You changed hit registration. Which means grabs are going to be impossible. So you know what you shouldnt do in tomes? Grab ones. You know what youre gonna do? Grab ones in the tomes.

    They are.

Survivors getting cocky and disrespectful are the worst thing about this game.

You won the mind game or loop? Nice, you did better than me, but there's no reason to show no respect for me.

You escaped? Nice, you managed to get away from me or not even appear in my screen playing sneaky, you can just leave and not teabag in the gate getting cocky.

Thing is, they wouldn't do this if they actually feared the killer.

I wasn’t using any add ons and the only perk I was running was BBQ. Could it have been that?

Yes, plus someone else's offerings can effect you too like Streamers and Cakes. During the anniversary event in July 5x cakes each giving stacking 104% BP gains were giving like ~140k, I was brand new, I heard other people got more.

  • @NimaKh1 said:

So today I was playing a round as Michael and somehow I managed to get 70,000 bloodpoints in that round alone. I am confused myself since even though I got a 4K, I didn’t know it was even possible to get that many bloodpoint in only 1 round. Could it have been a glitch?

A perfect killer game is 32K anything more than that is from perks/offerings/add-ons.

Been watching a streamer since the change and there has been a noticeable difference. There have been a few times where he'll be right behind a survivor, go to hit them but suddenly his weapon just phases through them. Between this, grabs not registering and the busted "auto-aim", I'm honestly over playing killer. This game keeps pushing me towards playing survivor, so I'm just gonna give in and become a survivor main.

I was just about to post that grabs don't work. It starts the animation of you putting your hands on them and then they just run away.

Yeah, to be honest between Error 108 that hit me several times, to error 8,000-and-something, they really need to stabilize their game before adding in DC penalties. Never mind having the hill glitch in the game for weeks on top of it.

But I'll be goddamned if that store isn't updated lickity-split.

They have the EA and Activision-Blizzard appearance going: You're just a wallet to them.

Yep. It's astonishing this is 4 years old, it legit feels like a beta all the way through.

  • I played first killer game, as Freddy, didn't really notice any difference. 1 is a very small sample.

Plenty of laggy AF survivors and ridiculous Dead Hards through hits that already landed on my screen, can't say that's different though.

Yeah I'm assuming if it works it wouldnt be a nerf to killer. Why is that bad dont consider something that supposed to fix issues for survivor a killer nerf. Where were you when survivors are getting hit after taking so many steps from windows.

I assume you are so used to getting/hitting so many unfair hits fair hits are foreign to you.

    Aren't you the #########.

It's not a massive killer nerf it's a massive laggy vpn killer nerf.

You are assuming it works 100% as intended with no bugs and no exploitable elements, and you're doing this with them even stating this a beta test. Even if it did work as intended, they are adding a layer of overhead and complexity, I work in IT professionally, this alone is always a potential issue.

My ping is usually in the 60-70 ms range. If I see yellow in a lobby I generally dodge it already. I'm definitely going to be watching this closely.

I've now played 2 full games as survivor. I'm noticing killers missing a ######### LOAD of hits like 3x-4x times as many as they did before and I'm by no means good. I'm maxing pallet stuns maxing chase maxing boldness cleanse etc. They're hitting ledges/window sills/totally missing lunges etc. I'm not looking forward to playing killer games myself.

EDIT: The Doctor I played against in my last game was PC so I could talk to him. He said he thinks he's able to hit 360 survivors more often. So, that's something I guess.

  • @Zozzy said:

I just looked at the pictures and from that it looks like killers with a vpn are being told to ######### off.

    good

But what if the survivor has 300 ping and the killer has 20?

Under normal circumstances where the Killer has a solid connection to the server, hits are still handled on the Killer’s end as they were before and you should not notice any difference. We are going to be closely monitoring the Hit Validation Beta to ensure that it is working smoothly, and we encourage you to leave any feedback you have in our forums at https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en or answer this survey https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/HMQBKMJ

  • @xEa said:

I am just wondering how hits can be survivor sided? I think they can only be less bullshit (unless they change hitbox of survivor actually smaller then survivor model)

How is the server decide whose client to believe? The one with the better ping instead of the killer.

