Yes we do take feedback from the forum...which is why we have special sub sections for this.
Developers is a broad spectrum term - most people actually mean game designers, and no they do not come to this forum within their work (we do have some pop in on their own time however), but it's the community teams' responsibility to take feedback to the relevant teams.
QA are also here, on the Bug Report section - they respond there when more information is needed but in general they check bug reports etc.

yeah a few people I know have gone back to Win 10 since they did the supposed fix for the issue at the end of October, as they're still getting decreased performance and stuttering/fps drops.
I'm holding off updating for now because of it (I did update, then reinstalled Win 10 from scratch after issues), so waiting until completely sure as I don't want to lose a weekend to it again lol.

Nah, I haven't. Actually that would make more sense, I don't get why they didn't just do a hard reset when they updated though, especially if they are legally forced to remove it by a certain time.
Now I'm debating buying stuff while I still can...
I don't think the sale would actually go through, not 100% certain though tbh. My understanding of the situation is that they wouldn't be purchasable.

Because new players will never experience playing as them, and as the game is growing that's going to be a large chunk of the player base in the future - older players stop playing at some point then it's the newer players that are left, so there'll be less and less times to see these characters.

Honestly, the map wasn't all that good
Whilst we each have our personal opinion on the map, it's still sad when something is removed. And some people did like the map.

If you have a problem uploading the video file to the website, it's best to upload it to YouTube and then put the link on the form.

I'll miss the rats in the upstairs room - I think it was one of the first maps to have something like that put into it.
I'll also miss the noise of the map, this is gonna sound weird, but I really enjoy the sounds in that map - yes I know that's weird, don't judge me!

There are still issues with Ryzen CPU's and Windows 11 in games, which is the reason I've not updated to Win 11 yet.

Whilst yes that's true, that it's only effectively the map that we won't see again - it's also sad because it means that new players won't be able to play as Demo - which is why to many of us, it feels as if Demo is going to.

ahh that was something that we did specially for Cheers, who was a beloved member of the forum who sadly lost their life. It was done by us as a mark of respect.

It's in the process of being reworked which is why there's not much happening there right now, there's a few changes that I'm intending to implement and with the new things that I have planned (which will take some months to implement sadly), the programme will be more viable to sustain.

I think it's sad for all the people in the future that they won't get to experience it in the way we have, whilst I'm not the biggest fan in the world of the Hawkins map, I'm still gonna be pretty sad to see it go :(

You should only get the penalty if you leave the game by yourself, that would resolve a lot of problems
The problem with that is that it's easily abused - it's incredibly easy to just disconnect your internet in that case.
The DC penalty has to punish all disconnects because of the very fact it's easy to manipulate. This is also the reason that it's kept at such a low amount initially, so if you are thrown out for Steam Maintenance for example, by the time Steam is back up the penalty is already over.

Dbd IS unplayable on my account on my multiple different accounts, I have done everything there is to do other than a factory reset on my PS4. And the game doesn't work. What other explanation is there?
That's not a DDOS attack. Denial of Service attacks take out your router, you would be able to do nothing on your internet effectively. This is a technical issue. If you still require assistance, please post in the Tech sub forum.

Support will respond, just unfortunately they are inundated with tickets the present time. But they will get to everything, it just might involve a longer waiting time than normal I'm afraid.

No, you keep the Stranger Things items that you purchased, you are not losing anything. Only the map is being removed from the game - and a map is free for all to play whether you own the Stranger Things content or not. Whilst the characters and cosmetics are being removed from the store, they are not being removed from within the game if you already own them.

Not really, I get banned from matchmaking all the freaking time, and I have never cheated or disconnected, but boy oh boy do I get the time out sit in the corner for two day bans. DBD constantly punishes the innocent.
DC bans are an automatic ban when you disconnect, something completely different than ban that are being discussed in this topic.

All I can tell you is that our team of ACM's are very experienced and know what they're looking for and are very good at this. Nobody is banned without evidence and without being 100% certain of that evidence.

