Because they really aren’t easy to get, especially if you don’t want to play like an ass. Love the quality work you put in that comment, it’s super helpful.Tsulan said:No, no aaaaand no.
They are already easy af to obtain.
Why make it even easier? -
Using Claudette to be toxic

That does change the fact that they can still do the no chase tactic without addons.AlexAnarchy said:wow, a purple addon that you don't see on every single legion out there makes them impossible to win against...
Just remember, the devs made legion to be a fun killer, not a balanced one...another pretty good job so far on the thinking department..

Are you mad?Xycronian said:Jesus Christ. These are the worst buff suggestions iv'e ever seen for a killer.
Buff 1 - The point is that it's random. I mainly get my RBT off on the last box i search
Buff 2 - That's just OP
Buff 3 - Its hard enough to just find the hatch, especially with a ticking time bomb on your [BAD WORD] head.
Ambush -
Buff 1 - You might as well not be crouched. You are going the same speed as the nurse.
Buff 2 - Ig that might be alright
Addons - Ok, those are actually reasonableI play pig every now and then. and I still get easy 4k's (Im rank 6) I personally don't think she needs to be buffed.

Telling people to patrol gens is the dumbest excuse out there. You need to chase survivors, and when the matches depend on the survivors mistakes (high ranks) you can’t chase and patrol a generator. It’s not possible.Myerinodudd said:You need to patrol gens more. Also survivors doing their objective and maybe they opened chest or did 2-3 totems it is not called gen rush. I am sorry but it means you are bad at killer.(even the community manager said these things to me) -
As long as survivors get stacks for WGLF.DwightsLifeMatters said:Is it possible to give the Killer the BBQ stack if someone DCs before getting hooked and the survivor his stacks if the killer DCs?
It's getting annoying if you can't get 4 stacks because of DCs -
Reading dates is sooo hard.HellDescent said:What does tinkerer has to do with it? Tinkerer removes your tr for 8/10/12 seconds when the gen is at 85%. While dried cicada affects the distance you can teleport to your traps.
-
Not really honestly. If you build it, it’ll get destroyed in less than a minute. If not a gen gets completed in the first minute. It’s not fun dealing with that as a killer.

It’s not like the “idiot” teammate can do anything against Legion spamming M1 to get a hit.Poweas said:@DemonDaddy said:
Not arguing against your experience, but here is what I would suggest as it works for me.
Legions whole advantage is in chase, the best counter to what most are calling "anti-chase" is stealth. I've had several games where legion either could not locate or track after spotting me. Los breakers are best for slipping away and back tracking to prevent a trail. Spotting your trail also work pretty well especially if there are lots of trees to use for cover. If chase is to much, prevent it to the best of your ability. Sprinting away isn't gonna save you in every situation. You can't hide when he hits a teammate who was near u like an idiot. (The teammate is an idiot)

The comparisons are weak, Claudette is already hidden with her skin tone, the P3 just adds a level of BS. The rest are easier to see and have something that gives them away. Claudette doesn’t have that.powerbats said:@MegChicken said:
No matter what rank, you’ll never notice a P3 Claudette, who knows you probably passed one without you knowing. It’s annoying to deal with a Squadette, Claudette is a problem.
I mained Claudette when I 1st started playing her because I liked her backstory the most and good or better killers always found me when I was wearing my P3. They would run whispers and or just knew where to look and the same can be said for other characters.
I've literally walked into other P3 characters and couldn't understand why I couldn't move until I looked down and saw the Feng or Bill etc blocking me.
You're blaming Claudette because you can't find her but if you think she's such an issue go play her non stop with her darkest clothes and face good killers.
When you get destroyed and found often because they know how to counter you you'll change your mind.

I would but I only fused non-teachable perks.Entità said:Very interesting ideas, but:1) 10% aura reading bonus is less than 8 meters: maybe 33%, that is 12 meters;2) you should propose new effects for perks "empty" because of their fusion with others.

