  • As others have said, David hands down. His No Mither is a walking target for you every match. His other 2 perks are fairly decent, but No Mither just drags him down quite literally. Getting his Adept was a living hell!

  • They don't seem to listen to the thousands of players who already bring up the same issues they all do anyway, so I doubt 4 streamers will make a difference, despite the fact they all hit the nail on the head for the issues with maps, the new killer and current issues in game. The day the Devs really do start listening to everyone is the day it's far too late, if it isn't already too late.

  • Well, I wasn't around for the pre-EGC so I never asked for it. And I do deal with thanks.

  • The game would be much more fun if it was balanced much more. The game is far too survivor sided. Maps always go against the killer, Gens speed is too fast, considering a killer can only keep 1 Survivor off a gen, 3 others are popping 3 of them. Survivors have so many second chances for every mistake they make, but a killer can't make a single one or the game is done for them. Then, there is SWF, possibly the most unbalanced aspect of the game. As long as this exists, Killers are screwed. Not to say it needs to be removed, but the Devs need to stop pretending there isn't an issue with it. Solo players are easy targets for a reason: They can't know the killer is coming for them. SWF essentially have a map-wide radar and the killer will never get the surprise on them for this reason. Overall the game has gone so far to the Survivors, it's no wonder so many killers have left. If they actually focused more on helping killers with buffs, and actual balancing of maps, then maybe the game would be more fun.

  • I feel like the boxes should really be more risk to survivors. Place them in Deep Wounds wether they remove the trap or not. Since Jigsaw's 'games' were all about the victims essentially harming themselves to escape, this would fit since the survivor is, from what I assume, slicing their arms apart to gain a key.

I dont think BHVR likes exclusives anymore so they will most likely come back later, probably just added to the sstore

You are right. I'm pretty sure they said when the Rift was released that missed Premium rewards would arrive to the store in the future.

  • I usually pick them up. If they struggle, I'll drop them then shake my head at them. If they struggle again, hook time. Most times they stop and I hunt down the hatch with them. Always ends on a happy note. I feel like my one act of kindness helps spread some decent vibes across the game for their next match

  • I kinda wish Moris would be used more. They're so much more entertaining than the usual hook and dead. I'd be happy with a change like this overall.

  • It all depends on who I get for teammates. If they are god awful and just go down easily, then I know the match is over. If the survivors are good and actually can handle themselves in a chase, then it will be interesting. At the same time, if the killer begins camping/tunnelling everyone, then again, boring.

  • I assess the situation before I rush for a save during End-Game. If the killer is clearly camping, or has NOED, I'm gone. If theres a chance I can save someone, I'll try, but I play for me. If I leave without saving someone, then so be it.

  • I wouldn't be so bothered about them sitting in the exit gate, but it's more frustrating when all 4 sit in the same one waiting for me to never arrive. The full 3 minutes is spent with them hoping they can rub in the victory. I just wish people would leave and let me move on to the next match. Instead, I have to go treking across the map just to persuade them to leave.

  • Problem is, this would be a PS4 exclusive DLC if it ever did come to DbD since Playstation holds all rights to the game, so I doubt it would be created for the game unless the game was to be able to be released to other platforms.

    You’re thinking of Open Handed.

Ace in the Hole guarantees spicy addons on items you find in chests. Usually paired with Plunder’s for max value.

Yes, I edited my post haha. Had a slight derp moment.

  • Edit because I got the wrong perk 😶

It's a fantastic perk sure, but I rarely go searching in chests, since most times they're already looted. But I do like to use it if I ever play Ace.

  • The whole ranking system is a joke anyway. Survivors can play through a match barely doing anything and pip. A killer can work hard as hell and still never pip. How is this a fair system for either side?

  • The true question is: Do these potatoes KNOW they're potatoes? Because I swear everyone I meet like this thinks they're the best ever

It's no worse than being slugged for 4 minutes. It doesnt REQUIRE a DC.

And as with every other bug I encounter, yes. It would highly entertain me. And I would record it and submit it as a bug.

But I wouldnt try to vehemently defend DCs on the forums when something already resolved itself.

    But that's just me. 🤷‍♀️

If you cant wait a few minutes to see what happens, then DC, take your ban, and live with it.

Slugs are different though, You can do something about that. You recover until another player can help you. What can another player do to help this situation? Nothing because as far as they see, the survivor just got unhooked and remained standing there doing nothing. But, if you find being stuck in a bug fun, then more power to you. I'm just trying to see it from the side that it isn't fun being unable to do anything

Yet, it did fix itself as soon as they were unhooked and picked up.

Why are you so dead set on justifying a DC right now?

After 3 minutes yes. Personally, I'd have DC'd and explained to the killer/survivors what happened. Would you enjoy being stuck like this for 3 minutes knowing theres nothing you can do, and others think you just decided to go AFK?

  • Despite the fact they were awful at times, I actually kinda miss them now. Tired of being lobby dodged to spend more time waiting again. At least the positive of the DS was that you stayed in the waiting lobby if a killer dodged.

