Locker grabs, yes! Other grabs, no. Atleast with other grabs you can hit them instead as an alternative.
To be fair you still "technically" can hit them while they're going into the locker. Just the window is... really small.

A burst of shards would also be neat.
Or a cool charm for reaching x devotion.
Or a charm for every devotion that just gets increase in the number. (and replaces the last one)

yeah kinda hard to factor of it will work with tinkerer but do you think they could've handled it better
Without reworking it? Nope.

We weren't talking about Unbreakable here, which, unlike DS, isn't an Obsession perk.
I agree that DS has an extremely high reward when it works, but the fact that it works so rare makes the reward go way down to the point where it's barely noticeable.
Yeah i know. I'm just showing an example of a perk that does similiar thing and is also "rare" to work.
Also what of it that it's obsession perk?

I'm sorry, but I really disagree with "DS is too powerful". I play both roles.
As survivor, I find myself rarely using DS because it's window is quite short to the point where, unless the killer is a heavy tunneler, I don't get to use it at all. Well, I do sometimes use it in EGC because, at that point, any killer would "tunnel". However, 8/10 matches I don't get to use it so I simply stopped running it.
As killer, I often see people run DS but I almost never get stunned by it and not because they miss it, but because I always go for the unhooker. Even in endgame. Sometimes, I look at the perks and think back on the match and how DS was useless for the survivor(s), but Adrenaline would have helped them or Borrowed or, simply, another perk.
Sure, different people, different playstyles. My point is that, as an obsession perk, it's not a great perk. Obsessions perks, in my opinion, are high risk / high reward. To me, DS is a different kind of high risk to what most would think, I guess: it's a Russian roulette of "will I get to use it in this match OR will I have wasted a perk slot?". More often that not I feel like I wasted a perk slot.
Well, most survivor perks are supposed to be like that. See Unbreakable for example. It's also a perk that can shut down even slightly killers pressure.
But those perks are just an insurance IF that thing happenned.

Okay im curious, where is that god loop?
-
Question: How competent are AI survivors on mobile?
-
Wait that doesn't happen... Huh. Do Pallet/Head On saves count then?
-
Probably not a rework but buffs imo.

Not quite. They can make 100's of dollars off of DLC Packs or the non Shard cosmetics. So this is definitely a logical and needed change to help with the grind.
They do. Especially if you want the sharts to be in Tomes, not even (paid) rifts.
Ofc not every cosmetic can be bought via shards so not much loss but still.

I'm sure no-one's surprised by this, but it's because they openly hate legion. Because, mostly, of how not fun legion was when they first released. Not fun for anyone involved, especially survivors.
If a dev could confirm or deny this, that'd be awesome. But judging from the dev's actions (Actively refusing to buff legion) and word of mouth, I don't even know if we need a dev response.
I don't think the devs hate them. More like community ... hates them. (obviously not the ones playing Legion)
-
If during the day i get my surv ques instantly, killer takes a while.
If during the "night" it's reversed - killer instantly almost, and surv takes a while.
-
I'll just say from what i saw personally on Sanctum of Wrath map.
The map is overall smaller.
The shack and the Sanctum are waaay closer.
The gens are slightly closer to each other.
And sadly that's it cause i never truly got chased.
-
I mostly like Inner cause i can "bank" a heal in case. But that heal is limited by other players cleansing totems.

Yes, I am aware. They should revert the perk. I use Stridor III frequently on Huntress, and it completely negates any Iron Will user's grand plan. So, it makes complete sense that the 75% reduction is just as worthless as the 50%, which is often worthless.
The devs changed it for "consistency" (along with Balanced Landing and Devour Hope*) and ignored the gameplay reasons the tiers were structured the way they were.
*This change broke my heart. I hated how the devs decided to get involved in places no one wanted, rendering specific tiers of perks people enjoyed using just for the surprise factor completely useless in achieving that goal. I will forever support #tieroneDH and #revertDevourHope in the hopes that the developers will see the mistake they made with the perk and fix it.
Yeah because back then tiers did actually matter. Now they aren't that noticable, which is a good thing.

I mean, Freddy doesn't have any cosmetics...
-
+It having a little bit of aura readaing (like 1 second IF the killer isn't undetectable) would make it on par with spine chill... atleast a lil bit.

Maybe it got bugged? Maybe they weren't close enough while you were? I'm not sure.

So, if we can't balance 4SWF to the level of solo, do either of you have ideas for how to balance Solo + Killers with 4SWF?
And just want to say thanks to you both for having constructive criticism and we can have a good conversation on this :D
The easiest way would be giving survivors Bond/Kindred/Empathy that cannot be blinded. But ofc other perks that do similiar thing would have to get redesigned... That's why this idea is sketchy and would take a really long time to implement. Which imo isn't worth the effort.
And then buffing killers numbers wise or/and maps wise. But again, i would just leave SWF as it is. Or give some bloodpoint bonuses for killers that are versing SWF.
-
Preeeeetty sure it already works like that?
I think it's 16/24 metetrs OR if you're in a chase with a survivor.
-
I mean, you chose 1 perk that's probably the best out of the three and doesn't really need buffing.
not help the genrush
Also that is kinda untrue at this point cause BNP does give the most gen speed potential.
-
- Get really close to them before swinging. "Autoaim" should hit them that way.
- Expect which way they will try to spin in.

