But he is the worst killer. At least when skilled survivors are involved.
When playing against optimal survivors, you'll begin to see just how weak LF is.
I've said this so many times already that it has become exhausting, but I'll say it once more. Leatherface's main strength is camping. Unfortunately, that doesn't work so well against genuinely good survivors.

Can we talk about how great the Vinland Saga anime series has been so far?
Of course, I'm biased because Vinland Saga is one of my all time favorite manga.
-
Fallout: New Vegas fans should know.
-
Try playing Nurse without add-ons on a tough map against optimal survivors.
Then tell me again how overpowered you think she is.
-
Because people are figuring out how much she dominates in chases.
I'd much rather face a Nurse (even a good Nurse) than a Spirit.
-
The omnipotent Jeff.
Also, I didn't choose to become a Jeff main. Jeff chose me.
-
As a red rank survivor, I would much rather face a Nurse than a Spirit.
At least with Nurse, you can break line of sight and mind game her. You'll eventually get hit if the Nurse is good, but I can counter her to an extent.
Spirit is just Zzzzzzzzzzzz.... snoresville.... wake me up when the match is over boring.
I'm serious about Spirit.
-
Huntress is stronger than you think, and Leatherface is the worst killer in the game.
-
Been playing for two years, huh?
Yep, I believe you.
-
Has anyone mentioned Georgie yet?
-
Don't worry Groot,
Maybe one day Bubba will get the buffs he so desperately needs.
-
I would love to see a video of someone reliably juking Zubat's Spirit.
I'm not implying it's impossible, I'm just curious if there is such a video.
-
Still waiting on my Roman Emperor outfit for Jeff.
Feng's cosmetic is okay I guess.
-
It's quite simple really. Killers are only useless against skilled survivors.
That's because those survivors are very optimal in their looping, which means killers without anti loop abilities are going to struggle hard.
Survivors don't have to be in a SWF commando squad to be overpowered. Just four really optimal survivors getting matched together is enough to be overpowered.
Granted, there are other factors to consider, such as killer, add ons, and the map ect. But generally speaking, survivors can reliably win against most killer setups on many of the maps.
-
A lot of people consider solo survivor to be the most miserable experience in the game (I certainly do).
This is mostly due to a high number of incompetent survivors in the player pool.
In my opinion, the biggest litmus test for a good teammate is how well they loop. If you're playing in red ranks, looping is pretty much a requirement to be successful. Unfortunately, it's very common to have one or two weak links who get easily downed, thus, allowing the killer to build up momentum.
-
If the player count was high enough, I would say just create a separate mode for casual games. Keep ranked and casual matches separate.
-
I'll refrain from commenting about the map since it's still relatively new. Could be the first killer-sided map.
Even if it is killer-sided, my point still stands. The devs are lousy at designing maps balance wise. No map should be killer or survivor sided.

To be fair this map was made in 2016, they didn't even know back then how to balance the maps.
Lol they released Mount Ormond Resort and Temple of Purgation, both of which are incredibly survivor-sided. The devs still don't know how to balance maps.
-
Playing killer in red ranks is definitely not fun. I don't mind the challenge, but you constantly run the risk of getting survivors who will abuse map design (i.e using god windows).
Red rank survivor can be fun depending on your teammates. Overall though, I like playing survivor in red ranks. Going against good killers is fun, and there aren't as many trashy teammates imo.

I love playing Nurse, because I love slugging and snowballing the game into a gg within 4 minutes lol
Just never gets old.
I know, right? People like to denigrate the Nurse, but in reality she's a super fun killer to play. Nothing like spanking some sweaty rank 1 survivors who are used to M1 killers.
-
I guess.
-
Welcome to the world of garbage map design. We hope you enjoy your stay.
On a serious note, there's nothing you can do. Just hope the devs wise up and update these broken maps.
-
😂😂 Nothing is going to change.
Killers will keep earning those delicious blood points even though you think we don't deserve them. 😂😂

@Chaddad2169 I'm glad you finally understand.
Laurie is an angel who happens to be Jeff's lover. Which is why she gets the second spot.
Also, the reason most people forget about the importance of Jeff is because very few people main him. I happen to be one of the very few.
You see, one does not simply choose to be a Jeff main. Jeff has to choose you.
Only those who are truly worthy can become Jeff mains.
-
@Chaddad2169 Jeff is an omnipotent divine being. So, of course he's at the top.

