My killer times are instant now. My survivor times are long as #########. NA player.
-
I watch random streamers a lot, especially after I've killed them as killer.
Players will literally run into the Killer if they have DS active just to use it and then complain about being tunneled. Stupid as #########.
-
SWF
-Game wasn't originally balanced with communication between the survivors in mind. Hence why we have perks to see auras and #########. The devs never rebalanced the game for SWF when they added it.
Maps
-Sizes. Some maps are just unfeasible for some killers to walk across and find a survivor without a gen or two going off.
-Tile placements. Some maps, like Ormond and Haddonfield, can have absolutely terrible placement of tiles that makes it incredibly hard to catch survivors.
-######### corn.
Perks
-Some perks are too strong. It's been a stale meta for years and the devs are scared of altering it too much(except for destroying Ruin).
-90% of the perks are absolutely terrible with no reason to use. The devs have said they're looking at some perks to change but that was a long time ago.
Killer viability.
-Some killers are way stronger than the rest. Others, way weaker than the rest. This creates an inbalance where you're seeing the same killers over and over again, especially as you climb in ranks.
Keys and Moris
-Everybody hates them

Are demons not horror

Yes i knew he can stalk through cracks i also knew about deathslinger too. My question was is it part of his ability that he can stalk u through holes but I cant expose him even tho I'm directly looking at him?
Because there are a lot of variables to unlocking him.
Where is he on your screen?
How much of him can you see?
Is he using his reveal range reduction addons?
Are you actually even looking at him?
-
He should have a jump. Can jump over certain obstacles. Can jump onto certain ledges(like the saloon). If he lands on a survivor, it's a hit.
-
Hey man, ranks don't mean anything.
-
Don't use BP add-ons.
-
Pain and suffering
-
The head piece is so good, it's a ######### shame you can't mix it with others
-
Don't put traps on after gens are all done.
-
I just go ahead and eat the DS as early as I can and hope my chases aren't too long.
-
Just wear headphones kekekeke
-
Whenever someone drops a pallet next to me or on me even though I didn't know they were there...

If ranks are such a good indicator of skill, why is it that most people at red ranks, and I mean the significant majority, suck worse than a broken vacuum cleaner?
Why is it that so many red ranks run Self Care?
Why is it that most red ranks don't look behind them?
Why is it that most red ranks cannot loop?
And, and this is the real important part, did you know that the survivor second-chance meta actually makes it easier to rank up than it already is? Right now, to pip at red ranks, you need to do a gen, a totem, a safe unhook, a heal, and a minutes worth of chasing. Not only do second chance perks mess with the emblem system (BT = free unhook, UB/DH= more chase, DS = more everything) but the system itself sucks.
I get people wanting to pretend that they are good at the game. I get wanting that sense of accomplishment. But the developers themselves came out and said that rank was a personal victory, not a measure of skill.
The people below red ranks are just that much worse. Think of the shittiest red rank and the best purple rank is worse than them. Now think of the shittiest purple rank. They are better than the best yellow rank.
Not always the case as with smurfs and people deranking on purpose/not playing for awhile BUT. It's very obvious to tell when someone's a red, a purple, or lower.
-
No gen sounds when the Pyramid Head patch hit I think. Think that one's been fixed though.

This is the worst thing about this new matchmaking system. Its giving brand new players like this a miserable experience.
We gonna pretend the old matchmaking wasn't already doing this

It's the Entity teasing the Killer.

I have 100% depipped from killer DCing around a minute into a match.
Had a match yesterday where a Bubba DCd after being unable to find anyone for a minute or two. I was crouched near him while he searched and didn't work on a gen or anything before he DC'd.
I black pipped.
-
Much better. Combination of the two. Like the new ones but much brighter and not so see through but still see through.
-
Run corrupt intervention and try to snowball before they finish all gens
-
Give it a week
-
Imagine needing bad players to make content
-
All I know is that I've been seeing a lot less calm spirits in my doc games and spine chills in my gf games. So, I'm glad the encryption is working for now with Killer locked.
-
It's for the upcoming Killer Specific MMR
-
If you're steam rolling the players you're up against aren't that good and you shouldn't be ranking up faster.
-
Look at this ######### guy over here
-
maybe a Bloodborne DLC
-
Yeah. Something got DL'd for sure.

I just dont think its worth it because of the 60 seconds. Thats 1 and a half gens if multiple people are on the same one
I think that's completely fine. Have to work a bit to get the perk activated and save it for when needed. If it was lower, you'd have people constantly blocking gens and the Killer just won't be able to touch them.
Imagine 4 people all with repressed alliance at 40 seconds activation. They'd just cycle their gen blocks and the Killer would never get any regression in.