  • I agree it is balanced. I don't use it myself since I know most high ranks will destroy every totem they find, plus placements are god awful. The way I see it, is that if it activates, then either find it, or leave the match. I can't tell you how many survivors I have watched be mowed down because they wanted to try be that BT DS hero in End-Game.

Great point. So they need to revert the ruin changes then.

Which will never happen. They changed it for the potatoes so they could easily hit skillchecks. I personally could never hit Greats everytime but that's why it was a Hex. People just complained so much so they had to nerf it to the ground. Of course, killers have been doing the same for survivor perks, but we all know they won't get Ruin treatment anytime soon

I play a lot of solo survivor on PS4 and I can barely stay in red ranks because of teammates. I run bond a lot so I don't interrupt gens if I am being chased or I know when some one is being chased. All too often I see people urban immersioning around the map or self-caring in corners.

I don't know how many times I have hit 2nd stage on 1st hook either. I am not the best at this game and I have had plenty of potato moments trying to do a Q&Q locker dodge for a head on stun but I do try the big dick moves more often than not instead of hiding in the maps edges or letting people die.

Same here. I always run Kindred too so teammates have no excuse not to be able to see if someone else is being chased or the killer is close. Fair enough if it's a stealth, then I understand them being a little wary, but when you look around and see people hiding in corners or self-caring away, it's so frustrating.

I had a nice "I am so stupid moment".

I have been struggling with the 2 hatch unlocks. Got the first one pretty quick, then I was standing over the hatch in another game and hit the unlock button and nothing happened... Franklin's demise got me again!!!!

Am I the only one who doesn't notice when you get hit and lose something?

I cannot tell you how many times I've had that happen too. I'll be smacked, the killer vanishes and I get 'Escaped'. I go to use my Med-kit and realise I dropped it 30 feet away. It's always a sad moment when I realise that haha 😂

  • Have to agree. I can always tell when it's a low rank/boosted Red rank. I always run Kindred so I know wether to go for a save or if someone else is or while I'm on hook. 9 times out of 10, there's a Claudette hiding in a corner of the map Self-Caring, someones stepping out of a locker, despite the killer being nowhere near them, and another just running around like a headless chicken with no killer chasing them. Or, my personal favourite. Two survivors running together as the killer chases them both while someone remains on hook and I'm too far away to get them before they hit struggle. Since MM broke down, the game has become insanely stupid with potatoes everywhere.

  • Why are you complaining about BBQ? Most people most likely run it for the BP bonus more than the actual tracking of Survivors.

  • @Adeloo said:

I actually like this idea of getting Shards from it, maybe 25 shards from page 1 to 4, then 50 from page 5 to 7, then 75 from page 8 to 9.

I like the idea. It's not like non-pass owners would gain an advantage or anything. We earn Shards from leveling anyway. Even throw BP into the free track too since we know earning BP is a grind to begin with.

  • Well considering the OP's race, do you not see the comment at the bottom of the Post-Game chat? That's just out of order. It was clearly said to be offensive, and that's not right at all!

  • If it was just a passive Perk slot, for something that doesn't offer advantages such as BT, DS, etc, then I'd be all for it. I usually run perks like Lightweight or Iron Will, and a Passive slot would be a great idea for those types.

  • But, they could technically leave before you get a chance to activate blood warden. Nurse is much better for this. Insidious Nurse with NOED can teleport into the Gate itself and wait there until they come open it. Though, you'd have to pray they do open the one you're standing at. You won't get much in terms of points, but the pure shock that Nurse is just standing there as the gate opens is hilarious.

  • Killer 100%. Some killers are fine sure, but the huge issue is mainly maps. Low mobility killers struggle with a fair few. And many maps have stupidly good loops to be abused easily.

  • I mean, Dying Light and Thantaphobia exist for slowing Gens. Side it alongside Sloppy and you got survivors healing to keep their precious speed. You'll catch more survivors out as they're attempting to heal to stack up on Dying Light.

I never understood how this is a fun way to play the game. i mean, what is even the point of playing if you are just going to camp and do nothing else? maybe less stress but doesn't it just get boring. Just curious.

and if you don't care how you get gen rushed and clearly don't care how many kills you get, then how is playing normally stressful.

Same here. Just play normally imo and stop always going into a match with the mindset you must have a 4k. Just enjoy the game for what it is. I'm always on the losing end, but I always mess around with survivors at the end. Turns a bad match into a fun time.

If I play Blendette then I always use calm spirit. (Though I sorta do anyway no matter who I play now.)

They always screw me over when I play Doc and they run that and Iron Will, espeically on darker maps. It's a great tactic to use as Survivor, but man, it's so hard to pinpoint the location

  • You are right that not all SWF are toxic, but it's the small minority of bully squads that really stand out and give SWF a bad name. I've encountered a few of them where they'll Head On from lockers, Sabo hooks, ensure DS is ready, etc. The moment I see them doing this, I just shut down from even attempting to win. I just smack gens, destroy pallets, etc for points.

