Ok so, I don't know if this is just me or not but I have an extremely hard time playing against the doctor. Now I actually quite like the doctor, and I don't get toxic or salty in anyway towards any of my games with him. The problem I have is basically any audio that is specific to the doctor. Everything is extremely stupidly loud. I don't have the same issue with any other killing just him. I have to end up turning down my volume to the point where I can't hear anything else in the game. The sounds are just blaring and makes it hard to concentrate.
Does anyone else think the same or is it just me who can't handle the doctors drip
You do know they are doing a complete rework of him?

People like you are the reason I love head on.
Killers getting unreasonably salty at getting outplayed (by a very below average perk at that) and then saying its "toxic"
I really would not consider this “outplayed” when I stated above “didn’t know he was in the closet”
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
Here we have an example why the word "toxic" has no meaning anymore. It is used for everything.
Neither Head On nor Camping are toxic.
Hmm... his tactics were toxic not the perk.

Still agree with the survivor, that's like survivors being toxic to a killer because they used infectious fright and slugged. Like that's the point of the perk.
“Like that’s the point the perk” - didn’t know he was in the closet, didn’t know he was behind the wall to pallet me after being stunned. I’m not justifying my actions lmao but guess what’s also in the game, just like the perk? I’ll leave it to you.

I camped his teammate bud, he just so happened to be a hook over within 10 meters.

That would be cool. I’m just imagining all the mind****ery that would take place. Maybe could even spawn fake hatches when there’s one survivor remaining and it’ll make them think they escaped only to close on them in the last second.
Yeah, like having perks or add ons that spawn a fake gen. If a survivor(s) starts repairing they’re trapped in an illusion and can’t see or hear the killer coming. They only snap out when hit or if they perform another action.
-
@Rareware0192 said:
The Mimic
A killer that has the power to transform into the farthest away survivor. While transformed as a survivor, they have a Terror Radius of 0 and have no red stain, except with the survivor they’re mimicking, who is able to hear their Terror Radius and see they’re red stain even while transformed. They can interact with generators and pretend to repair them, but in actuality be regressing it manually. If another survivor comes to help repair the generator they are regressing, they can quickly get up and grab the survivor off the generator, transforming back to its original form, and take them to a hook.
If the survivor that The Mimic is copying gets close to the Mimic, they can force The Mimic to be revealed in their true form. When transformed as a survivor, The Mimic might also have slightly reddened eyes in order to distinguish them if you’re observant. The direct counter to this would be to stay grouped up together, since there won’t be any confusion if a clone of one of the survivors somehow showed up out of nowhere.
The Scarecrow
I don’t know how this one would exactly work, but I think it would be cool to have a scarecrow as a killer. Maybe he might spawn somewhere in the map, but the player gets to control an invisible being that wanders around looking for survivors similar to Wraith in his cloaked form and probably the same speed. If he’s completely invisible he will emit a sound when he’s near a survivor. He can injure survivors but not down them, he’ll have to return to the scarecrow and then take control of the scarecrow who is able to now walk and instantly down the survivors he’s injured (even if they healed back up to Healthy). He’ll probably be an M1 killer only though to balance it out, not sure. Again, I’m not entirely 100% on this concept yet but thought a scarecrow killer would be cool :P
What have been some ideas you guys thought of?
I think a Mime would be dope.
Maybe a a horror illusionist! Ability to trap survivors in an illusion, the survivor thinks they’ve escaped only to snap out of it when hit.
having an Ultra-Rare perk that sends out illusions that the killer is after you only to dissipate when you would be hit.

It's not name shaming, everything I wrote was a matter of fact. If you support how this guy plays the game then I have no words for you.
Nowhere did I say I support this guy. 🤦🏽♂️ You are name shaming, you had no reason to throw the guys name out there but you did.
For all we know, you might have a grudge against this guy and have created this story to hurt his reputation. You literally could’ve left it at “Streamer.”
“Matter of fact” - no. Hearsay - yes.

