Yeah , spirit is faster and can mind game we know that and all that stuff clown can do it either
Clown gets wrecked, LOL. He is very weak, his gas does nothing to safe pallets and if you drop the pallet, he needs to break it, because he can't do anything against that. Also, he is very buggy. He is the second worst killer in my opinion.

I don't want to be rude, but ######### I am watching ?

My guesss is that people will stop using OoO after these changes, because now half of the killers will counter it. I mean, OoO is already weak against the best killers in the game ( Nurse, Spirit ) and that's why this perk isn't meta ( even if is very strong against other killers and in SWF teams ), but because now it will be weak even against stealth killers, people will use it even less.
-
So, this new effect is gonna buff stealth killers and make Object of Depression weaker ? Sounds awesome 😁.

Leatherface can do good if the player is good with him, although you’ll need add ons and a proper perk set.
Literally every killer can do good with add-ons and a proper perk set.

Why should every Killer be balanced around a low-mid tier Killer (Trapper)?
Because every killer should be a bullyable and loopable toy, duh.

I actually don’t think that anyone posting about how ez Billy is to counter has ever spent significant time playing survivor against high level billies. Youre flat out wrong. And since my original post I’ve discovered that Hexy is also adamant about how OP Billy is for the same reasons. Insane mobility, built in 1 hit, the ability to one hit fairly consistently in short/medium range with practice. AgaIn... I solo and play ps4 which has some bearing on this... but the ability to down, use bbq, down again on other side of map, etc... ridic.
You don't make any sense here. "But the ability to down", any killer can down survivors, "use bbq", any killer can use BBQ and "down again on other side of map", any killer can down another survivor on the other side of the map.
And if quote Hexy, I can also quote Zubatlel, Scott Jund, OhTofu and Tru3, all streamers who says that Billy is overrated and relies on survivors mistakes. And 2 of them ( Zubatlel and OhTofu ) are or were Billy mains, unlike Hexy, who almost never plays Billy. Hexy also says other weird things like Cannibal being better than Pig ( LOL ) and new Freddy being better than Spirit ( big LOL ), so I wouldn't trust him so much.

@Marcus. Yes, because is almost impossible you find killers playing with addons.
You can beat even killers with their best add-ons, your point being ?
-
@Sleephartha said:
Exactly Mochan. Take addons out of the picture and compare high level / mastered killers and only Billy and Nurse are near unbeatable. If you want to throw some very strong addons into the mix then some others like the spirit, michael, clown, can basically get free 4ks with the right addons. But in those situations i blame the addons for being OP. The only killers that, once i know who it is, i think “this could be a slaughter if they’re good”, are Billy and Nurse. And at least with nurse, if they are average or below its actually easier than normal. Not so with Billy.
Clown willl never get free 4ks no matter what he is using. No perk or add-on can save Clown against competent survivors. And Billy without add-ons is as loopable as any 115% speed killer, so "git gud".
-
You will come back, everyone comes back at some point, there is no escape from this game 😁. But seriously, if you feel like you don't enjoy this game anymore, you should take a break and play other games.

The only unfair perk here is No Mither. Like dude, you even can't slug them, that's broken AF.

You underestimate spine chill if you think it is only useful for her standing still mindgame.
Spine Chill is only worth against Spirit in combination with Iron Will. But even then, it can be countered by a Spirit, as I said above.
@Rydog said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/618779#Comment_618779
If you are literally across the map from the killer and have no visual on them, you have no way of knowing where they are or what they're doing. Spine Chill helps with this.
If the killer is across the map, Spine Chill doesn't activate, because his range isn't that long. For that, you have Object. Also, if you don't have line of sight of the killer, it means you repair a gen in a very safe building or jungle gym, so you can loop him anyway if it comes at you.
-
@Rydog said:
@Marcus @Scal3r I get that, but Spine Chill can do the heavy lifting for the 99% of players who have not reached that level of game sense and/or are not high enough rank to consistently encounter stuff like moonphasing Spirit.
I watch streamers all the time who have a seemingly robotic predictive sense for where a survivor or a killer went, and I definitely haven't figured out how to replicate it. But boy, does Spine Chill ever help close the gap.
You overracting that 99%, you really think that you need such a high skill cap to be aware of your surroundings so you can counter stealth killers and not be stupid enough to fall for Spirit's standing still mind game ?
-
Enduring and Spirit Fury is a really bad combo for Spirit, she doesn't need any anti loop perks because you will rarely be stunned with her if you use her power effectively.
-
Spine Chill started to become overrated, seriously. Everything you listed beside countering Anal Beads Spirit can be done with some awareness. And Anal Beads is a stupid add-on that needs a nerf/rework. Also, you can counter Spine Chill by not looking in the survivors directions. I know Spirit mains who literally never looked directly at the gens while phasing when using Anal Beads, so they can counter Spine Chill just in case. They actually grabbed people using Spine Chill with that strat.