The Skill Checks are Survival since a few weeks, when healing yourself. They changed it (and it makes way more sense now).
Oh, good to know! Thanks!
-
Then just make it so if you have your delivarence ready and usable at the end game you get some bonus bp for "being ready for the worst" or something.
Making it usable would just do more harm than good.
-
That's a lot of bp for just holding a button.
Heck even self caring gives you less AND has skillchecks (that give... altruism for some reason i still don't get it)

Yeah, but how should the Styptic be better at countering Insta-Downs when you cannot use it while healthy?
Oh sorry. Let me elaborate. (This is all happenning while injured mind you)
Before the overall nerf, instaheals just healed your status (most of the time) back to healthy. If at any point you wanted to use an insta heal but were affected by an instadown it would be a waste.
Current Styptic negates that issue because it still gives you a free hit but can be used while exposed for whatever reason (power, perks) to counter it.

What does this matter when you can only use the Medkit when you are injured?
Isn't that the point tho?
-
You still technically have an insta heal. Imo even better insta heal cause it counters insta downs - The Styptic Agent.

Pros: not dropping FPS like crazy, if you play killer you can use huntress and nurse more easily, end game chat instead of mails every match, controller but with Steady FPS, moonwalking if you are playing with M&K, you can mod the icons and make perks look better, you can play for fun instead of going full meta tryhard perks, people on pc play more for fun compared to console that play to win hardcore, less BM, you can play the PTB, great queue times for survivor.
Cons: you will have to start all over again, you will have to get used to steady FPS and some things will change because of that, you will lose cosmetics and characters, killers like huntress and doctor aren't free like on console same as feng min and david, there are a few more bugs on PC than on console, you will start with baby survivors on both sides, bad queue times for killer.
That is what it comes to my mind right away, there are a lot more but I can't really think of more
David and Huntress are indeed free on PC.
It's Hag+Ace and Feng+Doc that aren't free.

If the add-on doesn't specify that it doesn't stack, then they stack.

mori's alrdy got nerf'd, leave them alone and nerf keys.
Oh you mean that nerf that you cannot use them immeditely? Oh yeah cause that wasn't broken just as pallet vacuums.
However i disagree with OP either. Cause they would be pretty weak for their rarity. How about just making it so you have to hook everyone once to activate them? (with dc'ing counting as a hook if they didn't get hooked yet)

Also, on a side note. BHVR, if you're reading this, why isn't Freddy on the switch? It's not like you can't put him on console, he's on PS4 and Xbox so why not switch?
Some legal issues.
Bill wasn't availible on consoles for quite some time too.

You're not wrong, people talk about random stuff, but that's not the issue. The issue is that the information they actively share can be considered game breaking. The game wasn't designed for survivors to have that level of communication.
BHVR needs to take the health of the overall game into consideration. Not just the convenience of SWF groups. I'm not saying SWF is bad in any way, but it's opened the door to serious issues with how it and the game interact. I love playing with my friends, but I'd fully support a change that's in the best interest of the game. This is supposed to be a game of survival with minimal communication, relying on your team mates to work together.
So I ask you, if this change doesn't seem fair or balanced to you. How would you balance SWF? Because balancing Solo to the level of SWF would send this game into a downward spiral.

Either not touching them at all or ... bringing solos to SWF levels, then buffing killers accordingly.
We do have PTB which they could use to try this super changed version of DBD and see how that plays out. Kinda like Overwatch did their experimental gamemode in their game. They try super weird changes and see if they work out or not.

One thing i would add to Red Herring is that "Any survivor within 16(24maybe?) meters can see the marked generator"

Wasn't this always a feature?

They'll do those changes For the People that still play this game. Maybe even some will return!
(although i wouldn't mind them actually changing Wake Up :p)
-
Because it doesn't increase just the volume of sounds for killer, it increases the breathing/grunts of pain sounds in general.
-
Noice idea for making "keys" aura reading only. Maybe another Very Rare could be that it reveals the hatch at a high cost of the energy? A little nod for being a replacement for keys. (and yes i know that a map can already do this however this just seems to perfect to not include)
Hovewer - i will post this anytime someone makes a key change suggestion. What with "Where did they go?" Achievement?

If you think of the garbage add-ons Legion and Freddy have, it would be a nice change. But Freddy's pallet add-ons are OK. What is wrong with them? I can understand the Blocks (which are useless) but the pallets?
I'm guessing they think they are too strong?

Yeah, it's not your connection. Most likely it's the killer cause they did show how dedicated "see" hits.