This is what the Hit Validation Beta intends to fix: In situations where the Killer has a poor connection to the server, the server will step in and evaluate their hits to make sure that they are fair. If it is determined that the hit only landed due to the Killers weak connection (I.e. The Killer and the Survivor were too far away for the hit to land), the hit is rejected, and the Survivor does not take any damage. In simple terms, the player with a poor connection is at a disadvantage, no matter which side they are playing.

  • @Redhawk_uk2 said:

    Hi all!

Here I want to hear about your experience with the new hit validation!

As in if youbare receiving more fair hits and misses from both survivor and killer perspectives.

For example ive played only 1 game of survivor anf killer repsectively and both as the huntress and against the huntress from the survivor side I've seen a few hatchets seemingly pass through me while the killer side I've seen the visual effects of hatchets connecting but no actual hit normally during the quick spins to hit a survivor next to me!

Reading the post about it from @Peanits at the top of the forum, the pictures look like a massive killer nerf. I haven't bothered to try it. Playing survivor. I'm rank 8 but am suddenly able to pallet stun like crazy without getting hit, guessing this is why.

  • Hatches need to be removed from the game with keys, earn your wins. Moris are fine and already come with a steep BP penalty for use. Deer Hunter and Whispers should be killer base kit.

Freddy is shorter but his attack is the same, compared to nurse who has a better hitbox but shorter lunge

One of the many reasons I do not play Nurse. That short lunge is probably more frustrating than the self stun, impassable terrain, headphone requirement, terrible add-ons, etc.

Like im pretty sure if you're in a locker you get lvl 1 iron will? @Avarice10 If you don't want to make any noise at all you can run Iron Will.

Quick & Quiet makes enter/exit virtually silent too.

    @PoopoosEntusNunus said:

It's easy to counter bbq, chances of running into Iron maiden are so low, many stealth perks. Lockers are unreliable as there many Los blockers, such as tiles, rocks, trees and buildings.

There are even some characters that are used for stealth.

There are so many options, yet here you are complaining

There are tons of bugs, people can spam interaction key and literally get killer stuck in the locker animation the same as the hill bug and be impossible to grab. I've seen people get hit enter a locker and immediately exit again to hit the floor. Tons of people go in to lockers to force a grab to land DS. It has a lot of stupid interactions, but you're right Iron Maiden is not a common perk. Other than that, Whispers is the only way you're gonna find someone in it and that's if you can triangulate it with no one else in the radius to ######### it up.

EDIT: Of course you do sometimes see people who do not understand how blood trails and scratch marks work that make it easy.

I haven't had to play much killer to learn that lesson. I've already had a whole squad of red rank swfs come through my lobby. It didn't take long, either. Little shits running around, trying to copy moves from their favorite YouTubers because they can't come up with anything orginal. The ones who are overly toxic in the match then even more so in chat afterwards because I didn't play along, thinking they've really done something when they're not as good as they think they are.... My band-aid got ripped off pretty early on.. These days if I even suspect swf or see a lobby of 3-4 flashlights, I'm outta there. ######### that. But yeah, I can 100% see why killer mains feel the way they do.

Yea, I was facing teams like that at rank 18 as killer, they're usually just as toxic to solo queue too.

  • @delilahsupastar said:

I spend 99% of my time playing survivor, so my killer rank has never gone beyond 19-20. I mainly just play for fun or when I have a daily ritual or something. I won't be destroying any red rank swf groups anytime soon, but I do ok. Tonight, I got a group of survivors that I could tell were fairly new... and I mean brand new... 3 out of 4 were opening up DBD for the first time new (I didn't know that until after the match). After 3 were dead, I found the 4th still working on generators when most would have been scouring the map trying to find hatch (which I had found and closed, eventually). After I downed her, it dawned on me. This baby Meg probably doesn't even know what a hatch is. So, I picked her up and walked over to the door and let her wiggle off but she was so scared that she immediately ran. I just stood there watching, as she frantically dropped pallets along the way, thinking I was after her. She ended up letting the timer run out, I'm guessing because she was too afraid to try to open the other door. Had I known they were brand new I probably would have gone easier on all of them tbh.

