Kate and Hag are not in the rift (so no tracks) but in the event-tome which is only open for 2 weeks. They are free to get there! You just need to get the challenges done to get to the nodes

I personally prefer seeing what I have left to get in a more visual format, so I used to make these in Canva and share them on Steam. I finally found the time to do that this year! :)
also, Kate and Hag have exclusive cosmetics in the event tome and Jane and Dwight have time exclusive in-game store outfits (which I think will come back next year and be available for shards?)

Little Nightmares - The Lady as a killer with light/shadow based powers, incorporating mirrors somehow, I guess Six and Mono would best work as only cosmetics for existing chars (eg a Yellow raincoat for Meg or Monos cosmetic for Jake?)
Dont Starve - technically not horror, but.. survivors abducted to another realm, getting killed by monsters, survival game.. seems fitting for DbD if you ask me. Charlie as killer (shadow hands, maybe another twist on darkness like Dredge)
Hannibal - either based on books, movies or TV show (though Hopkins version is great I don’t see it fitting for DbD); I don’t get why people see him as just a dude.. Clarice Starling and/or Will Graham as survivor/s!
I Know What You Did Last Summer - this one is so niche I don't even think I've seen anyone else talk about it, I just imagine doing a 5 Gen chase as Helen Shivers only to die in the end game. We need Sarah Michelle Gellar representation in this game somehow
yes please! Ikwydls for me personally belongs to the slasher genre right next to Scream, and Helen Shivers was such a great character, best chase scene!

Pretty sure even if he isn’t from the movies he still counts as a licensed character and cosmetics will only be available with auric cells and have to be created with the license holders approval etc.
i kinda hope for at least an ugly Xmas sweater? I think almost all licensed survivors that got introduced after those started got them, right?

Whilst this was before my time, the likely reason is that it was being extremely abused as it was a pretty nasty issue - these days we'd be able to killswitch the addons.
Wait, the killswitch can be used on specific addons as well? I thought it was only characters, perks, maps..

Pretty sure these are not ban worthy. If they deem it too much of a problem they can killswitch blight/flashbang - that’s why the killswitch feature was implemented after all..

though Hannibal would also be interesting. I kinda would prefer the tv show version for DbD or even the book version.

Telling people that being immersed and hiding in the game is equivelant of "holding the game hostage" which is considered CHEATING... Poor form bro. Cuz if this were a factual statement, more than 40% of the survivor playerbase would be immediately banned.
Look man. The devs have stated it is considered taking the game hostage if all survivors in a match stop progressing the gens completely for a long time.
playing immersed and hiding is one thing. I never said that would be considered holding the game hostage. You still have to progress the game however.
also banning only happens if the players get reported with evidence. And then the support team from BHVR will decide if it is actually against the rules or not.

I heard some devs on twitter say "these are only the patch notes for the PTB" so I was hard copium for at least some minor balance updates.
At least I heard the FPS should actually go up a fair bit with the optimizations done to sound/anims

People would complain of blackface / something in that realm ( I dont know the term for it ) if you could switch between say, david and a black character on the same survivor.
Luckily we already have Sheva as a Jill legendary and I have seen zero complaints about it!

If you are on controller, definitely Artist as the others are harder to control. Artist also brings Pain Resonance which is a strong perk on its own and easily comboed with Dead Man Switch. Also Pentimento can be fun.
Negative on her is that the main counter for survivors is holding w and chases can get very boring even though her crows can be fun situationally

Ahh thanks. That explains a bit. I noticed 2 extra prestige levels on my Hag but no one else even though she wasn't on level 50.

I think there is such a setting in the config file (gameusersettings.ini)
though while editing this while is not directly against game rules afaik, the devs still don’t really advise to do it as EAC might ban for it and then BHVR won’t be able to do anything against it as technically you are altering game files..

I think the 2 prestige levels for characters on lvl 50 should come with the next update. Though there has been some kind of bug regarding prestige levels recently that got fixed? Don’t know the exact specifics and mechanics though

yeah as I said, Chapter DLCs in the platform stores might get discounts. Though character discounts in the in-game store are rare. The tome related characters (Ghostface and Mikaela Reid) will probably be on discount during Halloween though

Killer: Beta with 2 zombies similar to Nemeses
though realistically, either Michonne, Daryl, ######### and/or Rick would be survivors as those have gotten models/characters in other games. Negan could of course be the killer, but… he doesn’t have anything but the bat?

Discounts usually don’t get announced before they happen. Though I do think during Halloween event there are often discounts on DLC and for cosmetics.

Haven’t read others posts here but giving my 2 cents:
the big perk overhaul made things more interesting imo, especially perk variety on survivor side is greater.
on the killer side I think the gen time got a little bit less pressuring though I still need one to two gen protection perks (but I am pretty bad so..)
soloq still needs improvements and accessibility can always be better. Cheating is a problem but for casual players not as big as some make it out and apparently bhvr is actively doing stuff in this regard.

Obviously I am in love with the idea of Dredge having a female form using beautifully painted masks or mannequins for figure and form.
isn’t Dredge specifically referred to with neutral pronouns instead of male ones?
but yeah, I guess they could create more female based dredge costumes, they have great potential for literally anything