I like all of them, BUT, one, lithe, to me it is a the current 2nd best exhaust perk due to the ability it can get you out of "sticky" situations, and its not situational, if you mean by vault speed increase with the speed boost in chase for I think 3 seconds then I dont mind, but if its just vault speed that would be weak, because bamboozle exists
You guys are giving Lithe to much credit even thought it can be the worst exhaustion perk, due to it's stupid “in a chase to activate” requirement. Lithe needs a push, nothing to small.ad19970 said:I actually like a lot of the ideas here. However I don't like the idea of a perk always giving you bigger great skill check success zones, cause then that perk would make Hex: Ruin absolutely useless at high ranks.
Also I think Lithe should stay the way it is. I think faster vault speed could actually be a little too good, though I'm not sure. It would be better to just use that idea for a new perk honestly though.
its not like majority of players will still pick it up, the success zones aren’t drastically bigger, but the perk needs buffs. -

So we are forced to use 3rd party programs in order to make ingame character skins visible.
Great designNo, good killers don't need that stuff since they have no issues finding p3 Claudettes and Adams since they know where to look. If you need 3rd party programs to find a character in game after 2 years then the issue is obviously you and not the game.

Not really, doing good depends on survivors, not your own skill.JowDaddyy said:It just seems a little unnecessary to me. I don't really think teabagging warrants some form of perk rework, NOED is fine as it is and if you play better as killer then there shouldn't be any survivors left to teabag at the exit gate anyway.

Kindred speeds up the game btw

But you’ll get a new perk in return. So you really don’t lose anything. Get two perks in return.HuN7r3sS said:Nay, I sacrificed too many bloodpoints to the entity for Thanat to be base kit -
So just put it into the base kit for all killers to have. With the 15% happening withone hit, it’ll definitely slow the early game.Tsulan said:Thana is trash anyway. -
It does change something, plus with the insidious effect you can easily wait or see if a survivor is waiting for you. Granted The Game or Doctor map won’t allow the surprise aspect.Ultima said:Just tbag outside of the gates this changes nothing.
-
It’s really not though. The “I’m gonna wait until killer hits me” game is tiring. Plus if a killer is blocking an entrance then go to the other, you don’t have to deal with the instadown, the insidious effect is annoying yes, but without it it’d be the same story again. Sure the killer is much faster, but you actually have a change to escape, unlike the instadown we have now.Victory said:@MegChicken said:
I really want a perk that makes survivors think twice about teabagging or waiting until a killer hits them.I will base the new NOED or new perk, around current NOED and Bloodwarden.
Once all generatiors are completed you gain haste 4-6% and gain decrease cooldown % on weapon hits.
Once all gates are open, survivors no longer hear terror radius when in the vacinity of the exit gate, and are in the exposed status (not given icon to surprise survivors.) If a survivor is hit, the exit gates are closed for (1-4 seconds)
Is no longer a hex perk.
Reasoning - With how controversial NOED is and DS getting reworked (hopefully), I thought it would be a decent idea to bring back the weapon CD and increase the MS, allowing you to get survivors must faster without the instadown. The no terror radius will allow surprise attacks for cocky survivors and the bloodwarden affect is to catch survivors and preventing them from crawling away.
Well balancing around survivors BMing is a horrible way to go, as killers have ways of bming as well. Anyways, in general rework seems solid and makes the perk more clutch instead of crutch. However, if the killer is at the exit gates after misplaying an unhook and the survivors get there, that will just reward bad play like the old noed.
-
Just give the killer a BB bonus by the end of the game depending on a 2-4 SWF.
-
These ideas are awful. Games do go by fast, but these changes will ruin the game.Fenrir said:
Then how about make it only for ranks 1-10 but ruin is built in and cant be taken out meaning the ruin effect stay and cant be removedBlueberry said:What's funny is that the time for each side is so far out of balance that we could actually use your idea and make it a base totem and killers STILL wouldn't even be close to having a fair amount of time for their objective, that's how far out of balance it is.
Unfortunately though your idea would mainly just effect low ranks the most and not high ranks, which is where the actual time differences for each side (aka gen rushing) is really noticeable.