Sorry for the novel but I needed context for my question, which is - Does anyone else ever feel bad like that? Or do you take a more 'rip the band-aid off' approach?

Nope. Play more killer and you will very quickly learn why yourself. That's the band-aid that needs ripped off.

Well you don’t have to imagine how the premium rift would satisfy you, you can see those rewards even when not bought..

you say yourself you are not the target audience, then maybe just ignore it? I haven’t really noticed those ‚claim your rewards‘ notification..

He's right, the empty squares cause constant notifications trying to goad you in to paying, this is super ######### annoying, and every other game with these F2P mechanics uses in-game currencies in these spaces, like BP and shards would be appropriate as he says.

As with the BP, I think the grind is well beyond reasonable which is why I said it's underwhelming. I'm currently sitting at like 52/70 with like 120 hours played on it and all unlocked chapters completely cleared. This is more than a full time job if I were only playing for the unlocks.

If this is supposed to encourage me to open my wallet, it's having the exact opposite effect! If you can't even muster up some extra bloodpoints or shards as filler, I can't imagine the premium rift is gonna be much more satisfying.

And why do I get a notification after every single match I don't open it to go 'claim my reward'? That's some primo trolling.

I care approximately 0% about cosmetics even at the best of times, so I'm not the target audience regardless, but good lord could this be any more lazy and obvious? It's the most barebones battle pass concept I've seen so far, so much empty space.

I pretty much only got this one for the Hag skin but you're right it's pretty underwhelming overall.

Its okay to take their opinions into account and formulate your own. What is not okay is to take their opinion and put them into a pedestal, spam their videos and take everything they say in them as an axiom.

Yes, I know it is a player a 100 thousand hours in the game, yes, I know it is a player that knows how to play very optimally, yes, I know it is a player that can 4k as clown 100 games in a row, does that make everything he says about the game true? No. Learn to think critically.

Thanks for listening to my rant.

If you agree, how would you be able to tell the difference? Maybe people agree with the streamer because their opinions/experiences/outlooks match. Maybe no one takes them seriously but they know the streamer with 10k live viewers that has the same opinion may have more influence and their opinions given more weight.

Given that many of these people literally play the game as a full time job, and even by your own admission have ungodly hours of experience, maybe you should listen to them, or rather, maybe BHVR should - especially if/when they all agree. I'm not sure who you're referencing or why but yea.

Does BHVR actually have employed playtesters? Serious question, I'm not talking about Devs who implement and play their lunch idea for 10 minutes and think it's great. The number of bugs and often bad decisions makes it seem unlikely.

I mean, from a design perspective. I see how it create immersion and a sense of panic, but you make a good point about the disabilities aspect and that PC can give themselves a QOL improvement that console can't. Especially since its cross platform now, they should add a "hold x/a/space to struggle against the entity" option in the options menu.

I'm on PC and have keyboard macros for wiggle and struggle. They're both stupid but with macros it's not bad at all. I would never play this with a controller unless it was one that could also handle very basic macros or at least button smashing.

He didn't ask. I immediately equipped small game and detectives hunch. His video on NOED didn't go as planned.

I'm just curious on hearing what the community thinks. I personally think spirit is a low skill and a high reward killer. On the other hand, I think nurse is high skill and high reward. I mainly think this because spirit is basically an m1 killer with an upgraded wraith cloak + hillbilly sprint combine. I also think she doesnt have much counterplay / feedback to the survivor to counter her. Whereas nurse has a completely different playstyle to learn which can take quite a lot of time to master and is not always reliable. She also has counterplay by losing line of sight and other things.

