Just when someone only plays one side and complains about things on the other side being op or unfair, but will defend anything on their side when people say the same thing about their perks etc.
I play both so I know their are some things that could use adjustments on both sides, but there are also some things that get complained about which I understand are actually fine because I play both.

You make some good points. I just think she should have visual and audio signs that she's using her power in chase like every other killer.
-
I just enjoy that now when survivors see a secret offering when loading into the match someone doesn't dc and leave the rest in a infinite loading screen.
-
Prime bait good sir, but not good enough. 🥱
-
This must be bait, surely no one can be that idiotic.

Friday the 13th, played it constantly when it came out.

@Antrapace I play killer in the evening when getting a lobby as a survivor takes too long. Matchmaking is all over the place in both modes but I think you're right that evenings are even worse.
@Kirkylad Sadly the killer to survivor ratio won't improve as a result. Matchmaking feels almost non-existent to me. At the most one survivor is properly matched with the killer.
@MikeyBoi Interesting. I remember when the matchmaking started using the lowest rank survivor in a SWF as base. I have some fond memories of finally not having to wait 20+ minutes in queue as rank 20 killer but being matched with SWF groups with 3 red ranks and one rank 20 survivor. And the red ranks doing everything in their power to protect the "baby survivor" from the big bad killer. Then it got changed to use the highest rank as base. I'd be surprised if it has been reverted.
@Karao_Ke I just came back from a half year break myself and I'll be gone again before long. Meanwhile I've had some fun times on my other killers but mostly on survivor learning to be efficient and to make the best of a match with a random team. I got excited to try learning Plague again but god, it's been rough... The not existent matchmaking is accelerating the process of making DbD more trouble than it's worth again XD
Yeah unless they get more people playing killer MMR is just going to be pretty redundant tbh.

When I play killer I can't be bothered slugging for the 4K anymore it just drags it out and id rather take the chance and move onto the next match quicker. The only time I would is if I down the 3rd and see the 4th straight after. Although I have to say when you play "nice" and leave it up to however finds it first only to find the last survivor making a lot of noise and teabagging on the hatch I can certainly see why some killers do it. Some survivors play like that and make the killers wish they had slugged and they're usually the same ones that roast you in end game chat or messages if you do slug.

i dont get why the full rework? I think the add ons are just reasonable, EXCEPT IRI HEAD. its just and exposed add on. + infantry belt, makes you have 6 chances of exposed attacks, thats too much.
They'll more than likely be getting rid of the exhaustion add ons as well like they have with clown.
-
To many survivors and not enough killers to go round so you just get thrown in with however has been waiting the longest.
We can hope MMR myn't help but I don't know how it would fix that problem honestly.
-
It really sucks had the same myself last match got matched with 3 rank 20's and a rank 20 killer. I'm devotion 12 so this should never happen.
At least you managed to power through and get plenty of bp and a pip.
-
It would be good if you could just disable it in the options menu and also get a symbol next to your name so the other players know you won't see what they're typing.
-
They have said they plan on nerfing it and reworking huntress add ons soon. She'll more than likely be the next one to be looked at in the mid chapter after the next new killer is released.
-
Sounds interesting a bit more of a buff to speed crawling could be good. Also a cool buff could maybe be to remove the blood trail while crawling.
-
Honestly I'd say the twins are the only bad egg in the group very week unless you go for a slug build and even then it's easily countered with perks or survivors sticking together to kick victor after he takes the other one down.
Deathslinger is very good in the right hands if you're a master at cod or any shooter you can be sure to do well. He does suffer with map pressure however.
Pyramid head is very powerful and negates ds unbreakable making him one of the top killers.
Oni is very good has a great power and is really strong with some practice, fun to play as and go against. I haven't seen to much of him lately for some reason but I usually have a fun match going against him win or lose.
Blight is decent but falls sort of middle of the pack compared to most killers, however in the right hands he definitely has potential to do very well.
I think they've done well with the last bunch all there powers are different and fun to use. Even twins has a great concept but is just poorly executed.
-
Aww wholesome end game chat, now that's what we like to see 😊😊
-
I think that's the thing though you only critique a game and make suggestions for changes because you want the game to do well and be all it can be.
I think if people stopped then that's when the devs should worry because it would mean people didn't care anymore.
-
Because they only listen to the sound of money being spent on dlcs and cosmetics.
-
Don't pay attention to people like this they're miserable in real life so they take it out on random people online.
No matter what they say just type Gg wp :) because that will annoy them more than anything else you can say. Remember they're looking to get a reaction out of you so just don't give them what they want.

