I think its nice like that but i feel as I would much rather oppression and surge is probably just better.
Oppression has a much larger cooldown but it only requires 1 generator kick, itd be dope to trigger eruption on 3 generators instead but then again you did just waste the time of kicking 3 generators instead of 1, which is a big difference.
Surge's m1, cooldown and range limit suck, yeah, but the huge gap from eruption that makes it just better is you down someone -> instant regression, while eruption is you kick the generator -> down someone -> instant regression.
I think with PGTW eruption would be really good since you would kick the generator anyway before the chase but i feel as taking eruption alone as a gen regression perk isnt enough, but i feel like surge as a solo gen regression perk or even oppression can get the job done better.
-
If i already got a kill then yeah ill take it but if all 4 survivors can escape i won't take it. You guys get more bloodpoints for escaping, and I get a depip so i hopefully dont have to stay in red ranks. Talk about a win-win.
-
I think it can be worth running but its a bit situational, and people dont really like perks that can only be useful sometimes as opposed to basically everytime. I like lightweight and the difference of 3 seconds earlier is quite noticeable and can really help in some chases where you already had a good head start, but besides that theres not much else and wont really help against really good killers.
My personal favorite part of using it is the feeling of safety with just running around, I usually just spend practically the whole trial sprinting as the marks disappear quickly enough to where I most likely wont be getting caught.
It's nice.

i never knew ace's tuxedo was dlc bound exclusive. Feeling bad for those who bought ace with auric cells as they miss out on quite literally possible perhapsibly the best outfit in dbd
-
if you already have a killer you play id say go for killers with fun perks to use on your main

You have to take the good with the bad, as in any other multiplayer PvP game.
to be fair in most multiplayer PvP games you wont have a penalty for quitting and finding a new match (like call of duty for example), and most that do only penalize you for leaving a competitive game instead of a casual match but we're forced to play "competitive" games in DbD so damn
-
has undying really not appeared at all lmao
-
Moris still have a very good use, once someone is dead on hook you can just kill them instead. That means they wont be sacrificed on a hook, therefore the hook wont be broken for the remainder of the trial that you wouldve normally sacrificed them on.

My first time I found it extremely hard to navigate on it. Discordance showed me 2 people working on a gen, it popped before I could find out how to get there. I see the basement hooks under the floor but can't find the entrance lol.
Way too confusing to navigate, I hated it. Far too many safe vaults and safe pallets too.
Exactly, I was going to a gen i saw with visionary and literally ran into 4 dead ends and never got to that gen.

If you don't, you are restricted to a single perk option for your subsequent webs until you take pick the teachable. Clearly a deterrent to force your to take the teachable.
You can work your way around and progress in the bloodwebs without obtaining it, that means it is optional. The game is not forcing you to get the teachable to go to new bloodwebs.
-
yo when they next dlc drops and you dont want their perks on your killers then maybe dont unlock their teachables? Nothing is forcing you to unlock them, you can still level them up without getting them.
-
No I actually have rarely been tunneled yet.
If I get unhooked when the killer is right next to me and they dont have BT then i usually would get tunneled (If they do have BT and they hit me theyll go for the unhooker instead.)
But I dont blame the killer, its the survivors fault for unhooking.
-
Happening to me on PC, glad to know my graphics card isnt gloopin out.
-
you can only wiggle about 75%, if you wiggle above that you would instantly be freed if the killer tried to drop you
-
Sorry to put your idea down like this but ive seen this exact same concept on the forums too many times, noed is fine as it is.
-
The only legion buffs I've ever wanted were addons buffs and changes. There's too many pointless addons and most of them barely do anything. Like Julie's Mixtape reduces your 4 second stun by 0.2.
I imagine its something similar to Any Means Necessary, where they were afraid it might be OP so they gave it a very long cooldown. They obviously dont want Legion to become a problem again so they overnerfed his addons a bit. I hope most of them get the same treatment as AMN and recieve buffs since it didnt make Legion into another mess. Crazy to think Legion's old FF cooldown stun was 3 seconds without addons, and now you have to use both the best addons for it to make it 3 seconds.
As for Trickster idk i was on DbD hiatus when that chapter came out.
-
Trust me this perk is definitely really far from underrated. Very good perk and is very popular. If you arent seeing this used at all in purple or red ranks then who knows.
-
So a tryhard killer is classified as using 4 mediocre perks and 2 ultra rare addons that arent good? My bad.
-
probably was just looking up or down before he gave up
-
I'd go with either although preferring farming because i have so many survivors at level 1 that i want their teachables for but i need to level up my killers and im dying inside.

Ooooh. I say collect it. You'll never get another again.
Do they just sit under offerings saying retired? Guess its time to never prestige.

I guess I'm just missing the point in finishing the game fast as killer. To your point about survivors "genrushing", the killer can stop this from happening (i.e perks and chasing survivors off). However, survivors cannot stop killers from camping/ tunneling. My point here is that survivors seem like they're "genrushing" because they're finishing their objective without resist, killers can finish their objectives without camping and/or tunneling.
Why do you think survivors cant have a way to stop it? They have Borrowed Time, Decisive, Adrenaline, even breakdown can help, same with mettle of man. The killer will most likely be camping/tunneling when 4/3 survivors are alive and when that happens all you do is swarm the hook, its really easy to stop a camping killer, stopping a tunneling one is trickier though but can still be done nonetheless.

