It only deactivates if you start healing someone else or yourself. If a teammate heals you then it doesn’t deactivate
-
Are you stupid? I explained why there will always be unjustified complaints about him being OP...

Quite far from it. I actually play both sides equally so you can assume some more. I can assume you're a new player who doesn't know what they're talking about since you assume I play in a way that's unfun/unfair to survivors all the time. Do you see now how assumptions work now?
Difference is that mine wasn’t an assumption since you admitted that you tunnel to get snowballing pressure
-

Yes it is tunneling. Let's stop with the stigma that all tunneling is bad and should be punished. If survivors are playing poorly and you're downing them in succession, killers shouldn't be punished for playing well and survivors shouldn't be awarded for playing poorly. This is just survivor entitlement. If you've never come across this while playing killer in this time, then you've never played killer period.
Lol I’m guessing you just proxy camp every game and think you’re an amazing killer because you get an easy slug and free pressure on another survivor.
-
No just once

Let's not assume that everyone tunnels just because they're snowballing hard due to survivor mistakes. This happens all the time. I'm the last person to go out of my way to tunnel because I play survivor quite often myself.
That’s just your way of saying tunnelling
-
How about not tunnelling, you don’t have to worry about them jumping into a locker then...
Also it sounds like it deactivated when healing, not when getting healed
-
What is your definition of abusing DS?
-
The problem with bubba is that he easily destroys people who don’t know how to avoid his chainsaw which is the majority of survivors from what I’ve seen.
There will always be complaints because of this.

No I couldn't. You know why? Because there really are people on this forum who believe blindness is OP. They are still people who think legion is OP. This is why we need a font for sarcasm.
There are times when sarcasm is difficult to see when written in text format. This wasn’t one of those times
-
As a PS4 player this happens all the time. It’s basically any time anything happens in the game for the first time it loses frames. It can sometimes improve or get worse with each update.
Any new status effect being applied? Frame drop
Getting injured first time. Frame drop
Killers using a power for first time? Frame drop
And this is on PS4 pro not the old one
-
@AnnoyedAtTheGame said:
When a player t bags me on pallets drop. I will lose that game just so I can tunnel and camp that player to death. No other survivors mater when it comes to a t bagger in this game.
You do realise that’s exactly what they want you to do, and you just played right into their plan. And because people like you fall for it, they will keep doing it
-
Both killers are actually really strong so this thread is really stupid...
-
You’re not allowed to use perks as a survivor
-
He’s also still faster than survivors when the sword is in the ground
-
Lol threads on here are taking a new level of stupid
-
Just like there are counters/ways to avoid all the survivor perks that killers complain about.

I’m being sarcastic. The fact is gens can be done in 4-5 minutes. Only ruin or pop solves that problem on low mobility killers.
The “killer” isn’t out there to make sure the survivors have a good time. Being violently murdered is part of the game.
You think I’m going into a game as Micheal Myers, who literally murders every single person he crosses paths with, and being like “Oh I can’t tunnel this injured guy! He needs to go heal and get on a generator before I can do that!”
The reality is you will go play nice and STILL get DSd by full health survivors working on gens after hooking someone else entirely because that’s the pace the game needs to be played at with no slowdown perks.
It’s part of the game and you can play it how you want, and yes there’s bullshit stuff on both sides.
But that’s besides the point of this thread.
This thread claims tunnelling and doing gens quick is the same and has the same effect on the other person. It clearly doesn’t and whoever thinks it does should just stop thinking completely because you might wear out your brain cells.

