Like the other dude said, pretty recent where they mentioned they're moving hit detection to server side instead of it being killer-side.

Not really, the whole point of a chase is to try and escape it, and alot of times I've tried to be the killer and understand how other survivors manage to escape out of my chases but because I'm not ACTUALLY the survivor playing at that moment I would never be able to understand it
No the chases are to waste the killer's time for your team to do gens.
Get chased -> waste killer's time -> team do gens -> eventually lose killer/get hooked -> repeat.
Yeah you can escape but the chases are meant to waste time. If the killer chases you for 3 seconds and then you lose the killer... how much time did you buy for your team?
Are you playing around breaking line of sight? Are you mindgaming, trying to misdirect the Killer in your movements? Using walls/structures to your advantage? Like going to a jungle gym, you break left behind a wall and he cuts to the left too, to cut you off. But instead of continuing left, you break to the right. This will cause distance to be gained for you with the Killer having gone the wrong way and having to find you again.
Perks like I mentioned, QnQ to jump into a locker or something in the middle of a chase after you've lost line of sight with the killer. Same with Iron will, hiding in a corner or grass or something.
If you're just running through as many windows as you can, fast vaulting through them, he's gonna be notified everytime you jump through those windows and just follow you.
Don't wait at pallets. Know how much distance you have between you and the killer. Whether you have enough distance between you to go around the pallet loop again or if you need to drop it early to use that loop. Sometimes dropping the pallet early is good if the Killer decides to play the loop instead of breaking the pallet, and if he breaks the pallett, immediately move to the next loop.
Focus on wasting time, not losing the killer completely, cause sometimes they will just give up entirely on chasing you if you waste enough time.

Mindgame instead of trying to run through as many windows as you can.
Certain perks and things help like dark clothing(BLENDETTE), iron will, urban evasion, lightweight, quick and quiet, etc.
And you're gonna go down eventually, just accept ti.

Small Game.
Helps find traps when ur vsing trapper/hag/etc. and totems.

I can play with a 60% survival rate without exhaustion perks. Just running Kindred/Spine Chills/Resilience/Small Game.
They're not required to play. But they can extend chases.
Low rank survivors should learn to play without exhaustion perks so they can learn to loop/chase properly without relying on them. Using them as a crutch is setting you up for failure.

Since the event started, I've been letting almost everyone go(Killing anyone who's toxic or wants to die) so they can get crowns. I've deranked all the way to rank 9. Don't know how much further I'll drop by the time the event ends.

PH is as fast as the majority of other Killers, slower when he's leaving trails. Don't try to stun and run. PH is not even top 5 killers.

Here's where you're not getting it.
I'm not saying Killers are afking for crowns. I'm saying they CAN literally AFK to get their crowns.
So look back to the original point. Getting crown as Surv(urbaning and M1ing as you put it) is much more difficult than getting the crown as Killer(Just grabbing the crown...).
Killers don't NEED to sweat their asses off to get the crown. Killers sweating has nothing at all to do with getting crowns for themselves. Killers are sweating their asses off to deny the survivors getting crowns.
The AFK point is to show how ######### easy it is to get the crown as a Killer as compared to a Survivor(your original point of getting crowns...)
You gotta work on your ######### reading comprehension.

I main Killer. Hence why I grabbed all the killer crowns first. I pretty much just play Yui on survivor but I like to collect ######### so I'm grabbing all the crowns I can.
Here's the rundown of the points.
Your first point was that urban evasioning and holding M1 to do gens was just as easy as the Killers getting out with a crown.
My points are that doing the gens and getting out is infinitely harder than killers just existing and grabbing a crown.
Nothing you've said backs up your original point.
Let that sink into your mind and process a bit.

Killers aren't sweatin for crowns. Killers are sweatin their asses off to deny crowns.
I got all Killer crowns on the first day. I barely broke a sweat. Went into every game, grabbed a crown, and then ######### around with the survivors. Literally 1 match for each killer.
For survivors, I have about 6 crowns but I'm ######### having to deal with Killers tunnelling and mori'ing their asses off at rank 1. It's a ######### shitshow. It's just game after game of survivors DCing and suiciding and Killers denying crowns.

Points completely flying over your head. The point is that the Killer can very well just AFK and get the crown while the Survivors still have to work, essentially having to win, for the crowns.
Not to mention the fact that all the Killers are suddenly sweat mode now with the event going on.

When it happens to me, my soul mission becomes to return the favor.
Was playing with my younger brother once and this Adam was hookfarming us in the Killer's face. When he got hooked, we proceeded to just let him die on the hook. My bro even ran up to him and did the fake-out saves a bunch of times and watched him die on hook.

Spine Chills - Increased speed when Killer is looking at you. Also used to know you're at the right hook.

Here's my top five
- Your rando teammates - They, more often than not, are the reason for your deaths.
- Nurse - Can completely deny loops. Traverses maps real well.
- Spirit - Fast. Survivors can't see her during her power. People dc all the ######### time against her.
- Billy - Insane map pressure. One hit downs and quick pallet disposal.
- Freddy - Teleports/anti-loops/*stealth*