I didnt saw any talking about that lately so i thought i would give a head up
Wish they reworked the daily a bit in general
yeah i always wish dailies were just better in general
much preferred the old dailes of unhooking 12 survivors for 120k bloodpoints

I'm not a fan.
Ruin (+Undying) is great IF you can apply pressure to both gens AND totems, but that's not easy to do for a regular 115% killer. You need some mobility, or some incredible aim and lucky shots with a hatchet.
I find Corrupt + Surge to be much more efficient gen slowdown perks, still eliminates the need to kick gens (at least some of the time) and gives you a good indication of where survivors are spawning.
I see, thanks for the recommendation. I tend to run perks more for chases because i dont mind if they all escape if i had some fun chases but ive been wondering what kind of build id want to use if i was actually trying to stop gens and win.
On m1 killers i was always more of a "spirit fury, enduring" type of player anyways.

@Razorbeam said:
You gotta protect your totems better, sure you're gonna have games where rng screws you but if you're causing enough chaos in the time they buy you it shouldn't be that frequently that you're loosing both.
If in doubt bring emergency pop.
Probably because i was playing a killer thats bad at applying pressure, I can easily see why this would be good on the better killers or high mobility killers in general but i hear a lot of people say its a good build for standard m1 killers and i feel like thats not the case.
-
I'm surprised ive never seen this before. I've lagged back into a wall many times but nothing like this lol.
And god why do i see this becoming an actual perk.
-
Trust me, i've taken many moments to talk about this. There are so many posts about this, for good reason of course because this ritual is a bit tad little dumb. Hope it gets patched.

Wraith
But dishonorable mentions go to nightmare and huntress for both having one meme perk (bloodwarden and huntress' lullaby) and two garbage perks
Bloodwarden is actually a good perk though and can win games for you. Fire up and remember me are fun to use in builds that really compliment them (same with bloodwarden too.) Honestly all of freddy's perks are pretty meme-y and fun to use.
Huntress' are just straight-up bad.

Perk tiers barely even matter on some perks, examples like devour hope, mettle of man. Some perks are completely just not worth running at tier 1 like up the ante and aftercare. They've been changing perks to have them actually usable at tier 1 but some like up the ante cant really work that way, its forever gonna be basically useless at tier 1.
People don't like tiers on perks because the other tiers just take up room in the bloodweb and drain your bloodpoints, which makes sense. Maybe if they just made all perk tiers cost 4k or 5k bloodpoints instead of it going up because of the "rarity" of the perk.
Wouldnt mind them completely removing tiers either, and perks were just...perks.
TL;DR Not that impactful gameplay-wise, but definitely is bloodpoints wise. Wouldnt mind tiers going away but it has that nice authentic dbd touch of having to upgrade your perks.
-
Why would survivors want to genrush?
To finish their objective as quickly as possible.
-
Legion's been common for the past 2 years

Easy.
I'd kill for a skin of Ethan Winters for Leon, Jack Baker for Trapper, and Karl Heisenberg for Doctor or Trickster.
no Mr. X for nemesis :(?

I'm gonna say NOED even though it literally only ever comes into play 1/20 games and thats only to 1 shot the last survivor or something. It just feels reassuring that ill probably have redemption if something bad happens.

I just list in what thing can counter Trapper's power. Not only perks, it come with item and even offering (I dont know if Luck offer still affect it). No other killer power can be countered by item & offering.
nemesis, hag, wraith, nurse with flashlights
-
Most of the time people used small game to find totems easier. Sure it was nice having it when you were against a hag, but against trapper it was a little unfair yeah, considering how bad trapper is already. No one ever ran small game in fear they were against a trapper though, hence they changed it to directly affect totems instead as thats what people were mainly using it for and it was unfair against a trapper.
-
I mean, yeah. NOED is a powerful perk (when it works), but with the new small game and the new jill perk totems are gonna be gone fast, especially in SWF.

I can list everything:
- Map spot traps
Small game spot trapsToolbox destroys trapSaboteur destroys trapSlippery increase escape chance- Dead hard
- Luck offering
true because luck offerings and maps are perks

disabled
-
No, at least not for any survivors. They'll just replace jill/leon with skins like chris.
-
its way more fun imo, but one thing that everyone can agree with is its just the best way to get points.
Even if someone mains survivor, theyll usually play a bit of killer every once in a while with bbq so they can easily farm points for their surv.
-
bodyless myers
-
you need to do it with friends
then, just keep casually playing but make sure someone has a key with you
just forget about even doing it and focus on a different challenge or achievement but keep it in the back of your head and eventually you'll have a match where you all dont die with all gens done then you can focus on finding the hatch and all escaping through the hatch. Trust me, running perks and offerings just to help get this achievement isnt worth it. Youll get it done after a bit of just playing casually.
-
I want the game fixed and running well as much as the next guy but you gotta understand how many people would drop dbd (even if its temporarily) because of no new chapters, people need that new stuff every so often so they dont get bored.
Also, I'm not sure why you included prestige in this? I mean, itll be nice if they gave an extra benefit to it but the way it works is fine. If you prestige, you get a bloody cosmetic. If you don't want it, then don't prestige. Simple.
-
He's awesome to against, I love turning around and watching meg get sucker-punched around the corner.
-
"if this game is survivor sided how come all of my survivor friends who suck at the game cant win?"
this is what this sounds like
There's a handful of things that are survivor-sided within this game, that doesn't make every survivor automatically have an advantage against the killer. There are many MANY survivors out there who are, to put it simply, horrible at the game, which is why this data exists.
-
Yeah pretty spot on. It's very nice to hear the survivor cough even though theyre healthy or even with iron will though but thats about all its good for.

Is the resident evil dlc out on switch yet? I've heard this completed killed console dbd this patch, ive heard the same issues are happening on ps4 and xbox rn but i know the switch version has lower fps comparatively.