Yeah? Then you are slugging, and everyone knows slugging is toxic. People who are slugged are not being allowed to play the game.
Slugging for pressure stops them playing for like 30secs until someone picks them up or they get hooked. The rest of the game they can play. Tunnelling they can’t play at all.
-
How can you honestly argue it’s the same thing? Unless of course there’s 4 toolboxes and bnp’s then you can’t compare.
If a killer properly tunnels a survivor and isn’t terrible at the game, the survivor can’t do anything at all apart from try to run and die.
If all survivors are on gens then all you have to do is find 1 person and you still get to play the game and it starts from there. If you can’t down them then that’s your fault for being bad. Whereas a survivor isn’t bad for being tunnelled cos the game is designed for the killer to always catch up.
Thats a huge difference.
For a survivor being tunnelled is completely out of their hands. A killer can do something about gens being done.
-
@Tsulan said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1904440#Comment_1904440
Oh the killer can still play the game, when survivor completed all gens and escaped? Please tell me more!
Yeah cos they can gen rush and open the gates before the killer can even catch someone? Okay you’re either playing a different game or comepletely terrible at this one
-
Tunnelling completely ruins the game for that survivor and they basically can’t play the game.
Even if survivors ‘gen rush’, the killer can still play the game.
Theres the difference.
-
@Kebek said:
Huh, seems like people want to play survivor more. I wonder why.
Well most people have friends they want to play with
-
Did you know that killers can burn map offerings too?
-
Tf?
-
All you have to do is walk over to them and they’ll run out. Or they’ll give you free hits which is extra bloodpoints
-
You only hate it because you seem to obsess about it. Just play the game normally. If they escape so be it. They are broken but will be changed at some point
-
Some people like me just want to play the game, farming is extremely boring in my eyes. If you want to farm then that’s your choice but if the others don’t then there’s nothing you can really do.
There’s times where survivor queues take a long time, then being thrown into a game where the killer isn’t actually playing sucks.
-
Do you honestly think using voice comms is something the devs didn’t intend? This game wasn’t made in the 90’s and the devs knew voice comms would be used and if you think otherwise then you’re a bit of a special case. If it was cheating it would be in the rules.
-
If you honestly think dead hard is OP then you’re either bad at the game, aren’t smart enough to deal with it or just love complaining about anything that help survivors.
Watch any top killer videos and you’ll see that dead hard is useless most of the time
-
@Venzhas said:
So basically the guy came here to cry , claiming hes camping tunneling and showing he DCs as well, and youre all like "ooh poor thing"
Am i the only to see it wrong ? 🤣 Or this forum is like 95% of killers mains only ?
Now imagine a survivor DC’d. This forum would go crazy to get them banned for life for breaking the rules and ruining others fun 👀
-
Lol this as stupid as if survivors would come on here to complain that the killer killed them too fast and got their objective done... I’m guessing that’s weak crap as well
-
@Huge_Bush said:
No, DS doesn't need a buff, it needs to be reworked into a true anti-tunneling perk where it deactivates the moment you work on an objective. The last thing that this game needs is to be balanced around bad players,such as yourself, who can't hit simple skill checks . What needs to happen is for match making to quit matching you with players that are better and to pair you with similar potatoes instead.
Tbh if was turned into a true anti tunnelling perk then that would deffo be a buff, right now a killer can tunnel whether they have DS or not

I know that is what you where "trying to say".
But it doesnt change how utterly wrong you are, and how utterly unfeasible that is.
Nothing you’ve said is feasible. It’s impossible to make this game have no benefit to a swf on voice commS over solos, unless they give solos the ability to communicate too
-
@Leachy_Jr said:
People still thinking tunnelling or camping to win is toxic smh.
Start hitting people on hook if you wanna be toxic and shaking your head when you hit them down. Tunnelling is just a really efficient strat and camping only works in certain situations where the survivors leave someone on hook for too long.
At bagging and clicks clicks can be seen as an effective strat then if that’s the case since it quite often gets the killer to commit to a chase that they probably shouldn’t commit to.

I'm sorry what is a "killrush"?
A killer that is good at the game so kills really quickly?
######### knows but it’s no worse than the term genrush, which is the same thing for a survivor
-
Please say you saved a video of this? Sounds fun to watch
-
Killers kill on average around 60% of survivors or whatever it was they said.
Survivors kill on average 0% of other players.
Survivors are deffo the power role.
-
I really don’t understand this complaint killers that dead hard should be used to gain distance and should only be there to dodge an attack.
If it worked to dodge an attack, then they gain distance and get to the pallet/window.
If they use it for distance, the exact same thing happens, they get to the window/pallet.
The only difference is with the dodge you gain even more distance due to the swing recovery.
Can someone please explain why you’d prefer option 1 over option 2?
-
And I thought I’d seen some stupid posts on this forum before

