    Clown needs his own realm.

Clown does, I can't remember it's name but the map with the cathedral and a small circus area. It's not that good though and I wonder how a bright and colourful map that's just a huge circus/theme park would work.

I think catshugsmason... He needs it.

    Don't be a dick.
  • The hatch is a bad mechanic, say instead of the hatch the Devs implemented a different mechanic such as.
*If a survivor leaves before two generator are done one (or even two) is randomly picked and is instantly done* it balanced it out slightly*
That could make three man games easier than four man ones, but there would be no cheap escape for the survivor.
  • @purebalance First off if your ever in that situation where two people die and DC within the first minute or so and you can still pull of two generators, yes you deserve to escape, you had bad team mates not your fault. But what about the game where it's 4 max prestiges against you. They gen rush and the killer has to try his hardest to kill your team mates. The hatch is a good mechanic for making up for them bad team mates, for the times it isn't your fault your gonna loose. But when it is the survivors fault and they should loose then they should die and shouldn't have a free escape.
  • Implying someone has mental health issues of some kind, is definitely and insult. Anyway 4 kills is the equivalent to a survivor escaping. The killer gets a very large bonus to his bloodlines when he kills all survivors, same as when a survivor escapes. Doing two generators should not give any reward, it can literally be done in the time one chase can be against a killer like the trapper who has no chase potential.
  • Due to their abilities, Claudette is garunteed number one. And the next three will be Feng, Meg and Nea 2-4 (In whatever order) no matter what. You can argue anyway for the others but most likely the two survivors to be 5-6 are the ones who have a free escape, Laurie and Adam.
  • First "It's not impossible" just ######### difficult, even if you slug the final survivor will most likely hide in a locker as far away from you as possible for two minutes, jumping on gens for 3 seconds then going back to hiding.
Second, don't try to undermine someone's point by underhandedly insulting them. Getting annoyed at a slow paced game (or any game you play lots) is understandable. Like doing anything if you put lots of effort into something and it fails it's agrivating, especially if you had no way to effect that reason.

Now get your toxic survivor ass out.
  • It's an it not a she, I don't understand why people don't use the added speed to get close and wait for the ability to fall off to kill someone, it seems like a free starting hit with a bonus effect.
  • You should replace noed with agitation (more likely to get body's to the basement) as the cannibal has a one shot ability allready. Also insidious is kinda "aids".
  • Your story is confusing but, there's an item called syptic agent that instantly heals you from dying to injured, or injured to healthy. And an item called the anti hemorrhage syringe that instantly heals a dying survivor to full.
  • Clown is much better than the Huntress... Hag is better than Myers. Leather face is better than trapper.
Huntress can be looped easily, she's B tier max
Clown is definitely A tier, a chase never lasts 20 seconds.
Leather face isn't good but he isn't as bad as people make him out to be, he's most likely C tier.
  • The new killer is definitely a male from the looks of things but we haven't seen a face or any abilities yet, also it would be obvious if the killer was liscenced. The map would be recognisable from a movie.
  • A killer will only camp if there bad, or it's late game.
  • @DwightsLifeMatters and @thesuicidefox Thank You. Looks like I'll purchase it as Pig is one of my favourite killers and I don't want her to be limited to one perk option for 10-15 levels.
  • @Wolf74 that is the point but it's kind of dumb. If your going to camp your not going to be using it? With Devour Hope it makes sense as it's very strong when maxed out, so it balances itself by preventing any sort of interuption to saves at all. With Make Your Choice it makes sense as it would be super op. A token based system wouldn't make Pop Goes The Weasel super op, it would just make it useful.
  • Good ideas, but why did you add so many killers? Myers and Hag are the most balanced killers. And the clown definitely doesn't need any kind of buff. The Huntress idea where her abilities are similar to Doc in the way you toggle them is amazing and should be implemented. Trapper needs to be able to carry way more traps in his base kit. Doc just needs to have his carter spark ambient effect active even with his weapon out.
  • I think this should be added to the super-rare add ons. It would make getting them more exciting and cooler to use. Obviously some wouldn't be able to show such as Myers Tombstone, but most survivors will understand what your using early on, showing it wouldn't be detrimental to the killer.
Maybe survivors could show certain add-ons as well, specifically the key and the medkit so the killer can learn the keys intended use and see if any survivors are using anti-hemoridge syringes. :)
  • @DominickBane Lullaby only effects generators. And what many people don't seem to understand is you can use decisive to help you. Use Remember Me and it's beneficial to you if the obsession is running DC
  • Doc needs a buff much more. Huntress is one of the best balanced killers in the game but that is if you are a great huntress player.
Huntress isn't balanced at all. She's horribly bad infact. Her hatchets have stupid hitboxes and her humming makes it impossible hard to find survivors even with whispers.

