For example gens are well placed in Coal Tower to avoid terror radius doctor and it doesnt take 1 minute to travel to the other side of the map with 110% killer.iTacoman said:@Laakeri said:
If survivors are good and want to just do gens and get out there is literally no possible way for any killer besides nurse to stop that.Is it survivors fault? No, its devs fault that they make maps as big as red forest and so on.
but if maps were smaller it'd be so easy for killers to 3 gen and patrol them constantly and hold the game hostage. Also killers like the doctor would be busted or anyone that runs distressing with other terror radius perks. It'd be too strong. BBQ and Chili helps you save time and tells you where to go as long as survivors aren't hiding so it can help you keep up the pressure and keep them busy and off of gens saving people.
-
What I do in these situations where Im taken hostage as killer is go afk in basement and hope for the best. So far it has always worked as survivors get bored.

People saying swf was ment to be in game. Then why game isnt balanced around it after 2.5 years?
I play solo or duo. And even duo feels like a god mode.
-
Worst thing you can do is look for them as that enables their toxic behaviour. Go afk in basement for 10 minutes and they have left as they get bored.
-
Worst thing about playing asian or russian killers is that their ping is very stable in lobby. But oh boy when the game starts the ping goes from stable 50 to spiking 50-600.
I cant understand how they do that and only thing I can do is to block the ping and leave.
US and Aus pings are both high in the lobby so I can leave before the match starts.

Honestly, camping isn't all that bad. Tunnelling is the problem. And the logic some people on this forum have said baffles me. One time someone said to me when a killer breaks a gen and you go back on it that's 'tunnelling a gen'. The equivalent to tunnelling is teabagging. Looping and camping are part of the gameJust like tunneling is part of the game.
Face it, its simply the time efficient solution to focus down on one survivor.Tbagging has no gameplay impact btw, its just toxic
[BAD WORD] tunnelers. It's acceptable when they tunnel you when there's 2 gens left, I won't get mad at that. But when one guy [BAD WORD] tunnels you when they have 4 gens left or for the whole game, it seriously pisses me off. It's a scummy way to win. I only accept tunneling when the killers got less time to secure kills.
Btw you're not getting me to change my mind on tunneling.
If somebody dies when there are 4 gens left survivors farmed their team mate off the hook, how is that killers fault?
-
I think its worth mentioning that the new medium vault made running most tiles with window extremely boring for survivor as now you can make multiple mistakes and still get away with it as how fast the medium vault is.
For example before you had to have some sort of skill to get fast vault if killer was running the shack properly. Now you can just hug the wall and take a medium vault back inside as its almost as fast taking a momentum by leaving the wall and getting a fast vault.

As always every event survivor side im against tryhards, full of nurses or billys, mori and op addons.
And if u want to play killer what happen? Take so long.
So the thing is, balance the game first or for me any event its just unfun and unplayable.
Am i the only one? Cmon be honest you're in the same boat with meI cant blame killers for going full tryhard considering how toxic most SWF's are during the event so killers have to bring their A game into every round and show no mercy.
In previous events every game I join as a survivor my team mates are 3man swf with insta heals, gen rush toolboxes and DS's.

Make it so that WGLF stack is given with the safe unhook. Now straight after unhook.