I was looking at old statistics again, and I noticed that back in November spirit, billy, and freddy had the highest kill rates and spirit was the most picked. These stats were shortly after the nurse nerf, so she was quite low on the charts: 65%. I noticed that before the nerf she was at 72% kill rate meanwhile spirit, billy, and freddy were around 75+% kill rate. Before she was nerfed she also had omega blink, extra blinks, and less limited blinks, yet she was still apparently not performing as well as the killers i listed above. Recently they slightly nerfed billy and i feel as though he is a high skill and high reward killer as well. So i'm just curious why a killer like spirit is not getting a nerf or "rework" when apparently she is overperforming. Also, if they are not using statistics to adjust and balance then what are they using.

I'm just curious what you guys think.

    Stats:

Quote (in a sarcastic tone): "on no it would be a shame if he were to lose his rank 1..." implying that i should depip and let them win, for literally no reason at all other than him not enjoying losing)

the level of entitlement he showed was quite astounding, ngl.

funnily enough though i legitimately went out of my way to go as easy as i could on them - no camps, no tunneling, wasted tone of time in earlygame with someone i tried my hardest to snipe as PH even though Discordance screamed at me they were doing gens, and yet all i got was salt.

like, i ignored multiple people who i just had hooked just to not tunnel them - no comment on that.

i return to an unhook, follow a random scratchmark trail and happen to find the guy i hooked previously - suddenly im a hardcore tunneler who hates fun.

dunno if that story made much sense, but i feel like it can kinda fit the topic? after all he very openly disrespected my playstyle and got quite, i dont wanna say offended, but annoyed at me for it.

I like to focus on people with TV or TTV in their name. You want attention? You got it. They usually have a an army of simps with them too, making them all the more repugnant and toxic to deal with. Nothing makes me switch my cake/BP offering to a mori faster.

I am not implying at all that slugging is bad, or there aren't legitimate reasons to do it. I don't even think the guy I am talking about is wrong for using it as his whole strategy. My question is more about whether or not it's actually skillful.

He literally slugs someone and stands close. When another survivor comes to help that person he slugs them. Unfortunately most survivors seem to be more than happy to come sacrifice themselves when another survivor is slugged. He does this until he has all 4 slugged, and doesn't even attempt to hang anyone until then. This is his strategy every single game from the start. I don't see it as requiring nearly the level of skill as a killer that doesn't make slugging their whole strategy.

I'm guessing this is low rank. As far as skill, not really, it revolves around altruism of survivors for each other. It takes 4 minutes for someone to bleed to death, that's a long time, 3 other survivors x 80 seconds each could do 3 gens separately before they even go near the slug and they'd still have plenty of life left.

Also if they have soul-guard, totems or not, they get the BT Endurance effect when healed making it much easier for them to get away, and the guy going for the save could take a protection hit. I honestly don't see this working unless it's all solo-queue and they're all bad. Like, this doesn't take in to account baits, flash lights, ######### no one uses like Diversion, For the People, etc.

But, I'm red ranks, and the concept of abusing altruisim works. Basement Hag is my current favorite, although I still love Trapper. These aren't perfect and coordinated SWFs can and will still ######### all over you, but randoms? It eats them alive and makes for some excellent Benny Hill episodes.

In 9 out of 10 games I see killers running the same 4 hex perks. Ruin, Lullaby, Retribution and Haunted Grounds (on rare occasion Lullaby is swapped for Devour Hope). It's not that the build isn't easy to counter, it's just the shear annoyance of it for me. Gens are harder to hit great skill checks because of the lullaby, then when the killer patrols, you lose all progress because of ruin. Finally find the hex totem, except you didn't, it was Haunted and because of Retribution now everyone's immediate location is revealed. Obviously you can just break the Hex totems but it gets stale when all your games you are forced to play hide and seek with totems before being able to get to your main objective. I think that is the most annoying part about it, it causes lack of variety in games.

