Not gonna lie, he just looped it wrong. Not a single red glow mindgame. I could have hitted Kate much earlier. Especially with Huntress using my hatches

Red glow mind game ? On a building where survivors can see the killer through glass ? I think that even Scott Jund and Umbra, 2000 hours Huntress mains, who call these type of buildings infinites for Huntress, should "gi gud" with the red glove mind game.

Almost every autohacen map has a huntress infinite/semi infinite that is structural.

Another one is Rancid Abaitour (Butchered Spelling) although I'm not talking just about the god window in that map.

Fractured Cowshed, Torment Creek, Grim Pantry and Haddonfield also have infinites/semi finites for Huntress and usually really strong loops even for other killers.

Are y'all talking about Groaning Store House?

If so, the entire center needs a huge nerf in my opinion. My friend @Masantonio was able to loop a Ghostface for 5 generators with Ruin active for a portion of the chase. Even I was able to loop a killer for 3 generators, but luckily for the killer, he was close enough to activate Bloodlust.

Sure, the killer should've left, but survivors shouldn't be untouchable for that long. :(

Yes, I talk about that map. Sometimes, the God window is closed, but when it's open, the map becomes very survivor sided.

But that's just a chase you don't take. Granted the circumstances kinda force him to, he could have just left and looked for the guy that was hiding. If the gen in that building was done what else would Kate do? If she goes to do a gen somewhere else then he could catch her.

I would have just left her and looked for the other guy, then closed hatch. At that point running that loop is pointless.

Again I agree with you that it shouldn't be that way, but it is that way right now so taking that chase was just a bad decision.

Also, the gen in the building wasn't done and it was the last gen. If he would've left the chase, the survivor could've easily finish it.

  • He is not OP because he is still just a loopable M1 killer.

    @Marcus

In my games I have seen less Ruin being used. It is not much less, but usually I had only 1 or maybe 2 games without Ruin in the evening, now it is a little bit more, but sitll not much.

Still the most used Killer Perk, but I see more PGTW instead of Ruin lately (but often enough both are used).

I also saw a little bit less Ruin these days, but again, every killer without Ruin or uses NOED or is a Nurse with a slugging build in my experience.

I love your outfit!😍😂 Who knows, we could’ve matched together at some point.

Well, the aura from I'm All Ears takes 6 seconds, so she very probably will see you before or after she used her power.

  • People call Ruin bad, but literally 90% of the red ranks killers use Ruin every match.

The only time I see a killer not using Ruin is when :

    1 They have NOED.

2 They play Nurse with Infectious Fright and slug everyone with 4 gens left.

    Otherwise, I always see Ruin.

I swapped poised for spine chill and Q&Q for lithe. I haven’t seen a Spirit since putting it on, they must be the ones dodging me! >:v

You know that every Spirit main who sees this can just bring Stridor and I'm All Ears in a possibly match with you, so 3 of your perks are already countered ?

  • Surveillance for killers, especially on stealth and high mobility killers.

Distortion and Poised are somewhat underrated, like Distortion will help you if you are too lazy to counter BBQ and you can do a lot of interesting plays with Poised, because it can proc during chases.

  • @Steve0333 said:

If you are going to play huntress you have to get good with throwing hatchets. Trying to m1 her won't work because of her slow speed. If you spend your time trying to catch up to survivors to hit them with your base weapon, you are playing her wrong. Watch any good huntress and you will see that they rely heavily on hatchet throwing to win. They rarely use her base weapon.

I just don't believe that in 2 or 3 minutes (which are already a big mistake by the huntress) there wasn't a single chance to aim at the window at least, since the obstacles blocking it are waist high.

There really wasn't. He never had line of sight to that survivor or in the rares cases when he had, the survivor already vaulted the window. When he finally had line of sight with that survivor ( but that just after she abandoned the window and got to the pallet ) he could downed her with a hatchet.

the windows dont block if the survivor is not in a chase.

@Marcus still though, huntress is a 110% mms killer, she should have been able to catch up at some point.

He was looped for 3 minutes straight up, also, this even isn't a new map, we talking about MacMillan Estate here.

