players to be like that killer to be on a video game. Additionally if they are on a video game then they will have their name in history, I know we have history so that we don't repeat it but some things aren't worth putting in down in history, ya know? We already have enough examples in our history timeline to follow by!
Sorry but I don't like talking about this subject, it makes me upset just seeing someone suggest such a thing.

I don't know anything about him really but he does have bad discussion etiquette for sure. However any post that's offensive will probably get a mods attention and they will probably take it from there. It doesn't matter how polite you are about the post, if it's offensive then the mods will have to take care of it.