What rank? I never run HEX perks, they're just empty slots.

UB/DS does have counter play though. It's ironic you present a valid point about how "no counterplay" is treated then kinda of just go off and say something has no counterplay.

Slugging early can help beat this combo. You force them to use Unbreakable early. Alternatively if you get the chance to eat DS at 4 or 5 gens I take it because now I don't have to slug that person anymore. In fact if I catch them again I can camp/tunnel and not worry about it.

That's what you have to do. Make them burn their perks early. I rarely see a survivor escape a game if they DS the killer super early like that.

You can't force unbreakable. You can force DS but you do that by eating it, which can literally cost you the game. I have both won and lost because of it on both sides.

Remember that "forcing them to burn their perks" is supposed to be done in the context of preventing gens from being done and multiplied by 4 because they can, and almost certainly will, all have them. It also means they got their "second chances" multiple times, burning ######### tons of your time, and keeping them alive, which means they got the value they intended when they were equipped. By doing this you actually "cost" them NOTHING.

The simple fact that someone who is running both can just crawl to an open gate and there is literally nothing you can do you to stop them if they are close enough is what makes it uncounterable. This isn't even an argument it's a demonstrable fact. Are you also a flat-earther?

  • @WheresTheGate said:

I was talking to an acquaintance yesterday that also loves this game. When he plays killer he exclusively uses Myers and his strategy is to slug from the start. He tends to slug one person, stay somewhere close, and slug other survivors as they come to help. He doesn't hang anyone until he has all 4 survivors slugged unless it gets down to 1 gen.

He told me he didn't understand why he gets so many hateful messages after games saying he's a trash killer when he's using a legit strategy and really good at killer. He asked me if I thought playing that way made him a trash killer. I gave him my honest opinion.

I told him since he is playing within the rules of the game I don't think it makes him a trash killer, and he has every right to play that way. However, I also told him that I think he gets called that for 2 reasons.

    • That style of play doesn't take a lot of skill because he basically just downs one survivor and then waits for the rest to come throw themselves at his feet.
    • It's kind of a jerk way to play

He was offended at both statements. He told me I simply couldn't understand since I'm a survivor main.

Maybe he has a point. I'm curious to get some opinions from those that play killer. Remember I am not debating whether or not it's a legit strategy. I want to know if others that play killer see his strategy as taking much skill, and is not at least a bit of a jerk strategy?

I don't slug as much as that, although I rarely play Myers because he's bad (I have a lot of cakes left on him though and dailies sometimes too). But really it's BHVR that incentivizes people play a certain way.

There is simply not enough time to be getting 12 hook sacrifices without slugging, you will lose and probably not get any kills at all, this is what leads to "tunneling" most of the time - it's desperation or time constraints. Add to that things like DS and Adrenaline with the bullshit Hatch Mechanic and you have no choice.

When there are 2 people left you are 100% forced to slug or you are 97% guaranteed to lose because the second you put one on the hook if the other guy is up he's going to get that hatch. Chances are he already knows where it is and you don't. Killers don't have time to scour the map looking for a hatch but survivors do and even have perks and consumables for doing it.

Left someone slugged while the 2nd to last guy died on hook? Go back to find that slug and he's gone? Now it's a race to the hatch again because for some reason he can use it while down.

If you find it first, don't close it though because there's a very good chance he has Adrenaline and will free-up and get away. All of these scenarios are things I've seen first hand, some of them within the last 24 hours even.

Survivors have far too many second chances and easy outs compared to killers. Your friend doesn't get as many points for slugging as hooking but I completely understand why he does it.

I hope he doesn't use Totems, though, or he's in for a world of soul-guard hurt. UB and its prevalence means all 4 of those are very likely going to get up at least once but that's less than the hooks it requires.

  • @thesuicidefox said:

Okay, I'm honestly tired of seeing this phrase when people talk about anything. It comes up a lot as an argument against Spirit or Deathslinger.

