This game supports discrimination of minorities

It's clearly demonstrated in how bullied killers are in the mechanics and balance.

The devs give all the fixes, attention and interesting perks to survivors, the majority of the population.

This game teaches you to gang up on those who are different and in a minority by giving you way more opportunity to defeat them than they you. It is so imbalanced you are treated like a 2nd class citizen.

Then afterwards it is permitted, if not encouraged for the chat to be toxic by belittling the killers after the game when they had no chance due to the oppressive game state.

The message is clear devs. You hate minorities and are encouraging people to gang up and bully those different and weird.

  • You're grasping at straws with this. All you are doing is slandering them because you're not happy with them. The devs are not discriminating against minorities, I would so far as to say they have a healthy mix of characters from around the world.

Anyone with more than 2 active brain cells can tell that it isn't discrimination that directs the devs decision, but money.

  • No.

    No, it doesn’t.

Toxic kids are in every online game, this game just have it worse than some others.

Selling out and discrimination. Catering to the rich and well off.

Very stunning and brave, you hit the nail right on the head.

  • Lol threads on here are taking a new level of stupid

There's no need for racism here just because you disagree with somebody. /s

  • Umm... Huh? I don't feel like dbd encourages anyone to discriminate against me. Like, at all. If anything, the game has a wide cast of characters and plenty of room to grow.

If you want to talk about balancing issues, go talk about balancing issues. But don't try to equate them with real-world problems.

  • This is a joke right?

  • Okay, so I'm not happy with how BHVR has been handling the game, but this is a MASSIVE reach.

I think you got confused about discrimination against people because they are in X group and not balancing things for one side.

  • This bait is worse than Flashlight Clickers.

Behavior is a business, they have every right to cater to people who are willing to spend money on their product. If you have a problem with it, feel free to go protest Apple, Ferrari, Gucci, Michael Kors, Prada and Rolls Royce. They all cater to the rich and well off.

As for Behavior, you only need to purchase the base game in order to have fun. Many cosmetics and perks can be purchased by using shards.

  • Uhh, you okay mate?

  • Look at all the bullying I've been subjected to for standing up for the oppressed class in this game

Bruh. I'm a Killer main and your argument is full of ######### at best.

  • The game has you lynching minorities and ppl are asking to have every minority placed in a realm of eternal suffering.

  • Survivors are given every advantage and have more choices in playstyle.

Killers are treated like crap, most of the perks are useless and have way more bugs to deal with that never have been fixed.

It's obvious why killers are dying out. It's because they are oppressed and quitting the game or switch to survivors

  • Queue times get worse and worse for survivors because less people are playing killer side. Most people only play killer for challenges, bloodpoints or because they're tired of waiting in the long queues.

  • The discrimination makes it tiring and stressful to play killers for more than a few games. This behavior and lack of interest has been stated and restated in the forums by many killer mains who are now a dying breed.

8 bucks on average, sometimes 5 sometimes around 13 or 14 every 3 or 4 months is not "catering to the rich". It is to the devoted, but to be devoted you don't need to be rich for that and likely are not playing or interested in other games too frequently anyways if you're staying constantly up to date on a grindy game. I used to subscribe to 2 eq accounts to use them together at the same time for almost a few whole years straight, but it was usually the only game I played most days outside of breaks for a few weeks for another game 3 or 4 times a year and I was pretty much often broke at the time otherwise.

They are selling out to those with the most money. That is the majority. The price is relative. That is a lot of money to some people and not as much to others, but clearly there are more survivor whales. It is the same as catering to anyone other social class in real life who makes them the most money. It is just virtualized and within the game environment itself. We have to 2 asymmetric classes here. One is treated well, one is bullied. Period.

  • You're equating survivors teabagging and flashlight clicking the killer to real world issues like racism, sexism and homophobia. Sorry but that's one hell of a reach and there is no comparison whatsoever.

Actually, most of the perks you Need as survivor in fact All of them are free perks now included with the base game and on meg, claudette, david and bill (jake if you want calm spirit but it's very situational and sabo is more for troll or coordinated swf while iron will is great against spirit but otherwise if you get hit by any other killer you screwed up already) and spinechill is a powerful perk with a bump to vault so even good for swf and does not need to be ground out at all in the teachable sense. DS is not Necessary, and I rarely have it actually put to use since I try to avoid the killer or am back on a safe gen rather than one in a killer's face after being unhooked. Sometimes I stopped using it altogether except for rough nights which were not very often that they got rough enough that I felt I needed an obsession deterrent or would actually need to proc ds or use calm spirit in the game and don't always have them in my loadouts any more. Killers do get doctor and hag/ruin on console, but otherwise need to buy most helpful perks or more mobile killers outside of specced wraith which is pretty mobile.

For a NEW player, the amount of dlc to buy is overwhelming, but they aren't gonna use most of those perks or killers and should look at which ones they'd really need and ignore the rest or buy the survivor appearance they prefer with shards if possible so that once they unlock their vital and free teachables they could then have the sharts for that survivor or a costume on it and then grind it up to level and get all those perks on it. The same with any killer they actually wanna use that isn't licensed at least, once they've unlocked the vital teachables. Which is more important for killers, to unlock only helpful teachables, and ignore ones that clutter the webs with no practical use. I was much more efficient grinding out my psn than my steam account using the knowledge of helpful perks and killers I preferred to play as. People can seek advice on that, look at the general consensus, and use the wiki to plan out the grind and dlc purchases and to see which could be gotten with sharts.

It has nothing to do with that. It has to do with the way each side is treated. One is catered to and overpowered. The other has bugs, interesting perks, much harder odds. Survivors have way more tools to win. Survivors are the majority. This has to do with one class being treated worse than the others. This isn't about racism, sexism or homophobia. This is about oppression which can happen to those populations that you stated of course. It has been a major topic of today's world. The same thing is happening to the people who are killer mains in this game. Treated like 2nd class citizens. This is discrimination. I want justice and equality and I understand how the ones you mentioned in societies want the it too.

Another way to put it is. The behavior of treating minorities as less than is the norm in this game. Killers are a minority and they are people too.

Anyone can be a minority. I think he means killers are the minority and survivors are the majority.

  • Sorry but threads like this accusing bhvr of discrimination of minorities has absolutely no place on this forum, I'm actually pretty appalled by the whole topic.

BHVR is a company that promotes inclusivity in everything and to class killers as some sort of minority group in an attempt to liken that to racism, homophobia, sexism etc is quite frankly one of the most offensive things I've read here. Comments of this nature will not be accepted here. Making light of the struggles that people have in their day to day lives, because of the colour of their skin etc is just atonishing.
