You must be a terrible killer, both are very strong if you learn how to play with then
-
Imagine thinking making the mori weaker is a bad thing and ruining the game. Lol. Please play something else then

Nothing about that is the issue can you read that in my post?
Specially going to gens as groups or with specific add-ons/perks purposely used for Gen Rushing players by going to each one doing multiple and then waiting when one person lures the killer is a Community Problem.
Are gen rushers a community problem? That’s your title. It’s exactly what you wrote lol
-
Yes doing the one objective in the game for survivors is a community problem.
-
This is exactly why this game will stop growing and people will just quit the game as soon as they start playing. You’ve just started playing a game with a new concept compared to all other games and are excited to play. You go into 2 games and get facecamped or tunnelled. You think ######### is this ######### game I can’t even do anything so I’m gonna quit playing. But no it’s the survivors playing stupid, there’s plenty of counters etc. If a competent killer camps or tunnels there’s nothing you can do
-
Isn’t this what everyone said about blight when he came out and now he’s considered one of the strongest killers in the game?
-
If survivors gen rush it's ruining the game for killers.
If the survivors mess around with the killer and blind with flashlights, it's ruining the game for killers.
What would you like survivors to do to?
-
Lighten up, don't be so focused on winning, it's only a game. If someone else wants to risk dying to save another then so be it, it's not like you couldn't have escaped the whole time
-
Have you ever camped or used NOED after all gens were done?
-
Probably lazy coding. How do we stop people changing loadouts when 15 secs left? Stop everything from working
-
If you actually want to improve at the game then I'd say make sure you're ready to lose plenty of games.
Killers that camp/tunnel/slug win most games against solo survivors especially but they have to do this to win because they lack other skills in the game.
Find an aspect of the game you're not quite good at, ie mind games, looping, tracking and practise that. You see a good looper? Chase him, to win it's the worst idea, to improve it's the best. Bring the slow down gens and practise how to pressure multiple gens while still chasing and hitting survivors.
-
Tbagging does absolutely nothing to a killer except for maybe trigger the ones that are overly sensitive and butthurt. It affects the game in no way at all.
Camping and tunnelling completely ends the game of a survivor who could have been waiting like 15mins to even get into the game.
If you really think that's the same then I'm not too sure about your ego.

OP asked for an explanation for survivors' overall risky behavior, not just the specific ones they encountered, as seen below.
I'm really curious if anyone has any sort of rational explanation why these type of things are far too common for survivors that should know better.
My explanation might be right or it might not, but it is an explanation I feel confident in.
That's cool and I'm just giving the explanations that I'm confident are more true

There's a psychological effect called "risk compensation". The gist is that the safer you feel, the more likely you are to take risks. Playing survivor, with all the second chances you get, you rarely - if ever - feel like you're at risk, so you're more likely to make dumb plays. Combine that with second chance perks like DS and your risky behavior generally being rewarded because of all your second chances, and you've got yourself players who have been conditioned to make dumb plays, because they don't suffer any real consequences from them.
Or maybe it's the fact that the other survivors don't want a boring ass game where all you do is hold a button at a generator while the killers just camps so they'd rather try something than being bored. Or maybe it's because they realise there's another person playing the survivor being camped and would rather take some risks to save them than letting them waste the whole queue time and game just being sat on a hook. It's not always stupidity, it's also being selfless or making the game interesting.
-
I'd say tunneling happens in about 1/2 of games, and full camping in about 1/5 of games, and this is either red or purple ranks.
-
Thanks, just good to know there is something that can be done about it
-
Hmmmmm, I just had 2 games where this has happened and it seemed like there was nothing that could be done. I only really play solo so I'm guessing everyone I was unhooking wasn't crouching despite them seeing the killer put the traps down... Fair enough then, guess that's just part of playing solo.

"Gen rushing and escaping means that game is boring for everyone and completely ruined for the guy being camped."
And that's how you make the camper depip.
"You can't use BT and DS to stop this because it will just end in a trade of who's being camped unless its a well coordinated save with a SWF who all have those perks"
You can. Because usually survivors just run the same copy pasted build again and again. Try intentionally camping 1 guy during the whole game, and check your results.
The killer clearly doesn't care about depip or he wouldn't do it. And even if he did that game is still ruined.
I've never tried it, but I'm pretty certain it would be very easy unless against a well coordinated SWF team like I said.

If they camp:
- You gen rush and escape
- You save them with BT and make them lose time with DS
Not even a camper can kill that person who's hooked if the team plays decently.
Gen rushing and escaping means that game is boring for everyone and completely ruined for the guy being camped.
You can't use BT and DS to stop this because it will just end in a trade of who's being camped unless its a well coordinated save with a SWF who all have those perks

Oh no! 1 game of yours got ruined by survivors. Yet the 500 games where I've been completely facecamped is perfectly fine.... This game is designed to let your opposition ruin your fun and it's all part of the game, just gotta deal with it 🤣
-
It's really not possible, I've tried to bring at least about 5 people into this game. There's so many bugs and killers just constantly face camp and tunnel. It's just not a fun game for new players to pick up the game and start playing online, and the devs clearly don't care.
