Thanks, I never saw this specific infographic previously. Interesting, though: it seems that blood lodge is the least of our worries compared to other maps and 40-50% survival rate isn't a bad kill ratio, imo. Top of the list needs looking at first, for definite.
The problem here is that this statistic counts all the randoms and the rank 20s so it's ######### up

As a Huntress main... headshots should not be in the game. Most of the shots I get are around loops and I get the headshot anyway because that's the only part of the body I can hit. It would be easier than you think to get headshots

Trust me, they would 100% never just randomly make insta hatchets a baseline without telling anyone, have you seen how inconsistent it it? I've seen people get hit in the toe and instantly go down.
I don't know if I should trust them.... They needed on time the hillbilly making the cooldown not as it used to be.
But I don't think they can really be this evil, so I'll just trust them for these random bugs...it happens.

Much as I wouldn't be shocked for this to be true, but do you actually have any sources for these 'facts?'
This is it , sent directly by @Peanits in this post : https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/519712
So this is the 8th strongest map in the game. This spread all through the ranks. Making a statistic of only rank ones could be difficult
-
@Seanzu said:
This has already been gone over by @Peanits Survivors have one hitbox, it is pill shaped from head to toe. (obviously slightly larger than the survivor)
there is no headshots about it, it's anywhere, anytime whenever the server lags with a hatchet throw, they certainly aren't testing it
Of course it's not confirmed, this is just my opinion, but this could always be voluntary.
-
@immortalls96 said:
It would be a cool feature to reward huntress head shots but it's not likely ever to happen
It's not really a reward man. If an Huntress learned how to always hit the head (as she perfectly does when she's looping small obstacles) she would always do one shots.

@Freudentrauma said:
They said values aren't final and might change until PTB and change until hitting life of course. It's a normal step during development a lot of perks and values get tweaked beforehand.
That's not the point, the point is that in this way the perk is nerfed to the ground. 24 meters are nothing, especially in big maps.
-
@Peanits said:
We did mention that they were subject to change. That stream was recorded weeks in advance while the perks were still being balanced.
Basically we'd erred on the side of caution. On a small map like Coal Tower or in a three gen scenario, it could be overwhelming. If it's too good, that's going to make it hard to actually review feedback on the new killer (is it because the killer's too good, or just because of the perk?). If it's not good enough, worst case scenario we buff it before the update goes live. This is what the PTB is for, after all.
This is why we typically don't reveal numbers until they are final.
I think killers will have a damn hard time using that on mount Ormond or blood lodge....
-
How's about yes said by me, truetalent, zubatlel, all those people on the forums that want this game to be balanced?

Easiest is literally going around the Survivor before unhooking so they would have to first walk around the Survivor in order to grab you. Most of the time you take a hit but still get the Unhook off.
Then there is baiting the grab in order to force the Hag to hit you and unhook during the attack cooldown.
If you know they are doing this then you might be able to time it so the Unhook finishes immediately after they teleport but before they can grab, but that one is extremely tight. If you can pull it off then you don't even have to take a hit.
And if you use the strategy of crouching before unhooking then the Survivor is already unhooked and you can start running before the Hag knows to teleport. It only buys a second or 2 but since Hag is 110 that can often be enough time to get to a window or pallet or let you proc sprint burst if you have it.

You're basically making up hypothetical after hypothetical because you don't want a discussion; you want to win. To be right.
It does not matter what logic or comments are given to you; you will just make up another event, and ANOTHER event, and ANOTHER event to be right.
You don't want a solution, and you don't want a discussion. You just want to keep making up hypothetical situations until people give up because you've countered everything they say. It does not matter is 90% of it won't happen in one match. It CAN happen, and that makes you right.
There's no point in discussing it with you. I mean, you said it yourself 'If all counters are removed, I'm right'. You don't care that there's counters because you will counter the counters, and then counter whatever counters people tell you after that. Because you want to be right.

Then you spent 40+ seconds placing every trap near 1 hook. That's half the repair time of 1 generator, done solo without a toolkit.
That's 40 seconds 3 Survivors are doing gens while you scribble in the dirt.
But heaven forbid a Killer's power allow then to stop an unhooking, apparently. I had someone call me a camper recently for using my Hag power to protect a hooked Survivor, and they were too stupid to crouch or clear the trap. Repeatedly.
But it was MY FAULT they kept falling for it, according to them.
All right, folks! Pack it in! Killers are no longer allowed to use their power to secure Hooks! Just stop hooking Survivors! It's apparently OP to secure kills now!
Traps take 2 seconds to get placed, so maybe 20 seconds max. Anyway you don't need to place 10 traps, you just need 3, since a flashlight can't destroy ehm all immediately

You can just place 3 traps, since the flashlight can't break them all in one shot if you put them as if they were in a triangle's vertices ∆

Oh yeah, also running through the traps and then going back in during the cooldown if she leaves. Since mint rag can't be spammed.
And you don't need Rusty shackles for this btw. The terror radius from the husk doesn't count.
Why should the hag go away if you popped all the traps? She would teleport to the hook, place 3 traps, and then immediately look for you around the area. You can't do that in 15 seconds, especially for the fact that she immediately teleports to the hook right when you pop all the traps.
Btw I didn't know that the terror radius from the husk doesn't count

Had a 4 man SWF recently accuse me of camping and tunneling when I put a Dream snare infront of the basement stairs and teleported back to it after an injured and asleep teammate tried rushing basement for a rescue. They DCed right after and I got to watch it from their twitch video, lol.
In this case there are counters for example. You just need to bodyblock the survivor injured, healing him into the basement (if you have time) , not getting hooked into the basement, or using borrowed time