I mean, Jeff is near the top. He's 5th and the highest out of the original characters
Jeff is at the top all by himself.
Laurie is right under Jeff all by herself.
Everyone else is under Laurie.
That's the correct survivor tier list order.
-
I'm pretty fond of the new killer actually.
He's fun to play, and I will be getting him to prestige 3 very soon.
-
Jeff should be at the top.
Laurie should be right under Jeff.
Nea shouldn't even be on the list because she's the entity.
Other than that, the list is okay.
-
@Commander_Fluffles How did you get the thumbnail for your video to show up?

My music genre of choice is 60s/70s soul and funk music.
This is one of the songs I was listening to most recently:

Actually, you get points as well for being close to the killer unnoticed. So, stealth is rewarded.
-
You can actually pull off some impressive jukes if you know what you're doing.
I've played against a few survivors that could juke effectively.
-
*cries in Jeff main.
-
That's not toxic at all. Wanting to play normally is perfectly reasonable.
Killer was probably salty because he lost a BBQ stack.
-
Because if survivors are very good at looping, then any killer without anti loop abilities will not be able to win.
Map design still heavily favors survivors.
So yeah, that might have something to do with it.
-
Probably Doc and Freddy.
-
If I am playing survivor, then I'm usually delighted to see a legacy survivor. It means I might not have to worry about the whole team getting slaughtered quickly.
-
I have a pretty good understanding of this topic as someone who plays both sides a lot (I still view myself as a killer main tho):
For one thing, DbD does have a long history of balance issues. Killer mains are right in their assertion that the game is generally survivor-sided. This imbalance is mostly due to map design however. Killers without strong anti loop abilities will have a difficult time against genuinely good survivors.
Many survivor mains don't want a relatively even playing field, so they constantly argue with killer mains about balance (even though the survivor mains are misguided much of the time).
That said, both sides can be unreasonable over anything really. There are killer mains who want to protect their overpowered setups (and of course that's wrong too). Or, some killer mains get upset over the smallest nerf to something. Point is, both sides can be petty and misguided. But killers do a legitimate claim when they say DbD is not balanced.
I think if the devs just fixed map design, everything would cool down a lot more. The survivor mains won't be happy, but now everything will be relatively even. The survivor or killer mains won't have much reason to belly ache then.

Ace Hefner has the best cosmetics.

Spine Chill. I love having the extra awareness.

This reminds me of my console days.
-
In most cases, yes they are.
-
*sad oinking noises
-
Imagine cleansing against the Plague lol.
This is why solo survivor is so miserable.
-
I can play without Ruin on my Nurse or Billy.
But I prefer having it on my other killers.
-
I once got bamboozled by Head On pretty hard.
These survivors were acting really strange and were swarming around quite a bit. I downed one and chased the others off. When I picked up the downed survivor, he escaped before I could move.
I was stunned because I couldn't figure out how he escaped. I went over all the possibilities in my head and nothing made sense.
At the end of the match, I found out one of the survivors had Head On + Quick & Quiet. Talk about a 200 IQ play. Since then, I've seen a lot more people using that combo. I guess it started catching on.
-
It's funny because whenever I'm playing survivor my teammates usually don't have DS. And then they get tunneled off the hook lol.
On a serious note though, I think DS should be tweaked. 60 seconds of pick-up immunity is not an anti tunnel effect imo.
-
Survivors still have map design on their side though.
-
There are three major flaws with your list:
- Jeff is Jesus, so he should be at the top spot.
- Laurie is an angel from heaven, so she should be right under Jeff.
- Nea is the entity, so she shouldn't even be on the list.
In summary, the list should look like this:
Jeff>Laurie>Everyone else (excluding Nea who isn't even a survivor).
-
The devs can do whatever they want with moris. Never cared much for them.
