  • It was. I used to be able to sit and play for hours on end, but now I've been playing less and less and I no longer have the urge to play that much anymore. If I do play I play about 3-4 matches and that's it because all the matches are either boring or frustrating now. It's become rare now to actually have a fun and exciting game.

  • Leather face was okay when they brought out a second because he used his in a different way than hillbilly. But now I think they wouldn't bring out another because I can't think of any other way one could be used without them just seeming the same as either of them.

  • It's a decent perk if you don't have any other exhaustion perks on a survivor you're levelling up. Otherwise I would go for either sprint burst or dead hard.

  • Object of obsession should be changed to actually fit the name and only work if you're the obsession. So if you're the only player with object you're guaranteed to be the obsession unless some uses ds or the killer has the perk nemesis. This will also make the perk nemesis actually useful if it is brought on its own and not just as part of an obsession based build.

  • I go into every match with a clean slate and figure out what type of team it is. If you can tell it's a bunch of solos or a not so great SWF then I'll take it easy and let everyone have some fun. If it's a sweaty SWF then it's all guns blazing and may the best man win.

  • BNP just consumes the add on, the best to pair it with though would probably be a commodious with extra charges so if you use it at the beginning or half way through a gen you still have charges to get the rest of the gen done as soon as possible.

  • A killer can only get to rank 1 camping if the survivors he plays against allow him to get to rank 1 by camping.

  • It's really sad when people bad mouth strangers in chat over a video game. However I must admit there is a part of me that just loves letting them know they don't get to me. I just type gg wp :) or if they've said something really bad before it I'll usually add "aww that's really sweet" or "that's the nicest thing I've heard all day". There's nothing funnier than watching them get more upset because they haven't upset you and got what they wanted.

  • Mines the same your first nurse 4K is great because you know you've really earned it.

Well done and keep it up man 👍🏻

  • No you can't get perma banned I think the max is either 24 hour or 48. I'm not sure never disconnected that much. If I was to have a bad enough match to dc or even just want to dc that's when I know it's time to play another game and leave dbd for the rest of the day so it wouldn't affect me anyway.

  • I agree but least Matthieu pointed out it's not just about statistics it's also about how it feels to go against. As we know it's mainly a broken perk when paired with SWF. The only times I have used it is when I play solo and I've done a random perk generator match and it's more of a hinderance than it is helpful.

  • Not really, I understand sometimes it can feel like there's no escaping his chainsaw but only if you get caught out in the open against him, if you loop him while hugging the sides of the loop you can usually get him to hit the shade and then run away while he's in his 4 hour tantrum. Besides there are so many insta down killers, perks and add ons you just gotta shrug your shoulders and go down in one sometimes.

I liked seeing Nancy because I was all, "Hey that actress is really good looking. It'll be fun to chase her!" Then is seems every Nancy I play against is a looping master and teabagger extraordinaire with an effing flashlight. Now I hate seeing that stuck up broad! (I know, I know, git gud noob!)

I understand completely I love me a cute lil dweet so when one is toxic I feel betrayed and it hurts my heart 😂

Eh, they’re all just re-skins of each other. Kinda like asking if red plays any different from blue.

Would be nice if there was actually some permanent differentiation between survivors.

I get that I just know some players myn't have a soft spot for certain survivors. I know if I find a dweet injured and crouched clutching his stomach in a corner just looking up at me I can't help but leave him and give him a second chance to get away.

She is probably salty because she lost because of her team, she could have run him for 10 minutes without 1 gen getting popped or someone used all the palllets because they are newbies.

Rank doesn´t reflect the skill level that´s why they are getting changed.

plus he could have tunneled/camped her but doesn´t matter anyway.

Only embarrassing thing here is for me to have to expalin this.

I play solo so I know how it goes sometimes and he said he didn't camp so I'm going off that. But either way no matter how you feel after a match it's not okay to bad mouth a stranger on an online game trying to have fun because you're upset you lost a match. It's more embarrassing to have to explain that honestly.

  • I like to go off hooks more than kills so if 2 escape but I've got 10 hooks I've still played well. Besides as long as I have fun a 4K or a 3K with hatch escape (basically same thing) is great but Isnt everything because I understand sometimes your going to go against players with more hours than you or are just better and they will have a better chance at escaping, and that's okay.

Besides survivors have to have some matches where they escape or there isn't much point in them readying up to try and play. Plus some people get to hung up on getting a 4K and get to bothered about it honestly, most people with a lot of hours understand this and just focus on hooks and having fun.

