Can they be removed from the bloodweb then? What's the point of leaving them in if this decision has already been made?
they are removed from the bloodweb - but we needed the update today in order to be able to do that successfully.

Are we going to have another 1 million BP bonus again or it’s not that expected anymore?
no, there's never been another one planned, it was a one off bonus login reward.

I'm the same hope the remove them and give us the bp we wasted on them.
The 1 million login bonus at the start of the Event was for compensation for those that lost any BP offerings and for the purchase of the Event offerings from the bloodweb.
-
I'm sorry but we're not looking for translators at the present time. When we do have positions available they are listed on our website: Jobs & Career Opportunities | Behaviour Interactive (bhvr.com) However, for translation roles we'd likely use an Agency for any translation services.
Thank you for your interest.
-
MarbleThrone is correct, there's a one time login bonus of 1 million which is extra to the current login rewards - it's for the problem that occured with the offering cancelling BP offerings at the start of the Event, so to make up for the lost offerings. Plus for everyone who's leveling up and having to purchase kill switched offerings.

Can the event offerings be removed from the blood web if they will always be worse than a yellow rarity +25% bloodpoint addon?
Unfortunately without an update there's no possibility to get them removed, we are sending out a BP login compensation for the loss of BP offerings earlier in the week and for the kill switch on the Event offerings.
-
I'm sorry but due to the way the DC penalty is in place we cannot make allowances for players who crash, it's still affecting the game for the other players left in the trial. And it also means that players could force a crash deliberately to avoid a penalty.
-
@jonifire said:
That‘s cool, but I still hope they make the event offering a 50% or 75% cake and they should make the circles of blood bigger and give it better spawns or let us place it where we want.
The offerings are currently kill switched and tbh they are not likely to have any changes made to them, we've increased the BP and will have an extra bonus login reward out shortly to make up for the issue with the Event offerings.
-
There is no plans to add voice chat to DbD, even in the CSATs that get sent out to players it's not a desired feature.
The game cannot be balanced via voice communications - the game is designed for solos & swf in mind and balanced around those things. There are far too many different languages in particular server regions to consider balance as an option with voice communications.
Also as someone suggested above, it's a huge undertaking to have it moderated to the standards we would be happy with.
-
Do you have a video showing it not working? As it's incredibly rare to get two perks that are not working for one specific individual. The activation of the perks was changed some months ago, so you have to let go of the generator and approach it again for example to get the prompt.
-
Thanks all for the information. We have just activated the kill switch on the Bloodshot Eye offering so that you can continue to use your BP offerings in game.
-
Quick question on this - is the offering consumed or is it returned to your inventory?
-
If a Gen is blocked it cannot be progressed or regressed - so yes, this is not a bug but by design of the perk.
-
@Accelerator4202 Could you upload your log files here please? That will help us so much with this issue. Thank you.
HOW TO GET YOUR LOGS (THIS PART ONLY APPLY TO PC PLAYERS):
When you get the issue, close your game and do not reopen it until you get your logs.
- Press Win+R
- Type in appdata
- Press OK
- In opened window navigate to: \Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Logs
- Usually you would need to attach the DeadByDaylight.log file.
-
With Gift of Pain yes this is a known issue - the number should be 16% at T3 not 9%. Our team is aware and a fix is anticipated for the next update.
-
We do not discuss bans on this forum - if you wish to view the game rules please do so here: Game Rules - BHVR
-
No anti-cheat is ever infallible, which is why we describe cheating as an arms race - players find a way to cheat, we block it, new ways are found, it's a never ending circle. We definitely actively ban players, we have even shown those numbers in the past of how many we ban in a given period.
Whilst I completely understand your frustrations regarding players who use cheats, I will close this thread.

Will BHVR ever consider reworking Pig’s trap power to be something completely different?
If Pig’s traps really are supposed to be a “press a button, then ignore that survivor” slowdown power, then maybe Pig would be better off with a completely different power.
there are no plans to do that, as we've always said the boxes are part of the slowdown of her kit, her ambush attack is more of her power than the boxes. They get survivors off gens to remove them, that works as a slowdown.

Reminder, this is a bug report, not a discussion thread!

Im so sadened, that this wasnt tackled.
I feel like a broken record at this point but: WHY ASK FOR FEEDBACK, IF YOU DONT WANT IT?
Doesnt matter... Getting upset or depressed over this isnt worth it.
...
Im sad already...
just to give you some hope here, your voice was heard - we heard it. Just because it's not in this update doesn't mean it's not on our radars. The killer changes made in this update are all small tweaks that do not require a huge amount of programming time, other changes do require that time. If we're seeing a problem develop further with the scream builds, I'm sure we will tackle it.

These are not patch notes, this is the Dev Update from PTB - Live, it's in the Knowledge Base on this forum: Developer Update | All Things Wicked PTB - BHVR
-
I'm sorry but right now there's no way that you can unmerge the account. You can try to contact our support team who may be able to assist manually, but that's out of our hands on this forum.
-
If you ever suspect someone is cheating, even if it's a subtle cheat and you're not sure - please do not hesitate in reporting it to us. The onus is on us in checking the information and the accounts, so please don't let the fact that you're not sure in stopping you reporting the suspected players.
Thank you

Nea and Susie for me, with Huntress a close second on the killer side.

Quite a lot of variance here to give a broad spectrum answer. Some good, some okay, some bad.
If I was very heavily generalizing though I’d say overall maps are too large and with too many overly safe loops. There should be way, way less forced pallet breaks than there are. Lots of the loops are too safe to attempt to play with the pallet down for how safe they are. A killer should most of the time feel like they have a fair chance of hitting a survivor at a loop when the pallets down.
If most maps were the size of Coal Tower the game would be in a lot better state. The hold W game play that isn’t fun or healthy for the game is only encouraged when maps are too large.
this is why we're collecting things individually on specific threads, otherwise the topic of maps means we won't get the full feedback - there's a lot of maps.