At the end of August it should be a PTB about the new killer and in September the new killer should be released.

Flashlights also aren’t a direct counter to hag if she knows where to put traps. Iron will isn’t a direct counter since you can also hear footsteps, against Spirit you’ll need to 1- use strong windows
2- although this counter has a 50/50 chance, throw a pallet down where you think she is.
3- I bring spine chill and iron will so due to spine chill I’ll know if she is phasing to me so I can constantly double back and turn in different directions. This confuses a lot of spirit players.
Flashlights + Object of Depression is a direct counter to Hag, because no matter how good she is at putting traps, you will still find them regardless with Object.
-
Survivors DC against any single killer, and I am not overracting at all.
-
Pig's nerf due to EGC. Remove that nerf and I put her instantly above Myers ( which I think is overrated ).

Because LF has to physically be there at the basement to make it impossible to save. Trapper, on the other hand, can set traps at all windows/entry points and leave. It's impossible to get in to make the save without alerting him you are there.
As for loops, one of the more powerful setups a Trapper can get is congregating all his traps into the main structures basically making them off limits to survivors. This is something that should gradually happen over time, as he needs to place a trap, then go collect another trap, come back, etc. But if he starts with all his traps he can just trap these spots right away and then you are SOL. That area is now a no-fly zone.
It would just be way too powerful. His traps aren't like Hag's or Freddy's. They immobilize you and injure you. Stepping into a Trapper's trap is basically a hook most of the time, and disarming one is a risky move since he now knows where you are.
Trapper needs buffs, but this would be way too much. I play Trapper and I could picture what I would do if I had 10 traps in my hand at the start of the game. It would be seriously unfair.
Trapper will never be unfair, no matter how much would you buff him. Even with his both ultra rare add-ons in his kit, I still wouldn't find him unfair.
-
Because survivors will just spread out and do the other gens, while you lost a perk and a 3 gen strat. This perk can literally help survivors to not 3 gen themselves, it's a really bad perk against good survivors.
-

well, its literally a 2x BP offering when you hook everyone once.
you dont need to buy leatherface, you can also wait for it to appear in the shrine of secrets.
however, i would definitely say its a great perk for you to choose, it really helps reducing the grind. is it worth the 5$? i would say so. gaining your future BPs twice as fast is just really, REALLY good.
BBQ is almost never in the Shrine, so I wouldn't wait for it there.
-
Healing yourself faster than healing others with Self Care + Botany Knowledge would be ridiculous and the matches would still go as fast as usually. Plus, the people who would want to gen rush into Adrenawin could still do that tactic even after Self Care buff.
-
@thesuicidefox said:
The problem with this is that it allows Trapper to spam his traps in a tiny area very easily. So if you get put in basement, you are effectively SOL. He can also shut down a lot of strong loops, so any smart Trapper will likely just place them all over the main structures. At the start of the game that's a little nuts.
Trapper does need buffs but not this. These would make a huge difference for him without being too strong.
- Let him carry 2 traps at base.
- Let him reset traps without picking them up.
- Stop spawning traps far out on the edges of the map.
- Always have a trap visible in his hand so survivors don't know you have none.

If you are put in the basement against Cannibal, then you are dead, but you don't see someone saying Cannibal is too strong because of that. Also, what is nuts at placing traps on strong loops ? These traps 100% will be disarmed because you placed them in obvious spots. Hag can spam traps in a very tiny area and on strong loops at the start of the match which can't be disarmed without a flashlight and yet you don't say how OP she is because of that.
-
Depending on the killer you play and especially survivors skill level. But if you play against good survivors, even Ruin doesn't do much.

OMG That add-on adds 15 seconds to a key, repet, 15 seconds to a f*cking key ! It's f*cking unfair man, survivors literally have wallhacks all game with that overpowered add-on on their overpowered broken key.

Does GF and Myers weaknesses outweighs their Strengths compared to Huntress and Freddy? Imo, no.
I just think they are weaker than them. Myers wastes so much time to tier up his EW3 and when he does, he gets 1 down if survivors don't screw up. You can't afford to waste so much time in a game that goes so fast. Also, his skill cap is pretty low. Ghost Face has a higher skill cap, but his power has more weaknesses ( his stalk can be canceled, long cooldown, problematic reveal mechanics, Object of Obsession ). I don't think they are bad, I just don't think they are too good.
-
Nurse is already getting add-on changes and base kit changes, while Spirit is fine besides some of her add-ons.
-
In my Tier List :
All of the low tier killers are interchangeable because I think all of them are bad 😁. Hillbilly and Hag are also interchangeable, like on certain maps ( Haddonfield, Lery's, The Game, Disturbed Ward ) Hag is definitely better.
-
I would put Trapper in D tier ( and without add-ons he deserve F tier 100% ), Plague in C tier and Myers and Ghost Face in C tier. The reason why I think Myers and Ghost Face are lower is because I find them to be inconsistent, and while they can be great, I think they have some weaknesses that hinders them back.