lmao I wave my arms when the killer leaves just to stand out in the crowd
😂😂
-
I just wish newer survivors could have a news letter sent out so they know to either wave their arms on the hook to let others know they're being camped, or if someone's doing that they're being camped so just do gens.
-
It depends if someone uses it on its own or with a key. If I see a p3 Claudette in the lobby with a key and then it shows up on the offering screen I already know where she's gonna be chilling all match.
-
I don't understand it if I say anything it's gg regardless of how the match has been.
Even if I'm playing survivors doing I get tunnelled, camped, slugged etc I still don't complain because if that person wants to play like that and it isn't breaking any rules then they have the right to play like that, now I don't have to like it however that doesn't give me the right to have a go at a stranger on a game because of how they played.
-
The problem is that there isn't enough killers to go around for the amount of people playing survivor so once someone's been waiting for a match beyond a certain point they're just going to pair them with the next available killer.
This is why killer queues are instant because it's looking to put you against who has been waiting longest instead of people your own rank.
MMR is coming out soon but it won't fix the issue of to many survivors and not enough killers so it will either not work or if it does then queues will get even longer than they are now and I don't think that's something the devs or the players want to happen.

I've tried going to therapy in the past but I felt like it wasn't going anywhere, it'd become like a chore to go because it wasn't helping. The therapist was nice but I felt like he didn't understand me at all.

I've contemplated telling my friends how I've felt in the past but I just don't want them to think I'm needy. Even if they do notice me more after that they'll probably just hang out with me out of pity, which is a terrible feeling because then they'll just be dragging me along everywhere. I want to hang out with them as their equal, not some baggage.

Do you know the name of one of those websites? I think talking to someone in more detail could probably help
I've been to doctors in the past but I've never really been diagnosed with anything. I guess I might've left details out when talking to them because my parents try to use mental illness against me. At the same time though I really don't think I have anything and I wouldn't want to self-diagnose. Just not in a great spot I guess
Thank you again for the replies, and I'm really sorry if I seem a bit close-minded, I'm not trying to be
There's a website called Sane but there are many more I'm sure if you take a look online.
You should still go to the doctors and explain to him just like you have explained here about how you feel and you must be open and honest with him. How your parents or anyone's feels about the stigma that's attached to mental health is not important and the only thing that matters is getting you the help you need to get yourself in a good place and making sure your life is on the right track.

