Yeah it should. I understand it if someone's brought a key but other than that Franklin's is the most anti fun perk in the entire game.
-
I've been playing this game for four years and never once have I cared to even look at the lore lol.
Does the killer look good? Does he have a good power? Other than that I don't really care tbh.
-
Yeah a lot of people play female survivors because they are smaller and much harder to see when hiding in bushes etc.
Also a lot of them have better cosmetics so that's always a plus as well.
-
There's been one and it's been happening less but it's still happening every now and again, also killers can still swing and avoid the stun completely which is stupid.
They are aware of if though so hopefully another hot fix will come out soon. The last one didn't take long so hopefully this one won't either and it will finally be fixed.
-
Either just don't type anything back in end game chat or just type gg wp regardless. Clearly he was doing it to get a reaction out of you so if you don't give him one he doesn't get what he wants.

-
Nemesis is a classic icon of resident evil.
-
But you have the choice to wait until you have enough shards or buy it with auric cells if you want it sooner.
It's sort of like buying a fast pass ticket for a ride a Disney land lol. You either wait in line or pay extra to not have to.
-
I'd swap the jake and the ash around and move Meg up to the top and then I pretty much agree lol.
-
Estar acampado por una bubba no es toxico, es un honor y in privilegio.
-
Sometimes spine chill can mess solo survivors up as well because if they're on a gen and the perk lights up some will start being stealthy even though the killer is in chase with someone else and not coming to their gen at all.
The only other perk that counters a killer is iron will for spirit, however most spirits run strider anyway so that makes it pretty redundant.

At least afk on the hook, especially against a face camper, means they're buying time for the team to do generators -- instead of throwing a tantrum, escape failing to kill themselves, and cutting the time bought in half.
No, you can never fix players being absolute trash and just quitting matches regardless of how it affects their team because "my feelings are more important than anyone elses" mentality. But, you can at least force it into very specific and niche situations instead of making it more harmful to your supposed 'team' than it needs to be.
I know that, but I also know that some people just don't care so they'll always find a way to work around everything. I don't think the issue will ever be fixed when playing survivor unless you're in a 4 man, otherwise sadly it's just a part of solo life.

The first one can be addressed but the other two are social constructs so its a little bit harder to fix those just by improving the game
I know I just think those are three things that would make the game better if they weren't part of the whole dbd experience.
-
I don't think they would be able to tell just by the stats without seeing the match. They'll probably just have a basic scoreboard for kills and escapes.
-
Noob3 doesn't make content anymore so his loyal minions have slowly subsided.
-
A player that's been killed by any means necessary is included. The only thing they don't include is dc's.
-
- The Grind
- Player entitlement
- Player toxicity
-
They're noob3 wannabes lol.
-
I'm a huntress main and I don't use the iri head and infantry belt combo because I think it's to overpowered. I myn't try iri head now with the other new iri add on, may be a fun combo to switch up play styles every now and again, may even make STBFL viable on her.
-
If you want to win and you see an opportunity to slug then you should do it. I've won matches as huntress all because I saw an opportunity and snowballed.
-
I don't care about the bm as much as how red ranks fly through the gens.
I'd take a group of flashlight clickers over a bunch of gen magnets any day.
-
Keys are the only item in the game as survivor that I keep and make a collection and never use lol. I'd rather use an item that actually offers something in terms of gameplay and not just a free escape if I find the hatch.
-
I think the perks fine, the only time it becomes OP is on a decent nurse.

Thank you, I'll check him out tonight
He's really good and he has loads of videos to learn from for all killers :).

Nah. It is just the symbol for survivor. When you are in the main menu you can see them above "play as..."
I know I just thought maybe because the only time you see them above ranks is at rank 1 so it myn't have some meaning behind it.
-
Another one will come along soon, but I agree with how much of a grind this game is now they should be more often. Maybe every other month for a weekend.
-
I find the majority of hitboxes inconsistent in this game on both sides.
Even as killer I'm tired of playing huntress to hit someone with a hatchet, hear the noise and see blood yet it somehow doesn't damage them lol.
-
I think it's the gears for gens. I guess it's suppose to symbolise that you're good at being able to get gens done and be able to escape if you get to rank 1, and the skull means you are good at getting kills playing killer.
-
I run the vault build with iron will and there's nothing worse than 99ing yourself just to have another survivor run up and tap you to full health lol. Like in 99% healed and I have a medkit and I'm not asking you to heal me, don't you think there's a reason why lmao.
-
This is the top % though, even the devs have admitted on stream that they're aware of the massive balance issues at the top, but they know the majority of people aren't in the top % so they don't care.
-
I think predator would be really cool on dbd and fit really well. I'm not sure on alien I just can't imagine him being weak and getting bopped on the head with a pallet by a dweet lol but that's probably just me.
-
Go to YouTube and check out otzdarva. He was a trapper main for a long time and is a great teacher when learning killers.
-
They do get a penalty in the emblem system. However there's been games I've played where camping, tunneling or slugging at the right moment got me a 4K. You may not like it but sometimes it's the smartest thing to do. If someone has a chance of snowballing and winning they aren't not going to do it because someone doesn't enjoy it.

Difference between both of those, infinite mending was banable, this isn't because reasons, not even a warning.

Their build was no mither, unbreakable, soul guard, and breakdown,
they kept going to the corner where there were no hooks at all because of the less hook offerings and breakdown.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2138113#Comment_2138113
I have PH p3 all perks, I was just doing Myers since I wanted to do the 300 tiers up achievement, but yeah might as well just use PH 24/7
Oh damn didn't realise they had no mither, now that's toxic. Bet all you could do was play whack a mole then lol, I hope the devs sort the bug out soon.
-
Where's my popcorn, time for another Sluzzy post best get comfy 😂
-
Slug them all and let them bleed out on the floor and punish them for trying to abuse it. Give them your own 4 min dc penalty lmao.