so you say its ok that there should be no counterplay? so why are people complaining about facecamping insidious bubbas?
or should counterplay only work for one side?
Can you read?
-
@bkn said:
and thats the problem... going into a locker prevents no counterplay. its like noed without a totem.
somebody that goes into a locker while in chase doesnt have a logical reason to do so other than triggering ds.
when you get unhooked right next to a gen and tart working on it after being unhooked , you can´t be tunneled either.
this perk isnt used as anti-tunneling but simply to abuse it to the limit.
Again ######### are you on about prevents counterplay. The perk is there to counter tunnelling so it’s meant to work against someone that tunnels and the only counter is not tunnelling. It’s not meant to have a counterplay. It’s like saying lighborn should have a counter when that itself is the counter to being blinded.
imagine running an anti blindness perk and still getting blinded, yeah killers would cry hard.
imagine running an anti tunnel perk and still getting tunnelled, oh wait that happens all the time.
-
@bkn said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1866336#Comment_1866336
because somebody that is being "tunneled" is NEVER going into a locker. When you are in a chase and u jump into a locker the killer gets you.
when you get into a locker while not in a chase you can´t be tunneled right now.
So DS shouldnt trigger
######### are you on about. If I’ve got DS and a killer is tunnelling me I’m going to go into a locker so that I can actually use it and not get slugged. So yes it should trigger
-
Why does everyone say DS should be removed if you enter a locker? If a survivor is being tunnelled and has ds of course they’re gonna go into a locker. Tf do you want them to do, just accept going down cos of some tunnelling killer?
-
@Moxie said:
"So this perk is like a Nurse of survivor perks:"
I'm still laughing. Yeah, I get it I used to be a greenhorn too, back when DS didn't require getting hooked. But those two things are not even comparable.
Does anyone remember when they even considered making the skillcheck so huge you couldn't miss it? It was in a Dev Stream. Thankfully, someone put some smelling salts under their noses and woke them up from their fever-coma.
Don't run DS if you cannot hit skillchecks. Simple enough.
Would that even make a difference if the skill check was bigger? If you struggle to hit it then you’re probably not good enough to abuse the perk and are more likely to actually need it as low rank players get tunnelled more. Whereas the people that can abuse it shouldn’t really miss it

I wouldnt mind that but would it activate only when killer gets into a chase with you after hook? The killer could just loose chase for a second and the DS would be gone if they do that. I think the timer should be the only thing nerfed.
Nah like say the timer was reduced to 30 secs, that would only start counting down when out of chase, but would completely disappear if you touch gen or unhook.
-

I feel like if ther were to nerf the time on it DS would still be a perfect counter to tunnel. I wouldnt mind a timer nerf tbh.
If it was anti tunnel then the timer should only go down if you’re not in chase and it would activate after every unhook not just once

Nah, I'll stick take the one that lets me finish my daily and archives.
Your kind of thinking comes from the mindset of a player that likely already has most of the perks they want and are not desperate for blood points.
I’m just someone that’s wants to play the game and have fun when I jump on, not do nothing to get a minuscule amount of bloodpoints. And I’d probably get more bloodpoints white actually having fun of the killer played. Most challenges and archives you need the killer playing as well to complete them.

They are NOT the equivalent. At all. A DC'er ends the game. An AFK'er makes it easy mode.
When my new friend needs to unlock a door with Ace for a daily, she can do that against an AFK, she can't against a DC.
Need to unlock 3 chests?
Cleanse totems?
Get a new item and escape with it?
Harvest a Canker?
You can do none of these things against a DCer.
AFK killer is actually worse in my eyes. The reason people say DCing is so bad is because it ruins the rest of the game for everyone it the match, but it just makes it into a 3v1 which yes can suck as a survivor and killer but it can also still be fun and you still get to play the game and interact. And AFK killer ruins that match completely. The whole point of the game is to interact/chase/hide from the killer which you can’t do if they’re AFK but you can if it’s 3 v 1

How many killer Perks and associated offerings must be nerf until it satisfies the entitled survivors....
And the devs who listens and caters to them is ridiculous.
I've said it before and I'll say it again.
I've started dbd since the pandemic started, since than, its been a onslaught of killer nerfs.
And the continous entitled survivors who claims to be killer mains who continously defend this act ... and argue against me that somehow killers are not nerfed is ridiculous.
You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about because since the pandemic there has been way more killer buffs than nerfs