Look at the end of the day every killer and tactic has counter play. There were legit like 5 things in this game ever to not have counter play. Old Legion was one of them. Infinite loops (as in double window at cow tree with no bloodlust and no entity blocker) had no counter play. Heck even in the current game, yes, some stuff has little to no counter play. Ebony Mori. Keys.

But dear Jebus, every time someone tried to argue for a change to a killer they always bring up "no counter play". "Bro there is nothing you can do, you just lose, just D/C already". That's basically what I hear.

Spirit has counter play. Deathslinger has counter play. Now I don't like Deathslinger either, I think it's just a lame experience to get speared with no real way to fight back after that point. But that doesn't mean there is 0 counter play. Even as someone that hates Slinger I can acknowledge that there are ways to avoid getting shot. Tall wall loops work good. Dropping the pallet early generally helps. Janky movement can make it harder for the killer.

Oh yea, and hiding works. It works against Spirit too. "Hiding isn't counter play". Uh yes, it actually is. A 110 killer doesn't have the time to thoroughly search an area. If you never get found you never get caught. I've won games against many killers (Slingers and Spirits included) by just hiding. Yea, it's not exactly an exciting experience. It's boring, ESPECIALLY for killers (I've had people hide on me and it sucks), and it's a bit of a cheesey tactic but it's still a legit tactic at the end of the day. Hide near a gen, keep tapping it, force the 110 killer to search everywhere for you and give up pressure on the rest of the map. If everyone is doing this they will have to commit at some point because this is a battle of attrition and they will lose.

And I get people don't like these killers, again I hate Slinger. But come up with some original arguments and stop parroting a buzzword you heard. It's getting ridiculous.

It's the new "boring". It's another passive-aggressive attempt to get you to be on their side while they desperately try to pretend they don't care and/or are objective.

Things which literally have no counter-play, like the UB/DS combo, are self-evident and earn hilarious nicknames like "small pp build".

Someone did that to my Spirit on Midwich. The snitch died. I then slugged the other and carried them to hatch. They were the last two, and not very good, and the final one couldn't find hatch for anything.

But yeah, snitch and I'll facecamp you. One of the few times I will do that.

I will do my best to snitch on the ######### hiding in a locker on the other side of the map for the last 10 minutes who didn't do ######### all for their team and is just praying for an easy free hatch. I don't care if it gets me killed too as long as they die. Letting trash like that win for nothing makes you worse than they are.

I've been trying to make friends with killers all morning now but when I jokingly hide in a bush with my neon outfit or point and wave at them they usually just kill me. Any advice?

You really can't. I had my own reasons for taking a liking to a particular survivor and letting them go and it's extremely rare.

  • My personal favorite is when you're running Discordance and you see 2 yellow gens 10 seconds in to the map loading, because without even any offerings, 2 sets of 2 survivors spawned on top of different gens. GG BHVR!! a PrEtTy GoOd JoB So fAr

I'm literally a killer main and I'm rank one on both sides. Don't call me entitled when you think survivor is easy. You're a midrank survivor, so you probably go against bad killers. That doesn't mean that survivor is easy, that means you aren't facing competent people.

I can say anything too. How about an opinion from someone with proof. I saw you claim to be a Nurse main in another thread, yet everything you post is anti-killer. The self-loathing must be intense, or you know, you're full of #########.

Like I can't be the only one who thinks that this will change the game for the worse. Giving control of the hatch spawn over to the players, yeah tell me that a month ago and I'd think you were shooting up some of the Blights serum.

I honestly feel that if this addition goes through, it won't be healthy for the game. Every match you see the offering, a boring race to either shack or main building. Fun.

More trash for the blood web because goal seems to be to make the grind longer than the lifespan of the game.

As we don't have a ptb it would be fair to give us 500,000 blood points on consoles because pc gamers already know how to play the new killer.

