Well, there are bots in the tutorial levels if that counts. They're kind of stupid, but they're there.
-
I'd say I'm glad it's not on Xbox, but even here they're just DC'ing like crazy since rank reset. Had 2 survivors in a match DC on their death hook. I mean, why? It was strange to say the least
-
I have to agree. Haddonfield is my fear map. As survivor, it's like you say, easy escapes and loops, but as killer, you REALLY have to endure the pain to even catch them out. I hope it's reworked soon, alongside other maps that have these sorts of issues. I doubt they'll remove it from MM in the mean time though.
-
Rank reset screwed badly. Some people who were Red ranks are now low ranked. So, bullying ensues.
-
Either overconfident, or idiots. I choose the latter. I always get them without BT unhooking while the killer just watches 3 feet away tapping his foot waiting to redown me. Fun times!
-
Meh, I run NOED and DH. DH goes down after they realise it's there, then boom, NOED once Gens are done. The salt is sweet!

Oh yeah. That map's bad for that too, I agree.
I made a topic about it on the suggestions board but no one seemed to care because it wasn't a suggestion about nerfing noed or decisive strike :/
It's honestly a great underrated perk.
I run both that and Hangman's Trick on Huntress.. Hangman's doesn't see as much use, but when it does, boy is it useful. Spies though.. really helps me find people I wouldn't have suspected were there in the first place, crouching behind rocks or walking slowly nearby (but still disturbing crows.. 36 meters is far enough that i wouldn't hear them running.. but I definitely hear the crows)
I personally love spies. I use it with my GF while stalking so I can easily catch them off guard, or when they're trying to hide mid-chase only to have a crow give them away. Haven't got Pig so never used Hangmans, but it does sound like a pretty handy perk to have.

I like the way Spies from the Shadows work right now.. An aura reading on top of that would be a bit too powerful.
One problem I have with Spies though is that some maps, such as the Autohaven maps, barely have any crows on them.. and others, such as Léry's, are infected and have 10 crows per room. So running this perk is a big hit or miss, either you get 5 notifications every second, or none all game long (and since there's no crows you don't disturb any moving around either, it's not just the survivors being super stealthy)
Thats my one peeve with this perk. The Game also is a huge no crow zone too. I actually don't think I've ever set a crow off in that place.
-
I'd hope it was to Xbox too. My friend plays PS4 so it would be nice to be able to play alongside him.
-
Some matches I can have fun, but I just keep getting red ranked tryhards who will just mow down Gens and not even bother to do anything else. I get gens are the objective, but when they're ending a match so quickly, it's not fun at all. It's like they'd prefer the killer just didn't exist to interupt their Gen simulator game at this point. As Survivor, it also annoys me when the match is over so fast, because it's more fun when you have a killer interacting with you more than they currently can.

Oooooh what if he called survivor phones which revealed their location? Another interesting idea lmao. Obviously something would need to be in place to stop him from constantly knowing where they are.
This would work really well with his character. It could be linked to his Night Shroud power. Every 60 seconds he could activate it, causing a random survivor to be revelaed for X seconds within a certain distance of him while he's shrouded.
-
When did Clown being nerfed get announced? I thought everyone wants him buffed since he's god awful to play as.
-
The only times I see facecampers is when the killer is usually pretty bad in a match. And that's no offence to anyone who struggles against skilled players, but most facecampers I've encountered at the ones easily outmanovered in loops, or ones who struggle to get a single down so they resort to forcing at least 1 survivor down and camping them for the kill. Usually works, but then you also get the altruistic idiots who unhook and down themselves, causing a chain reaction for the rest to follow. If I see a killer camp with Kindred active, I'm sticking on Gens.
-
It'd be an awesome addition, and since it's being put in every other game lately (Mortal Kombat 11, Gears 5) I can't see why it can't join us here!
-
I've been seeing videos on YT popping up and people now just suicide the 1st hook to 'DC' now, so these penalties did nothing really, beyond a slight slap on the wrist for people who do actually DC
-
Survivor - Iron Will for hiding during chases
Killer - Devour Hope. Because a DH Mori is the best sort of death!
-
If you downed a different survivor first, then you can't really be told you tunneled for finding the previous hooked survivor again. Too many use the excuse that you tunneled because they were found, but in reality, it's their own fault for not leaving the area or hiding away to heal first.

