Because when I play a new match I would like for things to be relatively balanced. It's not fun to be a victim of poor game balance.
-
It's good if you know the proper time to use it. Problem is there are so many baby survivors that constantly use it to heal instead of working on gens.
-
I agree that players should tone their sweatiness down, but playing certain killers is not always inherently sweaty (although i might agree to that notion in regard to the spirit lol).
-
And now you know why solo survivor is such a miserable experience.
-
*cries in Jeff main
-
At one time I liked the Spirit. That was when she was first released.
-
When I'm trying to get the killer to chase me or when I'm safely at the end of the exit gate.
-
Welcome to the club!
-
I'm not a fan of the Spirit's power.
In simple terms, it's very hard to juke a Spirit when she can track you but you can't track her.
Once a Spirit gains enough experience tracking survivors then most of the counter play from survivors is gone. Even if you make yourself harder to track, a good Spirit will still catch you. At least that's my experience so far.
-
I'm pretty sure people made multiple threads about this right after her voice change, but the devs still ignored all the feedback.
-
It's funny because survivors still won't run DS and BT.
-
Leatherface for the most part has always been the worst killer since his release. The only killer that comes to mind who might have been worse was PTB Ghost Face.
-
Ummm duh?
-
Ruin is needed against good survivors. Even then, high tier killers can be played without Ruin (which sometimes is quite difficult).
-
And having an abundance of safe pallets isn't healthy either. But I don't see survivor mains complaining about that issue.
-
With M1 killers, I recommend using Enduring + Spirit Fury. If you're up against good survivors, those perks will be more helpful.
-
It depends how close you are to the Huntress. If she is relatively close then you can't really dodge the hatchet on your own. You might be able to get her to miss with some tricky movements, but a good Huntress rarely misses close range shots.
If you're farther away, then you can attempt to dodge. Just be aware that a Huntress can predict your dodge and still hit you. All I can say is practice dodging long range shots. You'll get the feel for it after playing against Huntress enough.
-
I don't know of a single person who enjoys having to hit great skill checks all the time.
-
@Theoretical_Heart Nope, but sides are about even. I see just as many sweaty killers as I do sweaty survivors.
-
Probably a key because you can cheese an escape with it. That said, I tend to use med kits and toolboxes more often. Keys are broken so I only use them if I find them in chests.
-
The devs shouldn't have put a cool down on her power. She already goes into fatigue for pete's sake.
-
This list isn't accurate. That said, your point still stands.
-
Both sides are just as guilty.
-
I actually used this build some time ago. It worked pretty well, but the killers would often tunnel pretty hard because they knew I was doing generators fast.
-
Nah, none of those cosmetics are particularly exciting.
-
Spirit is definitely the next killer on the chopping block.
-
I usually only slug at the end if I still haven't gotten my 4th BBQ stack yet. Otherwise, I give the last survivor a chance to escape.
-
Billy, Huntress, and Hag can put in work. Demo is always pretty decent when played optimally.
-
Solo survivor is going to suck hard no matter what build you use.
That said, here's a build to help make yourself as resilient as possible:
Dead Hard - best exhaustion perk imo
Spine Chill - counters stealth killers, and helps position yourself before chases start.
Decisive Strike - killers will tunnel all the time, and DS allows you to be extra reckless.
Borrowed Time - killers will camp all the time, so it's just nice to have.
---Spine Chill is not really required imo, it's just very helpful. If you trust your own awareness enough, you might consider using Adrenaline or Unbreakable.
-
Survivors can overcome most killer setups.
-
The devs don't understand Nurse. That much is obvious.
-
World peace.
-
What's wrong with pointing out that adding a cool down timer on Nurse is a bad idea?
-
Oh fret not, Spirit's big nerf is well underway. The survivor mains have spoken.
-
It sounded really good to me at first, but i barely got it to work during the PTB. Guess I was just unlucky. Maybe I'll try it some more.
-
@grtf47 The main difference back then was survivors could use 4 Decisive Strikes and BNPs to cheese the match. But I don't think survivors need those things in order to beat a Nurse.

Don't missunderstand me but Didn't you created like two or perhaps three threads talking about your opinion on PTB Nurse?
Nope, first one. I have been commenting on other posts quite a bit though.
-
@grtf47 So did you attempt to gather input from people on the opposite side of the issue? Or did you only listen to one side of the argument?
-
@ABannedCat Thank you. Finally someone who understands the impact of map design.

Yeah, i'm not happy about the last 10 patches of survivor nerfs, please revert them, also the exhaustion changes.
This post is supposed to be about Nurse. Why are people trying to change the subject?
-
The devs basically nerfed her aggressiveness. You can still be effective in chases, but now survivors are given an extra 2-3 seconds to find cover. In all honesty, this wouldn't be the worst thing ever if all the maps were open like Blood Lodge. But they're not, so Nurse is going to have some issues going against good survivors on certain maps.
I've been saying this so many times, but Nurse is meant to be an aggressive killer. Having to wait after fatigue in order to blink is not fun. There are ways to nerf the blink power without making Nurse less fun to play.
-
I played COD back when the game was fun.
-
Isn't it obvious?
-
I will gladly trade moris for the removal of SWF :)
-
The devs basically nerfed her aggressiveness, which is a bad move imo. All they needed to do was rework her problematic add ons.
-
People want the devs to remove her collision with survivors only. A lot of Spirit players can feel out where survivors are, thus, adding an extra layer of difficulty for survivors.
-
Yeah, people should be paying more attention to Julie since she's the hot one.
Some people, huh?
-
@Mochan said:
How about we just remove AddOns from Nurse altogether. Would that make you happy?
How about the devs rework the add-ons that are problematic?
-
This about sums up my emotions on the subject...
-
@Mochan said:
Not me, gonna suck to be honest. I hate fighting spirit and rather fight nurse.
Yeah, that's because a Nurse is easier to juke if you know what you're doing.