Even so thats very situational
Pop is the second most used perk behind BBQ. Even then, RA will prevent the Killer from kicking your gen just normally to regress it.
RA is useful in any match(preventing regular kicks) and can waste a ton of the Killer's time if the gen they wanted to to use Pop on is blocked so they have to go kick a much less desirable gen.
It's even good vs Ruin because blocked gens prevent regression. If Nobody has been able to clear ruin yet and the Killer comes to chase you off a gen, RA it and it'll keep the gen saved for 30 seconds while Ruin is still up.

Summer outfits like Yui's sun set?

Thrill of the Hunt is like a must have for Hex Builds

^Yeah with how often we get ######### hair in AAA games like Elder Scrolls, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, etc., I gotta say BHVR has done a pretty good job so far with the hair.
-
As a surv - People come for the dumbest saves just because they have borrowed time.
As a killer - It just sucks when you find an injured surv, smack them, and they still had bt.
-
2/2 in a single match is not balance. The balance has always been an AVERAGE of 2/2.
Keep throwing new killers against rank 2a, especially without the random noob joining in on occasion, the "balance" would be completely #########.
Nickeh you can't just take a single game where although he 2Kd, and say "there, that's balanced!". Any semblance of balance will need to be taken from stats over a large number of games.
-
@Nickeh said:
You got a 2k and about 20k points, and decided you needed to write a forum post about how terrible that is?
The wait times, I'm right there with you... but the rest is ridiculous.
He killed the rank 17. He was bound to possibly kill one more if he got the rank 17 out early.
Also 19k bp is terrible as a killer.

The Last of Us is a competitive game. Uncharted 4 is a competitive game. COD is a competitive game. Warface is a competitive game. You still get put into lobbies with a variety of ranks. It’s definitely not a new concept. Every single game I play online has mixed lobbies. So I can only comment on what I personally have played. For me, this is the norm.
Dont play those games but a quick search shows that the matchmaking is a dumpster fire in those games.
Not to mention it got leaked that EA will literally match high rank players with good gear and paid items against new players who haven't bought anything to encourage them to spend more money.

The Last of Us? Friday the 13th? Uncharted 4? The Blackout Club? GTA 4? Warface? COD? Do you need me to name anymore?
LoL literally has mmr rating for every separate game mode and in ranked you wouldn't be getting iron ranks VSing Challenger players.
R6 Siege does the same thing.
Pretty much any competitive game matches via rank. Dots, csgo, valorant, overwatch, etc.
-
That's the general consensus.
Killer has advantage at low ranks cause survivors dont know what to do.
Sutvs have advantage at high ranks cause they pretty much control the pace of the game.
-
You haven't played a lot of games if you think that's how every multiplayer game works
-
With double cooldown add-ons your nightshroud cooldown is low enough to not really matter. That way you can serve that perk slot for a perk that's actually good.
Not to mention DD only works on the obsession as well.
I am running a pyramid head build with DD+Nemesis.
-
It'd be better to have a budget and then try to find your best deal for that budget.
-
Had a game where like 4 pallets spawned. I'm not kidding. I forgot which map. No main building, lots of trees. Ran this Pyramid Head around and there was... just no pallets. Found one pallet and stunned him with it. Ran through several of the loop structures around but no pallets, not even broken ones. Ran to one that was dropped by a teammate earlier and hopped it. PH destroyed it. And then we pretty much ran the entire map before he downed me at the 3rd pallet I found.
Was playing with my brother and we were both confused as ######### as the lack of pallets on the map.
I know the game's not supposed to do this but there was pretty much one pallet at each side of the map. This was only once though.
-
Clown for his perks.
Oni for a high level killer.
Deathslinger if you want ppl to cry at you for being OP.
-
@Artick said:
Let me tell you the truth. Killers 4ks 9 games out of 10 and it's all cool and balanced. Then they run into ONE team that's actually better than them, they lose and blame it on "op survivors", "survivor sided game", "gen rushing swf with crutch perks that in fact are just as crutch as the perks the killers was running". In order for the game not to be survivor sided in killer mains eyes they shouldn't ever lose a game or get outplayed.
Give us a break.
When I recorded the stats of my survivor games awhile back, the Killers 4Kd 16 out of 100 games.
26 out of those 100 games were 0Ks. 23 were 1Ks. Almost half the games were 0-1Ks.
These were solo survivor games at rank 1. I wasn't even running the OP meta perks. Just Kindred/Spine Chills/Resilience/Small Game. I can't imagine how much worse it'd be as a coordinated SWF for Killers.
-
Yes there is an app that lets people see the killer and people will dodge if you do a last second switch.
-
Yeah when this happens, I just follow the sound of footsteps and then down them afterwards.
It's like, 3 seconds you're wasting on flashlighting the killer when you can just gain a huge amount of distance.
