Imagine old remember me x4, that would be quite something!
Meh, I'd rather down someone, open the gates and let EGC kill everyone with a 4 minute long blood warden.

What is your current Bubba build that you destroy with xD? Assuming pwyf and nemesis of course.
Been experimenting with those last 2 slots. Was using Ruin and BBQ, but ive tried swapping in perks like whispers, infectous fright, Pop and surveillance too. It gets annoying when the team swaps over to stealthing around on Yamaoka or something.
-
Had a scratched mirror game like this the other day. One person dead, one on hook and one gen left to go. If these guys had so much as TOUCHED a gen, id be forced to act. As it stands... we pretty much had a staring contest until their buddy died. In a situation like this where you refuse to pressure the killer by doing gens, the only one on a timer is the guy on the hook.

Lol, exactly.
The last thing a player on the hook wants to see is the auras of other survivors stuffing about petting crows, and nothing else.
Imagine the next Tome
”pet 20 crows. Must be completed within a single trial”
You'd have a Claudette sneaking up on a crow, only to look up and see an Oni doing the same.

In theory yes, in practice no. It’s already hard enough to get survivors to touch gens sometimes.
Was saying the same thing when people were complaining about having to go out of their way for archive challenges. I was like "Yup... doing things that you wouldnt normally do...like fixing gens...must be rough". At least the Claudette urban evading along the outside of the map will have some company as she waits for her 3 teammates to die for her hatch exit.
-
Unfortunately they always fly away when I come over.

@michaelmyers87 said:
With EGC whispers isn’t needed as much anymore because as killer you should be satisfied with 3 kills.
but maybe it could get louder as you are closer to a survivor
People dont just equip whispers for that LAST guy. Alot of times it can be really handy for finding the FIRST guy, as well as keeping you from checking out an area that nobody is at. Its a valuable perk, even when all 4 survivors are alive.

You actually shouldn’t heal against him, I know it sounds counter-intuitive but it actually works if everyone does it.

How would that work on Lery's or The Game's hard floors?
Same way the hatch can spawn in the killer shack when the basement is there. The power of videogames.

You can only change someone's mind if it's an opinion, if it's a fact there is no argument to be made
If something is 100% fact, i can simply explain why your wrong. If you say a square is round, I can show you a picture of a square along with the definition of the word round.

I do like alert just don't have it unlocked. Also kindred is awesome but only have it in 2 survivors. Im a recent survivor player. Killer is too stressful sometimes. While i like a good challenge i play games to relax.
I think that's why i like empathy so much. Seeing soneone far away from me lets me know i can do what im doing without fear of getting grabbed off a gen or totem.
May have to play around with aftercare and bond some more. But i dont know if i can give up mapwide auras.
Being able to see someone across the map isnt really as useful as being able to see whats going on around you. Typically with empathy, you get to see the 2nd half of a chase. With bond, you get to see the WHOLE chase if it threatens to affect you at all. I remember using this setup to watch a chase take place around the elementary school WHILE I was fixing a gen in the basement area of the school. Just watching the auras as well as spinechill let me know if I should move away from this chase taking place so nearby.

Reminds me of the time when I sat around a hook until a survivor died because all 3 of the other survivors were hiding around the hook. Then they accused me of camping "for no reason".
I was playing scratched mirror Myers by the way. I can see you hiding.
Had a game like that the other day. Whats worse...one of em had a gen like 3 ft away. If this team did ANYTHING, id be forced to move... But they didnt. I told them if your not gonna pressure the killer, your the only ones on a timer...that being the hook timer.
-
Been running Bond, alert, spinechill and ironwill. Bond typically makes it easy to tell where gens are, if someone else is going for a save, ect. Also, if a survivor is fast vaulting and running in circles...its pretty obvious theyre being chased, lol. The range is enough to ensure I stay out of the guys way and vacate the area if hes about to use the spot im working in. Alert lets me know the killers location when far away, which areas are probably lacking pallets and often times at the beginning of matches...the identity of the killer.
-
Try to hide behind a tree or rock when my spinechill pops on, only to realize too late that I picked the wrong side of the rock.
-
I keep getting 4ks on Bubba that result in black pips.
Also...feel like this fits nicely...

This is about the only statement that resonates with me in this thread.
In all honesty the standard of killer at release when games were much harder is literally black and white in contrast to what I see nowadays.
Most comments I find myself smh because there's just no perspective.
There's a percentage of killers that expect a 'degree' of challenge but ultimately they expect to 'win' it's like they watched the intro of the game on repeat and expect all games to be like that.
🙄
In all fairness... its pretty normal to see 1 survivor crouching in the bushes while waiting for their teammates to die off.

The only perks here that need buffing here, are Thana and Unrelenting. The only really viable change for Thana, is making the perk affect dead survivors as well, but unrelenting is probably one of the worst perks in the game rn (right beside Monstrous Shrine). Unrelenting affecting successful attacks, would be problematic due to STBFL, I don’t think any survivor wants to go against a machine gun m1 killer. However, those buffs to ruin and nurses did give me a little giggle
CURRENTLY dead survivors get an action speed reduction of -100% so...i dont know how much more thana can do to them.

Before Oni, i had finished up freddy, plague and spirit and was 1 perk away from ghost face.
I'm currently focusing on unlocking all perks for oni, then gonna hit fred, plague, spirit and gf...kinda wanna try out your Bubba build...but I would have to stsrt spending points on him to unlock perks...
its alot of fun. Its pretty mindless when im usually thinking of mindgaming pallets and such...now im just holding W and getting stunned. Im not even swinging through them. If they stun me, great. If they dont throw the pallet because they thought id swing...I'll saw them down.