A message to all killers. I never understood why people are afraid to fight any sort of survivors. Are you not a confident killer? Do you think you're bad? I don't get it. I understand killers have almost instantaneous wait times but survivors do not. I can't tell you how annoying it is to wait 10-15 minutes to find a game just to get dodged, sometimes 3 or 4 times in a row.Stop being afraid of SWF groups, half the time i get dodged I'm only a group of 2 people. Sometimes people join up all at once, regardless of them being in a SWF together or not. Ontop of killers being afraid of specific survivors (???) I still dont understand that stigma. "Ope nope. I can't kill them, they have a claudette on the team. Time to dodge"
So TLDR killers, please stop dodging us. We understand you find games instantly but we do not.
-sincerely,
survivors and our ridiculous wait times.I'll dodge a SWF team that comes in with four flashlights. Obviously, they're looking to frustrate me as much as possible, which means I'll have to play extra sweaty to counter it. It isn't a matter of confidence, it's a matter of annoyance. Particularly considering if I'm facing a SWF team, I'm far more likely to burn my best add-on's, but get the same or fewer points as my reward.
But SWF are a pain in the ass anyway. In solo queue matches, if I catch a survivor at my totem, or they happen to loop me past it, only that survivor knows where it is, and I can focus extra attention on them. In SWF, everyone knows. This goes for trap placement and perks as well. If I surprise one survivor with Spirit Fury, I can still use that against the next survivor, and then the next... except in SWF. Once it's used the first time, all the survivors know and will throw pallets earlier to nullify my perk. The same can be done to nullify Make Your Choice and many other perks which, more or less, depend on survivors behaving in particular ways. With traps, since one person seeing it placed means everyone knows, the other members of the team can move in behind me and disarm or remove the trap they never would have otherwise known was there.
Furthermore, relatively few SWF groups are what they should be. If I'm a rank 10 killer, for example, and a SWF team joins in, I may be facing two rank 1's, along with a 15 and 10. Obviously, for less experienced killers, the match is going to go very differently and far more frustratingly than against four players with more or less the same experience and skill as himself.
What's really funny though are how many survivors, who play SWF primarily, complain that they face Nurse, Billy and Spirit in almost every match. The killer may not have planned to play those killers, but to counter SWF, they are the best choices.
Of course, you know all this, because these are the advantages you enjoy while playing SWF. That you're complaining that another player may not want to play against that demonstrates just how little empathy you have for other players. I'd recommend you stop complaining about being dodged, and make suggestions for how to make matchmaking better, or how to give Killers some other balance when facing SWF teams, or at least an incentive to play against them.
I would take 4 flashlights over even 2 toolboxes any day. You know they are all flashlight fkboys and you are going to have easy game.
-
Camp and tunnel.
Why? I play both sides and I know how sh*tty it is for the rest of the survivors to have such an anti mate.
-
Vs sweaty swf I go Sloppy, Deerstalker, Nurses and NOED and just slug them. My normal build is Whispers, M&A, Sloppy and BBQMegMain98 said:@Laakeri said:
Spirit with anal beads is my go to.I only use beads + amulet combo vs swf with items as that combo is not fun to play as survivor.
I do love the Prayer Beads alongside Ruin and Thrill. An easy way to pull survivors off of totems but a lot of times SWF will find out both totems and one person will go to each totem and force you to chose one. Or they’ll just tap it and run.
While I love Spirit’s potential at destroying SWF, Nurse is the best. She can go around the map easier with Ataxic Respiration. She can guard totems a bit easier than Spirit can.
-
Forever in r1 and maybe 1 minute in mid ranks.
Why waste time looking for totem when you can just hit great skillchecks and become a machine in games where there isnt ruin? -

The way she is getting worse is that BHVR's map designer keeps making "fun looking" instead of balanced maps and Huntress is one that suffers the most. She is beast in MacMillans, but hardly a #4 killer in average due how bad maps are for her.

Saddens me to see that people still think that popular streamer means they are one of the best.
@HawkAyeTheNoo said:
Tru3 should go watch a good killer in action like Zubat and he'll learn how to slaughter survivors without the need to camp or tunnel. Its common mistake to think that popular streamer means they are actually good / one the best at the game they are playing.
I used to watch Tru3 and Hexy back in 2016 for the gameplay, but as soon as I got better in game I realized they are not even close to being one of best (even tho they give the idea to their viewers), they are just entertainers.
-
No Mither can be viewed as cocky perk, just like OoO.
"I dont need 2 health stages to beat you" so maybe thats why you got camped?
-
2 situations where I tbag as survi when fellow survi is getting moried or killer is trying to bloodlust me on safe pallet.
As a killer only tbag that bothers me is I could have killed this tbagger 150 times, but I let them live and they reward me with afking and tbagging on exit gate without giving hits. -
Spirit with anal beads is my go to.
I only use beads + amulet combo vs swf with items as that combo is not fun to play as survivor. -
I would love to face 4 flashlights over even 2 toolboxes any day or night.KissyKissy said:If I see 4 Meg's all with flashlight, im leaving lobby and there is nothing you can do about it.