I'd recommend skipping that challenge, unless you specifically play killer. Getting a Mori will require around a level 20 killer (for a green or pink Mori the only usable ones). As someone who plays using devour hope often it will probably take around 4-5 rounds to pull of a devour hope and it's locked behind level 40 hag. Rancor is an easy way to get a kill with your hand, but is locked behind the spirit and even if you unlock her you have to get her to level 40.

Skipping a Daily which gives you 60 k? I bet you hate bloodpoints then xD

I said if you dont play killer often to skip it, if your a rank 1 killer you should be able to do this easily, unless you've just prestiged a killer or there's a certain killer you just don't play.

    POP GOES THE WEASEL
After hooking a survivor, a random generator/a random generator/the most progressed generator on the map will explode and regress by 20/25/30%, normal regression applies after the explosion.

How I would change pop goes the weasel.

    No absolutely not.

At least try and give a reason xD
  • I usually just take it as an opportunity to farm, and if the survivors don't want to I just **** with em a lil
  • @Soren I kind of agree, maybe the fact it targets the most progressed generator is a bit too op. Maybe if it was random with a chance to regress a gen with no progression (being useless sometimes) it could be more fair.

Myers works too. Tombstone judiths or piece. I would recomend tombstone piece personally judiths is a bad idea unless you all in on a build dedicated to getting the kills.
Probably the easiest way to get a kill but he needs to get a Mori with the nurse.
  • I'd recommend skipping that challenge, unless you specifically play killer. Getting a Mori will require around a level 20 killer (for a green or pink Mori the only usable ones). • Micheal can allready stalk multiple people and he has add-ons that increase his evil gained per second. If your having trouble stalking from being spotted to early use insidious.

I would let that Myers stalk me till tier 3 <3
    What
  • You posted in the wrong area Buddy, this the Off Topic section where we discuss thing NOT dbd related. Next time post in General Discussions or Balance Feedback
Apologies, it didn't give me a prompt to pick what sub-forum it was to be posted in so I assumed it would send it to the part of the forum I was in
  • @powerbats doesn't mean it's fair. It's still sided towards the survivors 1000% and it is getting ridiculous.
  • Really. I got Freddy to level 40 on rank one. When I went back to the clown I was so happy. I couldn't remember how to play clown properly because it wasn't in my muscle memory so I basically played a basic killer with no ability and it was so ridiculously easy being able to hit people without waiting 10 seconds. Freddy is so unbelileviably weak it's amazing. The fact literally a killer with no perks or add-ons is less tedious and easier to play than Freddy is so mind boggling
  • Good Idea tbh. This would have to not effect some killers though, such as Micheal due to his tombstone tactic.

No. They need to slowdown the gen rush and not make it easier.

Killer has plenty of perks for that - I have no issues playing killer with being gen rushed. Heard of Hex Ruin? Thana? You might have to drop one of your crutch perks (Nurse's or BBQ) but there is a way.

If you weren't playing killer at rank 1 (and I'm assuming that as it seems you play killer more casually than survivor) you don't know the issues of gen rushing. Right now if two people use the brand new part and the team aren't complete imbeciles they should have the gate open before 1-2 people have been hooked
  • Some additional ideas:

    • Add two or three hatches so it will be quicker to find one.
    • Working on a hatch makes a noise.
    • There could be lights on the hatch indicating progress similar as with the exit gates
    • When only one survivor is left the killer has the option to immediately grab him and kill him on the spot.(Similar as the shape with those tombstone addons)

For both killers and survivors this would mean a quicker end to the round.

If the survivor is able to find any hatch and open it he can leave.
If the killer manages to get close to the last survivor it is an guaranteed kill.
No more hatch camping. No more stand offs.

To further speed this whole process up there could be optional perks that show either killer or survivor auras once the exit gates are open.