Guess what? Not everyone plays on PTB or gives a ######### at all about playing the new pinball machine.

  • This is one of the few instances where I actually feel bad for the Devs. All killers need to be playable at the highest level (rank) in all situations (vs SWFs) and be viable (able to win not just limp through being kicked in the balls for 5 minutes) with just their base kit and no add-ons - they currently are not.

Most add-ons are web filler and useless, some are worse than useless and actively nerf you. While others are absolutely required and should be base kit.

They created a system that is impossible to balance. When they sent out player surveys a month or so ago this is one of the things I mentioned.

Can you stop being entitled for a sec? Survivor in solo q is just as hard as killer. And the op is right: meta perks wouldnt be meta if the other side didnt consistently do something. Ds wouldn't be meta if people wouldnt tunnel, bt would be worthless if people didn't camp. Don't call a side you don't play ez mode when its clear you don't know #########.

I solo queue rank 8. Killer is harder rank 3. Look in a mirror before you call anyone entitled.

    1. Equip DS, BT, UB and another second chance.
    2. Get tunneled and use those perks to genrush OR
    3. Dont get tunneled and genrush anyway
    4. ?
    5. Profit.

I dont like tunneling, but second chances have waaay too much impact when going off. If killers had 4 Corrupt interventions to equip from, we would see similar complaints. If survivors cant work on gens due to using 4 perks, it would be really easy playing killer at high ranks.

Lol. Well said. It's also true that survivors can stack offerings and force you to ######### maps, have a million chests, or make hooks practically impossible to use, which is something I never see mentioned (it is the lesser of the issues but still a problem).

How is it fair that I’m rank 1 for survivor and killer and I either get 4 rank 20 survivors to face when I play killer or as survivor get 3 rank 20 teammates but still verse a rank 1 killer. That’s totally unfair

How am I rank 3 killer and rank 8 survivor and literally never see rank 20's in any game ever since like first week I started playing?

I agree with you the meta for both sides is influenced by what the other did. Killers cant accept this for some reason and say "crutch."

More like 10 crutches, there are literally more second chance perks than you can actually equp, I'm surprised you're not asking for more slots, but only for suvivors.

Actual good survivors don't even need perks because the game heavily favors them already. Just got out of a game vs a legacy skinned SWF, the 3,000+ hour claudette talking ######### about how boring the match was.

Yea, you have more than 6x the playtime I do but are some how at the same rank. She had no perks, got more points than me despite 2 kills and nearly maxing most categories. The balance is #########. But it's not like this thread doesn't get posted 300 times a day or anything. Keep defending your OP EZ Mode, GG Survivor Mains.

They aren't gonna unlock them, because next patch (im guessing) or sooner they will reenable MMR. And unlike mmr which they could turn on and off during a patch they needed a patch to lock killer lobbies.

This is all speculation (its all we really have) but its based on how they added/removed the features.

Actually a mod straight up said this. They are planning on bringing back MMR so have left it locked.

  • It did always seem wonky to me. This explains why. Thanks for the information.

There's this thing called V-Sync which is a mystery to the devs.

    Amongst other things....

They force vsync on, you can disable this too, but in my testing, there is nothing to be gained from doing it in actual game performance. I do have the framerate cap off though.

    @DontFaceCamp said:

Hi i just recently switched from console to pc. Ive noticed theres a frame limit of 60fps. I also found that you can change the ini file (if using steam) to uncap the limit. My question is why not just add the option to the settings so that if you're using the windows store you're not at a significant disadvantaged against steam users. the difference is staggering and should be easily added to the game settings. this is the only game that does not have the option. Its almost like im still playing on console, the only difference is mouse and keyboard.

Their options are embarrassing. They're lazy as ######### too, so they support NVIDIA Geforce Experience overlay, because they didn't have to do any of the work. You can turn on the overlay and get like HDR colors, gamma/brightness/a useless colorblind mode, etc. All of it ######### which should be in the game itself - at a massive performance cost.
