When Thrill of the Hunt exists, this is a really bad idea.
But at the same time the progress just staying there would make it good for surv side.
-
He's like below Billy/Spirit. He's fun to play also
-
Those were mistakes. (atleast i hope they were >.>)
We just need to wait for the twitter leaks if its original chapter. (unless they stopped doing those after the Plag)

Don't scare me like that. For a second i thought the new PTB was out.

It's an interesting approach. But i think the numbers are a bit too high.

I think alot of people underestimate blindness. Because they think it is bad, no one really runs blindness perks and add ons, a pig slug with blindness trap and knock out will in many cases keep a survivor downed for several minutes, But i like the idea of reduced skillchecks, maybe even the 3rd person camera can be reduced by 30% while blinded.
Timed Blindness it really not good. And pernament can be usefull, sometimes

No?

Going to be honest, no idea what BNP stands for. So I cannot respond to that.. but the others things.
Even if the aura add-ons are not used often, it does not mean the amount of time alloted to a key is relatively high with the add-ons.
I agree, sabotaging bear traps is typically not a good move. However, in the rare instances where numerous people run sabotage builds, the trapper's power cannot be gone for nearly as long.
Even if this were the case, this can force the wraith out of cloak much farther away from a survivor. Again, the Wraith has no counterplay to this besides approaching from covered positions. However, this becomes a huge problem on more open maps like Blood lodge, Mount Ormond, Red Forest, etc. The time can be adjusted for the proper time in game, assuming the wiki is wrong.
That's a fair point. I think it can be changed to stay active if the survivor is in the dying state through the next hook. This would make sure this situation would not happen.
I thought about changing Deliverance to this. However, this creates a lot of problems with the in game interface, and the overall idea of the perk. It is a risk to run the perk, as the safe unhook may not happen. If it were changed to this, there is no longer a risk to running it, as typically by your second hook, you should have unhooked someone. There still needs to be a risk running the perk, but not an absolute punishment for it getting nullified. That said I thought the bloodpoint bonus would help mitigate that, but I would be open to in game effects.
Perhaps the Lithe change would not be that strong. Who knows.
I would not be opposed to these MOM changes. Ash needs some love in terms of his teachables.
The removal of the 128 meters is because by having that within the description, it implies that some maps are larger than 128 meters. Of course, people who have played the game for a long time know this is not true, however, newer players will not know this. Bye bye confusion.
Yes and Im excited :D
Brand New Part. (BNP)

That's fine if you do not agree with some of what is in the document. I just wanted some base for discussion of the changes proposed. I do not know if you can just remove add-ons, but your reasoning does not make sense. If there is a max, and no designated minimum, then add-ons would be abled to be removed.
I meant that - The devs set a goal of add-ons on every killer to be 20. You can see that on newest killers and balanced changed killers.
(I should've wrote that as minimum and as max that's my bad)

We already have this on Calm Spirit!....

Honestly... The effects shouldn't be temporary. They should be until they wake up. That way it makes it like Freddy is manipulating their dreams, just like he should.
That's actually a pretty good idea.

Wait if that's not an exploit then why was using Dead Hard to jump the gap on the top of the Mother's Dwelling main house an exploit?
Not trying to start an argument, I'm curious as to what the logic is.
Because Dead Hard wasn't supposed to give you that kind of mobility. (also some areas were exploitable where you couldn't hurt them/pick them up after they used their Air Hard)
-
Did that jusy happen to you?

Oh that could be interesting.

It should not work in dying state. Cause that would be a little too good.
Andit doesn't work against Plag because you're not grunting cause of pain. You're puking!

You've had a streak of bad luck and such a bad day.

Try to hide at the start. In lockers or behind corners.

Im guessing yes?

Other than make current animations kinda have that "OOMF" reverting animations would be a bad idea. They were long. Like super long.

Oh, I get where you're coming from, so I buffed Poised to compete against Dance With Me! I don't have a problem with buffing stealth perks because survivors don't have a lot of options of stealth currently! :)
I know! Just the 10 second no scratch marks looked really strong to me even if you wanted to buff the stealth options.
And that's an interesting way to change Poised. Although i would give it to Detective's Hunch (and i know the name wouldn't make sense anymore) and change the secondary effect somehow.

DS is the only good perk here.
Deliverance is situational at best and requires a safe hook rescue. You are not always guaranteed this.
Urban Evasion is the worst survivor perk in the book because it literally encourages people to not be good at the game by crouching around the entire time and not interacting with the killer.
Urban Evasion + Sprint Burst survivors are nine times out of 10 the ones who don't know how to do anything in a chase.
Survivors have the worst meta perks at the moment. Self Care used to be meta but now it's slow and dreadful.
Sprint Burst is lame. Dead Hard either barely works or is bugged half the time.
Head On and Lithe are fine but situational as all get out and Head On shouldn't even be an exhaustion perk.
Adrenaline is solid and along with DS one of the only truly good meta survivor perks right now.
Meanwhile each patch has add more and more amazing options for killers and outside of gutting Legion ever killer buff lately has been a pretty amazing one.
Anyone remember when Hag used to be trash? Remember that? Freddy? Remember when running Sloppy was considered a joke?
Even the smaller buffs like Wraith helped him be a touch more viable.
TL:DR surivor perks for the most part? Really just what a perk is a small boost. Not majorly game changing anymore. They've made sure of that patch after patch.
Killer perks? They're not perks. They can majorly change the flow of the game now. They're hella strong now. Too strong. They need to be looked at.
No, not really. Both sides have perks that can change the flow of the game.
For example, Everyone's getting slugged. Your Unbreakable or Flip-Flop can turn this situation 180 degrees. Flashlight and even Head On (even tho less situational) can also do that. It's just (i'll admit) way harder that Killer's side.
OH ALSO
"Can't find those pesky survivors? BBQ, Bitter Murmur, Whispers, Nurses, etc.
Generators going too fast: Ruin, Corrupt Intervention, Thrilling Tremors, Pop, etc."
1st you need to proc bbq (by finding the surv) and then it can be countered. Bitter Murmur gives you info you already knew (enchances it basically) and Nurse's... is Nurse's.
And idk how Thrilling Tremors stops gens from going too fast. It should be in the "Can't find those pesky survivors?" category ;)
-
I just dont agree with some of these.
(small note you cannot just remove an add-on you have to add something in for it, cause they did say they would do max 20 add-ons on all killers)
-
This is the rare occasion where matchmaking just doesn't know what's it doing.

