I play solo and have fun, maybe you just need to get good?

They wouldn't use the minigun for Nemesis. They can make his design like that since his movie design isn't actually that bad but the mini gun is a no. He needs is rocket launcher.
Now a killer with a rocket launcher in dbd is something I can get behind 😂

Survivors don’t have the luxury of trying to dodge a TTV killer, so why should you?
I dodge if I'm a survivor and they're in my team as well, I don't want them as my teammate either.
-
If I know they have thrilling and I'm injured I will repair until they down someone and then use the time to heal while it's active so I'm healed and the killer doesn't know I'm on a gen.
Its also worth it to just let go if not and also if they have ruin because the gen won't regress while it's active, and also they won't know which gen you're on again.

I don't no what the devs are doing. I already know that. What I do know is that they aren't bringing in the movies. For skins that's different. As base stuff no they will simply not do that.
Bringing in skins like Alice from the movies is what I mean. The only other thing that I have said could come from the movies is nemesis and the way his power could work because he is in both.
-
Doctors all about timing your shocks, if you do that right you can pretty much cut off loops and get quick downs. Doctor is pretty underrated honestly.
-
You can only derank to 16 so if they're rank 20 they've likely come back from a break.
-
12 hours of clean gameplay without dcing drops you down to the previous time.

yeah you got some good ideas there. We could really use a mass perk buff patch
100% there are so many perks that don't ever get used because they're pretty much useless and don't add anything to gameplay.

That loop's not gonna last that long, first of all. But secondly, as mentioned, you can just add the stipulation that it doesn't work when the killer is in a chase and you'd be done.
So what about when a survivor runs near a camping killer and they turn and get into chase with them.
At the end of the day the person you are facing in a PvP game doesn't have to play in a way that makes the game fun for the other team. No PvP game that's ever existed has one team gave a second thought to the other teams fun when they're playing, dbd is no different.

Okay, please clarify. How, exactly, is it abusable?
A survivor can loop the killer around the hooked teammate while the other two do gens and the hooked survivor doesn't go into second state. So it's very abusable.
-
Agree to all these points especially pallet efficiency, if I'm healthy I'll use vaults and not drop pallets unless I'm injured and I'm going to go down if I don't.

The other licensed characters came from movies because they came from movies. Did PH come from the Silent Hill movies? No. Not at all.
That's why I said the word majority and not the word all. But again you have no idea what the devs have planned for the chapter when it's released or after for any legendary skins that will later be released, but if you want to pretend like you do go for it.
-
Nemesis is the most iconic resident evil boss. If not him though I'd be okay with Mr X.

When I stream I use TTV on my name, and I'm also a solo player who doesn't play toxic. I've also had non TTV people coming with their SWF to my profile. Does it mean they're all the same? No
In my experience they have been so I'm not taking that chance that they myn't be in the small minority that aren't.

You think the people who arent streaming arent saying the same things about the game?
I'm sure they are but they don't have a group of people with them talking crap as well and even going as far to send hate messages on the streamers behalf because the streamer has decided that they didn't like how you played.

She isn't at all. I can list a mountain of characters everyone likes more than her. I don't have to be a dev to know they aren't using something from the movies. Literally everyone knows that. Hell, they used the font from the games.
I don't know how you know what everybody thinks unless you're psychic. Nobody other than the devs know anything about what's being put into the game.
And yet again you can't completely disregard the fact the so many people have watched the movies without playing the games, some even got into the games because of the movies. Also the majority of licensed dlcs have come from movie characters so no one can logically say that it's not a possibility that they can take anything from the movies as well.
-
I'd love two killers but I doubt that would happen. I really hope they do the same as they did with stranger things and put in a male and female survivor because not only would they be able to cash in a lot more from the chapter but we'd be able to get all the iconic characters from the games and movies.
I would like Chris and Claire Redfield as the main ones but I really would love more than anything to be able to play Alice from the movies because she's such an icon.
-
Honestly it is just practice makes perfect. Watching content creators helps and getting tips from them on how to run loops as killer or survivor.
Also with huntress have aura perks and just keep going for cross map shots with bbq etc, you will miss the majority of the time but eventually you will start getting them, plus trying and failing is better than not trying at all