Will BHVR be responding to the feedback? We had so much negative feedback about garden of joy, but when BHVR made changes to that map, I think they only changed like 1 or 2 breakable walls, and kept everything else exactly the same? And then BHVR didn’t comment on the map changes at all?
There was also a lot of negative feedback about the red maps making it very difficult to see red auras/scratchmarks/blood, and it’s still really horrible. Are these maps red on purpose, specifically to make it more difficult to track survivors?
We are not going to be able to respond to all the feedback that's left on the threads - we do thank people for taking the time to respond there and give their constructive opinions. However, the intention is to obtain relevant feedback for all maps for the Level Design Team.
-
Whilst I do appreciate the intent of this thread, I will close it here - please put the feedback on the threads we've created so that we have everything in one place. We'll be going through each realm and obtaining feedback on ALL of them, to assist the Level Design Team.
Having extra threads where people will start giving feedback on maps isn't beneficial as it means they might not duplicate their responses on the thread where the feedback is needed. Thank you.
-
On the subject of maps - we do have a forum section set up to garner specific feedback, we'll be adding new realms every few days or so (not weekends), where we're focusing on what players like / dislilke about the maps.
This will be helpful for our Level Design Team moving forwards as it creates a repository of information all in one place for them. So please do not hesitate to leave your thoughts on the maps mentioned there...thank you!
-
The issue should now be resolved and you should be able to log in without issues.
-
From our game rules: Game Rules - BHVR
-
Sorry but we're not able to return lost items from when your game crashed.
-
No report is actioned without solid evidence - so video evidence (screenshots are not evidence and are not used) is pretty much a necessity. If players are talking about chat harassment, we do have all the chat logs checked.
Nobody is banned without good reason - and even when you receive the "report is actioned" response, that means the report has been reviewed, not that someone has been banned.
-
I'm afraid temporary bans including matchmaking bans are not able to be appealed.
If I were you I would definitely do some investigating as to why you are getting a memory leak - for any tech support, I'd suggest asking in our Ask the Community sub section for any assistance.
-
The intention of the bubble is to obscure various views - not just to let you know when something has been completed.
-
Failing a skill check from the survivor side doesn't affect the regression, do you have any video showing what happened in the match?
-
Refunds are with the platform that you purchased that content on - so with Steam for example it's within 14 days of purchase and with less than 2 hours played.
This is a Live Service game, things can and will change in game - we are very clear on this in the EULA. We also monitor those changes made very carefully both statistically and through community feedback and our design team adjusts when it's felt necessary.
-
This is looking like an issue on Steam right now.

Skullmerchant has a 70% killrate. How many of those are people giving up on hook or games getting ruined because someone DC'd. Don't take those stats too seriously, there's BHVR stats
Games with a dc are not counted in the stats
-
@MarbleThrone said:
And how many matches did you play for these stats, versus the many thousands, if not tens of thousands of matches played every day worldwide? Surely you don't think your own bubble is even remotely representative?
even tens of thousands matches doesn't really come close to the amount of matches per day...hundreds of thousands might be better but it's closer to a million or more
That's why individual data is subjective, one persons experience is not going to be the same as another persons.
We use data plus feedback, neither are used on their own when we make decisions.
The balance between escape rates and kill rates is carefully monitored - right now it's in a pretty good spot across the board, it doesn't mean that we're not making changes to certain things, the wonders of a Live game is that there will always be adjustment to things as you've been able to see on our Live roadmap, but I can definitely confirm we have no plans to move away from the 60/40 split, this is what we're aiming for.
-
I don't have the exact percentage to hand but it's a small percentage at the high MMR level - it's above the soft cap.
The bigger areas are at low MMR and at mid MMR - high MMR is really a very small percentage of players

Those stats literally just came out. He was referencing stats from around the time of 6.1. Anyways, the current stats don’t mean much. The ceiling for high mmr is fairly low. I would bet most of the people on this forum are in it.
That's not the case I'm afraid - the high mmr bracket is one of the smallest percentage groups. Majority of players are in the average MMR bracket.
-
Yeah some postings that were made a specific timeframe today (prior to the outage) may have been lost, unfortunately this is out of our control, even our patch notes disappeared into the ether. We're working with the hosting provider and advising them of where there are still issues and they're working on some high priority fixes but I don't believe we'll get any of those comments / posts back unfortunately.
-
Hi, this perk was a general perk and was not on the Shrine of secrets for a very long time - when Stranger Things returned to the game the perk became a character specific perk and as such was locked for other Characters until Demogorgon was levelled up to at least Prestige 1. Then it will be available on other killers.
-
Player grades are not indicitive of anything other than time played - time played really doesn't equate with game sense either.
Player feedback and discussions are valuable whatever experience you have with the game, limiting it to those who are at a particular skill level is not practical - if we listen to those at high MMR only for example and make changes based on that, the game will end up worse for players in the mid bracket who may not have the same skill levels, and that's the bracket that has the majority of players.
Game sense is something totally different, you can understand the game at an expert level, know all the nuances - but you might not necessarily be the best player as knowledge and actioning that knowledge are two different things. I've seen players with 7k hours have little game sense, and then I've seen 200hrs players have a full understanding of the game. There's no hard or fast rule - that's why this is a forum open to everyone, regardless of skill, time played, grade or MMR.
-
I had to do it

For the purpose of this modifier, both Doctor and Legion have a unhearable terror radius in order for their powers to work.