Considering that person isn’t here to defend themselves, it’s not really “calling out”. You’re just name shaming them.

Dark maps are so fun for trapper, you can get really creative with your traps then
Never realized how good Trapper is when played optimally. He’s actually pretty fun, but you can really end up focusing a lot on trapping.

Ah yes, the new hook "tech" that makes the killer waste a few seconds, I find a good counter is utilizing your camp-tech until you get a free hit or grab.
I have a clip of me waiting while a Dwight continued switching sides trying to bait a swing. He finally attempted the unhook and I grabbed him. Game over; they were the last two.

Another W for the Trapper against a set of Reds. Played on Coldwind. Was rather difficult but thanks to the dark map, trap trap trap. Killed 3 then finished off the 4th while she searched for the hatch. I thought I was never going to kill any of them lmao

Should've done multiple times on the same rank, using same perks, same killer several times before switching.
That may seem painstaking and long, but you got to have more than the best game.
Is this directed towards me? If so, I try to avoid playing the same killer each game. That just bores me. Truth be told.

Personally I use ruin (green ranks) as sort of a decoy while also running DH(easily my favorite perk). It's certainly possible to play without it, but... Ehhh? Most survivors run the same few perks to do well. Who cares if killers do?
It wasn’t about running the same few perks lol. I was just saying it’s still possible to beat survivors both good and bad without it. And this was about challenging myself and trying to enjoy the game instead of just wanting to kill everyone in a tryhard way.

@Mellow7 said:
Why use noed? when you can use devour hope or STBFL to snowball.
My problem with Devour Hope is that it’s highlighted immediately. There definitely needs to be an activation delay because it defeats the purpose. Especially when the majority of my games my totems are just right there in the middle of nothing for survivors to see.

I mean being a 119% Killer with instant down AND can trap exit gates is a little bit easy to win.
IF you manage to trap the exit gates. The luck is you get them close together or they’re spread out. Traps can be sabotaged and regardless of the notification, if gates are spread out, survivors are escaping.
im not making excuses for NoED and this isn’t a post to argue on. I was sharing my experience as a no-Ruin killer despite “using” NoED even though I never “used” it.

I'm aware, but consider this.
Survivors don't do totems so NOED is mega good right now.
You get to be a 4% faster and you are a instant down Killer,
Ruin makes it slow you slow down gens, NOED is to compensate for getting to endgame or closing hatch and finishing the game off quick, no power or skill needed.
Skill is definitely needed for NoED. You still have to catch survivors before they escape.
Also, I’ve played in 2 games where NoED never activated because all totems were destroyed. Red rank survivors definitely play optimally when they notice no Ruin. My team automatically assumes NoED and we destroy every non-lit totem we come across.

Thanks!
I think my Hag game was by far the most fun. It was on Backwater Swamp.
My Devour Hope totem was the center of attraction, I had 2 survivors dead because they focused on it. It was difficult to focus on all the gens because they spread them out so well and I wasn’t able to teleport to my traps optimally, except in chases which is fun to catch survivors off guard. I managed to kill the last 2 right before they opened the exit gate. I downed one and teleported to my trap that was triggered as he opened the gate.
Spirit was pretty difficult. It was on Backwater also and the only reason I got a 3k was because I camped, yup 🙄, the ONLY survivor I managed to get before EGC when all gens were finished. One came up injured for an unhook? Why! Lmao. Downed them. Then I heard someone below me and went after them, phasing is great. Injured them, they ran so I went back and checked the hooked person, picked up the downed, hooked them. The injured dude CAME BACK 😭 I downed him and hooked. Pushed the 4th out so he didn’t get brave on a rescue.