The ONLY time I get annoyed with not being saved from the hook is when I’m running Kindred, and everybody can CLEARLY see that the killer is NOT camping, and the survivor NEAREST to me can see they are nearest to me but still decides to hide by a bush or cleanse a dull totem (or some other idiotic nonsensical thing)
Relatable. Everytime Kindred activates if someone else is hooked, or I am, I scan the area. Guaranteed 1 person crouching 5 feet away from the hook despite the killer being somewhere else entirely, or someone Self-Caring in a little hideaway spot.

I think he has the most realistic stunned sound out of all the killers. Also, the wraith has a pretty funny sound effect too.
Everytime GF sighs, I imagine he just thinks 'Really? This again?'

Could be the delay between you and the killers connection
I suffer with the same issue, and it's on any connection. Green, Yellow, Red, doesn't matter. You literally have to wait about a second before the prompt shows up. I've had so many downs because a pallet drops too late, or a window vault doesn't register instantly. Could just be an Xbox thing but it really is the most agitating thing.

I one time pulled off a flashlight save on a poor ghostface that was looped around the map for 3 generators - I like to think that the person playing him sounded like his stunned noise right before he DCed.
Everytime I play GF and someone flashes for a save or drops a pallet on a loop I make the same sigh.
-
But, a survivor whos trapped isn't doing anything to be interupted for, unless you've interupted them crying out in pain attempting to escape. Trying to escape a trap wouldn't class as interupting someone in my opinion. Gen, hook or vault grabs are interuptions for me.
-
Ghostface's stunned sigh sums up DS for me perfectly.
-
Agreed. I always try to assess the situation before playing hero. If NOED is active, I'm outta there. I always run Kindred, so I always see if a Killer keeps raoming the hook, and if they are, that's a big old nope from me. I had a match earlier where 2 survivors were playing hook trade, only to be both downed at the same time by Bubba, who proceeded to camp at the killer shack alongside the basement. I got called an awful player for not rescuing, despite the fact I could clearly see LF standing in the shack waiting with Kindred. It annoys me so much when other survivors demand you down yourself so they can escape despite the clear situation.

To me, it seems like the first and third coin is like someone observing time frozen. Since the hourglass is lying flat, time has stood still and can't move, kind of like the Realm of the Entity. And who observes in this realm? The Observer from the Tomes. Could be he's somehow connected to the Entity, maybe even works with it? The second, the one with the symbol, kind of looks like a monolith. Maybe a shrine where people worshipped it, linking the Entity to some sort of deity or god-like figure that had a following. The final coin, the 3-eyed crow, seems again linked to the Entity. We know the Crows in the trials are essentailly alarms for Killers as they alert the killer to any survivor, but it also does the same for survivors. It could be the crow represents 'Being watched'. Like, no matter what you do, the Entity will always know. That's my take on these coins. Heck, could be wrong and the coins mean nothing, but it's still fun to speculate into this kinda stuff.
-
It would be pretty cool to see. Kind of a Bane, but horror version. Though he could also be a survivor too since he was brought to the Entity's realm after he became obssessed with it, and tried to flee using the blight serum. Maybe the Entity uses his 'hope' of escape to keep him within the trials alongside others. Either way it would be pretty cool to see more of him. His lore has always interested me.
-
Well there will for sure either be a Jane or Spirit perk for the next set of challenges. I'm praying for DS to return since I missed it way back when it was available. If not DS, then maybe Inner Strength for those free heals
-
Could it just not be the survivors were better than the killer? Just because it's a nurse doesn't mean it's an automatic win, despite how good you are. There are always matches out there that you can't win.
-
It's the unfortunate reality of the mentality of players these days, in any game, not just DbD. Something doesn't go their way? DC. Killer they don't like? DC. Map they don't like? DC. Just the way it is now.
-
Have you heard Feng after she runs normally? Woman sounds like she needs to be attatched to an iron lung after 3 seconds!

I want P2P MM forever. But then again, GF doesn't work on dedicated servers so maybe it'll be a good thing.
Seriously?! Suppose when they hit Xbox I'll just pretend to be a survivor and butt dance at the gate with them.
-
For Survivor it's now Iron Will. It's hidden me so well in the middle of a chase.
For killer it's BBQ, just for those juicy bonus BP

Crazy thing about this clip, I managed to actually down that Feng with Auto-aim, I was getting angry the entire time
I know the feeling. I've had the same situation on Demo when the FPS is clipping badly, and the auto-aim keeps lagging on itself as it goes to hit someone. Freaking annoying!
-
Damn. And I thought Demo on Xbox was bad. Hats off to poor PS4 players who suffer with that FPS lagginess!
-
That's weird, since most killer lobbies are like 5 second waits, where survivors are the 5-10 minute waits. I suppose it depends on the region you live in too