Of course it highlights a problem. Solo players need tools to emulate the level of coordination that SWFs have.
If that ends up making survivors as a whole stronger, buff killers as well.
I only play solo and I honestly think that the only thing solos need more than anything is SBM to be implemented. In my experience the majority of bad matches happen because of the teammates I've been paired with, so if everyone was on the same level it would help a lot when playing solo.
-
People will say that it would never happen because killers would just avoid them, but for me that should highlight a problem in itself.
-
I'm not sure on that one, for me anyway. I usually find Solos at high ranks have got there by fending for themselves and not relying on a team to back them up so they had to work a lot harder being good in chase and are therefore better in chase than a lot of SWF players.
You will always get potatoe teammates at any rank though, but you'll also get potatoe SWF teams, they just have comms, teammates they know will save and synergising perks to back them up.

Maybe not remove the dc penalties but sometimes for me as a killer I have to dc because of the bugs and It gets annoying, I actually want to play the game, it's fun when I don't encounter any bugs.
It's so rare I encounter bugs as the killer tbh, game breaking ones anyway. I've had one this year where I had to dc because I had an imaginary survivor on my shoulder and the match wouldn't end. But maybe I'm lucky in that respect.
-
I do completely agree that the pallet issue is very frustrating and although it has happened less since the update it is still happening sometimes. I also agree that a health patch is necessary for this game, however I can't agree that they should remove the dc penalties in the mean time because it would make it 10x worse.
Imagine if when this happened to a survivor they just dc'd everytime then it would just screw everyone over. Plus there will always be the salty players that take advantage and just start dcing again because they got downed first or they don't like the killer etc,. The dc penalties were one of the best things for solo survivor imo.
-
They should lock survivors chosen and their items in at the 30 second mark so at least the killer has chance to rearrange their build if they feel the need to.
That way survivors could still rearrange their perks but just not give themselves an item at the last second.
-
I agree but I think unbreakable should lose its recovery speed after you've used it.
Other than that though I just want them to go and hardcore buff 10 of the least used perks on both sides and actually make them worth running instead of just being something you buy on the bloodweb and never use. If they're overly buffed then nerf them after a PTB, but we need to try and shake up the same old meta perks on both sides.
-
Because if they are at a loop with a pallet or window they just extend the chase and there is nothing you can do about it.
Also on a personal note as a huntress main there is nothing more annoying then throwing the hatchet and it hitting and seeing the blood and the survivor not going down and half a second later magically dead harding after they've been hit.
-
I'm not sure what it's called because I don't use it but the one Nurse has where she makes a survivor scream when she blinks past them. The majority of the time you're already going to be chasing that survivor so I find it pointless.
-
Spirit for obvious reasons lol and trickster because he's pretty easy to loop and have decently long chases against so he's boring to vs for me.
Haddonfield because I hate loading onto a map and knowing that I'm pretty much being handed a win unless my teammates are the potatoiest of potatoes. Also midwich I love the way it looks but the gameplay is stale and going against certain killers like hag for example is pretty much a death sentence.
-
For a lot of players he is the first dlc they get because bbq and chilli is a great perk for newbies to be able to get straight back into chasing instead of searching and gens popping.
Most of them either are newer or he was their first main and they kept playing him because they did well with him and kept his best perk on.
-
Imagine complaining about having to wait a few seconds to dc and have to wait 5 mins lol. Stop being salty and just take it on the chin and wait and move onto the next match. You can't be that overflowing with self importance that you think you shouldn't have to wait a few seconds lmao.

