not for their first few dodges, but there should be an upper limit where its like "ok, you're seriously cherry picking a little too much, calm the heck down and play"
-
The Theslinger
-
Imagine complaining about a system that is supposed to make games fairer, which is certainly has for me and others.
-
I also only checked Ace, glad to see your priorities are in order.
-
its okay, you can come back now.
-
If Scourge Hooks are here, then Boon Totems must be coming with the next survivor (assuming no delays or issues with implementation)
-
Dont really ever use offerings unless me and my friends are trying to test a strat.
-
They could change Hawkin's Laboratory into Talbot Grimes' Laboratory - Dyer Island. Instead of it having The Upside Down's influence, it's The Entity's influence. They're somewhat similar visually considering RPD's implementation.
-
I loved it thematically, even if the gameplay can be shoddy at times. The atmosphere was perfect for DBD and it's a shame it has to go away before it could've been reworked gameplay wise.
-
Demo has my second favorite power (Shred), don't know how to effectively use portals, but that's gotta change eventually.
-
If they generify the perks then they can do whatever to them balance wise. Unless Steve and Nancy had magical superpowers that replicate the perks here then there's no connection between the two.
on DBD mobile Nemesis, Leon and Jill's perks are generic instead.
-
They put a massive amount of work and detail in the lab map (including the reference to Paulie), to lose that, despite the amount of justifiable hate on it, is still painful.

Doubtful, maybe he'll be released with a reworked map.
Badham Preschool's third visual rework.
-
Imagine someone not wanting Brenda, YOU ON CANDID CAMERA NOW!
-
Perhaps SBMM is what's needed for BHVR to see just how imbalanced certain mechanics/perks/maps etc. etc. can be.
It's one thing if a killer does poorly, its another if a multitude of higher mmr players using said killer still do poorly against even lower mmr survivors.
-
its rather unsatisfactory, but it was supposed to prevent the successful hit sfx and vfx.
I usually don't experience that sound since I play Nemesis, but on Demo it happens more than I would like.
-
Because they realized they messed up in their build choice and allowed themselves to get countered.
They go by the 'Slugging is Best' doctrine, and then when it doesnt go their way they get upset.
-
If any player is experiencing hitches/freezes then that affects literally every other player in the game.
-
This is why you must work on gens before deciding to farm. Everything truly is not what it seems.
-
Plague, Nemesis, Oni, Doctor, Pyramid Head, Twins. They all have a way to debuff the survivor and keep track of them when they're supposed to be silent.
Of course people are running Iron Will, screw The Spirit.
-
It depends on how the match went, if I got a 2k only because I messed up multiple times with my power then it just feels meh.
If the survivors were coordinated and dominating and a few clutch moves turned the match around, I'm happy with 2 kills.

Did they happen to make a FNAF concept?
You are Chaotic-Evil and I love it.
-
Did you guys not see the 1987?
It's Silent Night Deadly Night Part 2.
-
Yes.

you get huge penalties for unsafe unhooks
I mean, they dont take away bloodpoints from your account and ranks mean literally nothing, so there is no penalty.
-
This is why 10% of Unhook score should be for the act, and the 90% should be for successfully completing a safe hook.
Safe hook score should be held off if BT activates on the survivor, up until they escape the chase, if they dont, the sandbagger gets scraps for BP.
Endgame unhooks stay the same tho, there's not much to be done at that point of the match.
-
Even if the game is over and everyone is offing themselves, i'll just stick to a gen until the killer decides to murder me.
-
Oh i've definitely seen things that were talked about that also has seen changes in-game.
Someone not too long ago wrote a dissertation on The Blight and was acknowledged by a member of the Dev Team, this was during the time when Blight could turn 180 around a wall due to mouse sensitivity, but consoles could barely turn at all.
-
Well when ranks were showing, people were shady to anyone's rank that wasnt their own, or even of their own ranks by deriving their own depiction of how they should be playing at [X] rank.
-
I've given someone hatch since one person dc'd due to their own rage, but then they proceeded to talk crap with their friends for 2 minutes.
Sometimes, you truly are just an enemy to the survivor.
-