  • @YaiPa said:

Well, the huntress should have simply left the loop, i mean 3 minutes of nothing is at least 3 gens lost. On the other side, they should probably make entity blocker work when in killer tr, rather than in a chase, and i agree that the newer maps are the reason why huntress fell down in the tier list.

Again, 2 survivors were killed, the last one was hiding, how he could've break the chase without Kate starting to do and finish the last gen ? My point is that, there should've been places where survivors are completely safe from the killer.

  • @Ember_Hunter said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/609409#Comment_609409

I have caught survivors by mind gaming, and if the Huntress never tried to change paths, it would be her fault to follow the infinite.

He tried to change the paths, I already said in my post. It didn't work and he needed Kate to messes up at some point to get her.

  • @Condorloco_26 said:

That loop sucks, certainly. I'm not approving its existence.

But the Huntress there should've either:

Broken chase and go for someone else, or

    I don't know, maybe, throw a hatchet??

2 survivors were already killed and the last one was hiding and didn't do any gens. And how you throw a hatchet when you even can't get line of sight and thus getting into a chase with that survivor, care to explain ?

  • @thesuicidefox said:

A good Huntress would know to just not take that chase. Catch them away from the storehouse.

Don't get me wrong, I agree that some maps still need fixing, but that's like a bad killer play.

Dude, he literally killed 2 survivors already. The third survivor was hiding and didn't do any gen, while Kate was the only one he find and I think she was his last BBQ stack. The killer should never leave a chase just because the suvivor succeed to reach a certain building. This loop needs fixes, like many others.

  • @Ember_Hunter said:

The window wasn't blocked? That's a bug it seems.

The window wasn't blocked because he couldn't get into a chase with her, because of Huntresses slow speed.

  • You need to find your obsession quickly and your obsession also needs to be together with someone else. If your obsession is good at hiding or if survivors don't stay too close together, your build won't work.

"How can Spirit be aids for you when you were used to main old Legion?"

Old Legion was AIDS because Frenzy could down. Unfortunately for your argument, I never used Frenzy to down. I took the high road and went full 110 M1 Killer against injured Survivors.

    "Walking remove footsteps sounds, "

    False.

"breathing is pretty hard to hear unless you have something like Stridor"

    Also false.

"you should never fall for her standing still mind games."

This much I can agree with. It's one of the very few tricks Spirit has that isn't a total guessing game. But even then, Spirits can just fake a standing still mindgame, watch how you react to it, and then phase accordingly. It's not hard. She'll know exactly where you are because she watched you go there, so there is nothing you can do.

How do you hear footsteps if survivors don't run ? And some survivors like Ace have a very silent breath. Plus you can always break LOS to counter her faking phasing and most maps have enough LOS. And also, you can gain distance on her if she's faking her phasing too much.

I’m just gonna drop in real quick and say, I agree with Mither, Spirit is not this all mighty skillful being. Generally in your post you act like you are the all knowledge, you’re always saying a good X doesn’t run Y as though Y would define X as good or bad.

@Topic: Ghostface is good in the right hands (not me).

I agree that Spirit isn't incredibly hard to play, but I don't agree she is brain dead easy. It's not like you can pick her and down every survivor you want with her.

  • @No_Mither_No_Problem said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/608843#Comment_608843

First of all, saying you need skill to "catch a Survivor like you" makes you sound like an egotistical jackass. Just saying.

Second of all, until tracking the audible footsteps and the uninjured breathing (which IW doesn't remove when injured) of Survivors or seeing exactly where they run because of the disturbances they leave becomes difficult, I will continue to say that Spirit takes no skill and is a guessing game at best. She's the only Killer where I can literally mindgame the Survivor by stopping to scratch my nose—which I have in fact done before.

Sorry for the rant; Spirit is my most utterly detested Killer. She's such AIDS and I wish she was never added.

How can Spirit be aids for you when you were used to main old Legion ? Walking remove footsteps sounds, breathing is pretty hard to hear unless you have something like Stridor which will probably hurt you against survivors without Iron Will and you should never fall for her standing still mind games. Just because you can't loop her like other M1 killers, that doesn't mean she is brain dead easy.

