When I first bought the game I was so anxious about playing survivor, but I had to because as a rank 20 killer the waiting time was just impossible. Who would've thought things would take such a turn and the killer role to be the stressful one while survivor is a walk in the park?
-
You need 4 stacks. Either 4 protection hit/4 safe unhooks or a mix of these.

Same could have been said for ruin.
Unfortunately, yes. Which is why I don't understand the change in the first place.

Totems spawn in very obvious locations. If they have trouble finding them, then they should run small game.
-
Some people will insult you whether they escape or get killed. That says more about them and you shouldn't mind them, but if it gets to you, disable the end chat and continue to play however you feel like :)
-
Nope, tho' they usually want to (I play solo).
I only had one match recently where all 3 were the most selfish survivors I've ever encountered and it was exactly when I was playing without self-care, medkit or iron will.
-
I think randomizing their location and a better (more hidden) placement would help more.
As killer, I wouldn't mind wasting a few seconds to place a hex where I want (just the hex, not all totems), making sure it doesn't get destroyed a few seconds into the game. The only map where hex totems stay up more than a few minutes is Lery, but that's only because the recent rework. In all other maps (even Gideon) the spawn location is ridiculously obvious.

"The perk is your second pair of eyes while you're in a chase" - that's why I use it in every build, since I'm having trouble looking behind while in a chase.
-
I think not making sounds while in dying state is a bug that has nothing to do with iron will. I've noticed this happening while playing killer and not being able to find dying survivors who weren't using the perk.
-
As a survivor, I don't mind being killed if I've done a lil bit of everything (gens, totems, being chased, unhooks).
As for killer, I mostly try to keep people off gens, engaging everyone in chases. As long as the survivors are not a bunch of bullies, killing isn't my main objective. I often give the last one hatch or even let 2 escape if I see they're "lost" and the game would've ended too soon.
-
Not sure the (lack of) lightness is the problem, but I definitely have trouble seeing from both sides.
If it's not too much to ask, I would also like Freddy to have an add-on that would allow him to see the original maps (equivalent of survivors waking up) because I find it impossible to play as him in the current state (unless it's an indoor map).

what's the difference between AFK wraith and any other killer who goes AFK?
They can see the other killers and get more points by running around them/blinding them etc. It's hard to spot a cloaked wraith :D
Nevermind, I posted this before seeing the updated comments and someone else already answered.

Kindred has one main purpose, and that is to promote healthy gameplay. If being undetectable overrides Kindred, then what was the point of bringing Kindred in the first place?
To see if the killer is near the hook and see what your mates are doing so you know if you should go for the save or do other objective?
-
Don't think so. I've been camped by insidious Bubba today while having kindred and I couldn't see his aura after a few seconds.
Tho' I remember another scenario few weeks ago when I could see his aura near a hooked survivor, so I might be wrong.
-
Uhm, isn't poised when you leave no scratch marks after finishing a gen? I think people have it confused with solidarity.
I've done the challenge using my regular perks: iron will, spine chill and WGLF, I think.

So you tried to play mori games 7 times in a row?
I have a lot of those cause I never use them. I use shroud of separation and it's funny how many dcs I face because they think it's mori.
-
Funny thing is that when they don't burn map offerings, they often disconnect if they see Gideon or Lery's cause they know they're not gonna have the easiest way out.
I would like to play killer more often, but I'm getting these teams way too much.
-
Hag.
-
Since it says "2 or better" I can only assume it's a bug. Happened to me with other challenges and got fixed after restarting the game or choosing the challenge again.
-
Got a lobby with 4 p3 Claudettes today. They also chose Yamaoka map (gee, I wonder why) so I thought to myself "great, might as well go "do" gens myself since I was playing Pig). To my huge surprise, I managed to find them one by one (lost them in a few chases of course). One disconnected, one died on second hook and the other on first to let the last one get hatch. I got her near it. At the end I was even more surprised to see they were all rank 6 and 7 with the last one being 14.
Still, I wouldn't wanna go through the same scenario again. I have trouble seeing them on any map, not just this one.
-
I see what you mean, I have trouble remembering who was who as well, but... What if you there are at least 2 Fengs/Megs etc?
-
The new survivor sounds exactly like Yui.
-
Survivor sided.
(This comes from someone who plays both sides, so I'm not an "angry killer main")
-
I don't have one.
I switch between Nea, Meg (mostly these 2), Jake, Bill, Feng. And lately I've been playing more often as Yui.
-
I already had numerous games full of lag and some which ended up with the killer and me being disconnected (not on purpose, obviously). 15 min penalty for something out of my control.
-
I still don't because I also play survivor and know how unfun that is. I still play fair unless they're being toxic.
-
And yellow killers...
But if you do the math, 4 + 5 + 2 + 5 = 16
-
A Claud "accused" me of being racist because I went for her first 😄
-
I've never done it. The only time I stay at the exit gate is to see if someone needs a late save. And if the killer gets near, I just run out the gate, sometimes allow him to hit me, other times I just stay still to offer him a kill if he got no hooks during the game.
Never understood the need for t-bag, at the exit gates or anywhere else.
-
Yeah, if ranks will no longer reflect skill but "time spent in game" then why hide them?
-
When I use Rancor, I do it more for the aura reading (only got BBQ few days ago) but having the option to kill your obsession at the end can be very rewarding if met with toxic survivors.
-
Huntress.
-
Pfff... And here I was thinking it's an invasion. Had 7 matches in a row against her yesterday. It's the most annoying killer for me. Can't stand her humming.
-
Nice idea. Maybe I'll do it too when/IF the Rank Update Error gets fixed cause otherwise my rank is stationary and I can't see the other 3 players perks if I were to include that info.
-