Put it ona team with SWF running putrid oak or whatever the hook distance offering is and you'll be in for a very annoying time, it's not a solo perk that's what survivors seem to miss about these types of perks. The game is 4 v 1 not all but there are a number of perks that really only become good once you have SWF squad to run with.
or a sabo squad

Not if they are intentionally bullying killers all the time, I'm just teaching them a lesson.
No...the definition of griefing is still the same, no matter if you think they deserve to be griefed or not.
-
Going out of your way to ruin the experience of a specific player over the span of multiple games is infact...griefing.
-
Unrelenting USE to affect the cooldown of successful attacks but... then we had ppl combining it with STBFL for the machinegun build...

Wow the counter Is (rushing) the same to every other killer You discovered américa! Also gen speed Is totally fine using those ítems i imagine is okay if the killer brings an ebony to end the objective quicker aswell right?
In this case, you have a killer that gets progressively stronger as the game goes on. It would be like doing as much work as you can against Mikey before he hits T2. You want to get as much progress in early as possible against an Oni before the map is full of unused bloodorbs everywhere and he can use his power often.

DS doesn't only need to be an anti-tunnel perk and absolutely nothing else.
Anti-tunnel IS infact the purpose of DS. The devs have specified that when they made their change...
Horvath: We decided to put a timer on Decisive Strike as one of the solutions to Decisive Strike being used too often, we tried 2 minutes internally and found that players were able to use DS a long time after being unhooked, where it no longer serves the purpose to protect you from being tunneled/ farmed

You dont even need to get it to tier 3. For the purpose we're doing it, tier 1 works fine.

Its absolutely amazing. You can play Bubba without any addons and make ppl sweat.

@Yamaoka said:
You never learn, do you - LordGlint? You, as a killer, are supposed to provide cookies and milk for survivors while they're working on gens. Do you have any idea how exhausting it is to work on generators while you're looking? You're making these poor souls nervous! No wonder they bailed on you and yeeted out of the game via the hatch!
As for the new Nemesis build I knew it was gonna be a thing when I first saw what the perk does which is why I saved up 1MIO bloodpoints before the update. Started running the build the minute it was released.
I kinda feel invincible now. I call it the "paintrain build". First time I got my tokens I was like "CHOO CHOO MOFOS HERE I COME!!!". Incredible how one perk can turn a mediocre killer into a force of nature. PWYF has always been self explanatory for Bubba but combined with Nemesis it's making him basically a chainsaw god.
Its SO much fun. Its nice not really needing to rely on good addons. Ive been working on unlocking ALL perks on Bubba and I'm almost finished.

@Wubsyy__ said:
I mean, 3 of them escaped. They were probably just messing around with you.
They escaped via key after an absolute slaughter. The side of the map that the 3 fully regressed gens were at was a barren open deadzone with no pallets left against a 1 shot down killer. That hatch turned into their only chance.

Considering Bubba having a synergy with PWYF and Nemesis basically just being a PWYF buff I'm not surprised that you'd have a lot of success with that build.
Nemesis + PWYF + Enduring + Spirit Furry seems like it could be the ultimate anti-loop build for an M1 Killer. But it's probably more efficient to use some gen stalling perks like you did.
Btw I'd suggest swapping out BBQ for Thrilling Tremors (assuming you don't need the BP of course)
Just watched this video and made me think of you since he brings up spirit fury+enduring.

Perhaps they should just add an option in the store or menus to disable the survivors/killers animations and sounds.
That would be nice. I tried checking out his different swords, only for him to put the sword away and take out his club over and over again.
-
@OnryosTapeRentals said:
I don't mind his sound effects. I suppose hearing them incessantly could be quite irritating but when playing against him it actually makes him seem threatening and menacing, something which other killers lack.
Hearing him constantly raging out while not in a game can be kinda annoying.

You don't need to justify your playstyle. If you want to camp just do it. I never camp or tunnel but even then I get insulted for slugging. Entitled people will always find something to rage about. Hell, me and @LordGlint got told not to "camp generators". I even posted a clip of me searching survivors for 9 minutes straight because they wanted me to DC for "camping generators" whatever that means.
Just play for your own enjoyment. People don't have the right to tell you how to play the game.
Pretty soon I'll have someone accuse me of camping exit gates, lol.

I ALWAYS need more BPs, lol. Im trying to get every perk on every killer. I dont really need enduring spirit fury since I try to kinda purposely meander after a pallet stun. Ill break the pallet and take my time so the chase breaks and I get my PWYF stack. It quickly turns into a lose lose situation where they either have to insta-toss EVERY pallet until there is none, or go down. Eventually they run out of pallets in the area and it screws the team for the whole game. You cant loop a 130% speed Bubba. People who expect me to swing through a pallet and dont drop it...immediately realize they screwed up when I get on their ass immediately after and saw them down.

Yeah; i've been running that build too. Survivors drop pallets and you eat them for breakfast like: https://youtu.be/ENw8znw2Vo4?t=15
The amount of teams that lose to it is ridiculous. I could post screenshot after screenshot of endgame scorecards showing Bubba doing work, but you'll always have that 1 guy saying "Those survivors must've ALL been potatoes". I kinda wish Bubba had Dead Hard so I could run in there real quick just incase the pallet accidentally missed me.