But when a killer doesn't tunnel or camp, survivors still try to bully killer with all toxic plays
Oh I know. I have it happen on a regular basis against SWF teams who think they're hilarious for it.
-
Honestly it's tiring seeing the same perks every match on survivors. It's not fun leaving people slugged for fear of DS constantly, or seeing a downed survivor zoom off with Adrenaline. But at the same time I can't blame them either, since a vast majority of killers I go against resort to tunnelling and camping.
-
Spirit or Doctor, most likely due to the Tome challenges.
I never see much of Oni anymore which is a shame since he is legit the one killer that scares me slightly when he Demon Dashes at me
-
My killer would likely win. As survivor, I get too twitchy at loops and make panic vaults, so my killer could easily take advantage of it.
-
I like the idea, but a lot of killers know to avoid pallets when carrying so I don't think smart killers would let survivors get a chance at using this mechanic.
-
For me when I play survivor, I don't want to be the sheep of the game. I prefer to use my own builds, or play around with stuff. I don't want to give myself an easy win. If I mess up and die, then I can blame nobody but myself for it, and don't really deserve a second chance because of it.

When I play killer at red rank (Freddy with Pop, Dying Light, BBQ and Corrupt Intervention. Doctor with Whispers, Dying Light, Overcharge and Pop. Oni with BBQ, Pop, Dying Light and Nurse's) I try and play as fairly as possible. I get quite a lot of messages saying thanks to my no toxicity games.
Other killers can do this too, but they decide to be douchebags on purpose for no reason
Oh totally. Anytime I play killer I always keep it fair. I lost a vast majority of matches being a fair killer, but, at least they can walk away knowing that there are still some of us who just want to have a bit of fun.

Exactly. I'm literally getting camped for looping. I'm being camped FOR DOING MY JOB.
Their excuse is "You were looping so I camped" but then for you it's "You were doing your objective so I camped". We just can't win can we?
It just baffles me. I guarantee, these same people who camp survivors would be the first to cry if it happened to them. And all these killers camping and tunneling is only going to push more players away from the game, as if there isn't enough already leaving. DbD really has gone downhill fast in recent months and I really hope it gets back on it's feet because I do enjoy the game when killers aren't ruining matches for me.

Well sorry but that's a bit selfish. Survivors never asked for Ruin to be nerfed, it's just some asses decided to take advantage of it. Some survivors still want to play the game normally and then they run into killers like you.
The amount of people that just want to play the game are leaving due to these queue times just to face this
Hits the nail on the head. Tonight I've had to wait for 5-10 minute gaps in lobbys only to enter a match to be tunneled directly from the hook, or to have a killer dodge a lobby because 'X reason'. I'm tired of so many players acting like EVERY survivor is toxic and are so amazingly skilled. I'm Red rank, and god knows I shouldn't be. I'm awful at loops, and I focus on gens for that single reason. So, why should every survivor be placed in the same basket just because killers are losing. Some of us just want to enjoy the game. If I wanted someone to stand staring at me for 2 minutes, I'd go stand at a mirror.
-
But, if I wake up, I'll have to face the harsh reality of real life. And doing that adult thing sucks! I'll stay in this dreamworld of DbD a few more years 😄
-
Because bots aren't a priority right now. I'd rather have a working MM system with a stable performance level of the game before I see an AI wander around in circles.

In the Saw series Amanda was apart of the games and she survived..
Would anyone else love to see Amanda Young as a survivor as well?
Yes, she survived, but she then went on to backstab the victims in Saw II since she was working undercover for Jigsaw, so having her as a survivor would essentially be allowing a secret killer onto the team. Which, wouldn't be a terrible idea. It would certainly spice up the game a little!
-
As long as there is no real penalty, expect it a lot. I've had survivors DC just because they were caught first pretty much in the first 30 seconds. Others because of a certain killer they know they can't outplay well. I even had an entire team DC because the idiots trapped themselves in the basement being altruistic while I was still standing 3 feet away. As long as survivors can easily pip, they'll DC over and over because re-earning their lost pips takes zero effort anymore.
-
I have to admit, Adrenaline is borderline worse than DS. DS and Adrenaline basically confirms a survivor will get out safely since they have 2 safety nets for themselves. If they altered it so that they didn't just insta-up from the floor with full health or directly after being unhooked it would be fine. Maybe instead of fully healing, grant a temp health state for X seconds.