Agreed, I believe he is a better killer overall, but he's less annoying to play for the survivors. Win, win. Next up on the wish-list, better queue times!!
Yes, it's easy for survivors to snap out of madness now but overall I find him a lot more annoying now.
-
"Terrified" is much said, but I get jump scares when I step in Hag's traps.
-
Neh, I get Coldwind and Asylum a lot. Lery's not so much.
-
As survivor, I don't mind being killed eventually if I feel like I contributed to the game and did a little bit of everything (gens, totems, unhooks, being chased). I usually focus on totems and saves since my mates often seem to be glued to gens when someone's on hook and miraculously vanish when I'm in a chase.
As killer, I just try to keep survivors off the gens, engaging everyone in chases, not looking to hook/kill them asap. This usually results in longer, more enjoyable games and positive feedback. Also I don't have 4k as a goal, so most of the times if I get 3 kills I let one of them escape (unless they were toxic).
-
Lery's and Game for good games as killer. I hate Haddonfield as Michael. And there are some huge maps which make the match quite unfun for low mobility killers. When I play survivor, I often spawn right near the killer but when I play as killer, they always spawn on the other side of the map...
Game as survivor can get confusing cause I never know if the killer is on the same floor with me. Other than that, I have no preference as survivor.
-
I managed 4k 2 games out of 4 (2 with 1 escape) without tunneling, slugging or camping. The perks I used: Overcharge, PGTW, Nurse's calling and Thanato.
I still prefer the old Doc tho'.
-
It's a hex so if survivors would focus on totems as well it would be no problem. I always look for totems between gens but sadly very few have been doing that. I noticed people started to pay more attention to totems since the updates tho'.
-
It is brighter, yes.
-
It's a known issue.
-
Neither.
-
Hmm, I might need to have my hearing checked cause I haven't noticed (got her to P3).
-
Uhm, I use M1 (self-care) or M2 (med kit) to heal and Space to drop pallet. confused
Nevermind, I guess you're not playing on PC?
-
Happened earlier against a camper.
I got hooked when the last gen was done and of course my teammates escaped quickly so I attempted to unhook myself and it was successful. Also, it was the first time I equipped DS after being tunneled for the last 3 consecutive games. Of course the killer came back as soon as I unhooked myself, but I stunned him with DS and ran (hopeless a bit tbh) but miraculously heard the hatch (which I haven't seen during the game). Yes, I escaped.
-
For me, Iron Will, Kindred, DS and self-care. (I don't use DS and rarely use SC, but I'd choose these out of this list).
-
i use it only when I see flashlights in the lobby and if they happen to be a SWF who only wants to mess with me. That's the only situation when I regret not having Mori. Otherwise I rather just chase everyone off the gens (not necessarily hook them from the beginning). Turns out to be a fun gameplay even for survivors, I get positive messages everytime even if I end up killing them (on hooks, not with mori).
As for it being used by others, I don't see it that often. But seeing comments around here, I suspect this will change tho', along with NOED.
-
Oh, I'm sure his popularity is going to grow after the rework and that some (many?/more?) will enjoy the new Doc. Not sure about the ones who used to play it on a regular basis.