  • Imagine being a rank 1 survivor and being mad because you lost to a rank 9 bubba who didn't camp or tunnel and didn't use his power. Honestly you can only laugh at people like this it's embarrassing how they have to bad mouth the other side because they're so salty they lost. I mean jeez just take the L on the chin and say gg and move on lol.

  • I understand it can be annoying sometimes but sometimes you just get camped, sometimes you get slugged or tunnelled, sometimes none of these happen. Just ready up roll the dice and see what happens and if it does just try to work on being able to get better in chases so even if you get caught first you can get some bp and take it on the chin and move onto the next match.

  • The one that bothers me the most is during end game and they get downed at the exit gate and either they crawl out of you pick them up and get hit with ds. Either way they get a guaranteed free escape but still feel the need to be like haha gg ez baby killer. It's honestly embarrassing tbh.

  • This only happens when the killer just isn't that good. A decent killer would either be able to catch him or if not they would understand to leave him for now. Less experienced killers will lose the game because they don't know how to do this and then be mad at the survivor because being good at the game and being able to loop the killer is toxic to them some how. Honestly if this happens to me as survivor all you can do is laugh honestly and even if I die on hook, being able to loop you for so long that my team escapes and on top of that you're salty about it is a big win to me lol.

  • Same dodge keys if paired with multiple p3 claudettes because you know they are just in a bush all match till hatch appears.

Also a full team of default megs, I'm sorry but I have to much PTSD from having them in matches so a full team is just to much lol.

  • 100% it got to me when I first started but after so many hours you know there's always going to be players who want to do it so just shrug it off and don't worry about it. Besides why upset yourself over what someone's doing in a video game, I'm to grown to be worrying about things like that.

  • When I first started I thought tunnelling and camping was always wrong but now I know it completely depends on the situation and if it's a viable strat. I mean I still think if you're straight back on a solo queue baby dweet who went down in 5 secs at the start and no gens have been done yet there's no need for it. However it can be the best strat in certain situations like tunnelling if SWF are rushing gens ( just make sure you're tunnelling the weak one). Also camping against an overly altruistic team all desperate to rush in for the insta save is always the best option. Either give me a reason to leave or all stay here and roast some marshmallows on the campfire. 🔥🔥

  • I can understand if this can be frustrating depending on how many hours you have in the game. But honestly you just answered your own question either insta down perk/power and/or blood warden. Otherwise just go to the gate and hit them out, hey you never know they myn't make a dumb mistake and you're able to pick them up before they crawl out. But otherwise just remember all they are doing is pressing a button in a video game so it's really not worth getting yourself upset over.

  • Playing against oni wearing nothing but some bandages would honestly be to much for me to handle 😂😂.

  • If you're just starting killer there is just a steep learning curve. When i first started I tried 3 matches then didn't try again for 4 months and just played survivor. But with what I learned about survivors playstyle from matches and watching youtubers videos and picking up tips from them I jumped back in and did well and started climbing rank. Maybe also doctor isn't the one for you to start off, I tried with a few and wasn't having much luck until i got clown and even though he's been classed as one of the worst killers at lower ranks his power helped a lot in chases and I started doing well, then I was confident enough to move onto more difficult killers to master. Experiment with a few killers and don't give up. Best of luck in your matches. 😊

  • MMR has a chance of working if more people start readying up to play killer. Otherwise to avoid longer queue times you'll get a top % rank 1 team of survivors going against a decent rank 8 killer who even though they're good at a the game they're just not at the top % level and then they'll stop playing and it will get worse from there. The only chance is if the MMR change gets people to try killer again because I think a lot don't try because of the matchmaking. But honestly with more people playing survivor even if it works I doubt you'd get a rank 1 spirit/nurse every match because there aren't enough to go around.

  • You're entitled to your opinion but I don't think nerfing one of the least picked killers is the right way to go.

  • All those situations are fine. It's honestly funny though how many run at you with BT then are shocked when you know they have it and wait it out lol. I mean any killer with more than 50 hours in the game knows you either have BT or you're really bad at the game, but either way you deserve to go down.

  • Farmings okay if everyone wants to do it but if someone wants to leave and move on just let them. You can still farm with the rest that want to but some people can't stand farming, so either just leave them alone to do gens and get out or let them suicide on hook to leave ASAP if they want to.

i mean maybe. But when asked about if they turned it on, they said no. But man is this so bad.. 2 rank one killers in a row now. with me at rank 7 and my friend at 15.. no one on the team was red rank either.

The ranks haven't been this bad in a long time so I really wouldn't be surprised. Plus they may have said no but even though I like the devs and all if they said the sky was blue id still look out of my window just to check lol.