How can somebody with like 5k hours not know how to play shack as killer?
Also ignores people on nearly completed gen to tunnel?
This video would be great for oh_tofus "improving your gameplay" serie, but I dont think he wants to burn any bridges. -
Op it seems you are very unlucky, or maybe YOU are the reason why killers dodge?
We cant know, but I play solo or duo and I rarely get dodged more than few times in a row. -
Claudette became my main as my friend suggested to level Meg for SB as it was 20 sec cd back in the day and then level up Claudette for SC + SB combo.
-
One can only hope that one day CWF and Nurse both gets balanced.
Too bad its never going to happen.
-
Tru3 has like 5k hours and still doesnt know how to play shack?
Impressive.
-
Even if you catch the DS user in 20 seconds thats 3 survivors doing generators for extra 20 seconds.
So 3/4th of the generator gets completed cuz survivor managed to hit a skill check. Now if all 4 survivors have DS thats 3 generators worth of time lost for killer.
There is a reason why DS is getting changed. And most good survivors refuse to use it.
-
If you use such addons vs surviors without items you should expect them to leave.
-
Sadly this happens even in "real life" industry.
No competition is bad as there is no pressure to provide quality. -
Billy is most fun killer to face against. Strong killer that punishes survivor from misplaying while still gets pallet looped like any other m1 killer.
-
@Doc_W__HOLLIDAY said:
Hillbilly is perfectly balanced. All killers should be at his power level. He's one of, if not, my favorite killer to face.Same. If I could I would only play vs BBQ Billys as they hook and sprint to the other side of the map to start a new chase.
-
Bond, its also my crutch and I cant live without it.
It has made me really efficent and I rarely leave game without +20k points.
-
I wouldnt mind them removing bs addons and offerings from both sides that are unfun to play against.
-
Ranking took some effort with release emblems but it was too much for casuals so it was changed so its almost impossible to derank.
-
Almost every game.
Im Bond gamer to make myself efficent yet every game I end up questioning how did my team mates got out of r20. Urban evaders crab walking and hiding as soon as they hear terror radius and when they get chased they throw pallets left and right without even looking where killer is.
Most painful thing is to watch team mate camping god pallet and still getting hit while using the pallet. -
Sure your average r1 urban evasion survivor will get bodied by most seasoned r1 Billys or Nurses. But I personally still feel that the potential of individual survivor is too high to nerf strongest killers.
Take Coldwind Farm maps for example. Survivor with 100h played can run a killer thats loopable for 3 gens even when killer has 5k hours under his belt cuz there is 0 outplay potential in transparent walls.
-
I dont think corn is the problem.
It's that killer has 0 outplay potential on Coldwinds transparent walls
-
I hate the fact that even when I duo with my friend we get so much information from each other, we even both run Bond to make it basically 3.5 perk game for us, we also dont use cruches, offerings or items.
Simple "hey ruin is in this jungle gym ill kite him away so you can get it" is game changing information that shouldnt exist in first place.
So yeah I play duo at max, and I'm all for nerfing SWF as its absurd how far you can take the advantage that SWF offers.
-
I solo or duo que and we rarely get dodged. We both have open profile and dont use items.
-
I find myself more and more defending killer after the game as there seems to be increasing number of toxic survivors these days.
Or maybe its just cuz I only have time to play during weekends atm? -
Good old red skill bar with no effect perk. Gotta love it when killers I play against use 3 perks instead of 4.
-
@Shadoureon said:
Glad we had a stream where they showed less than 50% survival rate on all platforms. This proofs that all the killers crying for nerfs on the forum are just bad killers. If DS was gutted that would mean survivors might actually have to become good instead of relying on crutch so the change would most likely increase the survival rate.
-
I agree that things that are not fun to opponent should be looked at. SWF / Items / Addons / Perks
-
I personally play how I want to be played against on both sides. On survi no items, crutches, semi-infinites or bs offerings (haddonfield, mist etc). And no addons as killer that suck the fun of the game (insta saw billy etc).
Sure if I loop killer for 4 gens I expect nothing less than camp. But on average I dont get camped or I camp people who play for fun.
-
SB is most consistent exhaustion perk as it requires no condition. You only save it when you go work on unsafe generator, but otherwise keep running from place to place
Balanced Landing can be used in most maps, but dead perk in some maps.
DH is really good vs bad killers (99%), but vs good killers you get 1 use of it.
I have heard some rumours about Lithe getting changed so you dont need to be in chase which would make it more consistent exhaustion perk.
-
Doesnt matter whether you want the costumes or not you still have to deal with 99% of the community that wants them.
-
Played 1 round of killer yesterday and it seems most survis are already done with the event so I was only one that used offering. 15min que for half a vial gg.

That’s exactly the problem. 1 killer accounts for 4 survivors. Every survivor who finishes their side (which is faster than killer) will go to killer. This will create MASSIVE matchmaking issues.Yikes. Maybe I should go for those 30 killer vials now then. I'm a 50/50 player, but had opted to start with mostly survivor games. Sounds like killer first would be a better route, and switch to survivor when all the scrubs go to killer.
Yes the ques for killers will actually get much worse in next few days as all survivors are switching to do killer side of the event.
-
We used to have shorter hook timers so survivors actually were pressured when somebody got hooked. You can prolly quess why it got changed.
-
Oh the good old event for killers. "run these 3-4 specific perks just to get people into event hooks" while still trying to maintain pressure on survivors with literally 0 perks that help on chase or finding the survivors.