Even if I agree she doesn't take as much skill as some people make it out to be. Killers like Huntress and Hag take far more skill than Spirit. Oh and there are some add-ons which considerably make Spirit more easy to play ( Anal Beads, Mother Daughter Ring, Bloody Hair Brooch, Wakizashi Saya ), but without these you really can't messes up as Spirit too much.

  • @Jago said:

"It doesn't cuck Nurse or Spirit."

Nurse is a given, and it cucks Spirit because you can see when she's phasing, but she can't see you while phasing, so if you think she's phasing towards you, just walk to another location.

"And other killers don't have their entire power destroyed by this perk, like Ghost Face."

You can see exactly what the Killer is doing and where they're doing it at practically all times, giving you more awareness and knowledge of the Killer's plans than any other mechanic in the entire game. Killers don't have their powers destroyed by Object; the Killers themselves are destroyed. Not having a stealth power doesn't change that in any way.

You can't see where she's phasing, so you can just assume, never be sure. Also, you already have the phasing sound, so you don't need Object to know when she's phasing towards you. Object only cucks Anal Beads, but that is fair, because Anal Beads are already a stupid add-on, but Spirit can deal with it otherwise.

I already know how strong Object is against all killers not Nurse or Spirit. My point is : is stronger against stealth killers like Ghost Face than against other M1 killers.

  • @AChaoticKiller said:

As someone who plays her in high rank i can tell you that the best builds is anything that stalls the game; mainly ruin, thano, and pgtw all at the same time. In low rank you can use anything since people will use the fountains but generaly rank 1 people stay broken. If you go against these people let them get gens near big loops like shack, cow tree, and coal towers window loop. Without corrupt purge these loops waste too much time.

Some big maps can hurt her unless its a farm map, corn is easy to see through when they are sick and often results in fast downs. If you get corrupt purge anyone found is a dead man. In general if you get it than its very easy to down or injure anyone you see and it causes others to cleanse themselfs. Because of this the apple addons can be useful for starting up a cleancing party which often stalls the game or outright wins it. Some groups will however refuse to cleance which is why pgtw and thano are really good perks for her in order to slow the game and eventually win.

Tips i can provide is to try to prevent groups who are cleance happy from using all the fountains as it resets them which allows them to cleance too far from the gens for you to collect (this happens during the last 2 gens sometimes) and if you get 3 or more fountains keep using until you run out so they dont go to waste. The charge speed and infection increase by vial are the best but together causes people to not cleance so its best to use one with an apple or another addon. If someone is doing a loop that has a tall wall and you have corrupt purge sometimes its better to go for a regular hit. Lastly if you find hatch and close it just infect the gate switches and wait at the one that will become uninfected first, reinfect, than switch to the other gate. Generaly people cleance during or before egc so all you have to do is wait for them to infect themselfs and kill them.

Sorry for long post im tired and had nothing better to do. Need to stay awake :d

People who are broken can't reliably hide because they do a lot of sounds and even Iron Will doesn't counter that. And when you get Corrupt Purge, people who are broken start to cleanse, so they don't get 1 shot with Corrupt Purge.

  • People started to realise that some of her add-ons combo ( Black Incense + Apple for example ) are actually really strong and really fun to use ( playing with literally wallhack all game must be pretty fun ).

  • @No_Mither_No_Problem said:

Object is a sleeper meta Perk that cucks every single Killer in the game. Your point?

It doesn't cuck Nurse kr Spirit. And other killers don't have their entire power destroyed by this perk, like Ghost Face.

  • @No_Mither_No_Problem said:

He's the second best M1 Killer in the game. Don't listen to anyone who says he's weak; anyone who thinks he can't be stealthy just haven't learned that his sneaking actually has a skill cap. Not only does he have the ability to quickly put you on a 1-hit down, but he's also the best ambush Killer in the entire game and his lack of a red stain is an amazing mindgame tool—hell, even when he's busted out of his stealth, his crouch has very useful mindgame utility.

Anyone who says he's better than Myers is utterly kidding themselves. Myers has an okay snowball and faster vaults. Faceghost has mindgames, faster stalking, 115% speed at the start of the match, better consistency, a lean button, and a crouch button. He's better than Myers in almost every aspect.

