Tell that the Red Rank 1 killer that only camps.
If that killer gets everyone that's the survivors fault for not just doing gens and getting out.
-
I think the only unfair one is the last second switch and builds should be locked in to give the killer time to prepare.
Otherwise the good old green key mind game is a pretty funny gamer move lol.

Suiciding on hook should be reportable.
AFKing IS reportable.
So if someone AFKs after being saved; they can be reported for it, at the very least.
And if they run up to me and don't try to get away after being unhooked; I'm reporting them AND slugging them.
Yes because reporting people for afking always works lol. I've gone against killers who afk to derank for years and nothing gets done about it and nothing ever will be done about it.
Besides even if it did then they would just run at the killer to leave the match, they'll always find a way around it no matter what.
-
They can bring the penalty back but people will just suicide on hook again and just go afk if someone saves them in time. The dc penalty does nothing if someone's decided they don't want to play the match anymore.
-
Or the team just do gens and punish them for camping. Camping killers only 4K if the survivors allow them to.
-
This would be great once console is fixed because you can't blame them for dcing when the games in the state it is right now for them.
-
There are no rules, play however you want and remember other peoples problems aren't your problem.
-
While console is broken to play on right now I can't ever blame them for dcing.
-
While the game is broken for console I can't blame any of them for dcing with what they have to put up with right now.

Eh, if I get gen rushed, at least I can have a hook unless all 4 are playing stealthy on a survivor favored map. If I get tunneled early, I get one chase, I guess. I just had a sub 3 minute game where once gens were popping that fast, I dropped a Shack chase to go and hook someone else. Grabbed my crown, broke a few walls, and opened the gate myself. I still got over 10k points and left feeling slightly perturbed.
I got tunneled out of a game and got like 3k points or something and had to wait for it to end because my sister was still playing. I would be lying if I said I wasn't seething.
I feel there is a bit of a difference. I can still play as killer, and I still get points. As survivor, I only get to play for one chase, and I guess the pitiful second chase assuming the person unhooking me had borrowed.
I am a killer main, I get why people tunnel. But man, I have to agree with survivors on this one, you can't break rank 15 as a tunneler? You are really bad. They literally can only have fun by ruining my fun because surely they are embarrassed that they are ranked lower than my sister who constantly allows 3 people to escape because she is nice. She is basically hard throwing her games and is still a better killer player. Imagine that.
I just went against a rank 1 tunneling ttv blight lol, this is pretty much dbd now and you rarely get an enjoyable match anymore. I remember back in 2019 where most matches were fun and the odd bad one, but now it's the complete opposite.
-
For me it's even before then, when there's one gen left all bets are off.
-
Yes because people don't dc against spirit enough already lol.
-
Same reason you complain about gen rushing, because it makes the game unenjoyable for the other side. Can you play however you like, of course but the other side doesn't have to like it.

"It's more effecient to sit by a hook while someone goes 'he's camping do gens' then chase 1 guy, have 1 guy save and only 1 other on gens". I do not understand this sentiment at all. And that can't be fun. If that's so common for you that you call it "meta" then why even play killer at this point?
I don't think I ever need to camp as killer unless I massively misplay early game and waste a ton of time making bad plays in my first chase. And I would say that while there's a huge skill disparity in red ranks, 1 in every 50 games maybe ends in more than 2 escapes, if that. Even against good survivors or swfs.
I literally never see an actually good killer camp unless a survivor is blatantly baiting near the hook, and they do well enough as do I.
If there's a weak link it's smart to get them out ASAP, if the team are around the hook it's smart to camp.
If I'm in either of those situations and I'm going against a team that's efficient on gens then I'll do it, but if I'm against a bunch of solos then I'll go for hooks because I know I have time to.
Also some people do enjoy camping and playing like that and just because I don't doesn't mean that they are wrong for doing it, if that's how someone wants to play and that's how they enjoy playing then they have every right to enjoy the game however they like.

Yeah dude, even the devs act like that. Everyone says this is a casual game but then you see the devs slapping unnecessary cooldowns on Nurse and Billy that made them much less fun to play because they needed to be more """skill based""".
Pretty much, all either of them needed was their add ons adjusted but the devs like to over do it on nerfs.
-
Question 1 - how high are you right now?
Question 2 - may I have some please?
๐๐
-
I think everytime you hit a new devotion level you should get a set amount of bloodpoints. So hit level 1-5 get 500,000 each time, hit 6-10 get 1,000,000, and any after that get 2,000,000. It rewards players for time in the game and also sticking with the game for a long time. Also in the long run with how many bp we need for the grind it myn't seem like a lot but it really isn't to much to ask for.
-
I don't think she's bad but in comparison to the other killers she isn't particularly viable at the high level.
One main thing I would change though is the RNG on her traps, you shouldn't be able to get it off first try.