Do you understand what we are saying? Even with video evidence it is impossible to tell who the hacker is. Random people are getting insta-healing from range, without being touched by hackers. As in the person who is NOT cheating is getting insta healed from the other side of the map, by the hacker. How is video evidence going to proof who is the hacker? This will get innocent people banned.
the ISSUE is the awful anti cheat software. Just updating it obviously does not help as one day later the cheats are updated too.
Innocent people do not get banned.
Our Team of ACM's are very well versed in how to deal with hacks/cheats and what to look for.

First of all, nobody is banned on reports alone, evidence is always required. If you were not actively taking part in the cheating in the game - you have nothing to worry about. Video evidence is required in cases like this and that would show the actual situation. Our team of ACM's knows exactly what to look out for, and are used to dealing with things like this.
Our Easy Anti Cheat is also constantly being updated to remove cheats like this and people are banned (contrary to popular belief), it's unfortunately a never ending circle however, because people constantly update their cheats and bypass the system, then the EAC is updated again for that, and then over and over.

We've said time and time again that representation is important to us - it's something we're working on implementing into the game, and we're working with GaymerX to do this in a non stereotypical and natural way.
If you feel that you don't require representation, great - but it's not for you to say what other people want or need in the game they play. Hence a lot of comments have been deleted on these threads because sadly, some people are still unable to grasp the concept of why representation is important in this world and many people are already represented without realising it, and maybe take that type of representation for granted.
I'm closing this thread now, it's going around and around in circles - representation is happening, it will be implemented into the game and it will be done in a natural manner - same as it is in our everyday lives.
Homophobia, raciscm etc has no place in our game, and certainly no place on this forum.

DC penalties cannot be lifted, you will have to wait out the penalty.

This sounds quite final. The announcement ends with "thanks for your patience," but the "has not been possible" part makes it sound like no amount of patience will be rewarded.
I'm sure a lot of people, and this includes me, bought the Stranger Things DLC and cosmetics on the Switch because cross-progression had been guaranteed, but now we all spent a hell of a lot of money for irreplaceable content on a barely playable platform.
Words can't express how not okay this is. With each new chapter that comes out I just hope that's not the chapter that makes the game completely unplayable on Switch, but it's only a matter of time. And when it finally dies, so will my access to the Stranger Things content. It's extremely frustrating because I did the right thing with the information BHVR had given us and then mere days after making the purchases this news comes out. If this cross-progression news had been released before announcing Stranger Things was leaving, I would've made different choices.
I only ever bought DbD on Switch because cross-progression had a set date and it was days away at the time, so I could grind on the go but have actual fun playing it when I got back home to my PC. But the actual fun part never came and possibly never will, now. What I and the other Switch players have is a dark, low-fps, stuttering mess. You know I only play half the game on Switch? I cannot play killer, it is miserable to attempt killer on the Switch.
It's my Stranger Things content being locked to a platform that barely works that has me so, so frustrated, though.
(I'm not so ignorant that I'm mad at the mods on the forums. I'm just mad that the game was ever released on Switch, really, because it shouldn't have been. The forums are where I can express that.)

You would need to contact Support in this instance, they have access to your account information and can check that for you.

This is an issue when you download anything from anywhere. If you disrupt an already started download it can potentially corrupt the files that its downloading.
You can fix the issue with DbD by verifying the game files and it will download the ones that became corrupted or missed in the download.

In answer to your question - the Grades that you are seeing in the end screen are not representative of Rank or skill of the player in the slightest - they are purely about time played since last grade reset.
Matchmaking is done on an MMR system, which matches you with appropriate players around your rank.

However, to answer your question - yes you can become injured after being hit with the Plagues green vomit. As a survivor you have a kind of "vomit meter" that builds up and once that is full you become injured and suffer the broken status effect (can't be healed whilst under that effect).
Also, if the Killer has Corrupt Purge (the red vomit) and hits you with that vomit, you will immediately lose a health state and can be put into dying state if injured with this vomit.