I was being sarcastic. Even a totem counter is another benefit to survivors.

And a benefit to killers encouraging survivors to find totems and take time away from doing gens. Win win for both sides.

  • They've probably but MMR back on without telling anyone so if it's an epic fail like last time they can just take it off and not say anything and try it again at a later date.

  • I mean when they get lobbies instantly if they see an obvious SWF or a key or worse a key and a map I mean I can't blame them really.

Yeah, and base kit aura reading of the location of all gens and totems for all survivors too. Why not?

I'm sorry but I don't understand how you'd equate a totem counter to being able to see all totems and gens on the map all the time for survivors? It would emphasis the fact that totems are a second objective and hopefully get more survivors doing them which means time away from gens while they look for them and cleanse them. Isn't that good for everyone?

I just fake vault the window and if they slide over the pallet I can get them.

Fair enough just trying to be nice and offer advise

  • Most of they're trying to mind game a pallet like that are going to try a few times which would result in losing around 20 seconds which can make a big difference if the other survivors are efficient on gens.

  • I'm surprised honestly with how complained about it is. However I think if they just added a totem counter this would help especially solos out with this and also add emphasis to the fact that totems are a second objective. If they did this I don't think they would have to change noed in any way.

Nah, I just do it for fun.

If they fall for it, then I know I'm dealing with some truly ascended gamers, so I don't need to sweat.

I mean it's certainly good for finding out if you are but I'd just be worried that if you are going against some real gamers by the time you realise they're not you've lost a couple of gens finding out.

  • Some people just like to complain or be toxic no matter how the match goes. They die and it's because you are a tunnelling camping trash killer even if you didn't do either of these things. They win and it's gg ez baby killer so best thing is to just say gg to these people and move on because they mostly only do it just to bait you into giving them a reaction. Although I do love when the survivors 3 gen themselves and then keep making loud noises on the other side of the map or get hit and then run to the opposite side of the map and get mad because you don't leave the 3 gen that they created themselves.

  • Some breakable walls are pointless but some benefit the killer to break them. It would be a good idea if they removed the pointless ones and added more that benefitted the killer to actually break. Then I think it would be great to let the survivors be able to build them back up again which could take as long as cleansing a totem maybe.

  • If you know they don't have ds just hook them or if you're going to slug expect someone myn't have it. Unbreakable was designed for survivors to have a counter to slugging so it shouldn't be removed for doing what it's designed to do.

  • They myn't be worried about them getting nerfed soon or just really want to make sure they escape. Only time I've used a key is if I find it in a chest but I only only use it I f I need to, otherwise I leave through exit and add it to my collection. Only time I've ever brought one in to use is when the archives have challenges to use them.

  • I had a killer try and mind game the god pallet when it was down for ages and it was honestly just hilarious. Sorry man but even bloodlust 3 isn't going to get you a hit. You have to know when to just break the pallet.

  • Survivor sat on a gen: oh I just revealed ghostface apparently but I have no idea where he is?!?

Survivor stood right in front of him: I'm staring at him but nothings happening? Oh no I'm exposed oh now I'm dead, damn should have played better I guess.

  • If you're the last survivor alive the only place the killers going to be is in front of the hook waiting for you to die so if you get off you're going straight back down. Plus if there's an obsession their then going to slug you for a minute and then put you back on the hook. I'd honestly rather just die on the hook and move onto the next match instead of wasting mine and the killers time.

  • It's a fun build but can be very subjective if you get to use it or not. I'll try it every now and again but using a full build were you can go through a match not being able to make use out of any of your perks is less fun and more of a hinderance.

  • I don't focus on trying to escape anymore I just try my best and focus on doing as much as I can to pip so at least if I die I still pip and it feels like a win.

  • There are a lot of crutch and broken things on both side but honestly the main problem with this issue is unless you're playing SWF you're going to get difficult matches. I play both sides so I completely understand why killers can think survivors are op but I also play solo survivor so I understand survivors aren't op but SWF can be. If you only play one side though it can mean that you don't get that and can just end up feeling like the other side is op.

Ive gone against many death squads, and only a handful have actually bodied my Nurse, and I have maybe 150-200 hours on her alone, and a little over 3,400 in total

If you've got to that level then good for you I'm just going off content creators who main nurse, supa Alf for example who's probably one of the best nurse players in the game. You should check out his YouTube he was doing a win streak and I think last time I checked he had gone past 150+ 4ks in a row:

1 … 30 31 32 33 34 35