Adding Hindered wouldn't be a good idea honestly. It would be way too strong.
Instead when you are fully sick you should get rapid fire, Unnerving Presence-like skill checks when doing gens. This would really encourage you to cleanse, but if you are really good or really desperate you can stay sick to repair gens.
If the Hindered Status Effect would be something like 5%, it wouldn't be too strong, you could still stall her in chases, but it would be much harder. Your buff suggestion would be worthless against good survivors and yet still very annoying to verse. I mean, Doctor is weak AF, but nobody likes versing him.
-
I actually always throught that the Hindered Status Effect applied on broken survivors would make Plague much better and that was one of your throughts as well for her ...
-
@Gardenia said:

But that's a viable way to get Survivors. I don't see anything wrong with that, it's just smart use of corruption I don't see why not... And she still has to walk to where ever that one pool is to use it
But then her only counter play would be to always cleanse and Corrupt Purge would become her main power. Also, the concept "survivors decide if they become weaker or if Plague becomes stronger" would be ruined, because the first variant wouldn't be a viable one.
-
@Gardenia said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/611846#Comment_611846
Actually, regarding 5 with her starting with a pool of corrupt Purge it doesn't affect the cleansing or no cleansing scenario because idk if you know but hitting Survivors with corrupt Purge doesn't infect them, it only damages them regularly. So they still have a choice to cleanse or not.
Regarding 3: one of the cooldowns need to be reduced, whether it's before her charge when she slows down, or after she finishes the vomit imo.
No, because Plague can wait untill she maakes everyone broken and then use her Corrupt fountain and unless people start to cleanse ( and thus giving her more Corrupt ), they are one shot against her range attack. Also, if Plague has Vile Emetic and Black Incense on top of that, it's GG unless people start to cleanse before she gets eveyone broken.
-
I don't agree with 3 and 5. Her cooldown is fine, most of the time survivors can make it to a pallet because she slows down 3 times to puke once, so you shouldn't touch it. Also, starting with a Pool of Devotion already corrupted would force survivors to cleanse every match, her entire concept of "you decide to be weaker or you decide to make her stronger" would be ruined.
Hindered Status was a idea I had for her and I guess more charge time is fine if her effectiveness is increased by default.

No they don't. They just hide and wait out the Corrupt Purge. Yes, sometimes it sets off a cleansing spree, but good survivors won't get rattled.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/611655#Comment_611655
You're still on a timer as a killer relative to gen repairs. You still potentially need 12 hooks in 4-5 minutes. Non-potatoes can still loop her long enough for gens to get done.
Tell me, how they can hide when they puking constantly and even Iron Will can't counter the noises they made while puking ? If the killer can't find them in this situation, that's on the killer, not on the survivors. If you really can't find them, just throw there Black Incense, you should be able to find them even with your poor tracking skills.
-
Just bring Apples as Plague and people will start to cleanse, because you actually will get Corrupt Purge no matter what they do. Remember, use your Apples just after all survivors are broken.
-
Spirit isn't a "him" to begin with.
Also, a lot of people complain and DC against Spirit, so you are not the only one.
You can counter Spirit even without perks, but that depends on a lot of things, like your skill and her skill level and even luck sometimes.
I suggest you to take Iron Will, so you can actually have a chance against her even when you are injured, Spine Chill is also good, but Iron Will is more needed. Also, IW is a decent perk against any killer not named Plague.
Also, some of her add-ons combo are pretty opressive, like Wakizashi Saya + Bloody Hair Brooch, she can guarantee free hits with these at almost any loop and no skill is needed whatsoever.

First he was pushing her the wrong way around the loop.
Then when the window finally closed he lost her.
He definitely could have gotten her. It's BS, like I keep telling you, and he was in a bad spot where he basically had to chase. But at the end of the day he could have caught her sooner if he went the right way and didn't lose her. This is also something specific to Huntress because unlike other "slow" killers she actually has no way to catch up. Any 115 killer would have been able to brute force the loop in any direction. Spirit and Nurse could catch up easy. Hag could set traps. Huntress is the only one where this loop would work as it did.
Again, it doesn't mean they shouldn't fix it. But until they do, you have to just accept it and learn to play around it, which he totally could have.
Well, he isn't a Huntress main, so he isn't used to this #########. He needed some time to realise how to push her on that loop and then he was so stressed, that's probably why he lost her at some time. But that Kate also made some mistakes at the end and that's how she got downed. Even if he would played the most optimal way, the other survivor would still had enough time to finish the last gen, he was very lucky that the last guy was literally camping the hatch all this time.
Also, I already said in the title "Fix maps for Huntress" because this is mostly a Huntress issue, but that building is also pretty BS for 115% killers.