Can’t the killer just take the person out of the closet and then drop them to perform the kill? and they can’t stay in one closet forever because crows. Makes them easy to find.

Pretty much what I thought, but chances are they'd bolt for the locker all over again unless the killer gets the chance to grab them in time.

Survivors send other survivors hate mail as well, killers rarely do it.

Oh I know. I've had my fair share of survivor hate. Usually to tell me I'm the worst teammate ever, but usually much more colorful.

  • As Survivor: Dedicated Servers. When they hit Xbox, my god, I felt like I needed to plan so far ahead. I personally loved the windows that pulled me back through after vaulting through them.

As killer: Being frozen in place on grabs/hooks. So much fun!

  • I've noticed it's always killers who receive the hate after a match. Not to say I haven't had killers also send abuse, but there are far too many entitled survivors who resort to this kind of thing because they lost. It really is a sad time when they can't just GG, look back on what they could learn from their mistakes and head to the next match.

  • I haven't played him yet since no PTB on Xbox, but I'd prefer to play Deathslinger just for the lols. Being able to drag survivors around just for the giggles. Sure, he won't get constant 4k's, but I never play matches for that reason anyway. I play for points and having some fun while doing it, and Deathslinger seems to be a fun time overall.

    and after Billy, who next?

    one after another.. sad survivors

I bet Oni, since he's a weaker version of Billy. Seems all the 1-Hitters or 'hard to go against' seem to be hitting the chopping block lately. These newbies need to actually take some time to learn strategies against killers before demanding the nerf hammer. Of course, in this day and age, nobody seems to want to learn anything in a game. Makes you wonder why most games are pay to win these days 🤔

  • Why should it be removed? The Add-On requires a lot of stalking to even come close to activate the unlimited effect. In the time it takes him to do it, at least 3-4 Gens should be done. So, this means you had potatoes that stood and allowed Myers to stare away at them. That's not the games fault. When you know your going against a Myers, you need to be constantly watching. Position yourself at Gens so there's a possible block in the way. I'm not saying you were the cause, but you need to realise that this game is full of potatoes that will not pay attention to what is happening around them.

  • Give it a week. Killer perks will be altered because 'OP, PLZ nerf!' and Survivor perks will remain the same.

  • I've seen someone Head On a Nurse as she walked down the basement stairs from the back locker, and it somehow got the save. Yet, I try to do it to a killer directly in front of me and no activation. I'm starting to think Head On might be a tad broken with dedicated servers.

yes but now most horro is aout ghosts and paranormal, but least they can try right? just would be good to tey then never bother

Oh I agree. I feel the more paranormal sort of horror really has me freaked more than just the usual hack and slash horror. I think it's more the unknown that is more a fear. Someone with a knife, we know whats coming, but a paranormal effect, for example, The Ring, or The Grudge, there's that suspense that something is going to happen but we don't know what. So I get what you mean. I'd love to see more killers like that. Spirit is sort of there, but still doesn't really scream scary for me.

  • This would be abused far too easily. Think about it. SWF brings 2 of their low rank friends. They get the nice easy skill checks, while red ranks get the easy hard skill checks they're used to. So really, no balance to the match. I don't understand why they don't just made Gens regress at a set % without Ruin really. At least then Gens not worked on without Ruin would slowly regress, but not as fast as with Ruin active. Either way, you'll never be able to satisfy everyone with Gen speeds and there are always going to be those who agree to certain changes and others will disagree to them.

sorry but blood and gor will add it better to then some cowboy shooting his gun, we need dripping blood, scary, gor, guts heck anything you can think of as this game just just getting none scary

I agree a little more of the usual horror aspects would be great, but think about it. You watch a few horror films, and you become used to seeing someone being butchered. It gets old fast and no longer has the lasting effect it had the first time. So no matter how much horror is added, we eventually grow immune to the effects. Though, the recent moris (Oni and Deathslinger) have certainly added a more horror vibe for me. Seeing someones tounge being torn out and them having their head smashed in, or a hook just flying through their face, that's creepy!

  • It's become so frequent for me I just renamed grabs as a Shoulder tap. A little 'Ahem, I'm right behind you' action

i would like to see it, could be a style shared between a few survivors. its like these Asian styled outfits we always seem to get, like theyre nice and everything but id like to see a change. plus i think some good outfits could be made for multiple of them anyway, but kate i feel should of already had a rodeo one (bandanna, shirt, jeans, holster, hat etc.) but the one we got is meh, i like me characters clothed and not looking trashy lol

I agree. I feel like a fair few cosmetics are aimed toward specific audiences (Schoolgirl outfits) and I'm not saying thats bad, but they're not my style. I like the cosmetics that look unique instead of pretty much a clear view up someones skirt.

  • Oof on Kate, though you're right! I'd love to see some Cowboy styled cosmetics for survivors. Chances are we'll get some a little while after the new killer releases and his cosmetics release.

  • I don't need No Mither since I spend 90% of matches injured or hooked because I get teammates refusing to heal me as they feel the need to hide in a random corner of the map in fear of the killer. God I love DbD somedays!