Hm, maybe if you could read the mind of the people who arent TTVs you'd think differently. People who have TTV in their name just want to grow their channel, how does that make them "the worst"?
Every experience I've had with a TTV has been a bad one.
They talk crap with their viewers and even if I've played nice as killer I'm a trash camper, tunneller even when I haven't done either. Also even if I've gone out of my way to help as a teammate and taken hits for them, saved them with a flashlight or pallet or made sure to save them on the hook and do gens I'm a useless teammate and I'm terrible at the game.
Everyone I've come across is toxic and does nothing but whine and complain about the game and blames every other player for them not being able to win.
-
The ones you can get from killers you can get with shards are random, however the pay to win perks are only put in very very rarely.
-
It's also pretty decent to let you know when the killers approaching aswell.
-
Weakest Trickster
Strongest Nurse or Spirit
-
You can try but you're right, with the current chest bug if they find a key in that scenario you pretty much just lose: unless the hatch is in the 3 gen then you myn't be able to close the hatch before all 3 escape.
-
Im sure my solo survivor teammates will do the same.....right? Lmao
-
I need it for my huntress snipes :)
-
TTV's are literally the worst. I always dodge if I'm playing with them or against them.
-
There needs to be more meta perks for both sides. People are bored of going against the same perks every single match.
-
If you get to 48 hour because of your internet you need to upgrade your WiFi bruh.
-
Finally a decent counter to SWF lmao 😂😂

How condescending, I love it. Hope you're about to send me the 999k blooodpoints i'm gonna need to go through the bloodweb over and over and over with all the killers to get franklin and then having to sacrifice a perk slot because survivors are so ######### that they can't win the game without cheating.
And btw, you don't need to complete generators for the hatch to be a thing, the final survivor can just let his entire team die, hide, find the hatch and in the case the killer finds it first, use the key to open it again and that's it, he won without having to do anything.
I know survivors cry like crazy when they lose, but if you weren't able to do gens and keep your team alive so you can escape through the gates, you don't deserve the win.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2129624#Comment_2129624
It's usually better to just camp and tunnel the ######### out of someone who brings a key, they were trying to ruin your fun so might as well return the favor.
I only camp or tunnel if it's a smart move in a match. I'd be bored if I did that from the start so I'd rather just avoid them and be able to play a decent match.

the bug make it so they have key in chest so you cant really dodge that. The cut coin offering is a good idea its just sad you need to waste 6k bp to try and counter a bug.
I'm saying you dodge if you see one in the lobby and bring a cut coin if you play the match and they haven't brought a key.
-
Dodge if they have a key and bring a cut coin if they don't.

Alice? One of the most well known characters... What are you on?! They won't ever use anything from the movies!.If anything a skin.
She was in every single movie so of course she is one of the most well known characters out of the franchise, that's just a fact whether you like it or not. The resident evil movies is one of the biggest horror movie series of this generation. You can't disregard that, there are many people out there that have watched the movies and never played a single game. And again you aren't a dev so you have zero idea what the devs are going to use from the franchise.

PLEASE TEACH ME! I've been playing huntress for so long recently trying to learn how. I wanna go back to my nurse and twins, but I'm going to learn crossmaps first. Please at least give me some tips(I'm also on ps4)
I've been playing her for a good while now and only recently been able to get them, but I've been practicing her a lot more.
I have bbq and if I see someone on a gen I throw a hatchet above where they are but don't charge it because it curves back down and make sure there aren't trees etc blocking the way or it won't work.
I'm managing to get one at least once a day now and it's so rewarding, plus it puts the fear in cocky survivors when they get hit across the map and suddenly they aren't cocky anymore lol.
-
I like killers like nurse and huntress because they take time and practice to get good with and they're very rewarding to play once you do.
-
I'm a huntress main on console and I can admit it's more difficult to play her with a controller, however if you put enough time and practice in it definitely can be done. I can even cross map people with her and knowing how difficult it is just makes it more rewarding.
-
Depends on the situation. If you're against a team who all run in for the save or you see scratch marks by the hooked survivor the smart play is to camp or at least proxy camp.
