Haddonfield has literal infinities for ALL killers except Nurse and Spirit.
Hawkins is a congested indoor map. Yeah...it’s bad for Huntress.
They don’t DC on The Game because it’s bad for Huntress but because it is a very boring map. It’s pallet kicking simulator.
I have never seen either one DC on Coldwind Farm.
I’m not gonna deny the fact that she can get looped on certain maps and tiles. She can feel powerless at times.
She did get a slight buff though because she now had a directional lullaby.
Huntress at her very strongest is easily better than Freddy. Freddy has more consistency though. Huntress has flaws but a good Huntress is scary and her at her strongest has more potential than Freddy does IMO. Agree to disagree on that.
However I suck at Huntress and I do not main either Huntress or Freddy. I find Freddy a bit boring and I do not like the layout of the dream world.
I said they were willing to DC on these maps, not that they DC. I heard Scott a lot of times saying that he would DC on "insert map" if he wouldn't do it so many times already and I saw Umbra completely getting butchered on Coldwind Farm and saying "this was Torment Creek bro, what did you expect".
I didn't see a single Freddy DCing on The Game because it was an "unfun map".
And you don't understand my point. It doesn't matter that Huntress is better at her very strongest when she can get to that point only on a very few maps, while Freddy and even Plague and Demogorgon are much more consistent than her. She relies too much on maps RNG and on maps offerings from both sides and the simple fact that 2000 hours mains Huntresses are gonna DC on certain maps, because of how trash she is on them, show that she is just too inconsistent to be worth of top 5 anymore, especially when they keep adding bad maps for her. Literally every map released after Father's Campbell is a garbage one for Huntress.

So are we just gonna pretend that a GOOD Huntress doesn’t exist? Players like Umbra and Scott can do well on pretty much any map as Huntress.
Yeah she’s got A LOT of bad maps for her, almost as if the devs just forget about Huntress.
Her power is super strong in the right hands and most experienced Huntress players know what they can and cannot throw over.
I still don’t think Freddy is better than a good Huntress player.
Scott and Umbra, the ones who constantly DC on maps like Haddonfield, The Game, Lery's, possible even Hawkins now and who are willing to DC even on maps like Coldwind Farm, Family Residence or Mount Ormond. I don't care about how strong her power is when I can literally loop her for whole minutes on certain buildings like Wretched Shop or Groaning Storehouse. A killer which literally isn't allowed to play on certain maps isn't top 5 IMO.
-
Freddy is really good right now.
Gen teleport is very good and synergy with a lot of perks.
Snares are a little bit overrated, but they can still do a lot of work for you.
Pallets seems to be easy to counter, but they also can do work.
His non directional Lullaby makes him pretty stealthy and you can get free hits on sleeping survivors because of it.
Counter to BT added to his base kit.
So probably 5th place after Nurse/Spirit/Hag/Hillbilly ( however, I think Plague or Demogorgon might be better than him, but I am not sure yet )

He is between 6-8 for me. I feel as though the top 5 are undeniable. Plague, Demo, and Freddy are interchangeable to me. I just have more experience with Plague so I put her above the other two :/
Huntress undeniably top 5 ? She gets rekt by 80% of the maps. Good survivors can easily turn her in a 110% speed killer without a power on anything but Blood Lodge.

@Blueberry said:
You forgot Spine Chill and Premonition which are both crazy good against her and still really good against all killers.
Also, Fixated is really good, better for jukes than people give it credit for. Urban Evasion as well.
You can juke her pretty hard with fake vaulting as well, IE fast vault over and then immediately slow vault back. Works every time.
I tried to fast vault a window and then slow vault it back but it didn't work. And no, that Spirit didn't have line of sight on me.
-
Poised, Dark Sense, new Detective's Hunch and DS. Maybe a map as well for this build.
-
That's why devs didn't nerf Pig this patch ... because they were too busy to nerf Myers 😂.

On Lery’s? (Because you’re likely to use that offering for that build)
Yes, Myers breath is very loud and you can still loop him on that map. I saw plenty of survivors escaping against Scratched Mirror Myers on Lery's, idk why you think it's uncounterable, it's actually a very weak build against decent survivors.
-
The counter is using your eyes and ears to loop a 105% speed killer.
-
Do you plan to rework only Billy's add-ons or do you plan a "slight tweak" to his base kit too ?
-
Thana punishes survivors who don't heal, Sloppy is useless against them.
-
Yeah, Wakizashi is very powerful, especially when combined with Bloody Hair Brooch. People don't complain about this add-on because at least they don't get grabbed from gens when Spirit is using it 😁.