This is way too true๐
Yep, now unless you wish to talk about camping, tunneling, slugging, how SWF or any killer or perk is OP please go about your day my good man. ๐๐
-
I don't get mad if they do either it's just a video game after all so I try not to take it personally.
If I play killer whether I do either is based on the match, if it's a bunch of solos who are slow on gens then I know I've got time to play nice and I won't do it. However if it's a decent team who are powering through the gens then all bets are off, if you're going to do your objective as fast as you can then I'm going to do the same.

Oh my ######### God.
How do people still not get this?
Things in this game stack ADDITIVELY, not MULTIPLICATIVELY.
Yes, 0x50 is still 0, but 0+50 is 50.
Excuse me sir but we are on the dbd forums, this is no place for common sense. ๐๐

Just remove the standing still "mind game" everything else I'm okay with.

4 man SWF is the power role, 2 mans are equal to the killer and solos are at the bottom of the pack.

Ah I get that, I've rotated a few times with name I recognize.
That myn't be it but I'm not sure though, I play with cross play but I'd imagine I'd get the same people a lot more if I disabled it.
-
Those lucky dogs, how I dream for that beautiful creature to insidious camp me in the basement. ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ
-
Maybe it's because the people they play with are in a smaller circle without cross play and they myn't recognise a name of someone who is toxic in your lobby.

that actually would be really nice. I hate waiting forever and I have a rough match and only get a few thousand BP's.
It would certain be a decent incentive if only to try and help with the grind of the game.

I think the third one goes best with the trousers <3

I think alien will be likely on the cards at some point in the future if they haven't asked them already. As for IT I'm a bit 50/50 on that just because we already have clown but you never know.

This is the most obnoxious one I've come across and is basically insta-suicide. I have to wait in these trash lobby que times to still fail it.
I thought this one was pretty easy tbh, one quick run around shack vaulting window 3 times until blocked, dumb tech the shack pallet and then vault the next window you run near, job done.
-
Nuke it.
-
Depends which side of the map he's on, if it's the side with all the vaults and buildings to run round yes because you're better off not using his power because it will take to long, but he's good on the other side because it's more open. Your best bet is to protect the gens on that side and let the ones on the other side go and force them to come over there to you.
-
The devs spoke a little about it in the anniversary stream and they're looking at giving incentives for people to play during peak hours when the wait time is at its worst. They'll likely add double bloodpoints bonuses or something for people who play killer during those times.
-
Because if you play solo then you're most likely going to get matched up with solos who are looking out for themselves and/or just trying to get time challenges done atm.
Where as if you play killer you're more likely going to get matched up against a SWF so they're going to be more efficient on gens and look out for each other because they're friends irl.
-
Because they're just one of those toxic streamers who like to talk crap to the killers with their "friends" and give other people who stream a bad name.
-
No it would be hella boring on both sides. Survivor gameplay would be the same every single match which would just get stale very quickly, also the killers I like to play are all the ones with completely different play styles because it's fun to have a challenge and put effort in to learning a different power and way to play.
-
Id imagine they have the next few kinda worked out but if you put in some suggestions it doesn't mean that they myn't not like the concept and build on it to make a killer. Worth a shot and it's better to try and have nothing happen then to not try at all if you have a good idea.

I understand that its hard to balance around SWF while solo players exist. I also understand that people want to play with their friends and shouldnยดt be punished for it. BUT neither should killers, for being matched against coordinated SWF teams.
In the end, those coordinated SWF teams will only get matched against god nurses, spirits and streamers that play for a living. In other words, those that deserve each other.
Exactly if MMR ever kicks in that's pretty much going to be what they go against every match.
-
I'd use it for a random perk build or a meme build but otherwise there's just so many other better perks to use imo.

Yes, the double standards are truly amazing!
Same thing happens when someone posts videos about gen rushes. People dismiss them, because not everyone plays like this.
Pretty much:
Comms are overpowered - yeah but everyone doesn't use comms in SWF.
Gens fly to fast because they split up on gens and be super efficient - yeah but some of us are just messing around with our friends not taking it seriously.
So many arguments against balancing SWF gets dismissed by this kind of logic yet if you apply the same to killers suddenly the same logic doesn't make sense anymore.
-
I bring kindred sometimes and I find it more annoying than helpful when you see someone being camped and the two other survivors just crouched near the hook not doing anything for the full 2 mins the other survivors on hook.
If you've got BT try and save but if not then get on a gen and punish them for camping.
-
Yeah if you're a casual player nurse isn't the one for you. She takes a lot of time to learn and you have to keep using her on a regular basis because if you take a week or two off from playing her you get rusty as hell.

It's technically possible for solos to do the same. It's just unlikely to see the avg survivor team because...
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/2Z6YZNCVKN7V/2021-06-06.png
Lol pretty much. ๐
-
The same reason we excuse SWF.
Funny thing is if you talk about SWF you'll be met with the response of not everyone who plays SWF is that good so it's not fair to nerf them, however if you put that same argument saying not everyone who plays spirit or nurse is that good people don't seem to agree with that logic. Double standards are quite amusing sometimes.
-
The only time I've done that is if I'm left in the match with an injured survivor that's tried trolling me or unhooked themselves in my face. I'll wait for the killer to get there and down them and then open it and leave. ๐