The best buff that Trapper could get in the current state of the game, is the ability to reset his traps without having to pick them up first. This one single change would greatly improve him, as he'd be saving so much time (and reduce frustration).
"Pick up the trap.... pick it up aaaaaaaaa! Okay... now place it Trapper you did it before. I give up"

It amuses me that no one notices just how hand held killers really are right now.
There is literally a meta killer perk for any situation that annoys you.
Pallets? Enduring and Spirit Fury.
Window Loops? Bamboozle.
Can't find those pesky survivors? BBQ, Bitter Murmur, Whispers, Nurses, etc.
Generators going too fast: Ruin, Corrupt Intervention, Thrilling Tremors, Pop, etc.
Meanwhile, every survivor meta perk is trash to the point you have people excited for a stupid perk where you hide in a locker and get a chance at a stun.
The game is the worst balance wise it has ever been.
Getting tunnelled? DS.
People not saving you solo? Delivarence.
The crouching is too slow for you? Urban Evasion.

Amen brother.
I made a suggestion recently to buff bloodlust by making it tier more quickly, and for chases to end more slowly, which I hope would allow the killer to extract some value from wasted time in chases due to mechanics you mention here. But, my suggestion is a part of buffing a perk, and after reading your post, I'm reminded of things that make me realize the issue is more than to do with a perk alone. Maybe a buff to the base activation times of bloodlust and a delay to ending chases in general would empower more of those 'm1' killers.
You also gave me an idea from your suggestions... what about having a probability to control the time it takes for pallets/generators to be broken, rather than a flat value? Like, a 90% chance of it taking the base time, but a 10% chance of it taking 3/4 of the time, and a 5% chance it takes half the time?
Ultimately, I don't know why this game's balance is off. It's like this in almost all of the games I play these days, balance is just up in the air, like some sort of industry trend.

We don't need even more RNG...
-
That's the fault of your team, not the game
-
The survivor side shrine wants us to play a certain build...

Nothing that's done on PTB gets transfered to main game. You can even buy some cosmetics/level up a character there and don't care.

twice actually, in all the years dbd has been around.
then again thats still more times then :
Corrupt Intervention, Dark Devotion, Distortion, Flip-Flop, Hex: Haunted Ground, Mettle of Man, Solidarity, Buckle Up, Head On, I'm All Ears, Aftercare, Discordance, Furtive Chase, Infectious Fright and Thrilling Tremors all of which have appeared zero times...
Also more then these which have all appeared once :
Autodidact, Hangman's Trick, Iron Maiden, Poised, Diversion, Left Behind, Mad Grit, Breakdown, Dance With Me and Vigil.
Calm spirit has appeared 17 times, and enduring 11 both being the most out of any.
so there's the facts.
Calm Spirit is love, CaLm SpIrIt is life

We should nerf the whole video game!

He doesn't need a full rework. Just a little tweaks and buffs here and there.

Back in the day we had to play games from the start when we ran out of continues.
We had to improve to beat the game.
Instead of taking the time to improve themselves or their gameplay, these days they resort to forum whining.
WHEN I WAS YOUNG.... (although im 17 ;-;)
-
You're quiet while perfoming quick stuff.... how does the name not make sense?
-
No scratch marks for 10 seconds every (basically) 20 seconds... am i the only one that think that's a tad too good? (when poised also leaves no scratch marks for the same duration with more strict requirement)

I feel like she has to? She has a great map control (after she puts down the traps)

Oh no! You need to stop working on a gen! (or fail a skillcheck, or get woken up by a friend) What a disaster >.>
Adrenaline wakes you up btw

I don't think this is the way. (also T3 Myers would be insane)
I would just wait till the map rebalances.

You know, I didn't know locker hiding stopped BBQ and Chili. I am a fool. I do run one direction and count to 5, but a lot of the time they get there quickly enough. (Been seeing a lot of nurses and ghost face lately)
Lockers stop any aura reading.

(Pssst, not sure you've noticed, mate, but this is a joke thread. He's trying to use the worst 4 perks possible)
Are you sure? Im pretty sure he's asking for abuild to do the achievement called "Left for Dead"

Swap stake out for "no one left behind," since you'll obviously be getting every gen done each round with a build like THIS.
Why no one left behind?

For the achievement?
... Message the killer to not close the hatch :d
But yeah this should work. But maybe i would change Resilience/Stake Out to Urban Evasion and/or Poised.

Maybe it's a timed exclusive?

Or alternatively, make the hood a bunny hat instead.
Or make the hoodie not be on the head and make a diffrent hairstyle.

My luck with Plunderer's is so bad i just leave it to my friends.