I've noticed a lot of Leatherface's do this too. Anyone figured out why yet?
This is because a larger-than-it-should-be portion of survivors...simply don't do gens.
They'd rather rush a save and make a bad situation worse than to get 3 gens done in less than the amount of time it takes for the one survivor to bleed out on hook.
If three gens get done, then if he camps a second person, the other 2 can finish the last 2 gens, secure a gate and ensure someone makes it out.
-
Would you consider Nemesis elaborate, or just ranged with extra steps? Nemesis is very fun to me.
I certainly think The Twins are cool, but no way in hell am I making 5 people suffer every match.
-
Survivors look strange as hell when DH activates now on the killer's perspective, got no clue whats going on, but its definitely not normal.
-
@Hex_Llama said:
Everybody likes to understand why they won or lost, but it sounds like you're main explanation for why you win or lose is other people's ranks. Can't you just look at what happens in the match and say, "Oh, we won/lost because we did that?"
because its much easier to just look down on people than look within
-
This makes sense, Console survivors are freezing and stuttering, and as killer I'm seeing them teleport short distances.
(or at least I hope thats the reason, and people arent just using tp hacks)
-
He raises hell.
I dont know, I never watched the movie.
-
Yup, I hear this too.
-
That mentality is the reason it was taken away.
Seeing others Ranks served no purpose other than for people to talk crap about someone due to their rank, whether they were low rank and you thought they had no business being in the game with you, or they were rank 1 and you want to BM them for their poor performance.
I am happily awaiting the day this becomes permanent.
-
No more hearing: "OMG you're rank 1 and [insert their interpretation of my gameplay], so garbage!" after they die and wait until Post-Game chat
Sounds pretty good to me

Wow Sims 2 has new dlc?
zeh-gar menoga!
-
Useless. that's usually what I say aloud when I see them anyways.

-
There are three chests in a trial for a reason, you just don't want to lose your bully-squad item.

One advantage you get is being able to jog unless that's possible with keyboards
there are analog keyboards, but hell if you want one.

there's plenty of RNG in Dota2 and that game has the largest prize pool in all of gaming. Chaos Knight is literally built on RNG. Ogre Magi as well. He purposely sounds like a slot machine because you don't know if you're going to cast something Once, or Four times.
Also, League of Legends, Runes, and Summoner Spells.
Since it's Inception, Flash has and always will be the most powerful summoner spell for 90% of situations. What does that sound like? the perks that are used the most frequently by both killers and survivors in DBD. They work, they aren't niche and they are powerful. Wow, it's the same thing.
There will always be runes that surpass others, hell they got rid of the old rune system because they couldn't figure out how balance hundreds of runes. Runes in its current form, while far simpler, still has its shining stars that make other runes appear obsolete. Kleptomancy had to be removed due to it's strength. The illusion of choice is a trait that both DBD and LoL share.
League now also has plants that spawn randomly that can affect terrain traversal, sustain, and vision. Oh, and the dragons spawn at random as well. Never know what type of major buff you'll get.
-
I always turn sideways when I look up, because realistically I would never look a flashbang head-on.
-
Killer swapping is literally never going to come back, survivors should just not be able to change their character after the timer has reached a certain threshold.
-
Playstation was my first console, and the first game I played was some Bomberman game. For the life of me I cant figure out which one it was.
-
If the gens aren't done, the gens NEED to get done. As to why so many people dont understand this, makes no sense to me.
if all the gens are done, whatever happens to the hooked survivor is fair game.
At that point, the hook is the only Objective the killer has left, and to abandon it to check a door is almost guaranteed to result in demise.
Doctor has a cooldown, the unhooked survivor could have taken Breakdown, DS, Second Wind, or any other perk to assist in their escape from a camper. The unhooker could have taken Borrowed Time, bodyblocked or other methods to get the survivor to the gate successfully.
Honestly if the three survivors were competent there shouldnt really be a way the survivor was unable to get off the hook, everyone was just too scared to risk their own lives to do anything.
-
Binding of Kin was by far the most horrendous, poorly thought out and poorly executed chapter.
They created a killer that performs in an inefficient manner but excels in the gameplay survivors find the least enjoyable.
Luckily they could be purchased with shards because I was not spending money on them.