You can't counter a complete killer win flashlights. They have few charges, you would have to be constantly looking at the ground for traps, every survivor would need to have one, and they are useless against traps in a chase.
That's because flashlights with the batteries can last 22 seconds. The fact is that if the hag places 3 traps in a triangular form under the hook they are useless, cuz the first trap that pops she will teleport immediately to them and
1 Wait for the rescuer to go away
2 Grab the rescuer right when he's rescuing the hooked guy.
P.s good killers don't fall for the old bait trick at hook

My point is that you're contradicting yourself.
If a Hag is picking up a survivor, you can blow up all of her traps if she's trapping an area or unhook a survivor basically unopposed. Her teleport also has a 15 second cooldown, so if you see her teleport away, you can run over those traps and waste them as well. If she's being super campy in an area, then push generators, just like you do when a killer normally camps.
There's a lot of options. Sometimes you don't always get to save the survivor on the hook. Don't play into the Hag's strength of her map defense and then complain that "there's no counter" to it. Play against her weaknesses instead.
@Shad03 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/663575#Comment_663575
Not until you're dead it's not.
The hag in this situation to win has to be sure the guy on the hook gets killed and patrol the gens in the same way.
When you've placed a minimum of 3 traps under the hook ( it takes 6 seconds) you can go wherever you want, patrol gens, maybe pop one of them with pop goes the weasel, injure and prevent them from doing them, and at the same time basically camp the hook. If they rescue the survivor, you're gonna down them both. Popping all traps it's just a waste of time for them , since you need only 6 seconds to replace them all
-
@Shad03 said:
Non-Issue.
Using up 2 add on slots and a perk slot, while also on a 15 second cooldown to using your power if you somehow accidentally use it too soon.
I understand it can be frustrating, but nerfing it to the ground will just summon more Nurses, Billys, and Spirits. This game needs both sides to continue playing, and blatant unneeded nerfs are not the solution. Both sides have to face against things they don'twant to, it's not bad design, it's people not liking to have a challenge.
In fact in this case there isn't a challenge. The challenge is already lost
-
@[Deleted User] said:

So there's zero counter unless you have this thing that counters the thing that has "no counter".
Okay.
Because only after I realised the solution was placing more traps (and this only if survivors have a flashlight)
-
@Hoodied said:
Oh whats this?
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/865/89Z13PGABZQR.png
Oh its hags counter no matter what
You just need 3 traps placed in a triangle to prevent the flashlight from destroying all the traps in one shot. So one traps survives, you teleport to that trap,and then you're (again) face to face with the rescuer
-
@Locker_Monster said:

You're literally just going to keep making up counters to any suggestion made. It's not possible to discuss with someone who just want to push and push and push to be right instead of accepting opposing viewpoints.
The point was that this build is unfair for the survivor hooked, so if all counters to this build are gone, I'm just right

If you keep replacing your traps, the gens are gonna get down.
Ok, but you keep another survivor there doing nothing. And replacing just 3 traps takes only 6 seconds
-
@NuclearBurrito said:
Trip the trap and wait for the Hag to teleport. Then unhook with borrowed time.
Or better yet, unhook from the side to avoid tripping the trap immediately. Yes you can still teleport to it but this way we get a head start and can avoid a free hit.
This strategy doesn't work. The hag teleports and you are now face to face with her. If you try to unhook she will just grab you
-
@Marcus said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/663412#Comment_663412
If she uses all her traps at hooks, then her counter is simply : loop her. Seriously, how do you get downed by a 110% speed killer who doesn't use her power to actually down you. Her traps are anyway more unreliable in chases with Mint Rag then without it. If she places multiple traps, you can also just switch the place with the person on the hook, while the other 2 survivors do gens.
- The only tough part is downing the first survivor. You can always use your traps, and if when you hooked a survivor you already placed a lot of them, just replace them all if you think they can have a flashlight, and make so that all traps placed while chasing disappear. Placing traps takes 2 seconds, so it's a maximum of 20 seconds.
- Skilled killers won't allow you to rescue another survivor without getting grabbed in this case.

It’s easy to just same something is broken and put the blame on that... instead of just getting better. Which is why I disagree with many posts of players claiming something is broken.
Also, I like Tofu but I find that saying the game is perfectly balanced is a bit of a stretch. It’s not balanced because it shouldn’t be and it won’t. There are always going to be areas whether small or big that are probably unintentionally more powerful than others.
Which IMO is absolutely fine... not everything needs to be balanced perfectly to have fun.
He didn't say it is perfectly balanced, he said it is not insanely broken as people think. In some situations (omegablinks) it can be broken

Except the power is actually in the survivors hands how long (or short) a chase is. As survivors get more competent, it’s not hard for them to realise that there is a fairly astonishing amount of ways for them to either extend chases, create distance, or both. A good killer will always be outshined by good survivors. There’s just far too many ways for them to avoid a hit or avoid being downed once they know what they’re doing, completely mitigating any risk of the killer finding them. Being found doesn’t matter, because the worst they’ll experience is getting injured (if it’s not a one hit down)
killers have to play using all their possibilities (moris) to kill survivors with meta perks. As well as being efficient to apply an Optimal map pressure.

Sandbagging is not bannable, just like being bad is not bannable.
The issue comes when someone actively tries to snipe over and over again to ruin someone's experience in multiple games. That counts as targeting and griefing.
Ok this is bannable, but let's suppose that you griefed in another way, and every match you waited just to meet as killer the streamer to chase and mori him, knowing his position. Would this be bannable? I mean, this could just be sniping, so not bannable. You know, unfortunately I found you as killer and now since I hate streamers Imma mori you.
No harrass, no griefing, just casually moring a streamer, coincidentally done multiple times
