Happy late BDay Demo, Steve and weird looking man stealing Hag.

We have to summon the Demo.

Sprint Burst from Meg can be pretty helpful, not because you lose the Killer by getting outside Line of Sight but rather than Killers hate Sprint Burst and they usually won't chase a Sprint Burster who uses it "right".
I'd recommend using Fixated from Nancy (Stranger Things Chapter) with it because you usually want to walk to not waste Sprint Burst. Fixated let's you walk pretty fast while healthy and allows you to see your Scratch Marks. It also helps while trying to hide within the Killers Terror Radius (it works better than Urban Evasion).
Killers tend to ignore me when I sprint burst away so it's a good "outrunning" Build.
-
All of them are good, only the Knock Out rip off seems a bit weak.
I usually use recharge speed and Chainsaw Cooldown (Primer Bulb and Veggie Oil)
A very cheap combo which requires a yellow and brown Add-On, you could also use 2 browns for that.
-
Good Survivors will often unhook someone in the Killers face. They get smacked, while the Killer wipes the blade, they unhook and dead hard to force the Killer to hit the unhooked Survivor with Borrowed.
With Desperate Measures, this strat becomes more viable because you have a bigger reaction window. But you can't do it to early because the Killer then wouldn't even be done with the wipe anination.
I also love combining it with Botany to get very fast heals, and if the Killer has Dying Light while I am the Obsession.... hot damn.
-
The Shape back in 2016 right when he came out. I remember it being so scary. You only vs'ed Myers for 2 Weeks.
-
Billy's cleanest Pickaxe in the west.
-
Isn't that the Midchapter already? We get Balance Changes and Bug Fixes on Mid Chapters. The Game needs new content, otherwise People will get bored and leave the Game because of lack of new content.

You must be lucky as I experience being unable to hook survivors, kick pallets, vault windows, kick generators multiple of times in one game. There's been games where I've been unable to hook a single a survivor, I've been forced to just slug and force survivors to bleed out.
From my experience playing killer is unplayable against good survivors, because having a survivor being able wiggle free because of the hook bug can be the difference between winning the match and losing the match.
As I said in a previous post I do not play Huntress (because I'm bad with her), however, I know Huntress's hit box is like having a whale thrown at you. So from my POV the Huntress hit box fit was more beneficial for survivors, but if the hit box fix actually benefit Huntress players then I hold my hands up and admit I was wrong in that regard.
I haven't bough Blight, so I haven't experienced bugs with the perk "Dragon's Grip".
Also this was the listed bug fixes in my news feed when I opened the game (The last four patch fixes weren't mentioned in my news feed):
I just read "key changes". I was already ready to crab dance.

Café Latte or Cappuccino. It has to have a lot of milk in it otherwise it's to bitter and I hate the bitter taste.
I sometimes have phases were I drink tea but those are rare.
-
You lure Survivors trough a side where they can't easily escape to another Pallet. I used it and Survivors were in a dead zone because the nearest Pallets were blocked. I got pretty good use out of it.