Oops, we already had this discussion -
I would get 4ks as Spirit almost every match, but after this patch I can barely get one or two. I picked up Bloodhound to help, but scratch marks are still so bad, and I don’t want to get Predator, I already wasted one slot, I’m not wasting another. It seems to affect Spirit more too.Pavilions said:The game is starting to become unbalanced and the killers are suffering. The scratch marks are not visible all the time and it's much harder than before (it goes to places they didn't even go to). The sounds of the injured survivors are really bad and you can't hear them well and even if you do sometimes the sound comes from the wrong place. The game needs a serious update the spirit and some other killers are suffering from this it's really unplayable

On xbox, there is 3 good Nurses, but she is not ideal to play as. If you ask anyone In Xbox, they’ll put Nurse below A tier. Before Spirit, I played her with trash perks and did either awful or 4K, Nurse is a wild card.thesuicidefox said:@MegChicken said:
Nurse is definitely not top tier on console. Every Nurse I play against (every 50th game, no joke) she either gets 2 or DCs, I can assume you, I’ve played this game for awhile now and only fought against 2 good Nurses. She is top tier, the problem is that, on Xbox at least, there are literally like 3 god tier Nurse's, and then maybe 4 more good ones (1 of them probably being me). It's not often you get a Nurse that's knows what they are doing but it can still happen.
She isn’t top tier, but she isn’t unplayable. -

Well depends, if console or pc. On pc nurse is 1, on console she's on par with Pig.
Billy is solid top on both. Spirit is below billy on pc, she's below Legion on Console. Myers is below spirit on PC above Legion on Console. Hag is above Legion on both and arguably below/equal Myers. Huntress and Legion are below Myers/Hag. Clown is below Huntress and Legion. Leatherface, Trapper, Wraith are below Clown. Freddy is on par with Legion on console but at the bottom on pc. Doc and Pig are at same level for both.Spirit is top tier on console too. She's definitely not below Legion.
Nurse is also still top tier on console, it's just harder to use her than on PC so not many players ever bother to learn her. I spent the time learning her and I find her very VERY powerful. The catch is that sometimes a game can have bad frame rate (happens for every killer actually) which especially hurts Nurse. But if you know what you are doing and the game isn't borked you will still dominate like on PC.
You guys are confusing frequency with strength. The tier list is consistent across platforms, but because killers like Nurse/Huntress suffer more from frame rate and are harder to learn, there are less GOOD players for these killers. Therefore all the good players gravitate towards killers that are easier to use. Freddy, Wraith, Trapper, Billy. Spirit is hard to use but not in the same way as Nurse/Huntress. They are mechanically difficult, where Spirit is tactically difficult. If you know how to mind game and track survivors, Spirit is as easy as other easy killers.
Like I see a ton of Myers on Xbox. But it's not because he is really good, more than there are a lot of Halloween fans that play him. And he's fun to play. He's no more viable against top tier survivors than he is on PC. Trust, I'm one of those survivors and Myers isn't that great. It's way harder to beat a good Nurse/Spirit/Huntress/Billy than Myers, but hardly anyone good plays Nurse/Huntress.
-
I’ve doing decent with this build
Ruin, to gain an advantage, but never actually get one.
BBQ, to find survivors easier and BP.
Moniter and Abuse, it catches survivors off guard and the extra terror radius helps with frenzy.
Nurses Calling, allows me to find survivors easier with MaA, they can’t hear when they’re healing. -

Cosmetics that make stat changes would probably be difficult for BHVR to code and work out. That and people might complain about their 'fashion'.Also, the Legion is actually four, not two, people. Only Frank and Julie are available cosmetically at the moment, Joey and Susie may be available (again, cosmetically) on full release or later in the PTB.
That being said if we were going to get different stats per different member of the Legion, BHVR would have to code up to four different stat sets. Or maybe make Frank and Joey share the same stat set, and Julie and Susie the other stat set.
I don't think they'd be able to integrate this regarding time constraints though, between the PTB and the live release of Darkness Among Us. -

You can attack the body blocker. Problem solved.The_Crispiest said:This needs to end. Survivors need a nerf or change that no longer allows them to body block hooks. This is an irritating "strategy" that survivors pull to completely deny a killer from using the hook and there are next to no consequences to it since anyone who still stands can just block the next hook and pick up any fallen teamates. This either needs to be removed entirely or have some sort of penalty akin to the entity appearing at windows after getting vaulted again and again. (also could that be added to pallets? Sounds nice to me).