@theArashi said:
They described it in a most confusing way.
There is a recharge on blinks by if you blink twice and swing you need to only wait about a second until you have both blinks back after your fatigue.
They need to fix some broken stuff like that speed addons that lags your game.
That is confirmed a bug. Nurse's recharge time should start only at the start of the fatigue.
-
Spirit definitely has better add-ons than Nurse now. But is she better than her overall ? Not sure yet.
-
@liarcy said:
Oh yeah a 3.5 second cooldown will definitely drop nurse to below spirit
People are overreacting honestly we have seen worse than that and it turned out ok
Also if you are wondering why it’s 3.5 cool down is because it starts at fatigue and fatigue is 2.5 seconds so is walking around for 3.5 seconds trying to figure where the survivor went is that harsh??
also it could be even less if the 2nd blink cool down kept going while charging your teleport from first blink I’m just not sure if that’s the case otherwise it’s not that big of a nerf tbh
The recharge time stops while she is charging her blink. If she charges too early, she remains only with 1 blink.

Shouldnt you be talking about spirit before targeting hillbilly?
Did you read my post ? Because I said I wouldn't agree with such change.
-
Peanits already said that Undetectable shouldn't counter Spine Chill, because it isn't an aura reading perk. So stop saying that Spine Chill is worthless now.

She really is easy mode. I played as spirit for like 10 matches in a row at red ranks recently, only one person escaped. Totally balanced btw.
This doesn't prove anything. I can say that Noob3 escaped in 50 matches in a row, so that shows how OP survivors are.
-
@gantes said:
The only people who'll stop playing Nurse are the ones who weren't very good at her to begin with.
She'll still be #1. The Nurse players simply won't afford to make as many mistakes as it's currently possible (which is A LOT). No other killer can currently make half the mistakes you can make as Nurse and still win, this will slightly bring her in line a bit.
You are joking, right ? I saw Nurses losing after doing like 2-3 mistakes.
-
@sorrowen said:
I mean she is still S tier but other killers compete for that spot now like huntress you can thread the needle more now.
Huntress gets rekt by map design too much to even be considered as an S tier contender.
-
Overall :
3+ blinks aren't a thing anymore. 3 blinks also have a huge downside.
Omega Blink is still a thing, but it has a real downside now and it's probably not worth running over recharge time add-ons.
Base kit Nurse's changes might drop her from S tier to A tier. Idk if she will still be the best.
Object of Obsession doesn't kill stealth killers anymore after Undetectable was added onto stealth killers.
Medkits were buffed to promote more altruistic plays with them.
Instant Heals got nerfed, but they are still very useful, especially the Styptic Agent which is like your personal BT now.
-
I think people confuses red ranks with very optimal survivors, that's why Nurse and Spirit are considered "the only 2 viable red rank killers". But in my experience, low or mid tier killers still get rekt pretty easily in red ranks.
-
They reworked only one map so far, Badham Preschool. Devs seem to be really slow with maps reworks and there are still huge maps like Rotten Fields, both Red Forest, Mount Ormond and Family Residence which will hurt the new Nurse much more than they did before.
-
@Viracocha72 said:
As a new player and someone who just started maining Ghostface and absolutely loving him, can someone explain to me what this means?
Aura perks can't reveal him now when he is in his stealth mode.
-
She wasn't overnerfed, but idk if she's worth of S tier anymore, especially without add-ons. She seems much closer to A tier killers now. And her add-ons are pretty much the same as before : most of them are garbage or for memes and just a few of them are actually worth running. It seems like Spirit has better add-ons than her now, probably even Billy ...
-
So she needs a green and yellow add-on and she still isn't as strong as old base kit Nurse.
-
This PTB is far from worthless, they finally fixed some broken add-ons ( Omega Blink, 3+ blinks, Instant Heals) and they added Undetectable status effect onto stealth killers, so Object of Obsession doesn't destroy them anymore.
-
New Nurse with add-ons < old Nurse without add-ons.
The fact that you really think Leatherface should be nerfed because he has an instant down makes me think you are not worth arguing.
-
@SeducedByDaemonette said:
Billy already has one . Don't be drama queen .
I am not.