@OMagic_ManO said:
NOED?
I don't use either?
NOED doesn't make the anti ruin theory sound too pretty, as NOED is a easy win.
Not really sure how you consider NoED an easy win. It’s a Hex Totem that can be destroyed. At best, you get a kill. Against an optimal team, NoED can become useless. Also, read again. I only used NoED on Trapper and didn’t even need it. It was more of a last resort if I didn’t get a kill during the game and as you can see, my No Kill match it didn’t even help. DS murdered me.

Well if you're trying to be an effective killer but have few perks Whispers can be helpful even if it's only tier 2.
I’m not a fan of whispers. I used to main Feng when first starting and became to reliant on Aura perks. It caused me to avoid the killer, thus, was terrible at looping when I got to red rank.

Well UP doesn't do much against high ranks. Do you have STBFL on Trapper? It's a pretty strong perk although not that useful on Trapper compared to other killers it can still have more impact than UP. Especially since you're using UP with normal TR.
So, I honestly just threw UP on there because I rarely play Trapper. I barely have any perks on him.

@PistolTimb said:
Ruin is a bandaid fix for gen speeds. Killers can often win if played optimally; meaning they run solid builds to complement their power and halt gen progression, end chases quickly, and kill someone quickly. You ran noed every game, though, which can allow any killer to win regardless of their skill or time management.
Also, when you included the ranks, were those referring to the ranks of your opponents or the ranks you reached? Because it is impossible to reach rank 1 from rank 7 after just 4 games.
I only ran NoED on Trapper as those games were back-to-back and I didn’t change builds.
Those are survivor ranks.
I did not use NoED on the other two killers. Also, I’ve had my NoED destroyed instantly more times than I’ve got to use it lol.

This is an assymetrical survival/horror(?) game where each side has either items or add ons to shift the tide their way and depending on how the circumstances resolve...you live or die. Honestly the easiest time I've ever had playing as a Killer in red ranks. Survivors playing like dunces that just drops pallets left and right then falls for the simplest mind game and only time I would have a hard time winning a match is against SWF because these are the only survivors that actually knows how to play their Rank.
Considering the rank system is botched. I’d say I only have fun when I’m against non-SWF or the SWF that doesn’t sweat. Most solo reds/purples got there from playtime more than skill.

Lmfao I know I know. I want to apologize to those that tried to convince me 😂🖤
I’m such a try-to-have-fun survivor that I’ve never encountered this stuff til recently. I had no idea how awful it is because my group is sooooo innocent in play. We’re probably the most noob-like reds/purples because we play for mostly scares.

I play survivor more now that my group is more active. We never receive messages from killers nor have I heard of any other people receiving any that weren’t toxic.

Thata my favorite game lol. I wont hunt, but I will protect my totem. I even give them a whack and a chance to run. But if they try to troll or outplay for the totem, they die.
During the pustula event LAST year, it was hilarious. 3/4 working on a plant, ring the bell and watch them SCATTER.
But yeah I've been doing killer games as a "mini boss" character. Dont use out of game knowledge (perks, maps, cutting off routes unless it's a character specific map like pig/game meyers/haddonfield) and just mindlessly play whatever killer it is like the source material shows them. It's way more fun to do that and get 1/0k than to try for a 4k and get 3or less AND salty messages/teabagging.
Yeah, I kept ringing my bell as a warning and then they’d point. Those that didn’t run, got a whack. Then I returned. 😂

Cant play this game fair anymore. You have to play it either:
A: completely selfishly, ensuring YOUR survival/victory regardless of how "scummy" it is.
OR
B: 100% carefree/fair as if you're an npc in someone elses game.
Trying to play fair AND win/do well is only going to cause frustration.
Theres too many toxic kiddies who think sacrificing a teammate or teabagging a loser is the ultimate power trip.
If I play for “fun” I know I won’t win. Lol I played Wraith last night with Insidious and stood in front of my Ruin Totem. It was hilarious watching all 4 survivors come and try to touch it. Finally one flashed me then I went full killer mode (only killed 2, but still). 😂