And it is a great change - but they messed up and made a point to state it was "not intended to stop intentional deaths on hooks" (probably to save themselves from people crying about not being able to) and still designed it so if you 'miss a skill check' it lowers your progress so you can still 'suicide' on hook.
It won't change the problem, just makes it less intense on the controller/keyboard.
Should have just manned up, said 'no suicidies', force those quitting players to take DC penalties if they really want to quit and not buy their team any time hanging there; and made skills checks EXTEND your hook timer to a certain limit, so you can actively buy your team mates more time by hitting the skill checks - and if you don't, then you hang there the full struggle/sacrifice timer as it is implemented right now without escape failures.
They've stopped dcing so now they suicide on hook, they change suicide on hook and people just start going afk until the rounds over, they stop people from going afk and they run at the killer as soon as they come off the hook to go back on, the killer slugs because they realise and they just hold the button down while watching YouTube so they can't be healed and die on the floor.
Sadly no matter what they do there's just always going to be people that decide for whatever reason they don't want to play a match anymore. Be great if they could fix it but you just can't change human nature, no matter what penalties they put in people will find a way around it.

Exactly!!! They are toxic by mindgaming me and scaring me by bringing 4 KEYS!!!
They probably just wanted you to bring Franklin's and waste a perk slot.
-
Lol, that broken key bait though 😂😂👌🏻
-
They're changing the struggle mechanic to skill checks like pyramid heads cages so they can't let go as soon as they hit struggle.

I wonder who started it first? The survivors since tbagging was in the game since the beginning? Or maybe the killers?
That's like asking what came first the chicken or the egg lmao.
-
It's just how people are in this game. Survivors lose because killer tunnels or camps and they're so toxic, yet when they go against a killer who isn't that great it's tbagging at every pallet and clicking their flashlights.
Same for killer to they deal with the tbaggers and then complain how they're toxic, then they go against a bunch of solos playing normally and they dominate and they're hitting them on the hook or leaving them to bleed out. It's all just a vicious cycle.
-
Someone who doesn't have an ego and just plays for fun and doesn't have to try and prove they're the best all the time.
Ive had to stop watching certain streamers which are big in the community because of this.

That's great for you, but most players have played less than 2 years. Most players have less than 1000 hours in game.
I rarely SWF as survivor (Out of almost 3200 games as survivor - I have just over 350 in a SWF and only 91 of those were in a 4 man SWF). Why do I play in SWF - because I have friends. We play for fun - win or lose and frankly our win percentage is not dramatically higher whether it is a 2-3-4 man SWF. This presupposition that SWFs are so powerful is hyperbolic to say the least because its based on the fallacious thought that everyone in the SWF is A+ rated already. I have played since the beginning of 2017 (February 12, 2017 to be exact). I am a 50/50 player and tend to believe the data I track (every single game) over hyperbolic claims that are totally incongruent with such data.
Do SWFs have an advantage - generally speaking yes. (I have played with newer (less than 50 hours) players - and no SWF with them is not an advantage, but it can be a lot of fun).
Are there elite SWF squads - absolutely - I have faced a few in my time as killer.
Are MOST SWFs beatable - Absolutely!
SWFs are the easily blamed entity to excuse mistakes killers make in their gameplay. I just don't view them as the Big Bad Bully groups that some killer mains like to paint them as on these forums. Most SWFs I come across are generally very nice - and just friends trying to have some fun together. I am not saying there aren't sweaty SWFs or toxic SWFs... I am just saying they are not nearly as prevalent as some killer mains on these forums would like you to think they are....
Facts are facts everyone knows playing SWF is easier and gives you a lot more advantages than solo does. The top players in the game know and recognise this.
Half of the SWFs mess around and don't try properly because they know if they did want to just smash gens and go in to win they easily could, however like I said quick matches are boring so they just mess around and don't try properly. because they know at a decent level on the game everything is heavily tipped in their favour. There's even a clip of a dev on stream admitting that at the top ranks there is a massive balancing issue between SWF and killers, but they don't care because a lot of people are in the middle and they balance for them.

Well I have played just over 3600 games as a killer and I can tell you from my experience that SWFs are SLIGHTLY more difficult to beat, but I still have no problems getting 2-4ks. I am by no means a Pro killer (my average kill rate is 61.92%) so either your SWF is OP AF or you are facing mediocre killers if you are all getting out most matches.
I've been playing 4 years and when I did SWF I played with people who had the roughly the same amount of time in the game. We knew where the imbalances in this game are and it's with gen speeds. 4 survivors who are efficient on gens can beat even the best killers in the game because they can't be in 4 separate places at once. People like Tru3talent and Otzdarva struggle against teams like that because no matter how well they play the gens just keeping popping.
-
This community either in the game or even on this forum are pretty much split into 2 categories. You have some really nice people who want to just have fun and get along, then you have some toxic idiots that just want to be a dick whenever possible. As long as you're okay with the decent folks and dismiss what the trash water folks think you're all good.

Many SWFs would disagree with you - guess you are just THAT good.
You don't have to be that good in a SWF you just split up on gens. Anyone who struggles in a 4 man is just THAT bad.

Resilience would be redundant in this build if they and the Obsession are regularly searching each other out for a heal for their Haste buff.
Resilience would make things faster regardless, plus either can be in chase or have died in the match in which case resilience will do what he asked and make things faster.