@gantes said:
Now that new Freddy and Demogorgon are in the game, you have no excuse to need Nurse or Spirit to do well at red ranks,
Hell, you didn't even have an excuse before. Billy exists. Hag exists. Huntress exists. There are quite a few killers who can perform at red ranks and honestly, if you need Nurse or Spirit to do so, you're either not as good as you think you are or you just want 4ks with little to no effort.
Yes, because it's enough to just pick Nurse or Spirit and you can already 4k in every of your games, what I can tell.
-
You need to hook all 4 survivors before being able to mori someone. And also you don't depip anymore if you mori everyone.

what about demogorgon though? his gauge is for his map pressure, not his looping.
I forgot about him 😁.

Question: Does Hillbilly have a counters?
Pallets and windows are the most common one. You want more ?
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Yeah, because Billy's add-ons are totally fine. /s
Some of them literally boost 3 or 4 things with no disadvantages and aren't even ultra rare.
If Billy's base kit is what people say are balanced, and then add-ons make him even stronger in every single way with no downsides at all, then how are the add-ons also fine?
I was literally talking about his base kit, never complaining about his add-ons potentially getting nerfed.
-
People have every right to complain about things, after all, for this we have this forum. You can't force them just not to.
-
Spirit didn't get nerfed ... yet.
Why people even complain about Freddy ? It's really that hard to put pallets down slightly quicker to counter his Snares ? But some people call even Plag OP, so what can I expect ...
-
Most of her add-ons are still useless with just a few of them being actually decent and because of her base kit changes, she lost a lot of mobility and probably even chase potential. I don't think she is worth of S tier anymore, the A tier killers seems much closer to her now, they might be even better than her now, but we will see in the PTB.
-
You forgot her purple add-on that literally makes her a M1 115% speed killer for 60 seconds after hitting a survivor with her power. Like she even doesn't get BP from that add-on.
-
@White_Owl said:
I don't think so. If you notice killers with power guages are those whose power can directly counter looping, but Billy's chainsaw doesn't. Imo it's more plausible a nerf to insta-chainsaw addons since they reduce a lot survivor's counterplay.
Ghost Face has a power gauge, but his power doesn't counter looping. He can do some mind games with it, but it's very far away from countering loops.
-
She needs a green and a yellow add-on to be almost, just almost, as good as pre nerf base kit Nurse, which wasn't broken to be begin with. Her both ultra rares will make her very loopable around jungle gyms, shack and also she won't be able to catch survivors around certain buildings like Grim Pantry or Groaning Storehouse with these 2 ultra rares equipped because she won't be able to get line of sight on them due to her slow speed. Huntress already gets looped incredibly around these buildings, and she is 110% speed ...

But if you stack them you have 2 blinks and 4.4 movement speed
So you can get looped as a 110% speed killer because you can't blink through loops anymore.

It's 3.5 seconds where the nurse can run after them, "a considerable distance" is half a meter if they both run in the same direction.
Survivors can gain a lot of distance when she is fatigued, walking and charging up her blink. Imagine you miss your second blink on a survivor with Dead Hard. You won't catch him anymore ...
-
Carefully, Hag might become the next target for survivors mains if she's become too popular. Right now she is safe because not that many people play her, let alone playing her optimally.
-
@GrootDude said:

You recover while fatigued so after fatigue you wait 3.5 seconds.
You know that in this time, survivors can put a considerably distance between them and Nurse with their superior movement speed ? She won't be able to catch up to them. And her map pressure ... might not be even a thing now.

You are right about that... Billy is the only killer not add on dependent. (Trust me, spirit mostly is. Never see spirits without them)
Almost every Billy spam with charge time add-ons in red ranks. The ones that don't won't get any chainsaw unless the survivors messed up badly.
-
I expect Billy to get a cooldown too when devs will be looking at him ...
-
Spirit used to be "the worst killer in the game" in her PTB. Now people consider her the best after Nurse's nerfs. I can't even be too mad about Nurse's changes because of that.
-
Myers is mid tier. Very far away from an actually pay to win killer.
-
She is still loopable, her Corrupt Purge can still be avoided or removed by a pallet stun and she needs add-ons to get her Corrupt Purge against a no cleansing team. She is strong, but not uncounterable or in need of nerfs. Survivors are just salty because Adrenaline and Instant Heals are countered by her power, same with Freddy which counters BT.
-
Yeah, both are completely garbage and need big buffs or reworks.