I regularly see survivors with more gametime than many of these tourney players. Granted playtime isn't everything but after 3,000 - 7,000 hours no matter what you started out as you get damn good at the game.
Yeah but even those good Survivors are manageable. SWF Bully Squads with Object, Sprint Burst, Decisive and Unbreakable and good Med Kit's with Styptic's and Syringes (maybe a key). That's rare and it's not logical to include this kind of stuff into actual balance since it's like 0.5 % of the Player Base. You run into this bs in 1 out of 25 or 30 Matches, if not rarer.
-
Those tournament Survivors are
No, but seriously. There is a very small chance to get those Survivors in casual Matches, so it's not really realistic to say that Survivors are op if they are so rare in casual Games.
-
2 People trying to save a no mither lag switcher all the time while I tried to kill him to let the other 2 alive. I killed them all at the end cuz I was annoyed by them trying to save him even though they knew he was cheating.
-
Read trough an old Thread where I asked the same. A full sabo takes 6 Charges.
@MrDardon said:
Does anybody know how many Charges are consumed when sabotaging a Hook with a Toolbox?
Let's say I use the normal Toolbox with 20 Charges, how many Charges does one Hook Sabotage consume?
That's the link to my previous Thread.
-
Nah, the "Dead Hard into the Dying State and get exhausted" is the most op tech. Nothing can top that.
-
It is cool but the Knife is like frozen. It doesn't move at all. It looks like a sticker attached to the Monitor. They should add some wabble animation.
-
Watch Hex Ruin get used in 80% of Matches again...
-
He needs to cage 4 Survivors. I'd rather give him "Hit 4 Survivors with PotD" since it's more likely you get this in 1 Match.
-
He is decent. The only Problem with him which is frustrating is his low PoV.
-
I also have like 50 on Nurse, 100 on Bubba.
-
I just posted a Thread regarding that. I get very dizzy and disorientated while playing him. Also, losing Survivors in plain sight isn't very fun either.
-
I like his style, the only thing that bothers me is the low Point of View. You lose Survivors in plain sight and get very dizzy and disorientated.
-
For a second I thought you said "Sole Survivor doesn't need buffs."
It's not that solo queue is bad or unbalanced. If you get a decent Team, you can beat a Killer just as well. But that's the thing. IF you get a decent Team.
The randomness of Solo Queue is what makes it frustrating. You are on a hook with Kindred, everyone sees everybody and those Blendie's still hide in Corners, Urban towards you slowly and make sure they take the most stretched and longest way possible instead of running straight to the Hook.
Then you have this standard Meg who throws down 20 Pallets within 1 Minute while the Killer is like 20 Metres away, then teabag's and blames you for not surviving in a Chase long enough in after Match Chat.
It gets really exhausting after a while, then I switch to Killer because it's still more fun and interesting.
-
Oh no, I can feel the 20 % PP increase.
-
If I want to calm down, I play Huntress. Aiming requires you to be calm and I somehow automatically calm down when playing her.
She is strong as well so you can win any Match if you're good enough with her.
-
I recently started using Hope and Fixated. Walking looks extremely hilarious in End Game. It's like the Character needs to go to the toilet asap.
As Killer probably Mad Grit, Agitation. I pretty much never use it but it's meme'y.

I actually don't mind moris that much. I mean, if I had to pick what mori was most unbalanced, ebony would do it cause it can cause some really short games, but ivory I'd say is fine and cypress should be basekit cause I believe the killer kinda earned that right.
Ivory Moris are still unfair for the one dude who gets tunneled and morie'd right off the bat. They are not op or strong as Ebony's but they are just as unfair.
-
In terms of Unfairness:
Surv: Skeleton Key, Dull Key
Killer: Ebony Mori, Ivory Mori
In terms of Strength:
Surv: DS, Unbreakable combo. Maybe put Soul Guard in there.
Killer: Noed, Thrill of the Hunt with Camping. They'll never get all gens done, save the dude from the hook while also doing all Totems slower at the same time.

Are you having problems getting into games - if so, what locations are you (eg EU/NA etc, I don't need specifics) ?
I play in EU.

Tried both now. I usually get killer games in an instant. Maybe people are yet to restart games?
Yeah, I have issues too. Can't find games, neither as Killer or Survivor.
-
While I agree with Nurse, she is really fun to play against and it's something new, I have to disagree with Spirit.
Playing against Spirit is pretty much a guessing game, for that I can also flip a coin over and over again, she has no real tell when she uses her Power, she leaves you without feedback while she can hear you easily and hit you.
The Problem with her, even if she misses, she doesn't get punished as heavily as Nurse even though she has a very powerful ability.
Nurse gets the missed hit recovery, fatigue, blink recharge and slow movement speed while Spirit only suffers the missed hit recovery.