The idea of multiple hatches make sense so the killer doesn't instantly win if they find the hatch. The idea of pulling open the hatch would make the lights unnecessary as in my head you'd see the hatch slowly opening showings it progress. The hatch making a distinctive noise when worked on also makes sense and the Mori on the last survivor is something that should of been implemnented since day one.
  • @Aerys
it's just to weird for me. I dont understand how you trade with the Entity it doesn't seem right. The only thing I'd say you should be able to trade is old event items.
  • It is literally useless
  • The flashlight is allready easy. You need to flash the killer during the pick up animation as he can't dodge then. There is literally no way any killer will get blinded by the flashlight while they're not stuck in an animation...
  • @Aerys
It still doesn't seem right. It just removes the randomness of the game, aswell as this your not considering how this saves you alot of money with them add-ons you don't use. I'm a rank 1 killer main so I know how important add one are, but right now I have along the lines of 100-150 brown add one and 30-40 yellow on clown. That's about 30 free green add-ons, that is extremely op. That would guarantee me 3k for 20 games depending on what I get as most clown items above yellow are amazing. If this was implemented it would be broken. And if we start talking about offerings things get really messed up as getting white wards would be much easier so you'd be able to use your super rare add-ons more.
  • When playing at Rank 1 my NOED only activated 20% of the time..
  • No killer in the game needs a nerf right now at all. Leather face and Freddy need buffs. And killers need buffs in general.
  • @Aerys a good idea but that would be rather strong if it was implemented the killer would need some sort of perk to counter. Such as the hatch is locked for the final survivor for a minute once the 3rd sacrafice has been completed ?
  • It still takes away from the idea of the blood web and I doubt it will ever be implemented. In any way it would ruin balance. If I could offer 3 brown items to get a yellow then three yellow to get a green the killer would be extremely op. And that's not considering the fact getting super rares and normal rares would be much easier breaking balance.
  • @Blueberry the boogieman is just an idea of something horrific hiding in your closet or under your bed. There's no way they'd actually add something like that to the game that's why the original idea for Micheal Myers name was changed, and the only reason it was an idea is because that's how he's referenced by from some characters.

    The Boogieman

    @Blueberry
That's Micheal Myers. In the movies he's referred to as the boogieman.
And his in-game name was going to be The Boogieman before being changed to The Shape
  • Late game freddy relying on blood Warden is basically the only way to play Freddy. When I was getting him to 50 so I could get blood Warden for my late game piggy build. Blood Warden, NOED and Remember me are essential and most of the time the only way I got kills. It's the only viable tactic I could find for him and it usually got 3 kills. The last perk I mixed up alot but if you have Make Your Choice or ruin as a teachable, I'd recommend that as your fourth perk to make end game a bit easier.

    1. NOED
    2. Blood Warden
    3. Remember Me
    4. Ruin, MYC, Bitter Murmur. Or any perk really.

So you want to penalize everyone who isn't optimal in doing gens just to get at the elite swf? Go ahead and make the gens take 5 minutes to complete, some killers will still ask for more.

Sounds like a classic survivor main.
At rank one I literally can't play anyone other than hag or Billy otherwise the game ends before I can hook more than 2 people

I went all the way to rank 1 using Spirit and frequently aced with no gens done or just 1 or 2. It's really all about figuring out what killer works the best for your playstyle. Then maximizing them and picking the optimal perks based not only on your playstyle but what the survivors have etc.

If the game is ending before you can hook 1 or 2 survivors that just means you need to improve your gameplay, where the safe spots are and where they aren't. Who's a good looper and who's not, which gens you want to prioritize defending and which ones can be ignored.

There's so many things to improve on even if you generally do well you can always get better at it.

Not at all. Let's take the best tracker and the best loop counter. Doc and Clown. If I play the doctor I can easily find everyone but once I find them I'm infinitly looped for about 1-2 minutes no matter what I try. If I play clown I find it extremely difficult to find survivors unless they willingly show themselves to be chased. Even then those survivors are difficult to kill and a chase can still take a minute without certain rare add-ons.
  • @Aerys yup Micheal Clown and Pig are my favourites to play but I can only play them on rank reset untill I inevitably get back to rank 1-3
  • The idea of the blood web is you get what your given. Having a selling function would take away the whole idea of a random ghostly entity that has no agenda.
  • I don't agree with anything said in this thread.
The key isn't OP at all. It's literally just an aholey thing to use.
The main reason it annoys killers because
     1. if there running a late game set up they may aswell of not played at all because there perks are not counted.
    2. the key is used when one gen is left most of the time. At that time the killer is mostly likely in a good situation (Hooked 4 or 5 people and killed one) and assume the game is going well so it very much feels like a stolen victory.
    3. It instantly ends a chase that the killer most likely would of won, there is one or two things I agree with, first is that it should take 10-15 maybe 20 seconds to open (it's a magic lock we don't know how that #### works)

Second thing I agree with is unrelated but it is that being intoxicated from the clown should slightly slow down or cancel certain tasks.

Edit: I forgot to mention this but "VietFox" if a killer NEEDS to use a perk (Franklin's Demise) especially one that needs to be purchased with real money or obtained by luck in the shop. And "there's a perk for that" doesn't mean that it's not an issue as perks should not be required to solve any issues that people think are noteworthy of changing.