It's certainly more of a challenge on console but it's definitely doable. Check out supa Alf on YouTube he learnt nurse on console and he's one of the best around.
When it comes down to nurse she's just takes time and a lot of practice to be good but she also takes a huge amount of practice and hours being put into solely playing her to be anywhere near god nurse level.
-
I think one of the problem is sometimes people can get frustrated and angry at the game and use the forum to release there frustrations instead of taking time to calm down so you can think more logically about how you feel and put things across in a better way.
People's thoughts and opinions when they're angry or upset are often much different than when they are feeling more calm and rational.
-
You have perks that have positive effects when a player is injured so it would defeat the point of them being in the game tbh.
Plus survivors need an incentive to heal, if they want to make a build around being injured they can but to make that base would just make it more likely that survivors wouldn't try to heal which is part of the games mechanic and would make healing perks, medkits and getting healed by teammates redundant.
being injured should be a risk because that makes survivors more likely to want to heal.
-
I'm in the EU servers and it's the opposite for me tbh. Pretty much instant lobbies and everyone's more likely to be near the same rank. It's just the evenings where it's rainbow ranks and longer waiting times.
-
That's a good point actually just checked mine and it's the same as well. Maybe it's a bug or mistake because they've always been 2000 as far as I'm aware. Either way someone should look into it and amend it to the right price if that's the case.
-
You need to speak to someone. Your school should have a counsellor who is able to help you with how you're feeling and help to try and guide you through. You would be surprised how many people feel the same way you do so you aren't alone.
There are websites to be able to speak to people online that are feeling the same way you are and I know it isn't the same as speaking to someone in person but it is still human interaction and can help build your confidence.
Most importantly though you need to make an appointment with your doctor and see if he can help to assess your situation and see what the best method is to help. Honestly it sounds like this could be a mixture of anxiety and depression because I have been where you are now and I know how awful it feels. Your doctor may prescribe you some medication but it really can be for the best to help level out the way you think and help shift the negative feelings out of your head so you can make room for the positive ones.
A lot of how you feel about how people think about you is in your head and being able to get help to clear out those negative thoughts will help you to see that, otherwise because you feel this way you will continue to push people away and the situation will honestly just get worse.
Like i mentioned I have been where you are before and I've pushed people away because I thought it was for the best and they didn't want to be around me anyway but that honestly wasn't the case. I was the one closing myself off and bringing myself down and also others around me because of it but once I spoke to someone and got help and also went on medication it was like I tore down the rain clouds above me and the sun started shining again.
I hope you get the help you need and feel a lot better <3
-
They just need to make them less expensive. It's doesn't make sense that I can buy 3 dlcs and get 3 new killers, 3 new survivors and 24 new perks to play with or I can buy a legendary skin instead that makes one character look different and nothing else. I just don't see the logic behind it.
-
An idea could be to just make the last person alive be able to be moried and give a cool animation to finish the match. Also change keys so they only work if the last person in a match has one and the killers already closed the hatch. Just an idea but I don't really mind where mori's are now and we will see what the key change brings.
-
It's the same for both sides killer and survivor. Some players try hard because they just want to win and others just want to have fun and don't care either way. It's just people's mind set when it comes to gaming.
-
They should just remove perk tiers. I understand why they put them in when the first game came out because there weren't many and they have to bulk up the blood web. But now there are so many characters to get them on and perks to unlock that it's not needed anymore.
-
If someone's doing that go through the proper reporting procedure and if you have a video even better and hopefully this can get resolved.
Don't put it on the forums though because it's classed as naming and shaming someone and it isn't allowed.
-
I like going online on a random perk simulator when I want to make things more interesting. Playing with the same perks can get stale and playing with ones you wouldn't normally think of keeps things interesting and can help change up your playstyle based on what you bring. Plus getting perks like no mither and OoO as solo is always pretty funny.
-
It happens in ever PvP game and none of the others are looking to remove it so I doubt dbd will either.
I understand it can be frustrating sometimes especially if you feel like you are fighting a losing battle in a match, however they are just pressing the crouch button so it really shouldn't be taken to seriously. It's just a game after all.
-
I'm not sure on my hours but I'm devotion lvl 12 and I've been playing this game for a long time.
I think how long this game last now is mainly up to whether or not a new game comes on the market that captures the same feel that dbd has for a lot of people. When that happens the community could get smaller but I think even if it does the game will still be around for a good 5+ years yet.
Honestly I think a bit of healthy competition would be the best thing for this game because it would make the devs put in 100% to new game chapters and make sure to be doing there best to entice players into the game with cosmetics you can earn with event currency and just bigger and better changes like they did when they first started growing. Sadly atm they are focusing more on monetisation and less on the overall Heath and quality of the game.
-
BT combats camping and Mad grit combats body blocking.
-
You're equating survivors teabagging and flashlight clicking the killer to real world issues like racism, sexism and homophobia. Sorry but that's one hell of a reach and there is no comparison whatsoever.
-
Solos pretty much a coin toss, so it's 50/50 whether its going to be a good or bad match.
-
It can get tedious, however I usually just skip over them tbh and move on.

Twins are fun if you don't care about winning but have zero viability. They're kinda like Wraith to me, fun but entirely add-on/perk reliant to the point you can just simply be out perked by the Survivors.
Yeah I agree they are fun to play when you're having one of those days were you just wanna have a laugh, meme around and play chill. But if you want to win against a decent team she just doesn't cut it.
-
I don't really mind going against any perk combos tbh the only one that has the chance to be oppressive is ruin undying but that's only if undying doesn't get cleansed first or they don't manage to find it. Either way though that's getting changed shortly so it doesn't really matter mostly I just wish there was more variety but that's more to do with the problem that there's around 10 good perks for either side and the rest are filler perks or situational ones.