I think it's the other way round. You should hear something that sounds like a gunshot from a distant gunslinger but it sounds like the same sound effect hearing a distant Pyramid Head. I don't even know what makes Triangle Face make the gunshot noise.
Idk either actually. I can perfectly tell them apart, even with distant noises.
People also seem to have issues with telling apart Billy's and Bubba's Chainsaw noises. I can tell them apart very easily.
-
We need more generic Perks.
-
Nice, my Survivor Load Out already consists of Spine Chill and Kindred.
Survivor:
- Spine Chill
- Kindred
- Plunders Instinct
- Resilience
Killer:
- Sloppy Butcher
- Bitter Murmur
- Whispers
- Unrelenting
-
It would be cool to have another global emote for all Survivors and then 2 unique for each individual Survivor.
-
Nurse and Huntress are my most enjoyable ones right now. After that probably Deathslinger and Billy.
I love precise Killers, that's why I use Shadowborn on 3 on them.
-
How can someone think that a requirement for an "Hemorrhage" Add-On is a good idea? Even if it didn't have the Torment requirement, it's still be extremely bad and pointless.
-
Posted it in Bug Reports yesterday. It robbed me so many downs. I won't even play her until that gets fixed.

I haven't tested this but my guess is that they just used one simple way to detect the hits: If the survivor would receive damage, it will check if the Killer was too far or not, ignoring how he was damaged. Looks like they didnt coded it for Killers with ranged abilities to damage survivor.
Maybe this can happen with the Plague too?
I don't know. I had time for Huntress because I couldn't play to much. I'll probably test more this evening.
-
You can't really play Huntress with this. If a Survivor is hugging you, you can't hit them with a Hatchet. It spews blood but it won't damage them at all because the hit doesn't register.
-
Working your way up to a good Nurse is frustrating and stressful, especially with her blink restrictions now. But if you get good with her, the Cooldown won't really bother you and she'll be extremely fun.
Only frustrating parts are her bugs like (not being able to hit after a blink, multiple dead zones on some maps, whiffs even though the blade was right on the Survivor, hits even though the blade was nowhere near the Survivor etc.)

Yew Seed Concoction combined with Oak Haft would be to strong.
You'd hit a Survivor with a Hatchet, they get nowhere because they don't get a speed boost, you have a shorter cooldown and you'll hit them 2 seconds later.
I'd see this become really annoying.
I like the base kit addition and I really like the Iridescent Belt. It rewards you for being a good Huntress, but it should probably reduce available Hatchets to 3 since you can potentially have unlimited Hatchets.
-
Play against Umbra level of Huntress with Iri. Heads and you'll see how "fair" this Add-On is.
And I'll be certain that there are a lot of real good Huntresses out there.
-
I wouldn't really use Surge and Ruin since both do pretty much the same. They kick gens for you.
I am all Ears can be solid and gives good info inside a chase, but Freddy has a good Chas ability so Chase Perks aren't really needed on him either.
BBQ is always great.
He is good without Add-On's as well, so you can basically use anything on him.
I use him with BBQ, Pop, Corrupt Intervention and Dead Man's Switch.
BBQ and Pop allows me to instantly teleport to Gens to slow them down after hooking someone.
If I hook the Obsession, I can bait a Teleport to instantly block a Gen or two with Dead Man's and Corrupt for early game slowdown.
I basically always get something for hooking, Pop or Dead Man's Switch, and I don't really run Add-Ons on Freddy because like I said, he doesn't need them.
-
In terms of Gameplay probably Trapper.
If someone gets trapped, sometimes I stand beside them and wait till they escape the Trap to smack them down afterwards.
Or if a cocky Survivor shows off DS, I trap the Locker and leave them. Not to far though.
In terms of Lore, idk. I don't really read it.
-
Engraving Nerfs were reverted. They are the same as pre Nerf. And yeah, Silent Billy is pretty strong. Either use both Ultra Rares or the Mash.

There are maps where killers are strong, maps where survivors are strong and balanced maps where both have their chances... If you get unlucky just play through and move on
Or Maps were both are screwed, which makes it balanced in Theory.
But..., be aware of the Square.