"Anyone who says he's better than Myers is utterly kidding themselves".

I think you shot yourself in the foot in that sentence, LOL.

Also, I saw more people running Object of Obsession nowadays. Just yesterday I saw 3 solo survivors running OoO against a poor Wraith. Ghost Face doesn't make a exception, he gets cucked pretty hard by that perk.

  • He is mid tier. He has a skill cap and can do work, but he is really weak against SWF teams, especially the ones with Object of Obsession, that perk makes Ghost Face completely useless. Also, his cooldown is really long, playing Ghost Face without cooldown add-ons is pretty painful, so I suggest to use these, you really need them. I don't think he is better than Myers, I actually don't think he is better even than Pig and Pig was nerfed 2 times already, so that says everything.

About his perks : Thrilling Tremors is decent, especially on killers like Freddy or Prayer Beads Spirit. I'm All Ears is only really worth using on Nurse and maybe Spirit and Huntress as well. And Furtive Chase is completely garbage.

  • You shouldn't be able to find keys in chests and also opening the hatch with a key should take 5 seconds, so you can't open the hatch in front of the killer without him being able to do anything.

  • I would reduce DS stun time to 3 seconds and make it so if you are grabbed from a gen or locker, you don't get the skill check from DS.

I think that would make DS more fair and not as abusable as it is now.

The only map with so many locckers I can think of right now is Temple of Purgation.

Plus, just extra blinks increase your fatigue, your fatigue time with 1 blink is 2 seconds and with 2 is 2,5 seconds.

  • At least nobody complains about Spirit now 😄😄😄.

  • Dude, this is Omega Blink ( a combo known to be broken ), most of these blinks wouldn't been hits without these add-ons.

Also, not every killer needs to be loopable for 5 gens on Disturbed Ward.

  • 1 Freddy is not top tier.

2 Nurse is fine without add-ons.

3 Range and extra blinks add-ons are too strong, but devs already said they will rework them soon.

I am just proving that Omegablink is beyond OP and that it DEFINITELY needs a nerf.

Btw, just to clarify - the footage is from last season, where I played in ranks 1-2 mainly. I didn't even use Omegablink on my rank 16 to 1 run, because I thought it would be too easy. I wasn't able to record my run, because OBS randomly caused my PC to freeze for a few seconds, which would lag out all the survivors.

    @Marcus

That she is broken with certain Add-Ons does not mean that she is balanced without Add-Ons.

Yeah, you proved that Omega Blink is OP ( and everyone knows that already ), but you didn't prove Nurse herself to be OP.

  • Yes, it is.

This video has all values related to Spirit's power and here you can see that her default charge time is 1,5 seconds ( and the guy from the video tested this ) : https://youtu.be/NWZIq4SVgos.

This video also has all values for Spirit's add-ons, so if you want and have time, you can calculate with what add-ons she gains the more distance.

  • You only played her with Omega Blink add-ons. People already said : she is balanced without add-ons and only broken with certain add-ons. Your video just prove their point.

In both the current and past version of Legion he wouldn't be even close to hitting both Survivors in my Situation.

Old Legion would be 7.94500 meters short from the 2nd survivor and Current Legion would be 10 meters short.

Being able to hit these survivors anyways despite a decent initial distance (5 meters is more than you would give credit for) is excellent chain hitting capability's. No other Killer comes anywhere close to damaging Survivors that quickly and unless your name is Sally or Max, Killers don't tend to cover ground as quickly as you would expect even when using their powers.

Even Spirit who's power is insanely fast only gains about 7 meters depending on addons. (2 second activation time so +8 initial distance, 7.04-4=3.04, 3.04*5= 15.2, 15.2-8=7.2)

This is only a little bit below that for the first hit and more than double that for any additional hits.

Spirit's charge time without add-ons is 1,5 seconds, not 2.

  • Your point being ?

I still see Freddy with Dream Snares tho.

  • Because he is a very weak killer in high ranks ? Because he is very buggy ? Because even if his power would be a good one ( which is not ), he would still be boring to play, because his power is too basic ?
